lndigo Carmine의 표면증강라만스펙트럼에 관한 연구 (Study on Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering of Indigo Carmine)

  • 이 연구에서는 실버 미러 기판의 표면 강화 실험을 수행하여 Tollen의 방법과 ${\gamma}$-선 조사 방법으로 만든 은 표면의 특성을 확인했다. 인디고 카민의 표면 강화 효과는 은 거울 및 은 졸 표면에 의해 분석되었다. SERS 스펙트럼에 나타난 진동 모드는 HyperChem프로그램의 PM3 방법에서 문헌 및 반 경험적 계산에 근거하여 분석하였다. Indigo carmine의 흡착 배향은 표면 선택 규칙을 사용하여 분석해 본 결과 은 표면에 수직으로 약간 기운 형태로 흡착되었음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 모소낭은 주로 청소년기와 청년기의 남성에서 천미부에 호발하는 질환으로 알려져 있으나 아직 원인이 확실하지 않고 치료 방법 또한 여전히 논란이 있다. 우리나라에서는 서구에 비해 모소낭의 유병률이 낮으며, 단순 농양으로 오진되기 쉽다. 모소낭으로 진단되었을 때, 치료의 원칙은 잔존 모소낭을 남기지 않고 절제를 시행하는 것이다. 이에 저자들은 indigo-carmine 염색 시약을 이용한 모소낭의 광범위 절제술의 과정을 소개하고자 한다.

  • The microsurface adsorption - spectral correction (MSASC) technique has been applied to the interaction of indigo carmine (IC) with cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB). The aggregation of IC on CTAB obeys Langmuir isothermal adsorption. The results show that both the monomer complex $IC{\cdot}CTAB$ and the micellar complex $(IC{\cdot}CTAB)_{78}$ were formed. The binding constant of the monomer complex was calculated to be $K_{IC{\cdot}CTAB}$ = 2.20 ${\times}10^5L{\cdot}mol^{-1}$, and the molar absorptivity of the micellar complex was calculated to be ${\varepsilon}_{(IC{\cdot}CTAB)78}\;^{560nm}$ = 8.58 ${\times}10^5L{\cdot}mol^{-1}{\cdot}cm^{-1}$. The aggregation was applied to the determination of cationic surfactant in wastewater.

Bimetallic Co/Zn-ZIF as an Efficient Photocatalyst for Degradation of Indigo Carmine

  • Cobalt-incorporated zeolitic imidazolate framework ZIF-8 was synthesized by a simple one-pot synthesis method at room temperature. Powder X-ray diffraction patterns and energy dispersive X-ray spectrum confirmed the formation of the bimetallic Co/Zn-ZIF structure. UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectra revealed that the bimetallic ZIF had a lower HOMO-LUMO gap compared with ZIF-8 due to the charge transfer process from organic ligands to cobalt centers. A hydrolytic stability test showed that Co/Zn-ZIF is very robust in aqueous solution - the most important criterion for any material to be applied in photodegradation. The photocatalytic efficiency of the synthesized samples was investigated over the Indigo Carmine (IC) dye degradation under solar simulated irradiation. Cobalt incorporated ZIF-8 exhibited high efficiency over a wide range of pH and initial concentration. The degradation followed through three distinct stages: a slow initial stage, followed by an accelerated stage and completed with a decelerated stage. Moreover, the photocatalytic performance of the synthesized samples was highly improved in alkaline environment rather than in acidic or neutral environments, which may have been because in high pH medium, the increased concentration of hydroxyl ion facilitated the formation of hydroxyl radicals, a reactive species responsible for the breaking of the Indigo Carmine structure. Thus, Co/Zn-ZIF is a promising and green material for solving the environmental pollution caused by textile industries.

단기 측정용 오존 간이 측정기의 실험 챔버 내에서 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance of a Short Term Ozone Passive Sampler in Experimental Chamber)

  • Passive sampler is a simple and cost-effective measuring equipment for ambient and indoor air pollution. We studied the performance of a short term (1 hour mean concentration) ozone passive sampler which was coated with a colorant (indigo carmine) to a filter substrate. Acetone and sulfamic acid added ozone passive sampler was investigated to measure short term mean ozone concentration. Ozone response and interference of criteria air pollutant($SO_2,\;NO_2$, CO) on a short term ozone passive sampler was tested through experimental chamber. The results show sulfamic acid added passive ozone sampler have good response in ozone exposure. Interference of $NO_2$ gas is larger than other two criteria gases.

