국내 의료기관의 환기설비 운영실태 및 인식 조사 (Investigation on Ventilation Mmethod and Recognition of Users in Healthcare Facilities of KOREA)

  • Purpose: The outbreak of Middle East Respiratory Syndrome(MERS) in KOREA has brought up the demands for ventilation guideline and regulations for healthcare facilities since most of the infection was spreaded inside healthcare facility. Currently KOREA has no ventilation guideline or regulations covering entire section of healthcare facility. The purpose of this study is to investigate current ventilation methods in KOREA healthcare facilities to in future, propose ventilation guideline. Methods: Research of foreign counties ventilation guideline and regulation for healthcare facilities were conducted for reference. Field investigation with survey of 21 healthcare were conducted to identify the ventilation system and operating methods. Additionally survey for healthcare workers were conducted to observe the recognition related to ventilation system in healthcare facility. Results: The result showed that most of foreign countries ventilation guideline and regulation suggests similar items to reduce the spread of infection and maintain good indoor air quality. The investigation results indicated that fixed guideline for ventilation in healthcare facility were required due to different ventilation operating methods. Survey result of healthcare workers has told us that ventilation guideline and regulation is needed to prevent further infection. Implications: Absence of ventilation guideline and regulations for healthcare facility in KOREA is an urgent issue.

거주자가 지각한 정신건강 관련 주거의 질 분석에 기초한 주거 개선요소 (Housing Improvement Elements Depended on the Analysis of Urban Residents' Perceived Korean Housing Quality Related to Mental Health)

  • The purpose of the study was to analyze the improvement elements depended on housing quality measurement tool related to mental health. The data for the analysis was collected through questionnaire survey method from November 1, 2012 to January 17, 2013, and the sample consisted of 720 respondents living in single detached houses, multi-families detached houses, apartments, and town houses in 4 cities, Seoul, Busan, Daejeon, and Kwangju. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of improvement elements are as follows: 1) Pedestrian-threaten street from cars in physical safety 2) A secluded or dark spot and fear of walking at night in social security, 3) Indoor noise, outdoor noise, and evidence of abandoned trash heap/bottle in neighborhood in health & sanitation, 4) Illegal parking and heating control system in facility convenience, 5) Extra kitchen, number of bathrooms, and community spaces in space convenience, 6) Openness and spaciousness of indoor room, and satisfaction of house and neighborhood in comfort, 7) Management common/sharing space in maintenance, 8) Energy saving facility and environment friendly materials use in sustainability, 9) Burden on housing cost, asset value on house, and school district in economic value, 10) Reflection of residents style, surrounding building's number of layers, and neighborhood appearance of preference in housing environment image.

공동주택 단지 내 실내 커뮤니티시설의 인테리어 특징 분석 (Analysis of interior features of indoor community facilities in Apartment Complex)

  • This study analyzes interior features of indoor community facilities, focused on apartment complexes in capital area selected by 'Award of best living apartment' during $2000{\sim}2007$. First we analyze community facilities' concept, present standards of installment, present condition, then the size of each complex compared with legal standards. Also, we analyze interior features(spacial layout, furniture and furnishings, interior finishing materials, interior color), too. Research methods included both data survey and site visiting inquiry. Data survey method analyzes size of each complex using community facilities' floor plans, and site visiting inquiry analyzes type and feature of community facilities. Survey target was total 11 complexes, 7 in Seoul, 4 in Gyeonggi-do. The result is as follows. 1) It is needed to improve legal standards of installment, and to provide space with flexibility and changeability in order to allow alternation of usage purpose by resident's claim. 2) To determine size of community facilities, we must planned not only by the number of households, but by legal standards of supply according to the number of households, the rate of net area, and the recommended size per person. 3) The area of community facilities in apartment complex that residents use doesn't considered user's convenience. So it us needed to add each facility's recommendation in response to user's needs.

