Joint marketing defines marketing activity which aims scale economies, quality improvement, and reducing marketing costs, through regrouping and sharing roles between farmers, regional cooperative, and national agriculture cooperative federation. As a case study for joint marketing, an empirical analysis was done for strawberry joint marketing in Nonsan city and future directions for joint marketing were deduced.

This paper describes a new method for reducing blocking effet in block coded images using wavelet transform. In this method, all processings are one-dimensionally executed based on the fact that blocking effect occures both horizontal and vertical directions in image. Experimental results show that the proposed method yields PSNR improvement and better subjective quality.

When the people of advanced age drive the public electromotive cart of tricycle type on the slant and bumpy roads, the viewing angle of driver changes at the different directions. So the risk of traffic accident is increased. For the improvement of the above problem, we had produced the first experimental cart installed to the new driver´s seat based on the 2$\pi$ control theory. Based on the results of the driving test for the first experimental cart, we have produced the safe and comfortable electromotive cart.

In this paper, two major theories of effective medium for composite materials are studied, which provide the average dynamic mechanical properties of particulate composites carrying elastic waves on the basis of the concept of self-consistent scattering of waves. These two theories are also compared in detail with each other to delineate the difference in the underlying ideas and their limitation of applicability. Furthermore, prospective directions for potential improvement of the theories are found. Numerical results for three particulate composites are given and discussed.

This paper seeks to search a improved evaluation system of government sponsored research institutes(GSRI) as a knowledge system It begins with a brief review of the theory of knowledge and knowledge system This is followed by a search of the desirable conditions of the evaluation system of GSRI as a knowledge system These conditions presented are applied within the context of the current evaluation system of GSRI. Finally conclusions are drawn and directions for improvement of the system are outlined.

As a result of impressive economic growth for e past 3 decades Korean rural community saw improvement in road, houses etc. whereas movement of rural population to great urban centers, water pollutions, generation of wastes and damage to rural environment and landscapes emerged as a serious issue. In this treatise the writer reviewed the process of development of rural community under the government initiative and introduced the project for arrangement and restucturing of rural environment and discussed on the directions and requirements for future development.

This study is to review and re-establish LH disaster response and safety management system of the construction site and rental apartment complex in order to make an effective response and minimize damage in the face of disaster. I suggest directions for the improvement of disaster management systems. To achieve this, I reviewed the existing disaster response organization and accept opinions of the operating department in order to constitute effective organization which respond quickly and efficiently in emergency, and assigned new roles and responsibilities at each organization. Furthermore, I setup and suggested response manuals for each possible disasters.

Today the pedestrian-related problems a key subject requiring the attention of the traffic engineers for improving the transportation system. Particularly in urban and CBD locations, the pedestrian presents an element of sharp conflict with vehicular traffic. Therefore pedestrian movements must be studied for the purpose of providing guideline for the design and operation of walking transportation systems. This paper is to address the characteristics of walking transportation in a big city. Especially the focuses are emphasized on the ratio occupied by pedestrian traffic among the whole unlinked trips in a city and walking time. The data for analysis are collected in Seoul metropolitan city through sampling 1,006 citizens. Compared with other similar research works this paper utilized diversified tools to acquire more useful results. Finally, policy directions for pedestrian environment improvement were suggested.

A fire simulation was performed to analyze the temperature and smoke exhaust performance of roof vents of the arcade traditional market by comparing a basic model (Case A) and an improvement model (Case B~Case E). Temperature analysis by heat showed a low temperature distribution because Case E discharged smoke in both directions of length compared to other cases. However, the effect of heat by life safety standards was satisfied. The smoke exhaust analysis by smoke showed the highest performance because Case C was exhausted to 1 m on both sides of length.

This study is a base research for the restoration of village landscape of the Namhan-Sansung. The Namhan-Sansung has been recognized as a top destination for dining places. However, there have been increasing concerns about the village landscape and its rich historic and cultural heritages transformed into dining places. The village landscape of Namhan-Sansung should be reconstructed as a setting for education and loaming of Korean history and culture forgotten for a long time. The landscape also should be a space where resolute resistance and spirit of Korean people and a futuristic village space where environment friendly community environment harmonizes with daily lives. Restoration efforts of village landscape of the Namhan-Sansung can get to start from exploring the prototype of the village. In order to restore the prototype, it is important to review potential elements and setbacks. Based on the prototype of the Namhan-Sansung village, transitions of village landscape were reviewed and directions of restoration were proposed. Also, an improvement plan was proposed after reviewing problems in system and planning.
