Recently, there have been lots of study for disease-genetic association using SNPs and haplotypes. Statistical methods and tools for various types of data are developed by many researchers. However, there is no unified software which can handle most of major analysis, and the methods and manners to deal with data are quite different through softwares. And thus it is not easy to researcher to choose proper software. In this study, we devide analyzing procedures into three steps: preliminary analysis, population-based analysis and family-based analysis. We review the statistical methods for each step and compare the features of the FBAT, SAS/Genetics, SAGE and R as major integrating softwares for genetic study.

TETRA(TErrestrial Trunked RAdio) is the wireless communication system generally adopted to public network and backbone network, as the technology of Trunked Radio System specified by ETSI(European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and currently adopted to the Electric Power IT Backbone Network in Korea. IEC 61850 is the protocol proposed for SAS(Substation Automation System) of SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system. In this paper, IEC 61850 Server and Client simulator are used based on Linux operating system. The multi-functional gateway, which transforms the communication based on TCP/IP between IEC 61850 Server Simulator and Client Simulator to the one based on TETRA Packet Data Service, is developed such that IEC 61850 SCADA system is constructed based on TETRA.

Objectives: The study aimed to identify the oral health factors that affect the nutritional status of the elderly. Methods: The study was conducted over ten months from September 2013 to June 2014, and included senior citizens who were supported by the visiting health service. The rate of saliva release, the number of remaining teeth, and the ability of the elderly to identify nutritional conditions were evaluated. Statistical analyses were performed using the t-test, ANOVA, and multiple linear regression using SAS 9.4 (SAS Institute Inc., Cary, NC, USA.). Results: The study participants had an average irritation saliva secretion rate of $2.26{\pm}1.11mg$ per minute. The higher the rate of saliva secretion, the higher the mini nutritional assessment (MNA) score (p<0.001). The average number of remaining teeth was $8.21{\pm}9.76$. The MNA scores were highest in groups with 11 or more remaining teeth (p=0.001). The factors that affected the nutritional condition of the elderly were their ability to perform activities of daily living, saliva flow rate, and number of remaining teeth. The highest correlation among them was that of the standardized regression coefficient was - 0.386 by activity daily living, followed by a 0.170 saliva secretion rate and 0.118 remaining teeth in daily life performance. Conclusions: Activities of daily living and rate of saliva secretion showed the highest correlations to nutritional status of the elderly.

Purposes: This study was to investigate intention to exercise the patient's right of self-determination on adopting the non-benefit medical services and was to identify factors associated with intention to self-determined decision. Methodology: A total of 1,000 adult respondents aged 20 to 65 years were recruited using stratified random sampling and surveyed by online. Multivariate logistic regression analysis was performed to identify factors associated with intention to self-determined decision using SAS 9.4(SAS Institute Inc. Cary, NC, USA). Findings: 61.9% of total participants(n=592) had intention to exercise patient's right of self-determination on adopting the non-benefit medical services. Significant differences were observed in the exercise of self-determination in relation to prior explanation and opportunity for self-determination. Practical Implications: This study suggested that explanation duty of provider might influence on increasing intention to exercise the patient's right of self-determination. Considering appropriate use of non-benefit services, it is important to enhance explanation duty of provider.

The purpose of this study is to encourage the circulation of good quality of oriental medicine and to improve national welfare. Investigation for the induction of quality inscription system was conducted by mail and interview. The data were analyzed by SAS. The major results were as follows: The portion of subjects agree to necessity of quality inscription was 78.5%. In the question of side effect against quality inscription, the rate of negative was 67.7%. The responses answered that the necessity of quality inscription was not economical profit but authority of knowledge and improvement on health(37.8%), established market for herbal medicine(34.7%) and effect of clinical care(23.9%), respectively These results might be useful information for establishing of quality inscription system for herbal medicine.

This research presents the design and analysis of PCDU(Power Control & Distribution Unit) of communication satellite. The PCDU of a spacecraft must provide adequate power to each subsystem and payload during mission life, and it also needs high reliability and performance in space environment. A control circuit of the PCDU include bus sensing and filter circuits, error signal amplification circuit, error compensation circuit of SAS(Shunt Assembly Switch) and BPC(Battery Power Converter). The phase margin and DC gain for the designed circuits are analyzed through the frequency response characteristics of the compensated control circuit. And also the transfer function of the battery power converter circuit are discussed at the battery CCCM(Charge Continuous Conduction Mode) and battery C/DCCM(Continuous/Discontinuous Conduction Mode).

