유리 개방형 균일 B 스플라인 곡선을 이용한 블록 효과 감소 (Reduction of Blocking Effect using a Rational Open Uniform B-Spline Curve)

  • 본 논문에서는 유리 B 스플라인 곡선을 이용한 새로운 블록 효과 감소 방법을 제안한다. 블록 효과는 매우 낮은 비트율로 블록 기반 부호화 방식을 수행할 때 복원 영상에서 나타나는 블록 형태의 왜곡을 의미한 다 제안된 기법에서는 컴퓨터 그래픽스 분야에서 제어점을 근사하는 부드러운 곡선을 생성하기 위해 사용되는 유리 B 스플라인 곡선을 이용하여 블록 효과를 감소시킨다 즉 블록 경계 영역의 화소들을 제어점으로 사용하며, 처리될 화소와 블록 경계간의 거리에 따라 가중치를 차등적으로 설정함으로써 블록 효과가 효율적으로 감소되도록 한다. 모의 실험은 제안된 방법이 기존 방법들에 비해 우수한 블록효과 감소 성능을 가지는 것을 나타낸다.

Effect of Kettle Bell Swing Exercise on the Body Composition and Lower Limb Muscular Activity

  • Purpose: This study examined the effect of Kettle bell swing exercise on the body composition and lower limb muscular activity. Methods: As subjects, 26 normal adults in their twenties were divided randomly into the experiment group (n=13), in which Kettle bell exercise was applied, and the control group (n=13), in which bar exercise was applied. Both groups participated in the interventions for eight weeks with three sessions per week. Each group was assessed before training and four and eight weeks into the training to determine the effects of training intervention within and between the groups. The body composition was measured with a body composition analyzer. The changes in muscle activity were measured with a surface electromyography. An independent t-test was conducted to test the significance between the groups according to the measurement points and Repeated measured ANOVA was performed to compare the groups according to the periods with the statistical significance level set to ${\alpha}=0.05$. Results: No significant changes to the main effects of time and the interactions of time according to the measurement points were observed in the Kettle bell and control groups in the body composition (p>0.05). The muscular activity of both muscles were significantly different between the Kettle bell and control groups according to the measurement points with the exception of the right lateral gastrocnemius muscle (p<0.05). Conclusion: These findings suggest that Kettle bell swing exercise can have positive effects on the development of lower limb muscles.

A Novel Hitting Frequency Point Collision Avoidance Method for Wireless Dual-Channel Networks

  • In dual-channel networks (DCNs), all frequency hopping (FH) sequences used for data channels are chosen from the original FH sequence used for the control channel by shifting different initial phases. As the number of data channels increases, the hitting frequency point problem becomes considerably serious because DCNs is non-orthogonal synchronization network and FH sequences are non-orthogonal. The increasing severity of the hitting frequency point problem consequently reduces the resource utilization efficiency. To solve this problem, we propose a novel hitting frequency point collision avoidance method, which consists of a sequence-selection strategy called sliding correlation (SC) and a collision avoidance strategy called keeping silent on hitting frequency point (KSHF). SC is used to find the optimal phase-shifted FH sequence with the minimum number of hitting frequency points for a new data channel. The hitting frequency points and their locations in this optimal sequence are also derived for KSHF according to SC strategy. In KSHF, the transceivers transmit or receive symbol information not on the hitting frequency point, but on the next frequency point during the next FH period. Analytical and simulation results demonstrate that unlike the traditional method, the proposed method can effectively reduce the number of hitting frequency points and improve the efficiency of the code resource utilization.

