WDM technology has been an emerging issue for the efficient use of optical links. WDM uses a number of different wavelengths that are assigned to each channel. The minimal number of optical transcievers and receivers should be used in a node to build an economic WDM transmission system without degrading system performance. Hence, the analysis of performance parameters such as throughput and delay is important to guarantee the WDM system performance. In this paper, the performance of a MAC protocol on a slotted WDM system that has a tunable transmitter(TTX), a tunable receiver(TRX), and a fixed receiver(FRX), respectively, on each node, was statistically analyzed. The computer simulation validates the performance analysis.

A numerical analysis for the performance of compound gyroplane in forward flight was performed. TSM(Transient Simulation Method) was used to analyze the performance of autorotating rotor. CFD was conducted for the fuselages to recognize the variation of aerodynamic performance according to flight speed. At given conditions; airspeed, shaft angle and collective pitch, the quasi-static states of autorotation were determined and the variation of rotor performance was observed. Performance analysis results showed that the effect of aerodynamic characteristics in accordance with the shape of fuselage is so important that the streamlined fuselage is essential to fly fast. Forward flight speed limit is dependent on the autorotation performance of rotor.

Purpose: The present study was designed to examine the casual relationships among performance and arts information service quality, initial trust, user satisfaction, reuse intention and prosumer activity in social network service(SNS). Also, we intended to explore significant factors on use performance of SNS through causal model analysis in the viewpoint of total effect. Methods: As a survey tool, questionnaire has obtained validity and reliability through literature survey, exploratory survey and pretest and sample 403 was selected. For statistical treatment of pretest and main analysis, SPSS18.0 and AMOS18.0 were employed and structural equation model was employed as analysis method. Results: Result of this study shows as follows. Two factors (precision and reciprocal action) have an effect on user satisfaction, initial trust, reuse intention and prosumer activity. We found that with an importance of initial trust, prosumer activity can be a useful and significant factor in causal relationship of SNS. Conclusion: The present study shows that two factors(precision and reciprocal action) in via of initial trust, were important factors that related companies have to emphasize to raise performance, And also we confirmed new factor 'prosumer activity' through this study. However, the present study has some limitations to be studied in the future.

BIM is one of the means of reducing the economic loss caused by design errors. These features of BIM have led to increased use of BIM. With the increasing use of BIM, several studies have been conducted to analyze the performance of BIM. As the importance of BIM staff is emphasized in the performance analysis of BIM, the human resource allocation of BIM staff can become an important research issue. However, there are few studies to measure the workforce effectiveness of BIM staff. Ham et al (2020) measured BIM workforce efficiency using FCFS queue model rules. Since design errors can have different effects on the project depending on the type, there are design errors that must be dealt with first. Therefore, in this study, a priority queue was used to solve design errors with high priority first. The performance of BIM-based design verification was analyzed by quantitatively analyzing the performance of BIM staff when the priority rule was applied to the design error processing sequence.

This study investigated the current status of foodservice management and the importance and performance of foodservice management according to the level of knowledge of workers. A survey was conducted between February 2015 and March 2015 for 329 foodservice workers at Community Child Centers in Chungbuk Area. Of these respondents, the majority (78.4%) of them were females. Most of them were in their 40s (40.4%) or 50s (33.4%). If the respondent's correct answer rate of knowledge was 0~50% or 51~100%, the respondent was classified into a 'Low Group (LG, n=175)' or a 'High Group (HG, n=154)'. Among a total of 14 foodservice management questions, 6 items (personal hygiene: 1 item; food material: 2 items; and food processing: 3 items) had relatively higher performance scores for workers in HG than for workers in LG. As a result of Importance-Performance analysis, 'Use different knives and cutting boards for fish, meat, and vegetables' was a variable of high importance but low performance. It was found that improvement was most urgently needed. Results of this study can be used to derive important items for improving foodservice management and policy development for foodservice workers at Community Child Centers.