To strengthen the competitiveness of the game industry, one needs to develope a tool for evaluation of the satisfaction level of the game users, which leads to the improvement of the quality of games and increment of the amount of game trade. In this study, we developed factors to measure the satisfaction level and estimate their distributional properties. For the purpose, using a survey data for RPG games, we discussed several aspects for normalization of score distribution for satisfaction factors and estimated their density function by use of parametric density estimation of SAS/INSIGHT. We believe that the proposed results help us to predict or estimate the satisfaction level of newly developed games as well as the current popular games.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to test hand hygiene behavior model of hospital nurses, based on theory of planned behavior. Methods: Data were collected from 253 nurses from four university hospitals for the period of December 2010 to January 2011. Data were analyzed using of SAS (ver.9.1). Fitness of the study model was identified with SAS PROC CALIS. Results: The overall fitness was $x^2$=57.81 (df=13, $p$ <.001), GFI=.99, AGFI=.99, CFI=.95, NFI=.93. The variance of actual implementation of hand hygiene by predictor variables was 11.0% and the variance of intention to hand hygiene was 53.5%. Variable that had a direct effect on hand hygiene behavior was intention. Perceived behavior control and attitude affected hand hygiene behavior indirectly. Control belief had a direct effect on perceived behavior control and had an indirect effect on intention and behavior. Behavioral belief had a direct effect on attitude and an indirect effect on intention and behavior. Conclusion: The study provides basic information for understanding nurses' hand hygiene behavior. Further testing of the model will indicate which variables can contribute to improved hand hygiene.

Purpose: This retrospective study was performed to analyze the relationship between complications of the posterior mandibular single crowns and distance from the adjacent teeth to the implant. Subjects and Methods: Of the patients who presented Ewha Womans University Mokdong Hospital & Yonsei University Dental Hospital with missing of the posterior mandibular molar and restored with implant-supported 18 Single crowns between 1996 thru 2007, 115 patients had been followed after crown delivery. The subjects were divided into complication-followed group and a control without any problems. The distance from the most distal tooth to the implant were measured. The prosthetic & biologic complications were reviewed by the cantilever distance and analyzed by abutment type, age & gender statistically using SAS version 9.1 (SAS Inc., USA). Results and Conclusion The results were as follows; 1) The posterior mandibular single crown with cantilever showed higher incidence of follow-up complications upon logistic analysis (p<0.05). 2) The prosthetic and biologic complications are related with the cantilever distance with 2.1 odds ratio and 3.39 cut-off value of specificity & sensitivity by SPSS 12.0. 3) The complications are neither significant in abutment types nor age & gender.

목포해양대학교와 삼성중공업은 2021년 공동 연구를 통하여 '실습선 기반 원격/자율 운항 선박 시스템 개발 및 검증'을 수행하였고 이를 통하여 목포해양대학교 실습선인 세계로호를 활용하여 삼성중공업의 자율운항 선박 시스템(Autonomous Navigation System)인 SAS의 Test Bed 시연 실험 시스템을 구축하여 2022년 자율운항 선박(MASS) 기술 요소에 대한 시뮬레이션 기반 SAS(Samsung Autonomous Ship) System 검증 및 '운항 노선에 대한 설정을 통한 선박 자율운항 검증'을 위한 실선·실해역 실험을 통해 이를 시연 및 검증을 시행하였다. 특히 의미 있는 것은 자율운항선박 실선 테스트 과정 중 발생할 수 있는 모든 위험요소 분석을 위해 한국선급과 HAZID Workship을 실시하였고, 이를 통해 국내최초 자율운항실험용 기국 승인 및 선급임시검사 완료 후 실험이 진행되었다는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 실습선 기반 자율운항 선박 실해역 실험 연구를 소개하고 그 결과를 운항자 입장에서 분석하여 향후 보완하여야 할 사항을 제시하였다.
