Objectives To report an improved case with Taeeumin Mahwangjeongcheon-tang on the patient with chronic bronchitis caused by an inhalation injury. Methods The patient had been suffered from cough, sputum, dyspnea, and chest discomfort for 15 years. He was diagnosed as Taeeumin Esophageal Cold Pattern and was given Mahwangjeongcheon-tang according to Sasang constitutional medical theory. The clinical asthma measurement scale in oriental medicine(CAMSOM-V), quality of life questionnaire for adult Korean asthmatics(QLQAKA), and Spirometry were performed to evaluate the improvement of his symptoms. Results The clinical asthma measurement scale in oriental medicine(CAMSOM-V) improved from 16 to 14 points and the quality of life questionnaire for adult Korean asthmatics(QLQAKA) improved from 55 to 67 points. In spirometry, forced vital capacity improved from 3.07 to 3.59, and forced expiratory volume in 1sec improved from 2.59 to 2.84 after 4 weeks. Conclusion This report suggests that Mahwangjeongcheon-tang is effective for chronic bronchitis.
Due to the large differences in human activity within classes, the large similarity between classes, and the problems of visual angle and occlusion, it is difficult to extract features manually, and the detection rate of human behavior is low. In order to better solve these problems, an improved Faster R-CNN-based detection algorithm is proposed in this paper. It achieves multi-object recognition and localization through a second-order detection network, and replaces the original feature extraction module with Dense-Net, which can fuse multi-level feature information, increase network depth and avoid disappearance of network gradients. Meanwhile, the proposal merging strategy is improved with Soft-NMS, where an attenuation function is designed to replace the conventional NMS algorithm, thereby avoiding missed detection of adjacent or overlapping objects, and enhancing the network detection accuracy under multiple objects. During the experiment, the improved Faster R-CNN method in this article has 84.7% target detection result, which is improved compared to other methods, which proves that the target recognition method has significant advantages and potential.

Objectives : This study is to report two cases of chronic skin pruritus improved by Chijasi-tang. Methods : Chijasi-tang was prescribed to two chronic skin pruritus patients. One patient took Chijasi-tang for 30 days and the other took it for 15 days. We compared patients' symptoms before and after treatment using self-made standards. Results : Patients who complained of pruritus on the elbow and thigh, pruritus decreased from NRS 8 to 1, and skin symptoms improved from 16 to 2. The other patient who complained of pruritus in the neck and chest, pruritus improved from NRS 9 to 2, and skin symptoms at the lesion site improved from 12 to 2. Also, accompanied symptoms such as heat of the feet and heartburn almost disappeared. Conclusions : After prescribing Chijasi-tang to two chronic skin pruritus patients, significant improvements were observed. It is thought that Chijasi-tang can be used as the treatment of other skin diseases in the future.

Objectives: This study aims to report a case of chronic nummular dermatitis improved by Hwangryunagyo-tang. Methods: The patient in this study was a 15-year-old female, who visited our hospital with symptoms such as redness, erythema, papule, excoriation, scale, exudation, crusting, lichenification, and pruritus of the extremities and trunk. Considering that the skin lesions were coin-shaped and persisted for more than 6 months, the patient's symptoms were diagnosed as chronic nummular eczema. Based on the patient's symptoms and overall condition, Hwangryunagyo-tang was prescribed. Results: Approximately 4 months after administration of Hwangryunagyo-tang, the exudate disappeared, and overall skin symptoms improved, from objective score 33.7 to 6.6, leaving only slight scale, dryness, and pigmentation. As the pruritus of the skin lesion decreased from numeric rating scale 8 to 1, the patient's sleeping condition also improved from numeric rating scale 9 to 0. Conclusion: This study is significant in that the symptoms of chronic nummular dermatitis were effectively improved after administration of Hwangryunagyo-tang.
There have been many new advances in the development of improved clustering methods for microarray data analysis, but traditional clustering methods are still often used in genomic data analysis, which maY be more due to their conceptual simplicity and their broad usability in commercial software packages than to their intrinsic merits. Thus, it is crucial to assess the performance of each existing method through a comprehensive comparative analysis so as to provide informed guidelines on choosing clustering methods. In this study, we investigated existing clustering methods applied to microarray data in various real scenarios. To this end, we focused on how the various methods differ, and why a particular method does not perform well. We applied both internal and external validation methods to the following eight clustering methods using various simulated data sets and real microarray data sets.

Current codes incorporate simplified methods for the prediction of acceleration demands on secondary structural and non-structural elements at different levels of a building. While the use of simple analysis methods should be advocated, damage to both secondary structural and non-structural elements in recent earthquakes have highlighted the need for improved design procedures for such elements. In order to take a step towards the formation of accurate but simplified methods of predicting floor spectra, this work examines the floor spectra on elastic and inelastic single-degree of freedom systems subject to accelerograms of varying seismic intensity. After identifying the factors that appear to affect the shape and intensity of acceleration demands on secondary structural and non-structural elements, a new series of calibrated equations are proposed to predict floor spectra on single degree of freedom supporting structures. The approach uses concepts of dynamics and inelasticity to define the shape and intensity of the floor spectra at different levels of damping. The results of non-linear time-history analyses of a series of single-degree of freedom supporting structures indicate that the new methodology is very promising. Future research will aim to extend the methodology to multi-degree of freedom supporting structures and run additional verification studies.
In this paper, various model reduction methods were assessed using a shear frame, plane and space truss structures. Each of the structures is one-dimensional, two-dimensional and three-dimensional, respectively. Three scenarios of poor, better, and the best were considered for each of the structures in which 25%, 40%, and 60% of the total degrees of freedom (DOFs) were measured in each of them, respectively. Natural frequencies of the full and reduced order structures were compared in each of the numerical examples to assess the performance of model reduction methods. Generally, it was found that system equivalent reduction expansion process (SEREP) provides full accuracy in the model reduction in all of the numerical examples and scenarios. Iterated improved reduced system (IIRS) was the second-best, providing acceptable results and lower error in higher modes in comparison to the improved reduced system (IRS) method. Although the Guyan's method has very low levels of accuracy. Structures were classified with the excitation frequency. High-frequency structures compared to low-frequency structures have been poor performance in the model reduction methods (Guyan, IRS, and IIRS).
We are creating all-sky diffuse maps from the AKARI mid-infrared survey data with the two photometric bands centered at wavelengths of 9 and $18{\mu}m$. The AKARI mid-infrared diffuse maps achieve higher spatial resolution and higher sensitivity than the IRAS maps. In particular, the $9{\mu}m$ data are unique resources as an all-sky tracer of the emission of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). However, the original data suffer many artifacts. Thus, we have been developing correction methods. Among them, we have recently improved correction methods for the non-linearity and the reset anomaly of the detector response. These corrections successfully reduce the artifact level down to $0.1MJy\;sr^{-1}$ on average, which is essential for discussion on faint extended emission (e.g., the Galactic PAH emission). We have also made progress in the subtraction of the scattered light caused in the camera optics. We plan to release the improved diffuse maps to the public within a year.
