This paper presents an implementation method of phasor measurement device, which is based on the FPGA implementation of the sliding-DFT The design is verified by the timing simulation of its operation. The error effect of coefficient approximation and frequency deviation in the recursive implementation of the sliding-DFT is analytically derived and verified with the computer simulations.
A computationally efficient implementation of the progressive edge-growth algorithm is presented. This implementation uses an array of red-black (RB) trees to manage the layered structure of check nodes and adopts a new strategy to expand the Tanner graph. The complexity analysis and the simulation results show that the proposed approach reduces the computational effort effectively. In constructing a low-density parity check code with a length of $10^4$, the RB-tree-array-based implementation takes no more 10% of the time required by the original method.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the level of implementation of the Incheon Strategy and to develop measures for effective implementation. This research method used literature review and monitoring method. The results of the study are summarized as follows: First, 9 key indicators and 7 supplementary indicators, which are classified into implementation and non-implementation, 3 key indicators have been implemented, one indicator has been partially implemented, 5 indicators have not yet been implemented, Also, In the case of supplementary indicators, five were implemented and two were not. Second, the ten target areas are lacking in implementation, but the objective of 7 is to ensure the comprehensive disaster risk reduction and management, the ratification and implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the harmonization of the Convention with the domestic law, Also, it is analyzed that the level of implementation is in the order of improving the reliability and comparability of the data of goal 8, ensuring gender equality of goal 6 and strengthening the capacity of women. Based on these results, we propose an improvement plan for implementation. First, it is necessary to formulate policy issues and implement measures for the implementation of Incheon Strategy. Second, it is necessary to establish a system to implement and monitor for Incheon strategy. Third, Korean standards for goals and targets, key indicators and supplementary indicators are needed. Fourth, it is necessary to prioritize the target implementation and to take preemptive action. Lastly, it is necessary to educate and publicize for the Incheon strategy.
Objectives: The objectives of this study were to assess the implementation status of Health Promoting Schools (HPS) among elementary, middle and high schools and to identify characteristics of the schools that affect the implementation of HPS. Methods: A total of 703 teachers (male 32.2%, females 67.8%) from 70 elementary, middle and high schools in Seoul and Gyeonggi participated in the survey. A 60-item self-evaluation questionnaire was used to assess implementation status of HPS. Results: Implementation of HPS in elementary schools were more favorable than middle and high schools after controling for participants' characteristics, such as age, gender, and their duties at school (<0.001). Being a private school was associated with higher score on implementation of HPS in both elementary (${\beta}$=0.170) and middle/high schools (${\beta}$=0.275). However, being located in rural areas (${\beta}$=-0.409) and having larger number of students (${\beta}$=-0.521) were associated with lower score on implementation of HPS in middle/high schools. Conclusions: Middle and high schools, especially large public and/or rural schools, were less favorable in implementing HPS. Therefore, supporting those schools are necessary and developing evaluation and monitoring system for HPS implementation will contribute to promote students' health.
This study looked into the procedures of and the status on the implementation of the new 7th national curriculum at the secondary school level. It examined the processes taken by the local boards of education in due course of facilitating the schools with the new curriculum implementation. More specifically the study examined, 1) the degree to which the particular innovation(i.e., student-centered, flexible and autonomous school-based curriculum, etc.) is being implemented as planned; and 2) how it is being implemented. It conducted a situation-oriented analysis in cooperation with three local boards of education. Classroom observations, teacher interviews, questionnaires for teachers and supervisors were utilized and the three major criteria of interpreting the result were the three core concepts of the 7th national curriculum, that is, the degree of '(1)reorganization, (2)student-centeredness and (3)diversification/ specialization' of the curriculum. Detailed documentation on the processes of the local bureaus of education and on the classroom practices are made in order to provide schools and policy makers with relevant and practical suggestions for further improvement of curriculum implementation. Ultimately, The greater the awareness of the intention of the new curriculum on the part of both the staff at the local school boards and teachers, the greater the degree of implementation. And the higher the quality of planning to meet problems, the greater the degree of implementation. Continuous efforts are needed to involve teachers in the process of curriculum implementation. The greater the active support of the teachers, the greater the degree of implementation.