적응격자계를 이용한 경계층의 확산제어천이 예측 (Prediction of the Diffusion Controlled Boundary Layer Transition with an Adaptive Grid)

  • Numerical prediction of the diffusion controlled transition in a turbine gas pass is important because it can change the local heat transfer rate over a turbine blade as much as three times. In this study, the gas flow over turbine blade is simplified to the flat plate boundary layer, and an adaptive grid scheme redistributing grid points within the computation domain is proposed with a great emphasis on the construction of the grid control function. The function is sensitized to the second invariant of the mean strain tensor, its spatial gradient, and the interaction of pressure gradient and flow deformation. The transition process is assumed to be described with a κ-ε turbulence model. An elliptic solver is employed to integrate governing equations. Numerical results show that the proposed adaptive grid scheme is very effective in obtaining grid independent numerical solution with a very low grid number. It is expected that present scheme is helpful in predicting actual flow within a turbine to improve computation efficiency.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the technique of energy recovery and energy saving by using the optimization of heat exchanger network synthesis. This article proposes a new method of determining the optimal target of a heat exchanger network synthesis problem of which data feature multiple pinch points. The system separation method we suggest here is to subdivide the original system into independent subsystems with one pinch point. The optimal cost target was evaluated and the original pinch rules at each subsystem were employed. The software developed in this study was applied to the Alko prosess, which is an alcohol production process, for the synthesis of heat exchanger network. It was possible to save about 15% of the total annual cost.

수협중앙회 이사회제도에 대한 수용자 태도 분석 (Analysis of Acceptors′ Attitudes toward the Board of Directors System of the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives(NFFC))

  • This paper aims to understand the points which the Board of Directors of the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives System has proposed, and to find some improvement. This Fisheries Cooperatives previously had a single board system operating two small board rooms which became independent within the two sectors of credit and .provision in addition to the existing board of directors. This is a very unique board of directors system which is not found in cooperatives in our country nor in the business world. This change of the board of directors of the Fisheries Cooperatives is ascribed to the reorganization of the system into a completely independent division system, which operates business separately based on each sector as opposed to the previous multiple cooperatives system. However, a plural board of directors system does contribute to the improvement of managerial efficiency by strengthening the self-control of each independent business section, but deepens conflicts between its internal organizations, and brings about a reverse function which might deteriorate both the controlling power of a systematic organization and the coordinating power between sectors. This paper made an analysis of acceptors' attitudes toward the board of directors of the fisheries cooperatives system by regulating all the staff directly related to the operation of the board of directors of the fisheries cooperatives system as a group of acceptors and by selecting one hundred and fifty persons among the staff as a sample. The inquiry into acceptors' attitudes was made using questionaries, and the data for this investigation was processed and analyzed using a statistical method. The contents of this paper are composed of I. an introduction, II. the findings of the questionary investigation, III. the overall opinion for the improvement of the board of directors system, and IV. a summary and conclusion.

다종 공간정보로부터 취득한 지상기준점을 활용한 UAV 영상의 3차원 위치 정확도 비교 분석 (Three-Dimensional Positional Accuracy Analysis of UAV Imagery Using Ground Control Points Acquired from Multisource Geospatial Data)

  • UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) 플랫폼은 소규모 지역의 영상을 저비용으로 신속하게 취득이 가능하다는 장점이 있어 재난모니터링과 스마트시티 분야에 널리 활용되고 있다. UAV 기반 정사영상 및 DSM (Digital Surface Model) 제작 시 cm 급 정확도를 확보하기 위하여 UAV 영상의 위치보정을 위한 지상기준점(Ground Control Points, GCP)이 필수적이다. 하지만, 현장 GCP 취득을 위한 현장방문, 대공표지 설치에는 상당한 인력과 시간이 소요된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 GCP 현장 취득을 대체하기 위한 방법으로 사전에 구축되어 활용가능한 세 가지 공간정보를 GCP로 이용하는 방법을 제시하였다. 연구에 사용한 세 가지 공간정보는 첫째, 25 cm 급 정사영상과 1:1000 수치지형도 기반 DEM (Digital Elevation Model), 둘째, 모바일매핑시스템(Mobile Mapping System, MMS)으로 취득한 점군 데이터, 셋째, MMS 데이터와 UAV 데이터를 융합하여 만든 하이브리드 점군 데이터이다. 세 가지 공간정보로부터 취득한 GCP를 이용하여 각각에 대하여 UAV 정사영상과 DSM (Digital Surface Model, DSM)을 생성하였다. 생성된 3가지 결과를 현장 RTK-GNSS 측량으로 취득한 검사점과 비교하여 3차원 위치 정확도평가를 진행하였다. 실험결과, 세 번째 경우인 MMS와 UAV를 융합한 하이브리드 점군 데이터를 GCP로 사용하였을 때, UAV 정사영상과 DSM의 최종 정확도가 수평방향의 RMSE는 8.9 cm, 수직방향의 RMSE는 24.5 cm로 가장 높게 나타났다. 또한, 현장 측량을 대체하기 위해 활용한 공간정보로부터 취득한 GCP의 분포는 수평 위치 정확도 보다 수직 위치 정확도에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

