아위느타리 신품종 '비산1호'의 육성 및 자실체 특성 (Characteristics and breeding of a new cultivar Pleurotus eryngii var. ferulae, 'Beesan No.1')

  • 아위느타리(Pleurotus ferulae)의 품종 육성은 수량성이 높은 ASI 2803과 형태적으로 보기 좋은 국내 교배품종 ASI 2850의 단포자를 분리하여 교배하여 13개의 교잡주를 우량계통으로 선발하였고, 수량성이 높고 형태가 좋으면서 자실체 형성이 쉬운 균주 GW10-95를 선발하여 '비산1호'으로 명명되었다. 고유특성으로는 균사체 배양의 대선형성유무에서 모균주 ASI 2803 및 ASI 2850과 대치배양하였을 때 뚜렸한 대선을 형성하였다. 유전적으로는 RAPD primer를 이용하여 신품종 '비산1호'의 DNA 패턴은 모균주와는 다른 패턴을 형성하였다. 가변특성은 균사생장 적온은 $25^{\circ}C$이며 pH의 범위가 pH5~8까지 넓게 형성되었다. 자실체 수량은 농가실증시험에서 245 g으로 높게 나타났다. 또한 대길이는 ASI 2803보다 길고 굵어 수량이 높게 나타났다. 기존의 아위느타리보다 수량성이 높아 큰느타리 대체품종 뿐만 아니라 수출 품종으로도 기대된다.

  • 큰느타리(Pleurotus eryngii)의 품종 육성을 위한 육성경위로는 ASI 2824(큰느타리2호)와 ASI 2887(애린이3)를 교잡하여 G09-21를 계통 선발하였다. 선발된 G09-21과 다수성을 보여주는 ASI 2844와 교잡하여 5계통을 우량계통으로 선발하였다. 선발된 우량계통 중에서 품질이가장우수한 Pe21-53을 '설송'으로 명명되었다. 고유특성으로는 균사체 배양의 대선형성유무에서 모균주 큰느타리2호, 애린이3 및 ASI 2844와 대치배양하였을때 뚜렸한 대선을 형성하였다. 그리고 유전적으로는 RAPD primer를 이용하여 신품종 '설송'이 모균주와는 같은 pattern를 가지면서 다른 밴드도 존재하였다. 가변특성은 균사생장 적온은 $25^{\circ}C{\sim}30^{\circ}C$이며 pH의 범위가 pH 5~8까지 넓게 형성되었다. 자실체 수량은 850 cc 병당 $131.4{\pm}43.1$로서 수량지수는 102였다. 또한 대길이는 큰느타리2호보다 길고 굵으면서 유효경수가 적었으며 특히, 발이 후 생육기의 습도가 90% 이상에서 내성을 보여주었다. 신품종 '설송'은 대가 길고 굵어 내습성이 강하며 유효경수가 적은 소발생형으로 솎음작업이 필요치 않은 적정 재배조건 확립으로 노동력 및 인건비절감으로 농가 소득증대에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

대구지방에서 분리된 Shigella의 양상과 항균제 내성 (Prevalence and Drug Resistance of Shigella in Taegu Area of Korea)

  • 1973년부터 1985년 사이에 대구지방에서 분리된 Shigella는 약 1,200주였는데, 대부분이 Shigella flexneri였고, S. sonnei는 약 20%였으며, S. dysenteriae와 S. boydii는 극히 적었다. 분리균의 95%이상이 chloramphenicol(Cm), tetracycline(Tc), streptomycin(Sm), sulfisomidine(Su), ampicillin(Ap), trimethoprim(Tf) 등의 전부 또는 일부 약제에 내성이었으며, kanamycin, nalidixic acid(Na)와 rifampin(Rf)에 내성인 균주는 소수 있었으나, cephaloridine, gentamicin, amikacin 등에 내성인 균주는 없었다. 1973년에 분리된 균은 약 절반이 약제내성이었으나, 1977년 이후 분리된 균은 95% 이상이 약제내성이었다. 1977년 까지는 Cm, Tc, Sm 및 Su의 4제 내성균이 가장 많았으나 1978년 부터는 Cm, Tc, Sm, Su, Ap 및 Tp의 6제 내성균이 가장 많았다. 약 75%의 균이 그 약제내성을 접합에 의하여 Escherichia coli에 전달하였으므로 이 약제내성은 R plasmid에 의한 것으로 생각되었다. 대다수의 균에 있어서 약제내성 전부를 E. coli에 전달하였으나, Na와 Rf의 내성은 전달되지 않았다. 일부 균주의 약제내성은 E. coli에 전달될 때 분리되는 일이 있었으나, 그 수는 극히 적었다. Shigella의 R Plasmid는 대부분이 비적합성군(incompatibility group) F II에 분류되었으나, 극소수는 B군에 속하였고 군별이 안되는 것도 있었다.

