Development of Inner Pressure Measurement System for Hermetic Sealed Small Components (밀폐된 소형부품의 내부압력 측정장치 개발)

  • The measurement device of internal pressures of small components sealed hermetically was developed. The internal pressure of a sample measured with this device was 43.151 kPa, and the expanded uncertainty ($\kappa$=2) was 741 Pa. The resultant measurement ability of internal pressures in small vacuum components, which had been almost impossible previously, shows the possibility of internal vacuum detection of hermetically sealed parts.

  • Industrial design aiming the mutual benefit of both user and manufacturer demands grasping and analyzing the needa and wants of consumer for the establishrment of the optimum plan and production by attribute oriented approach. Inspite of its usefulness, however, it might be impossible to help industrial designers to develop a new product effectively without full understanding of industrial design activity in attributes of products and using the appropriate methodology for grasping the main attributes. This thesis is purposed for developing the guideline of research models of consumer for industrial design by studying characteristics of industrial design activity in attributes of products through bibliography and defining the clear limit of design research focused on consumer selection through comparison with real purchase decision making procedure at every phase. Through the observation and analysis of the real purchase decision making procedure following the proposed guideline, the possibility of difference between the two cases has been shown in both theoretical and practical aspects.

Computational study of road tunnel exposure to severe wind conditions

  • Ventilation and fire safety design in road tunnels are one of the most complex issues that need to be carefully considered and analysed in the designing stage of any potential upgrade of ventilation and other fire safety systems in tunnels. Placement road tunnels space has an important influence on fire safety, especially when considering the effect of adverse wind conditions that significantly influence ventilation characteristics. The appropriate analysis of fire and smoke control is almost impossible without the use of modern simulation tools (e.g., CFD) due to a large number of influential parameters and consequently extensive data. The impact of the strong wind is briefly presented in this paper in the case of a longitudinally ventilated road tunnel Kastelec, which is exposed to various severe wind conditions that significantly influence its fire safety. The possibility of using CFD simulations in the analysis of the tunnel placement in space terms negative effect of wind influence on the tunnel ventilation is clearly indicated.

  • Reliability evaluation of One-Shot systems which fly at speed of Mach must evaluate as the result which leads a many firing test. But many firing test the fact that is impossible is actuality with problem of budget. Method of prediction leads consequently with alternative and will be able to present the alternative which evaluates. Prediction of One-Shot systems that how many did accumulate a many experience data according to the accuracy is decided, there is a possibility of seeing. One like shot our country and the method which is indirect leads from the environment where the test data is insufficient and only will not be able to set the direction of prediction, the present paper about such method describes 217 Plus where is a reliability prediction standard which is new the thing in standard.

  • According to Urban Railroad Act, trains can be operated only after they take The Urban Transit Performance Test. There has been Performance Tests for the trains which has been manufactured since 2000, but it is nearly impossible to utilize the Performance Test results other than the original purpose due to the fact that they are not organized in detail, In addition, test steps have difficulty using the former test results. Thus, test results must be computerized and made into database to make the best use of them and to carry out efficient and dependable tests. For this purpose, this paper analyzes the task and the procedure of the performance test on trains. On the basis of the analysis results, this paper checks the availability of the computerized information and the possibility of improving the task concerned

The Eligibility of Busan Port as A Hub Port in North East Asia

  • Many countries in the North East Asia are competing with each other in order to become a centre of international logistics activities. The competition to become a hub port in Far East region is now fierce. The anticipated investments on improving port facilities and attracting the mega carriers are immense for all the ports in the region and the extent of the effort could cripple the local ports and region's economy given the limited financial resources. It is, however, impossible to avoid the disastrous possibility that the massive investments could be channeled into the port, which will never become a hub port, as no port is ready to currently admit defeat and settle as a small regional port. In an attempt to minimise such disastrous waste of resources, ports need to verify the eligibility of their own. This paper tests a system dynamics model using the Port of Busan to understand and illustrate the principle guideline of investment decision making for ports.

  • ATS Systems are activated against the over-running and the crashes between trains. Up to now, ATS Systems have been constituted analog systems adopting the changed frequency method or amplitude modulation, which is impossible to give any essential informations. In this paper, it is dealt with digital ATS Systems which are replaced the former ATS Systems in the advanced nation of railways. Especially, this paper shows the possibility of any developments for the digital ATS Systems by the experiment of digital ATS Systems by Frequency Shift Keying method.

Improvement of reconstructed image from computer generated psuedo holograms using iterative method

  • Computer-Generated Hologram (CGH) is generally made by Fourier Transform. CGH is made by an optical reconstruction. Computer-Generated Pseudo Hologram (CGPH) is made up Complex Hadamard Transform instead of CGH which is made by the Fourier Transform. CGPH differs from CGH in point of view the possibility of optical reconstruction. There is an advantage that it cannot be optical reconstruction, in other word, physical leakage of the confidential information is impossible. In this paper, a binary image was converted in Complex Hadamard Transform, and CGPH was made. Improvement of the reconstructed image from CGPH is done by error diffusion method and iterative method. The result that the reconstructed image is improved is shown.

  • In this paper, we would study the applicability of neural networks to the recognition process of Korean stenographic character image, applying the classification function, which is the greatest merit of those of neural networks applied to the various pans so far, to the stenographic character recognition, relatively simple classification work. Korean stenographic recognition algorithms, which recognize the characters by using some methods, have a quantitative problem that despite the simplicity of the structure, a lot of basic characters are impossible to classify into a type. They also have qualitative one that it is not easy to classify characters for the delicacy of the character forms. Even though this is the result of experiment under the limited environment of the basic characters, this shows the possibility that the stenographic characters can be recognized effectively by neural network system. In this system, we got 90.86% recognition rate as an average.

  • In this study, we surveyed the Marado status of the availability of emergency runway for the LSA, through site visits. For the future progress Marado flight tour operation, for LSA of 4 models with respect to just in case there was an emergency situation analysis of the availability of emergency runway. We analyzed the problems of the sloping runway with the changing elements for the kinetic and potential energy. The Bingo and CH-650 models of LSA are usability emergency runway of Marado for take-off and landing. But the AT-4 and CTLS models of LSA are limited or impossible to use emergency runway of the Marado.