우리나라 영유아 보육시설의 친환경 실내를 위한 체크리스트와 디자인안 제안 (Checklist and Design Recommendations for the Interiors of Korean, Eco-healthy Childcare Facilities)

  • As children are known to touch and chew everything, green cleaning procedures are an important step in preventing children from ingesting harmful toxins. The objectives of this study are to develop a new, self-evaluation checklist and to suggest design recommendations which comply with easy, adaptable, economical ways to improve the eco-friendly indoor environment of Korean childcare facilities. The information compiled during this study was collected through literature review and internet surveys1) from July, 2009 to February, 2010. The results of this study show that the current Korean childcare accreditation system and practices emphasize clean building interiors, policies for sanitation and cleanliness, and control of humidity and lighting. On the other hand, the information provided by green-building rating systems from GBCC, LEED, and GBTool offers additional and comparative details regarding indoor environment quality and standards regarding the IAQ performance and management plan, ventilation and thermal comfort systems, views from windows, acoustics, and lighting. In conclusion, this document provides an appropriate and easy-to-follow, self-evaluation checklist composed of eight criteria and 51 practical items. This study also provides the design recommendations composed of 27 practical ideas focusing on interior elements. Both the checklist and design recommendations I have suggested can be a post-occupancy tool for evaluating eco-healthy facility standards as well as tips for continuing to maintain eco-healthy childcare facilities.

사례분석을 통한 학교건축 친환경 인증기준의 실내환경 평가항목 적용현황에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of Criteria of the Indoor Environment through the Case of Green Building Certification Criteria for School)

  • Recently, there are effects such as commercial investment and introducing new technology by introducing a BTL project. As a result, School's conditions are getting better and Numbers of certified schools are increasing, because the Green Building Certification Criteria was created in 2002 and expanded to schools in March, 2005. But the certificated schools just get the minimum score for certificate level 'good' about 65 points and there is no certificated school level 'very good'. The users of school stay in long time in the facility cause of the unique function of school. It means Indoor Environment Quality Criterion of the school is very important than any other criteria. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the indoor environment factor for the plan of the certificated school by green building rating systems. And this study also wants make the basement of a substantial technical application and development of the criteria in the plan for sustainable green school.

완주군 경로당의 실내환경과 이용자들의 특성 및 만족도 (Indoor Environment and Characteristics and Satisfaction of Users of Senior Centers in Wanju County)

  • The purpose of this paper is to suggest the preliminary data for the improvement of the senior centers' indoor environment and the upcoming progress located in rural areas. In wanju county, 81.8% of seniors were enrolled in senior centers, and used the facility everyday. Also, most of the users tended to use the facilities between 12 a.m. and 6 p.m. The majority of users had lunch at the senior centers. The facilities of most senior centers were in poor condition, and some had their restroom outdoor. Also, most senior centers are exposed to high concentrations of carbon dioxide during winter. During this season, the thermal environment in the restroom was bad. However, the users' level of the facilities' satisfaction was positive. Senior centers have been operating the facilities with difficulties, due to the low financial support from the local autonomous organization. The indoor temperature in most centers, especially, was above $30^{\circ}C$ during summer on account of lack of funding for airconditioning. Therefore, it could be recommended that the local autonomous entity start regular check-ups and repairs for the poor indoor environment and facilities, with more financial support and active supervision of the management.

지하역사내 식생바이오필터의 입자상 오염물질 저감특성 연구 (Study on Particulate Pollutant Reduction Characteristics of Vegetation Biofilters in Underground Subway Stations)

  • Public attention to the indoor environment of underground subway stations, which is a representative multi-use facility, has been increasing along with the increase in indoor activities. In underground stations, fine iron oxide, which affects the health of users, is generated because of the friction between wheels and rails. Among particulate pollutant reduction technologies, plants have been considered as a non-chemical air purification method, and their effects in reducing certain chemical species have been identified in previous studies. The present study aimed to derive the total quantitative and qualitative reduction effects of a bio-filter system comprising air purifying plants, installed in an underground subway station. The experiment proceeded in two ways. First, PM(particulate matter) reduction effect by vegetation biofilter was monitored with the IAQ(indoor air quality) station. In addition, chemical speciation analysis conducted on the samples collected from the experimental and control areas where plants and irrigation using SEM-EDS(scanning electron microscopy-energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy). This study confirmed the effect of the vegetation bio-filter system in reducing the accumulation of particulate pollutants and transition and other metals that are harmful to the human body.

