Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between service quality, destination image, and tourist satisfaction for foreign tourists visiting Korea, and in particular, to analyze the moderating effect of psychological power in the relationship. Research design, data, and methodology: A research model was derived through existing literature research and a survey was conducted on foreign tourists visiting Korea. Structural equation model of SPSS and AMOS24.0 were used for data analysis and hypothesis testing. Results: The tourism service quality affects the image of tourist attractions. Images of tourist attractions were found to affect tourism satisfaction. It was found that the lower the psychological power, the greater the effect on the relationship between service quality and image, and the relationship between image and satisfaction. Conclusions: This study demonstrated that service quality at travel destinations is a key factor in order to enhance the image and satisfaction of Korean tourist destinations for foreigners visiting Korea. On the other hand, since the image and satisfaction level of the tourism destination vary depending on personal factors such as psychological power, it suggests that travel industry workers or researchers should develop and operate services tailored to the individual characteristics of the tourists.

Regression analysis revealed sociocultural attitude toward appearance (internalization, awareness) and appearance orientation of body image were predictors of appearance management in middle school girls. The significant predictors of appearance management for high school girls were body image (appearance evaluation, appearance orientation, body area satisfaction). The study gives new suggestions that there is necessary different methods to educate and council for appearance management in middle and high school girls.

PACS and Medical Image System use only high level metadata in retrieving desired image nowadays. In order to retrieve Medical Image Data more efficiently, it would be needed to retrieve similarity by utilizing low level metadata as well as keyword retrieval by high level metadata. Thus, In this paper presents that it has realized similarity retrieval by low level metadata on the basis of MPEG-7, and keyword retrieval by high level metadata of DICOM base. It would be also available to look into medical image data in various methods and read accurate image promptly for diagnosis and treatment by retrieval with integrating two metadata.

In the case of image magnification by using interpolation methods, interpolated pixels are estimated from the known pixels in source image. The magnified image is composed of the known pixels in source image and the interpolated pixels which is estimated. If the interpolated pixels are estimated to have the locality which is exists in real images, the magnified image is much closer to the real image. In this paper, an improved interpolation scheme is proposed to estimate pixels from the known pixels in source image using the locality which is exists in real images. The magnified image by using the proposed interpolation scheme is much closer to the real image. The performance of the proposed interpolation scheme is evaluated by using PSNR(Peak Signal to Noise Ratio) in experiment. The PSNR of the magnified image by using the proposed scheme is improved than that of the magnified images by using existing interpolation methods. So, the proposed interpolation scheme is an efficient interpolation method for the quality improvement of magnified image.
In this paper, we design and implement an integrated management system for geographic data and vehicular images using a Geographic Information System (GIS). Integrated management of geographic data and vehicular images is very important to manage and to provide them to users effectively because of a large volume of vehicular images. To manipulate these data together, we consider a vehicular image as a polygon which is a type of popular geographic data types. The polygon represents a region in which spatial objects appear the vehicular image.
Effective brand management using images has been a challenge for the brand managers. The brand identity-brand image alignment on the social media is an important yet mostly-overlooked phenomenon. We proposed a scalable Google Cloud Vision-based approach for measuring the alignment between brand identity and brand image, and understanding the brand positions. We analyzed 3247 images of 13 leading Indian brands on Instagram. Images containing wordy announcements by the firms are in stark contrast with the relatively more emotive images by the users. It leads to a noticeable disconnect between the brand identity and brand image. Also, the private sector brands do not always outperform the public sector brands in branding efforts. By offering practical guidance on how to measure and reduce the misalignment, this study paved a feasible path towards better visual branding on Instagram.

This paper specifically delineated the methodological application of constructivism in smart tourism studies. It explained what constructivism is and how this methodology could be applied in the study of smart tourism. In this study, residents of Seoul participated in constructivist research using the Q method to identify their subjectivities toward Seoul based on photographs most commonly found in tourism promotional material. Residents are concerned with good governance and cultural integrity, and they are aware of their role as stakeholders in tourism in their communities. However their potential contribution to destination image formation has been usually overlooked by researchers and marketers. Three clusters of subjectivities were revealed after 42 photographs of Seoul were sorted by 37 respondents. The results show how respondents perceived Seoul's destination image. The three clusters agreed that symbolic monuments were the key representations of Seoul. The paper recommends that tourism marketers and policy makers should focus on understanding and coordinating with residents' perceived image of Seoul as a destination when planning and decision making, especially in promoting Seoul as a destination market. This study, in conjunction with other constructivist research offers insight into how destination image is, especially with the rise of smart tourism, a complex social construction.
Social networking services (SNSs) have become important and popular tools for not only presenting self-image but also sharing travel information. This study adopted self-image expressions to understand tourists' intentions to share travel information and behavioral changes in SNSs. To enhance understanding tourists' intention and behavior, the current study suggests a research model based on motivations for self-image expression (i.e., creativity, altruism and social relationship). This current study empirically resulted in the importance of users' creativity, altruism and social relationship in SNS, which leads to the intention and behavioral changes to share travel information. In addition, altruism moderated the negative effect of creativity on self-image expression as well as the positive effect of the social relationship on self-image expression. Based on the result of this study, the current study bears some implications in a theoretical and practical context.