  • 본(本) 연구(硏究)에서는 해석적(解析的) 사진측량(寫眞測量)에서 사용(使用)되고 있는 번들조정기법을 사용(使用)하여 지상사진(地上寫眞)에 대한 블록조정을 실시하고, 대상물에 대한 3차원(次元) 좌표(座標)의 정확도(正確度)의 특성(特性)을 분석(分析)하였다. 다양한 기준점(基準點) 배치(配置) 및 형태(形態)를 적용(適用)하여 최적(最適) 기준점(基準點) 형태(形態) 및 배치(配置)를 선정(選定)하였으며, 동일대상(同一對象) 지역(地域)에 대하여 블록조정에 의한 정확도(正確度)와 단(單)모델조정에 의한 정확도를 비교하고 또다른 블록정기법인 독립모델법과도 정확도를 비교하였다. 또한 적절한 정오차(定誤差) 모델을 선정(選定)하여 부가매개변수(附加媒介變數)에 의한 번들블럭조정의 정확도를 향상(向上)을 해석(解析)하기 위해, 근거리(近距離) 사진측량(寫眞測量)에 의한 블럭을 형성(形成)하고, 적절한 기준점 형태 및 배치에 따른 번들블럭조정을 실시(實施)함으로써 효과적인 정확도 향상 방법을 제시(提示)할 수 있었다.

수지침요법이 중학생의 복통 완화에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Hand Acupuncture for Relieving Abdominal Pain in the Middle School Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of hand acupuncture on relieving of abdominal pain. Method: Fifty-five middle school students who complained abdominal pain were selected as subjects. There were 35 students in the experimental group while 20 students were in the control group. Convenience assignment was used. The experimental group received hand acupuncture treatment which was to puncture corresponding points (epigastric pain A8, A12, A16, K9, F4, E42; lower abdominal pain A1, A4, A6, A8, J1, H2) on both the palm and the back of a hand with disposable acupuncture needles, and then to remove them after a 20-30min. recess during the subjects was in supine position on a bed. Result: Degree of subjective pain decreased statistically in the experimental as compared to the control group. No statistical significant differences were found in objective pain and comfort between experimental and control group. Conclusion: These findings indicate that hand acupuncture is an effective method for reducing abdominal pain. Therefore, hand acupuncture could be considered as an independent nursing intervention for abdominal pain reduction.

이압요법이 알레르기 비염 환자의 증상 및 비염 관련 삶의 질에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Auricular Acupressure on Symptoms and Quality of Life of Patients with Allergic Rhinitis)

  • Purpose: To examine the effects of auricular acupressure on symptoms of patients with allergic rhinitis and their quality of life. Methods: A quasi experimental was used with a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest method involving 56 adult outpatients who were seen in the Allergy & Asthma clinic at a tertiary referral hospital in Seoul, Korea. The experimental group (n=28) received 2 weeks of auricular acupressure to the Shenmen, wind stream, endocrine, adrenal, and lung acupuncture points; no acupressure was provided to the control group (n=28). Outcome measures included Total Nasal Symptom Score used to assess nasal symptoms, and the Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire to assess the quality of life. Repeated measure ANOVA and independent t-test were used to calculate statistical significance. Results: The experimental group showed significant improvements in terms of allergic rhinitis symptoms (p<.001) and on the Rhinoconjunctivitis Quality of Life Questionnaire (p<.001) compared to the control group. Conclusion: Finding in this study indicate that auricular acupressure can be used as a nursing intervention to alleviate nasal symptoms and improve rhinoconjuctivitis quality of life in allergic rhinitis patients.
