  • We have developed Ground Software (GSW) of BITSE. The ground software includes mission operation software, data visualization software and data processing software. Mission operation software is implemented using COSMOS. COSMOS is a command and control system providing commanding, scripting and data visualization capabilities for embedded systems. Mission operation software send commands to flight software and control coronagraph. It displays every telemetry packets and provides realtime graphing of telemetry data. Data visualization software is used to display and analyze science image data in real time. It is graphical user interface (GUI) and has various functions such as directory listing, image display, and intensity profile. The data visualization software shows also image information which is FITS header, pixel resolution, and histogram. It helps users to confirm alignment and exposure time during the mission. Data processing software creates 4-channel polarization data from raw data.

  • Clothing shape is principally described in seven factors that are composed of clothing design, clothing material, clothing size, pattern design, sewing method and body motion etc. The aims of this study was to measurement out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body by using the image processing. The subjects for direct anthropometric measurements were 248 female college students aged from 19 to 22. The data were statistically analyzed by principal analysis and cluster analysis. The results selected one somatotype. for the out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body, there dimensional clothing shapes measured. and cross-sectional clothing shape obtained by the measurement was considered to be space wave form. The out-line space-shape variation of clothing fitness with body was observed between the node number and amplitudes of clothing wave form, and node number was determined at the maxim of space-shape amplitude, and the space-shape amplitudes have related with aspect ratio of cross-sectional shape. • COMS(Communication, Ocean and Meteorological Satellite) has multiple payloads; Meteorological Image(MI), Ocean Color Imager(GOCI) and Ka-band communication payloads. MI has 4 IR and 1 visible channel. In order to improve the quality of IR image, two calibration sources are used; black body image and cold space look data. In case of COMS, the space look is performed at 10.4 degree away from the nadir in east/west direction. During space look, SUN or moon intrusions are strictly forbidden, because it would degrade the quality of collected IR channel calibration data. Therefore we shall pay attention to select space look side depending on SUN and moon location. This paper proposes and discusses a simple and complete space look side selection logic based on SUN and moon intrusion event file. Computer simulation has been performed to analyze the performance of the proposed algorithm in term of east/west angular distance between space look position and hazardous intrusion sources; SUN and moon.

  • The target detection algorithm based on supervised learning is the current mainstream algorithm for target detection. A high-quality dataset is the prerequisite for the target detection algorithm to obtain good detection performance. The larger the number and quality of the dataset, the stronger the generalization ability of the model, that is, the dataset determines the upper limit of the model learning. The convolutional neural network optimizes the network parameters in a strong supervision method. The error is calculated by comparing the predicted frame with the manually labeled real frame, and then the error is passed into the network for continuous optimization. Strongly supervised learning mainly relies on a large number of images as models for continuous learning, so the number and quality of images directly affect the results of learning. This paper proposes a dataset STAR-24K (meaning a dataset for Space TArget Recognition with more than 24,000 images) for detecting common targets in space. Since there is currently no publicly available dataset for space target detection, we extracted some pictures from a series of channels such as pictures and videos released by the official websites of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) and ESA (The European Space Agency) and expanded them to 24,451 pictures. We evaluate popular object detection algorithms to build a benchmark. Our STAR-24K dataset is publicly available at https://github.com/Zzz-zcy/STAR-24K.

  • In terms of the concept of space in urban planning and design, the modern city approaches from the perspective that all spaces are made up of different places based on identity. In this study, we analyzed disparate image by paying attention to the difference between the individual spaces that form the city. And the physical and behavioral factors that respond to the disparate spatial images are derived through legibility measurement. As a result, the urban space in Busan has disparate images such as closure, openness, dynamic + closure, dynamic + openness, quiet space. The following are the legibility factors that make each image stronger. The elements of closure are high-density and high-rise buildings, residence, work, openness appeared as a factor of water space, walking and viewing. Dynamic & Closure is the element of industrial activity, dynamic & openness is open space, water space, swimming element, quiet space image is green space, walking, stay factor.

  • Disparity space image (DSI) technique is a method of establishing correspondence between a pair of images. It has a merit of generating a dense disparity map for each pixel. DSI has a cost function to be minimized, and it needs empirical weighting factors for occlusion penalty and match reward. This paper provides theoretical basis for the weighting factors, which depend on image noise and contrast between an object and background.

  • In this paper we propose an directional analytic approach in image data space for X-ray image which is detected from the X-ray projection system. Such a radiographic nondestructive testing has long been used for steel-tube inspection and weld monitoring. The welded area and thickness of steel-tube are detected from gradient radiating mechanism based on the evaluation of biased X-ray source position. The welded area is an ellipse type on low contrast X-ray image including noise. Noise originates from most of elements of the system. such as shielding CCD camera, imaging screen, X-ray source, inspected object, electronic circuits and etc.. Projection incorrectness and noise influence on imaging quality is to be represented by vertical pixels' distribution. Space analysis due to vertical direction also shows the segmental possibility between regions by visual edge evaluation.

  • In the aspects of the globalization and localization, it is crucial to determine 'Urban selling point', which explains how to make an image: in order to acquire city identity based on the cultural and historical understanding for the Positive city image. The Purpose of this study is to investigate the possible role of the public space as a tool of the city marketing strategy, as well as to realize the cultural city identity through the design of the public space by studying cases which promote the value of life for both of the city and the citizens. Two methodologies are utilized for this study; First, he value in realizing cultural identity is examined through the city identity related to the city marketing and theoretical review of city amenity; second, the several domestic and international cases of cultural planning in culture-accumulated public space are selected and analyzed to map out new strategies from the perspective of place strategy, cultural strategy, and marketing strategy. The results from this study are as follows; first, the culture-accumulated public space through the formation of culture has its own characterized meaning, which has the significant value for the city representative image; second, when planning the culture-accumulated public space, it is important to select not only the appropriate image strategy but the adequate type of the public space for the city planning.

  • We introduce a technical approach for reducing three-dimensional infrared (IR) spectroscopic data generated by integral field spectroscopy or slit-scanning observations. The first part of data reduction using IRAF presents a guideline for processing spectral images from long-slit IR spectroscopy. Multichannel image reconstruction, Image Analysis and Display (MIRIAD) is used in the later part to construct and analyze the data cubes which contain spatial and kinematic information of the objects. This technic has been applied to a sample data set of diffuse 2.1218 ${\mu}m$ $H_2$ 1-0 S(1) emission features observed by slit-scanning around Sgr A East in the Galactic center. Details of image processing for the high-dispersion infrared data are described to suggest a sequence of contamination cleaning and distortion correction. Practical solutions for handling data cubes are presented for survey observations with various configurations of slit positioning.