실업계 고등학교 실내디자인전공 활성화를 위한 교육현장의 실태와 교과내용 분석 (An Analysis of Current States and Curriculums of Interior Design Major at Vocational High Schools and Suggestions for Improvement)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the current states of interior design as a major at vocational high schools and to suggest ways in which it can be improved. Three hundred and four students and twelve teachers of two vocational high schools comprised the sample population for this study. Data was collected using two methods, questionnaires and interviews. Frequency distribution, mean, and chi-square tests were used to analyze the data. The findings of this study are as follows: The student respondents were more interested in studying residential design, furniture design and making, drafting and perspective drawing than other areas of study. Most teachers had difficulties teaching the subject of residential design because they were not well educated with this area. Surprisingly most students hoped to extend their education to a university or college after graduation, not to enter the workforce. According to teachers'responses, almost ninety percentage of students entered university or college. And more than two thirds of the students desired to study an interior design related major at the university level. Among graduates having jobs, half of them were working in interior design fields. If the students had to choose their jobs, they would work in interior design fields. The variables differentiating several related careers after graduation were school, grade, and sex. The students viewed interior design, interior coordination, and CAD related work as fields likely to enter upon graduating from vocational high schools; however, teachers viewed furniture making, interior accessorizing, and home fashion as fields more appropriate to the students'level of training. The teacher respondents criticized the textbooks in four categories; suitability with the students'level was average or below average; students'interest level and students'understanding level were average or above average; and whether the book was easy or difficult to be utilized for the purposes of teaching was also average or above average. The criticism was a little diverse depending on each book or each chapter. The teachers pointed out several problems using those books, such as insufficient examples or explanation, lack of coherence between some chapters, and an incompatibility with the allotted time frame in class. The merits of the textbooks varied such as a well organized structure, ability to generate students'interest. This study revealed that the strategy for improving the interior design major at vocational high schools should invoke, 1) dividing students into two groups-one to enter a university; the other to have jobs after graduation to focus their interests. 2) improving textbooks more appropriate to the students. 3) providing present teachers the opportunities for in-service training and hiring new teachers with credentials more suitable to educate students who desire to be interior designers.

  • 차량-궤도 구조물 동적 상호작용해석은 차량의 접촉점이 보요소로 모형화된 레일 위를 일정한 속도로 주행하는 미끄러지는 접촉문제로 취급하였다. 하지만 Euler 보와 같은 고차 다항식의 형상함수가 적용된 유한요소를 사용할 경우 미끄러지는 접촉문제에서 적합조건을 만족하지 못한다. 이 연구에서는 유한요소해석프로그램이 미끄러지는 접촉문제에서의 적합조건을 만족시키지 못하는 것에 대한 해결법으로 주행로를 이루는 보요소를 보다 세분화하여 동적상호작용해석에서의 정확성을 확보하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 간단한 예제들을 통해 주행로를 이루는 보요소의 세분화 정도에 따른 동적상호작용해석의 거동을 분석하였으며, 해석 프로그램의 동적상호작용해석에의 적용성을 평가하였다. 마지막으로 사각을 갖는 철도 암거 접속부의 뒷채움재 설치 형식에 따른 차량주행시의 거동을 평가하기 위하여 동적상호작용해석을 수행하고, 접속부 뒷채움재 형식의 변경에 따른 지지강성의 변화에 의한 영향과 노반침하에 따른 궤도틀림의 영향을 비교분석하였다.

    • 저자들은 폐암 및 항암치료에 의한 만성 질환으로 유발된 중등도의 빈혈이 있어 농축적혈구의 수혈치료 후 발생한 호흡곤란 및 발열 호소하여 다른 원인 감별 후 수혈에 의해 유발된 급성 폐 손상 진단하에 대증치료후 환자의 증상은 호전되었다. 이러한 수혈에 의해 유발된 급성 폐 손상은 그간 국내에서 보고 된 적이 없었던 증례로 이를 문헌 고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.

    The Method of Evaluating The Potential for Conversion Legal Problems with Conversion And Basic Capacity of Vacant Onces in Tokyo

    • In Japan, the vacancy rates of office buildings have been at high in big cities since 1992. This problem is especially acute in Tokyo, where it is estimated that over 2.27 million square meters of office floor area will be oversupplied in 2003: big urban redevelopment projects will be completed in 2003. Under these circumstances, International Cooperative Research and Development on Sustainable Urban Management by Conversion of Buildings, called “SUMCOB”, has been carried out. This research aims to regenerate urban areas by converting redundant offices into flats, although instances of conversion are still very few in Japan. This paper introduces part of current results by SUMCOB, and discusses legal problems with conversion and basic capacity of vacant offices in Tokyo. It has been confirmed that there are no constraints concerned with Real Estate Registration Law (although it requires the change of the registration after conversion). and City Planning Law. However, some criteria are incompatible with Building Standard Law and Fire Service Law if the use of the building is changed from offices to flats. Typical incompatibility between offices and flats is lightening. If the buildings do not satisfy criteria for flats, the cost of renovation works for conversion will increase. To examine the basic capacity of vacant office buildings for conversion, field surveys in Tokyo have carried out at three areas: Kodenmacho (Chuo-ku), Toranomon (Minato-ku), and Iwamonocho (Chiyoda-ku). They are typical office areas that are included in center core of Tokyo. In Chuo-ku, the oldest commercial area in Tokyo, textile merchants have been located their headquarters. In Minato-ku, many rental office buildings have been located and several large scale redevelopments are advancing. Chiyoda-ku includes Marunouchi area, which is the prime office area in Japan. Thirty percent of the buildings in survey areas suffer from over twenty percent vacant floor rate, and fifty five percent were constructed before 1990. Especially most of buildings over forty percent vacant floor rate were constructed in 1980s. Vacant office problems haven't been seen in old buildings in Tokyo yet. The number of dwelling units made from office space will influence the conversion scheme. Seventy percent of the office buildings in survey areas have floor area of less than two hundred square meters. If they have been subdivided into two bedrooms type or three bedrooms type, the number of dwelling units in a floor would be less than three. The difficulty of conversion planning derives from frontage size, depth size, and their proportion. The five categories are proposed to grasp actual requirements for converting offices into flats.