  • Six types of ozone passive samplers were fabricated with three different filter substrates and two colorants, and tested for their feasibility on atmospheric monitoring. These passive samplers are based on a colorant which fades (indigo carmine and ChromAir (K&M environmental Inc.)) or produces color (mixture of 3-methyl-2-benzothiazolinone acetone azine and 2-phenylphenol colorant) upon reaction with ozone, whose concentration can be determined by reflectance measurement of the color change. Three filters, namely Whatman No.1 paper, SG81 chromatography paper and Silica Gel coated on polyester (TLC Plates), were prepared and coated with two colorants. The response of these passive samplers in ozone chamber were tested and compared with ChromAir (K&M environmental Inc.) passive sampler. The response of Silica Gel filter impregnated with indigo carmine was the best at the constant concentration exposure.

합성 금속-유기 골격체 NH2-MIL-101(Fe)를 이용한 염료의 흡착 및 광분해 제거 (Adsorption and Photocatalytic Degradation of Dyes Using Synthesized Metal-Organic Framework NH2-MIL-101(Fe))

  • In this study, a metal-organic framework (MOF) material $NH_2$-MIL-101(Fe) was synthesized using the solvothermal method, and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), UV-visible spectrophotometry, field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and surface area measurements. The XRD pattern of the synthesized $NH_2$-MIL-101(Fe) was similar to the previously reported patterns of MIL-101 type materials, which indicated the successful synthesis of $NH_2$-MIL-101(Fe). The FT-IR spectrum showed the molecular structure and functional groups of the synthesized $NH_2$-MIL-101(Fe). The UV-visible absorbance spectrum indicated that the synthesized material could be activated as a photocatalyst under visible light irradiation. FE-SEM and TEM images showed the formation of hexagonal microspindle structures in the synthesized $NH_2$-MIL-101(Fe). Furthermore, the EDS spectrum indicated that the synthesized material consisted of Fe, N, O, and C elements. The synthesized $NH_2$-MIL-101(Fe) was then employed as an adsorbent and photocatalyst for the removal of Indigo carmine and Rhodamine B from aqueous solutions. The initial 30 min of adsorption for Indigo carmine and Rhodamine B without light irradiation achieved removal efficiencies of 83.6% and 70.7%, respectively. The removal efficiencies thereafter gradually increased with visible light irradiation for 180 min, and the overall removal efficiencies for Indigo carmine and Rhodamine B were 94.2% and 83.5%, respectively. These results indicate that the synthesized MOF material can be effectively applied as an adsorbent and photocatalyst for the removal of dyes.

  • $SnO_2$가 도핑된 $TiO_2$ 분말을 tin (IV) bis(acetylacetonate) dichloride와 titanium diisopropoxide bis(acetylacetonate)를 출발물질로, 유기염료인 quinacridone을 첨가하여 합성하였다. 반응 전후 염료의 구조를 FT-IR로 관찰하였고, 입자의 모양과 형태 및 결정의 구조는 FE-SEM과 XRD 분석기로 알아보았다. 환경오염물질로 유기염료인 indigo carmine을 선택하여 관찰한결과, 아나타제 구조를 갖는 quinacridone이 첨가된 분말을 합성하여, 가시광선 영역에서 광분해 효과를 관찰할 수 있었다.

  • $SnO_{2}$가 도핑된 아나타제형의 $TiO_{2}$ 분말을 tin (IV) bis (acetylacetonate) dichloride와 titanium diisopropoxide bis (acetyl- acetonate)를 출발물질로, polyethylene glycol (PEG)을 첨가하여 합성하였다. 반응과정에 대한 구조변화를 FT-IR로 추적하였고, 입자의 모양과 형태 및 결정의 구조는 FE-SEM과 XRD 분석기로 관찰하였다. 합성된 분말의 광촉매 효과는 환경오염물질로 indigo carmine (IC)을 선택하여 UV-visible 스펙트라로 관찰하였다.

단백질과 식용색소간의 상호작용에 관한 연구 III (Studies on the Interaction of Edible Dyes with Protein III)

  • Binding parameters of some edible dyes with bovine serum albumin were determined at pH 7.4 buffer solution. The edible dyes used were fast green, brilliant blue FCF, indigo carmine and allura red AC, and the final concentrations of each dyes were $3{\sim}9{\times}10^{-6}M$, $6{\times}10^{-6}M$, $3{\times}10^{-5}M$ and $3{\times}10^{-5}M$, respectively. The final concentrations of bovine serum albumin were $1{\sim}7{\times}10^{-5}M$. The values of binding free energy between edible dye and protein were ranged from -6,024 to -6,800 cal/mole.