The purpose of this stuffy is to derive critical success factors for ERP system implementation by integrating managerial, technical. human resource and organizational culture factors welch have been proposed as influencing factors for the performance of ERP system implementation in previous studios. Especially, this stuffy divides ERP system implementation process into preparation stave, implement stage and settle-down and stabilization stave, and then derives critical success factors in each stage. The data for empirical analysis of the research model are collected from 64 companies and the respondents for questionnaire consist of ERP system implementation project managers and user department managers in companies which have already operated it after ERP system installation. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it derives 27 success factors through comprehensive review of various factors which may affect ERP system implementation performance, and categorizes them into one of three stapes preparation stave, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stage. Second, the relationship between many success factors at each stave (preparation stave, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stave) and performance variables is tested. As a result, the significant correlations between many success factors at each stage and ERP system implementation performance are found, and the difference among success factors in the degree of influencing the system performance is significantly shown. finally, the relationship between process-oriented performance variables and result-oriented performance ones is tested. As a result, it is found that there is significant correlation between process-oriented performance variables except for one variable-project resource management appropriateness - and result-oriented performance ones. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for implementing ERP system project from the system deve1opment life cycle perspective, and empirically test it through field survey with a wide range of data collection. And, the practical implication of this study is to present the desirable guidelines for performing ERP system implementation project successfully.

This paper investigates how strategy formulation and implementation processes used by the University of Cape Coast (UCC) in building its digital collections compare with the Andrew's strategic formulation and implementation theoretical framework. Theory-testing case study methodology was used. The data collection instruments were the key informant interview technique and document reviews. During the formulation phase, two aspects (resources and aspirations of senior management) were emergent. During the implementation phase, five aspects (achieving results, processes and behaviour, standards, motivation, personal) were emergent. All other elements of building the UCC digital collections were planned during both the formulation and implementation phases. Although the emphasis on students and learning is laudable and apt, there seems to be lack of focus on research support beyond digital collection building, despite the fact that research excellence is one of the UCC's key priorities. Opportunities exist for improving feedback mechanisms between the users, digital library staff and the university management; and inclusion of social media tools in the digital library project. Since only the experience of a single institution of higher learning is considered, it cannot be definitively stated that strategy formulation and implementation will be similar in every institutional context. However, the results provide a basis for academic digital libraries to draw lessons from this case. In African public universities, there is little earlier research on strategy formulation and implementation in digital library management. Strategy formulation and implementation is a critical issue for higher education academic libraries especially in developing countries like Ghana, due to limited financial resources and the rapid change in the information environment during the last several decades.
Objectives: Although the Korean government is able to implement smoke-free regulations for shared areas in multi-unit housing (MUH), such regulations are limited for private homes. The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence and predictors of support for the implementation of smoke-free regulations for homes and near the outsides of building among residents in MUH. Methods: A population-based sample of 2,600 residents among a web-based panel in Seoul was included. The residents completed questionnaires including smoking status, voluntary smoke-free home rules, and support for the implementation of smoke-free regulations for homes and near the outsides of building. The presence of a voluntary smoke-free home rule was determined when residents declared that no one smoked inside their homes. Results: Among the 2,600 MUH residents, prevalence of support for the implementation of smoke-free regulations for homes was higher (83.2%) than for near the outsides of buildings (75.1%). Support for the implementation of smoke-free regulations for homes was higher when residents were non-smokers, had voluntary smoke-free home rules, lived with children, lived with more residents, lived in owned homes, lived in apartments, and lived in homes with more frequent secondhand smoke (SHS) incursion. Support for the implementation of smoke-free regulations near the outsides of buildings was higher when residents were women, non-smokers, more educated, had a voluntary smoke-free home rule, lived with children, lived in homes with more frequent SHS incursion, and lived in a commercial area. Conclusions: The majority was supportive of the implementation of smoke-free regulations for homes. Predictors identified in the study can be useful for promoting implementation of smoke-free regulations for homes in MUH.

In the 1990s and 2000s there was considerable growth in implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) Systems. It is estimated that the ERP market will grow to about $65 billion by 2009. Companies expect these systems to support many of the day to day business transactions. However, the implementation projects of ERP are big, strategic and complex projects which involve lots of time, scope and costs. Because of that, companies have to create conditions, in which they can implement chosen solution in expected time, scope and budgeted costs. This means that companies should be aware of what most critical factors for success of ERP implementations are. This study will first investigate the ERP implementation CSFs by studying prior published researches on the field of ERP implementation. Then, this study will discuss in depth some important factors of ERP implementation and represent preliminary results CSFs of ERP implementation empirical survey.
At present, new techniques based on different component reference models for the integration of component and system of different platforms, such as EJB and COM+, are introduced. The operation between the components in the identical component platform is realized by the composition at the source level. In case of the different component platform, however, it is impossible to use combined components in real condition although they are components of similar domain. In this paper we proposed a solution for the composition problem by using component transformation methodology based on model between EJB and COM+ components which are different components. For the composition between EJB and COM+ components, we compared and analyzed each reference model, then proposed the Virtual Component Model which is implementation independent and the Implementation Table for the mutual conversion. Reffering to the Virtual Component Model and the Implementation Table, we can generalize each Implementation model to the Virtual Component Model, make the Virtual Component Model which is implementation independent through the virtual component modeling, transform EJB and COM+ components selectively. Proposing the effective Model Transformation method to the different component platform, we can combine EJB and COM+ components.
