국가 연구개발(R&D) 투자의 성과 측정 방법 연구 (A Study on the Performance Measurement Method for National Research and Development Projects)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국가 연구개발(R&D) 성과측정지표의 개선안을 새로운 관점을 통해 제시하는 것이다. 정부는 R&D 패러다임을 기존의 추격형에서 선도형으로 전환하고자 하고 있다. 이에 기존 성과평가의 문제점을 살펴보고 기존 문헌 연구를 통해 국내외 연구기관 정부기관의 성과 평가안을 살펴보았다. 특히 국내외적으로 창조 혁신지표군을 참조하였고 국가혁신 및 R&D 생태계라는 개념에 주목하였다. 이론 체계로 D'Aveni의 혁신경쟁이론(Hypercompetition theory)을 차용하여 새로운 성과평가지표를 제시하였으며 국내 R&D 성과평가 전문가를 대상으로 AHP 분석을 수행하였다. 지표별 우선순위 결과 및 의미는 본문에서 상세히 밝히고 있다. 본 연구는 새로운 관점의 이론적 틀을 바탕으로 창조 혁신지표군을 참조하여 국가 R&D 성과지표군을 제안하였고 실증적 검증을 거쳐 지표별 우선순위를 제시했다는 점에서 이론적 그리고 실무적으로 공헌하고 있다.

의류매장에서 판매자의 감성 및 사회 네트워크가 신뢰와 영업성과에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Seller's Emotional Index and Social Network on Sales Performance in Clothing Shop)

  • 본 연구는 감성지능이론, 사회적 관계이론에 기반을 두고, 의류매장에서 판매자의 감성지능, 사회 네트워크, 그리고 고객에 대한 신뢰가 영업성과에 미치는 영향을 계량적으로 탐색하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구의 분석 결과는 의류매장에서 판매원의 감성지능이 높을수록 고객에 대한 지식기반인 인지적 신뢰와 감정기반인 감성적 신뢰가 높아져, 고객에 대한 인지적 신뢰는 판매원의 영업성과를 향상시키고 있지만, 고객에 대한 감성적 신뢰는 영업성과에 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 판매원의 감성지능이 높을수록 판매원과 고객 간 강한 사회 네트워크를 형성하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 의류매장의 판매원과 고객간 사회 네트워크는 인지적 신뢰와 감성적 신뢰에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대했지만, 인지적 신뢰에는 부정적 영향을 미치고, 감성적 신뢰에는 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 분석결과를 기반으로 의류 영업매장 관리자에게 필요한 매장 판매원의 감성지능 향상을 위한 각종 교육 훈련이 필요함을 알 수 있다.

Bending analysis of functionally graded plates using new eight-unknown higher order shear deformation theory

  • In this paper a new eight-unknown higher order shear deformation theory is proposed for functionally graded (FG) material plates. The theory based on full twelve-unknown higher order shear deformation theory, simultaneously satisfy zeros transverse stresses at top and bottom surface of FG plates. Equations of motion are derived from principle of virtual displacement. Exact closed-form solutions are obtained for simply supported rectangular FG plates under uniform loading. The accuracy of present numerical results has been verified by comparing it with generalized shear deformation theory. The effect of power law index of functionally graded material, side-to-thickness ratio, and aspect ratio on static behavior of FG plates is investigated.

An inverse hyperbolic theory for FG beams resting on Winkler-Pasternak elastic foundation

  • Bending, buckling and free vibration responses of functionally graded (FG) higher-order beams resting on two parameter (Winkler-Pasternak) elastic foundation are studied using a new inverse hyperbolic beam theory. The material properties of the beam are graded along the thickness direction according to the power-law distribution. In the present theory, the axial displacement accounts for an inverse hyperbolic distribution, and the transverse shear stress satisfies the traction-free boundary conditions on the top and bottom surfaces of the beams. Hamilton's principle is employed to derive the governing equations of motion. Navier type analytical solutions are obtained for the bending, bucking and vibration problems. Numerical results are obtained to investigate the effects of power-law index, length-to-thickness ratio and foundation parameter on the displacements, stresses, critical buckling loads and frequencies. Numerical results by using parabolic beam theory of Reddy and first-order beam theory of Timoshenko are specially generated for comparison of present results and found in excellent agreement with each other.

Thermal buckling of functionally graded plates using a n-order four variable refined theory

  • This paper presents a simple n-order four variable refined theory for buckling analysis of functionally graded plates. By dividing the transverse displacement into bending and shear parts, the number of unknowns and governing equations of the present theory is reduced, and hence, makes it simple to use. The present theory is variationally consistent, uses the n-order polynomial term to represent the displacement field, does not require shear correction factor, and eliminates the shear stresses at the top and bottom surfaces. A power law distribution is used to describe the variation of volume fraction of material compositions. Equilibrium and stability equations are derived based on the present n-order refined theory. The non-linear governing equations are solved for plates subjected to simply supported boundary conditions. The thermal loads are assumed to be uniform, linear and non-linear distribution through-the-thickness. The effects of aspect and thickness ratios, gradient index, on the critical buckling are all discussed.

