This paper proposes the compliance collaboration index(CCI) which can be useful to measure the level of supply chain's compliance collaboration quantitatively. It can be shown that the proposed index is quite flexible when applied in real situations at the request of the index user. For instance, even if only one company of many companies in trade supply chain to be tested through the AEO certification test is not satisfied the required specification. the index is designed in such a way that the score can't be higher than a certain predetermined value. The proposed CCI can be used as the guidance for a trade company's collaboration process control strategy to increase the efficiency of compliance improvement activity. In this paper, we use the Analysis Hierarchy Process(AHP) which is one of the methods recommended by ISO/ICE as a measurement of weight to be assigned to the relevant parameters considered in the CCI.

A study on phytoplankton community was carried out from June, 1992 to May, 1993 at selected stations in Hoedong Reservoir. The phytoplankton are identified as 176 taxa including 5 phylum, 67 genera. The important species in this reservoir were Asterionella formosa, C meneghiniana, Dictyosphaerium plilchellum, Fragilaria crotonensis, Melosira distans, M grantulata, M. granulata var. angustissima, M. granulate var. angntissima f. spirdis, Micractinium pussillum, Microcystis aeruginosa, Pundorina morn, Pediastrum boryanum, P. duplex, Peridinium sp., Scenedesmus quadriauda, Synedra acus, S. rumpens and S. ulna. The causative species of water bloom were identified as Microcystis aeruginsa, Trahellomonas hispida, Ceratium hirwdinella, Peridinium sp., Melosira italica, Staurastrum dorsidentiferum var. onatum in the area. During the study periods standing crcps of phytoplankton were maximum in August, 1992 and minimum in December 1992. The species dominance index and diversity index were ranged 24.7-99.9, 0.001-3.06, respectively. The main purpose of this study is to develop air transportation cultural index which is able to estimate the level of them. Generally Speaking, air transportation cultural, a compound word of 'air transportation' and 'culture', is a substantial entity consisting knowledge, art, morality, legality, cultivation, customs, and etc, which comes from aircraft operation sector, airport operation/management sector and user sector. They are classified in a primary scope, as aircraft operation sector relating to flight operation, airport operation/management sector and user sector. The research and analysis were taken approximately 4 months, from June 2004 to October 2004. To evaluate the index, the detailed item for three categories were chosen and quantified. The grades for each items were induced from calculation formula for air transportation cultural index by applying weight values. The final grade of Korea's air transportation cultural index recorded 63.19 points.

In this study, we examined chewing frequency, eating rates, and food consumption volume according to the body mass index of male and female college students. Twenty-five male college students were divided into a normal weight male group (<23 body mass index, n=14) and an obese male group (${\geq}23$ body mass index, n=11). Twenty-five female college students were divided into a normal weight female group (<23 body mass index, n=21) and an obese female group (${\geq}23$ body mass index, n=4). Subjects were provided with abundant fried rice and allowed to consume it at their own pace. Chewing frequency, total mealtime, rate of eating, consumption volume, calorie intake, and the amount of one bite were measured. There were no significant differences in chewing frequency, total mealtime, rate of eating, consumption volume, calorie intake, and the amount of one bite between the normal and obese male groups. There were also no significant differences in chewing frequency, consumption volume, calorie intake, and the amount of one bite between the normal and obese female groups. However, the obese female group had a significantly shorter mealtime and significantly higher eating rate compared with the normal group. Thus, our study suggests that females who eat a meal for a longer time may reduce their food intake, consequently inducing body weight loss.

DREAM-S는 ATM 네트워크용 교환 시스템에서 응용 프로그램들의 교환기 운용 데이터에 대한 실시간 처리 요구를 지원하기 위한 분산 주기억장치 상주 데이터베이스 시스템(Main Memory Database Systems)이다. DREAM-S는 클라이언트-서버 구조를 가지면서 서버 프로세서에만 디스크가 연결되어 있으며, 대량의 데이터로부터 원하는 데이터를 신속히 검색하기 위하여 T- Tree 색인 구조를 제공한다. 본 논문에서논 DREAM-S에서 T- Tree 색인 구조에 대한 회복 기법를 제안한다. 주기억장치 상주 데이터베이스는 디스크 상주 데이터베이스 보다 뛰어난 성능을 제공하지만 시스템 고장 시(정전 등과 같은 오류) 주기억장치에 저장된 모든 데이터(릴레이션과 색인 구조)가 파손될 수 있다. 따라서 고장 후 파손된 주기억장치 데이터베이스를 신속히 정상 데이터베이스 상태로 회복하는 회복 기법이 필수적이다. 제안된 회복 기법에서는 T-Tree 색인 구조를 각 프로세서의 주기억장치에만 유지하도록 함으로서 ATM 교환기 시스템의 성능에서 병복 현상을 일으킬 수 있는 서버 프로세서의 디스크 출입 오버헤드를 줄인다. 또한, 시스템 고장 후 서버와 모든 클라이언트 시스템들이 병렬 처리 방식으로 각자의 T- Tree(들)를 회복하도룩 함으로서 클라이언트 개수가 많은 경우에도 신속한 회복이 가능하도록 하였다.