3차원 실내공간 모델링 원시자료의 활용도 평가 (Evaluation on Practical Use of Raw Data for 3D Indoor Space Modeling)

  • 최근 실내공간에서 활동하는 인구가 증가함에 따라 3차원 실내공간정보에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 실내공간정보를 포함하는 3차원 실내공간 모델링은 LoD 4 (Level of Detail 4) 수준의 객체지향 형태로 수행되고 있으며, 원시자료에 따라 준공도면, 레이저스캐닝, BIM데이터와 카메라를 이용하여 모델링 데이터를 구축할 수 있다. 3차원 실내공간 모델링을 수행하기 위해 정립된 프로세스는 실내공간 모델링 데이터 구축작업의 기반이 되며 구축된 모델링 데이터는 실내공간 보행자 내비게이션, 시설물관리 및 재난관리 등 다양한 어플리케이션에서 활용가능하다. 그러나 정립된 실내공간 모델링 프로세스 기반으로 수행되는 작업이 매우 복잡하고 모델링 작업에 많은 시간이 소비되어 효율적인 모델링을 하는데 한계가 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 효율적인 실내공간 모델링 수행 지원을 목적으로 원시자료의 활용도 평가를 제안한다. 기존 3차원 실내공간 모델링 프로세스 분석을 통해 활용도 평가를 위한 필요요건을 정의하고, 검증 방법을 제안한다. 또한 제안된 방법은 서울시 3차원 실내공간 모델링 프로젝트에서 사용된 준공도면을 적용하여 수행한다.

초고층 복합주거단지의 친환경 계획요소 평가를 통한 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement Method by Environmental-Friendly Planning Elements of High-rise Residential Complex)

  • 초고층 복합주거 유형은 도심지에서 신도시 개발 및 도시재생에 있어 중요한 위치로 주목받고 있다. 하지만 초고층 주상복합의 경우 친환경계획요소에 대한 정리와 실제 거주자들을 대상으로 한 만족도에 관한 연구는 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 초고층 친환경계획요소를 단지, 건물내부, 설비 및 유지관리로 구분하여 전문가를 대상으로 중요도 거주자를 만족도를 평가하였다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 보다 다양한 관점에서 평가할 수 있는 M-IPA를 이용하여 초고층 복합주거 친환경 계획요소의 개선방안 및 시사점을 도출하고자 한다. 그 결과 첫째, 단지 부문은 복합적 토지이용, 친환경 교통은 유지관리를 지속해야 할 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 건물내부 부문은 생태적 단지환경, 실내공기환경이 개선이 시급한 것으로 나타났고, 실내온열환경은 유지관리를 지속해야 하는 것으로 판단되었다. 마지막으로 설비/유지관리는 재료 및 설비와 에너지 관리 지표가 개선이 시급한 것으로 나타났다.

IoT 기반 실내 공기질 모니터링 시스템 (Indoor Air Quality Monitoring Systems in the IoT Environment)

  • 최근 전 세계적으로 인류의 건강을 위협하는 요소로 대기오염이 대두되고 있는 가운데 세계보건기구(WHO : World Health Organization)의 발표에 의하면 대기오염으로 인해 사람의 건강을 해친다고 발표했으며, 서울시의 '2011~2014년 7월 다중이용시설 실내 공기 질 측정 결과'에 의하면 대부분의 다중이용시설에서 실내공기오염도 기준을 위반한 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 실내에서 발생하는 대기오염은 폐 질환, 천식, 기관지염 등의 질병을 유발하며 본 논문에서는 이와 관련하여 환경센서를 이용하여 실내공기질을 측정하고, 측정된 데이터를 분석하여 환기 개선에 필요한 액츄에이터 신호를 생성하고 실시간으로 실내 공기 질 측정 모니터링 시스템을 구현하여, 우리 생활에서 대기오염을 자율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 한다.