On static stability of electro-magnetically affected smart magneto-electro-elastic nanoplates

  • This article represents a quasi-3D theory for the buckling investigation of magneto-electro-elastic functionally graded (MEE-FG) nanoplates. All the effects of shear deformation and thickness stretching are considered within the presented theory. Magneto-electro-elastic material properties are considered to be graded in thickness direction employing power-law distribution. Eringen's nonlocal elasticity theory is exploited to describe the size dependency of such nanoplates. Using Hamilton's principle, the nonlocal governing equations based on quasi-3D plate theory are obtained for the buckling analysis of MEE-FG nanoplates including size effect and they are solved applying analytical solution. It is found that magnetic potential, electric voltage, boundary conditions, nonlocal parameter, power-law index and plate geometrical parameters have significant effects on critical buckling loads of MEE-FG nanoscale plates.

A unified consistent couple stress beam theory for functionally graded microscale beams

  • Based on the consistent couple stress theory (CCST), we develop a unified formulation for analyzing the static bending and free vibration behaviors of functionally graded (FG) microscale beams (MBs). The strong forms of the CCST-based Euler-Bernoulli, Timoshenko, and Reddy beam theories, as well as the CCST-based sinusoidal, exponential, and hyperbolic shear deformation beam theories, can be obtained by assigning some specific shape functions of the shear deformations varying through the thickness direction of the FGMBs in the unified formulation. The above theories are thus included as special cases of the unified CCST. A comparative study between the results obtained using a variety of CCST-based beam theories and those obtained using their modified couple stress theory-based counterparts is carried out. The impacts of some essential factors on the deformation, stress, and natural frequency parameters of the FGMBs are examined, including the material length-scale parameter, the aspect ratio, and the material-property gradient index.

Application of the L-index to the Delineation of Market Areas of Retail Businesses

  • As delineating market areas of retail businesses has become an interesting topic in marketing field, Lee and Lee recently suggested a noteworthy method, which applied the hydrological analysis of geographical information system (GIS), based on Christaller's central place theory. They used a digital elevation model (DEM) which inverted the kernel density of retail businesses, which was measured by using bandwidths of pre-determined 500, 1000 and 5000 m, respectively. In fact, their method is not a fully data-based approach in that they used pre-determined kernel bandwidths, however, this paper has been planned to improve Lee and Lee's method by using a kind of data-based approach of the L-index that describes clustering level of point feature distribution. The case study is implemented to automobile-related retail businesses in Seoul, Korea with selected Kernel bandwidths, 1211.5, 2120.2 and 7067.2 m from L-index analysis. Subsequently, the kernel density is measured, the density DEM is created by inverting it, and boundaries of market areas are extracted. Following the study, analysis results are summarized as follows. Firstly, the L-index can be a useful tool to complement the Lee and Lee's market area analysis method. At next, the kernel bandwidths, pre-determined by Lee and Lee, cannot be uniformly applied to all kinds of retail businesses. Lastly, the L-index method can be useful for analyzing the space structure of market areas of retail businesses, based on Christaller's central place theory.

공공도서관 서비스가 이용자의 삶의 질에 미치는 영향력에 대한 인식 조사 연구 (A Study of the Recognition Regarding the Influence of Public Library Service to Quality of Life)

  • 삶의 질 측정은 행정, 경제, 사회 분야에서 연구를 진행해 온 개념이며, 정부의 업무 성과를 측정하는 기준이 되기도 한다. 따라서 최근에는 국가적으로나 국제적으로 전반적인 발전 정도를 반영하기 위해 '삶의 질(QoL: Quality of Life) 지표'를 사용하는 추세이다. 삶의 질 지표를 활용한 국가 정책 및 서비스의 효과 측정은 '상향확산이론(bottom-up spillover theory)'과 결합하여 더욱 설득력을 가지게 된다. 본 연구는 통계청에서 사용하는 객관적인 삶의 질 측정 지표인 "국민 삶의 질 지표"를 적용하여 도서관 서비스가 실제로 삶의 질 범주에 영향력이 있다고 인식하는지에 대한 정도를 조사하고, 나아가 사서가 인식하는 삶의 질 향상 정도와 일반 이용자가 인식하는 삶의 질 향상 정도의 차이가 있는지 알아보았다. 그 결과 '시간 부족에 대한 인식'이 가장 높은 지표로 나타났고, '미세먼지 농도'가 가장 낮은 지표로 나타났다. 사서와 이용자 간의 인식 차이는 13개 지표에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으며, 성별에 따른 인식 차이는 5개 지표, 연령에 따른 인식 차이는 23개, 거주지에 따른 차이는 14개, 도서관 방문 횟수에 따른 차이는 9개 지표로 나타났다.
