디스플레이상에서 주변시를 고려한 색채 인지 비교 연구 (A Comparison Study of Colour Perception considering Peripheral Vision on Display Device)

  • 본 연구는 배경의 밝기와 색상 자극의 크기에 따라 인지될 수 있는 색상 속성이 차이가 있을 수 있다는 가정 아래, 배경의 밝기를 차등적으로 적용하여 Peripheral vision에 해당하는 $10^{\circ}$$20^{\circ}$의 자극을 colour matching하는 실험을 진행 하였다. 실험결과, 배경의 밝기 및 실험 자극으로 사용된 Munsell 색상 속성의 조합에 따라 동일한 색상임에도 불구하고 colour를 각기 다르게 인지할 수 있다는 경향성을 볼 수 있었으며, 자극의 크기에 대한 색상 인지 관련 선행 연구 결과와 다르게 배경의 밝기의 변화에 따라 색상 자극의 크기가 상대적으로 작다고 하더라도 더욱 colourful하거나 더욱 밝게 인지될 수 있다는 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 진행된 실험 결과를 바탕으로 향후 영상의 크기가 변환 될 때 발생할 수 있는 화질 열화를 개선할 수 있으며 2D 뿐만 아니라 3D나 홀로그램 영상처리 시, 시감적 특성을 반영한 효과적인 입체 영상 재현에도 기여할 수 있다.

동양적 복식디자인의 특성과 이미지 연구(제1보)-한국, 중국, 일본을 중심으로- (A Study on the Characteristic and Image of Oriental Costume Design:-Korea, China and Japan-)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the characteristic and image of oriental costume design on represented among three countries, Korea, China and Japan. The specific objectives were; 1) to identify the design characteristics of oriental costume. 2) to investigate the hierarchic structure of oriental costume image and the meaning structure of oriental costume image. The stimulus were 75 costume design of contemporary costume which represented the traditional image of orient. The main survey of questionary consisted of their evaluation of the oriental costume image by 26 semantic differential bi-polar scales and the subjects were 99 female students majoring in clothing and textiles. The data were analyze by Cluster analysis. Factor analysis, ANOVA, Scheffe test. The major findings were as follows; 1) As a result of design analysis, costume design of Korea, China, Japan had differences on form, color, texture, pattern, ornament, etc. 2) The hierarchic structure of oriental costume image consisted of elegance, sexy, feminine. Through factor analysis about oriental costume image 7 factors were identified; Attention, Attractiveness, Sexiness, Activeness, Weightness, Classics, Classics, Maturity. It was found out strongly that Korean costume image was simple and comfort image, Chinese costume image was sexy and feminine image, Japanese costume image was luxurious and mature image.

심상그리기가 좌편 무시현상에 미치는 영향: 사례연구 (The Effects of a Mental Image Drawing on Left Neglect: a Case Study)

  • This study investigated to the effects of a mental image drawing in RHD patients with left neglect. Three subjects participated in this study. All subjects were right handed and native speaker of korean. In task 1, the patients were presented with visual stimulus card directly above the response sheet and were asked to draw the picture. In task 2, they were presented with items auditorily and asked to draw the picture(mental image drawing). In all experimental conditions, there was no response time limit. The results showed that the subjects showed left neglect leaving some space on the left side in task 1. And the picture was drawn the left side from the right in direction. However, the neglect disappeared in task 2. And the picture was drawn the right side from the left in direction. The results of the present study suggested that a mental image drawing technique can be effective in treating individuals who exhibit left neglect. Also, the picture direction showed that the korean normality was same.