    The Critical Pigment Volume Concentration Concept for Paper Coatings: II. Later-Bound Clay; Ground Calcium Carbonate, and Clay- carbonate Pigment Coatings

    • A previous study on the model coatings based on latex-bound plastic pigment coatings (1) has been extended to latex-bound No. 1 clay, ultra-fine ground calcium carbonate (UFGCC), and clay-carbonate pigment mixture coatings, which are being widely used in the paper industry. The latex binder used was a good film-forming, monodisperse S/B latex or 0.15$\mu\textrm{m}$. No. 1 clay was representative of plate-like pigment particles, whereas UFGCC was of somewhat rounded rhombohedral pigment particlel. Both of them had negatively skewed triangular particle size distributions having the mean particle suet of 0.7${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and 0.6$\mu\textrm{m}$, respectively. Their packing volumes were found to be 62.5% and 657%, respectively. while their critical pigment volume concentrations (CPVC's) were determined to be 52.7% and 50.5% ( average of 45% caused by the incompatibility and 55.9% extrapolated) by coating porosity, respectively. Each pigment/latex coating system has shown its unique relationship between coating properties and pigment concentrations, especially above its CPVC. Notably, the clay/latex coating system hat shown higher coating porosity than the UFGCC/latex system at high pigment concentrations above their respective CPVC's. It was also found that their coating porosity and gloss were inter-related to each other above the CPVC's, as predicted by the theory. More interestingly, the blends of these two pigments have shown unique rheological and coating properties which may explain why such pigment blends are widely used in the industry. These findings have suggested that the unique structure of clay coatings and the unique high-shear rheology of ground calcium carbonate coatings can be judiciously combined to achieve superior coatings. Importantly, the low-shear viscosity of the blends was indicative of their unique packing and coating structure, whereas their high-shear rheology was represented by a common mixing rule, i.e., a viscosity-averaging. Transmission and scanning electron and atomic force microscopes were used to probe the state of pigment / latex dispersions, coating surfaces, freeze fractured coating cross-sections, and coating surface topography. These microscopic studies complemented the above observations. In addition, the ratio, R, of CPVC/(Pigment Packing Volume) has been proposed as a measure of the binder efficiency for a given pigment or pigment mixtures or as a measure of binder-pigment interactions. Also, a mathematical model has been proposed to estimate the packing volumes of clay and ground calcium carbonate pigments with their respective particle size distributions. As well known in the particle packing, the narrower the particle size distributions, the lower the packing volumes and the greater the coating porosity, regardless of particle shapes.

    알스트로메리아 배주배양을 통하여 획득한 정역교배 자손의 혼종성 분석 (Hybridity Verification of Progenies Obtained from Ovule Culture by Using RAPD Markers in Reciprocal Crosses of Alstroemeria)

    • 본 연구는 알스트로메리아 두 개의 교배계통을 정역교배한 후 배주배양을 수행하였으며, RAPD 마커분석을 통하여 유전적 분배를 조사하였다. 수분 후 경과 14일에 수확하여 sucrose $60g{\cdot}L^{-1}$와 gelrite $2.2g{\cdot}L^{-1}$를 첨가한 MS배지에 half-ovule 배양이 가장 좋았다. 배양 6주후부터 배발생을 시작하여 4개월 후에 완전한 유식물체를 생성하였다. 7개의 프라이머를 사용하여 교배계통과 교배자손의 RAPD 분석을 수행하여 89개의 밴드 중 59개의 다형성 밴드를 얻었다. 정역교배에서 얻은 7개의 교배자손은 $X^2$ 분석 결과 부모본으로부터 1 : 1비율로 분배되는 것을 확인하였으며, 교배자손이 교배계통에서 얻은 것을 확신할 수 있었다. 알스트로메리아의 정역교배에서 교배조합에 따라 교배자손의 수가 다른 것은 주두 또는 화사와 화분의 불친화성을 가지는 수정 전 장벽이 있는 것으로 생각된다. 앞으로 알스트로메리아 육종을 위하여 수정 후 장벽과 함께 수정 전 장벽 또한 극복해야 할 것이다.