Objectives: To evaluate the clinical use of Kupperman's Index, Menopausespecific quality of life questionnaire(MENQOL), Menopause Rating Scale(MRS) by comparison with the Subjective measures of hot flush. Methods: The participants were 107 women (45-60 yr) who were not currently on hormone therapy, and had reached hot flash scores of 10 or higher. The evaluating indexes of this trial are hot flush score, hot flush VAS, Hot flush consistence time, sweating VAS, Kupperman`s Index, Menopause-specific quality of life questionnaire (MENQOL), Menopause Rating Scale(MRS). Results: 1. The hot flush score, hot flush VAS, sweating VAS were significantly correlated with each other, but the Hot flush consistence time with no special relationship was found on Subjective measures of hot flush 2. The Kupperman's Index, Menopause-specific quality of life questionnaire (MENQOL) and Menopause Rating Scale(MRS) were significantly correlated with each other. 3. There was significant correlation between Subjective measures of hot flush and Menopause-specific quality of life questionnaire(MENQOL), Thus Menopausespecific quality of life questionnaire(MENQOL) is considered the most suitable on hot flush related research. Conclusions: There was significant correlation between Subjective measures of hot flush and Menopausal scale, thus the use of various indicators are needed for the assessment of climacteric symptoms.

The compression index, $C'_c$ and the swelling index, $C'_s$ which are obtained from the e-log p curve of the consolidation test, are used to calculate the consolidation settlement. In this research, $C'_c$ and the two new methods of $C'_s$ i.e. $C'_{s1}$, $C'_{sm}$ for remolded clays were examined with the $({\omega}_0-{\omega}_p)$ and $(e_0-e_p)$ which are satisfied with the condition and the type of soil. Moreover, the relationships of $C'_{s1}$, and $C'_{sm}$ versus $C'_c$ were obtained.

This study examines the international competitiveness of the Korean information and telecommunication industry by using competitiveness index such as the RCA index, the Trade Specialization index, and the Total Factor Productivity. The results of this study show that the industry's competitiveness slightly decreases since 1995, but not its the total factor productivity. In conclusion, the industry has kept the competitiveness over all. Therefore, to keep or improve the competitiveness continuously, the industry is required the government's intensive investment and administrative support. And the industry should bring up by venture and small-medium-size-enterprises to have great economic impacts on other industries. Also, the increasing production and export promoting policy will be enhance the industry and improve nation's balance of trade.

The usual procedure for the optimal design of ship's steering system is to minimize a chosen quadratic performance index, which isdetermined from the view point of economic run. However, the optimal control synthesized in such a straightforward fashion is unsatisfactory because ship's parameters differ from their nominal values due to uncertainties and errors in measurement and/or simplifications in mathematical modelling, and/or the variation of the ship's loading condition. In an attempt to resolve this difficulty, this paper presents a method for designing a low sensitive optimal steering system in a way as to minimize not only given performance index but also the sensitivity of the performance index and trajectory sensitivity. It is also shown that the optimal control so obtained will result in a system whose performance index and transient response are low sensitive to small varation in ship's time constant.

XML 문서에 대한 포함질의는 XML의 핵심 질의 중의 하나이다. 따라서, XML 데이터를 지원하는 DBMS에서 이런 유형의 질의를 효과적으로 처리하는 것은 매우 중요한 문제이다. 최근 들어, 객체관계형 DBMS에 XML 데이터를 저장하려는 많은 노력들이 시도되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 객체관계형 DBMS에 BLOB 형태로 저장된 XML 데이터를 대상으로 포함질의를 효과적으로 처리하기 위한 확장형 인덱스를 제시한다. 즉, 객체관계형 DBMS의 확장성을 이용해서 포함질의 처리를 위한 효과적으로 처리하는 확장형 인덱스의 구현과 이 인덱스의 사용 방법을 기술한다.