To derive an efficient operating system for business incubators, this study examined the operating performance according to incubator operating system and incubator manager. The survey targets were tenants of business incubators and factor analysis. Regression analysis was performed according to the reliability analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and parameter using the 19 Ver program SPSS analysis. As a result, the business incubators and business incubators operating system were found to be an important factor and among these, the H / W and system S / W systems were identified as significantly influential factors. On the other hand, this hypothesis of the performance of the support system and characteristics of the incubator manager was rejected for the variable parameters, which always appear to influence the other characteristic factors of the manager. Operational performance can be divided into an incubator performance center and tenant's performance, and the performance of the tenants were analyzed by the significant effect on the managers characteristics.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine effects of productization and organizational competences on export performance of electromagnetic shielding companies and to analyze moderating effects of overseas market adaptation competences. For this, hypotheses were established by reviewing previous studies and an empirical analysis was conducted for testing. Design/methodology/approach - For this study, a survey was conducted for workers at electromagnetic shielding companies and 250 valid responses out of 300 questionnaires were aquired. A frequency analysis of related variables was conducted. Through an exploratory factor analysis, validity and reliability tests of measuring tools were conducted and a descriptive statistics was analyzed for collected data result and hypotheses testing. Findings - A correlation analysis was conducted to examine relationships among variables. Construct, convergent and discriminant validities were analyzed after a confirmatory factor analysis and a multi-group confirmatory factor analysis. Finally, with a verified model, the hypotheses and the moderating effects were tested. The results are as follows: First, the productization competence has a positive effect on export performance; Second, the organizational competence has a positive effect on export performance. Especially, the organizational competence has more effect on export performance than the productization competence. Although a development of new technology and product is important in terms of performance, along with these competences, a way of acquiring new skills and knowledge, and internalization and adaptation in organizations have more effect on export performance. Third, overseas market adaptation competence moderates effects of organizational and productization competences. Research implications or Originality - It is necessary to seek out opportunities for workers to participate in actively, such as conferences and seminars, to strengthen organizational competence. It is strongly believed that a constant development of high quality product will contribute to export performance. Lastly, in a policy level, supports on SMEs by governments are to be strengthened by providing with finance and human resource.

The purpose of this study is to establish the relationship between wedding companies and wedding planners and understand the influence of relationship factors on the relationship performance and relationship continuation intention of wedding companies. We conducted an online survey from June to July 2017, and collected 201 responses which were used during analysis. Statistical analysis, including technical statistical analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis, was undertaken using SPSS 23. This study shows that among the relationship factors affecting the wedding planner and the wedding company, the computational tie-up has a significant impact on both the financial and non-financial performance of the wedding company, while emotional tie-ups have a significant impact on the non-financial performance of the wedding company, but not on financial performance. As for the effects of relationship commitment to wedding planners on wedding shops' relationship continuation intention, each factor for relationship commitment significantly affected wedding shops' relationship continuation intention. Regarding the effects of wedding shops' relational performance on relationship continuation intention, each factor of performance significantly affected relationship continuation intention. Therefore, wedding companies should make continuous efforts to maintain this relationship and recognize the need for robust relationships with wedding planners as a sure and important competitive tool for attracting customer and generating revenue.

Purpose - This study aims to examine the effect of entrepreneurship of start-ups on export performance when the business closure rate is higher than business start-up rate in Korea. Thus, this study analyzes various factors for start-ups established within the past seven years and uses export performance as an indicator. Prior to analysis of factors, the study defines the concepts of start-up factors based on various studies. Design/methodology - In order to analyze the export performance of startups, this study conducted an empirical analysis using statistical analysis. Theories were established based on previous studies, and hypotheses and research models were designed based on the established theories. Subsequently, in order to verify the research hypothesis and research model, factor analysis such as validity and reliability, and structural equation modeling were analyzed. Findings - As a result of analysis based on previous studies, we found that there is a difference between theoretical and practical aspects. Whereas previous studies showed that market orientation, technology orientation, and social capital have a direct impact on export performance, the present study analyzed that there is no such impact, and that technology capabilities were important as a result of the unique traits of start-ups. Originality/value - Existing studies have limitations in understanding the overall characteristics of a company by using market orientation, technology orientation, and social capital as individual independent variables. In addition, the existing researches have been analyzed in relation to corporate performance, whereas this study has been limited to export performance, so it can be regarded as different from other studies.

In this study, we performed the CFD analysis to predict the cooling performance of the motor for golf-car application. The motor for the golf-car is different from the general motors in the cooling method and the operating condition. So, it is important to predict the motor's temperature generated by the electric losses. We investigated the inner temperature rise using the unsteady state analysis and compared with the experiment for the reliability evaluation of the CFD results through the present study.