의류상품 이미지에 의한 의복구매과정 모형 연구 (A Study on a Clothing Purchase Process Model Using Images of Clothing Merchandise)

  • It was assumed that a consumer forms images of all the factors related to clothing merchandise such as trademarks, stores, products and prices that he/she perceives in the market and those images deforming his/her preference for a particular piece of clothes and intention of purchase. Under this assumption, this research was designed to find out important factors of clothes that help a consumer form an image of the clothes, among other attributes of the merchandise, and how this image is related to the existing extraneous variables such as the trademark image, the consumer's self image, the price, etc. in leading the consumer to purchase the particular clothes in the end. In the empirical research, a preliminary survey was conducted to select brands of womenswear that were suitable for this study and as the result, 16 brands were chosen. Then one trademark, one store and two products from each of the 16 brands were selected. With these materials, 32 stimulus sheets were prepared, and each of them was composed of 3 photos of a brand's catalog and logo, the interior of a selected store that carried products of the brand, and formal suits selected from each brand's spring/summer 1993 collections. Subjects were 460 women in the age groups of 20-50s who live in Seoul Metropolitan area. Each of the subjects was provided with a survey questionnaire and 16 stimulus sheets. The main findings of this research prove that consumers follow a certain selection process model when they purchase clothes: consumers, first, from images of merchandise based on the trademarks, stares, and products and those formed images work il.: medium variables and in the end they help the consumers decide whether to buy the products.

다시점 동영상에서 임의시점영상 생성을 위한 가려진 영역 보상기법 (Compensation Method for Occluded-region of Arbitrary-view Image Synthesized from Multi-view Video)

  • 본 논문에서는 다시점 동영상에서 임의시점영상을 생성하기 위한 기법과 생성된 영상 내에 존재하는 미처리 영역을 보상하기 위한 전처리 및 후처리 기법을 제안한다. 임의시점영상을 생성하기 위한 방법으로는 카메라의 기하학적 특성을 이용하는 방법을 사용한다. 다시점 영상의 깊이정보와 카메라의 파라미터 정보를 이용하여 텍스쳐 영상 내 화소들의 실제 3차원 좌표를 얻어낼 수 있고, 산출된 3차원 좌표를 다른 시점 카메라의 2차원 영상면으로 재 배치함으로써 원하는 시점의 영상을 생성할 수 있다. 하지만 생성된 영상 내에는 다수의 미처리 영역이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 시간적인 중복성, 공간적인 방향성, 획득된 다시점 영상 또는 깊이정보의 오차의 특징을 고려하여 미처리 영역을 보상하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법을 적용한 결과 30dB 이상의 PSNR과 3.5이상의 DSCQS(double stimulus continuous quality scale method) 점수를 얻음으로써 객관적, 주관적 평가에서 모두 신뢰도가 높은 임의시점 영상을 생성할 수 있었다.

A Study on the Quantitative Functional Exploration of Vestivular Oculomotor System

  • This study describes the battery functional test in order to explore vestibular oculomotor system. These tests are the following : a) acceleration test by using a pseudorandom stimulus. b) caloric test by considering both the constant temperature variation in the semicircular canals for a short time and the only head movement, to the fore and the back, for the ear ir- rigation, which gave us two types of stimulus (cold and warm) according to the only head position. c) optokinetic test by continuous constant velocity displacement of a large image fill- ing the entire subject's visual field. With relation to the clinical practices, some results of research programs which are at present in progress are presented.

Reconstruction of surface spectral reflectance using RGB digital color signals

  • The Estimation method for spectral reflectance of the object using five-band and nine-band have been developed. The five-band acquisition are required of five or three times same work for color image acquisition process. To solve the above problems, we proposed a new method that can be reconstructed spectral reflectance of object. The proposed method was to classify same hues corresponding a color stimulus, by using hue angle and chroma vector of a color stimulus. The reconstruction of spectral reflectance was examined by computer simulation, and evaluated by MSE(Mean Square Error) and color difference between the original and reconstructed spectral reflectance.

실내 벽면녹화디자인 특성 연구 - 감성이미지 언어에 따른 선호도를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Characteristic of Indoor Green-Wall Design - With Focused on Preference of Emotional Image Language -)

  • 본 연구는 새롭게 조명되고 있는 실내 벽면녹화 공간화의 영역확대와 복합적이고 다 학문적 관점으로써 관람자 선호요인을 파악하여 실내 공간디자인에 관련한 다양한 정보를 구축하고자 하는 시도이다. 실내 벽면녹화의 사례를 자극물로 선정하여 관람자 선호시점에 대한 요인의 상호 상관 관계성을 구체적이고 개별적 특성으로 추출해냄으로써 폭 넓게 확산되고 있는 실내 벽면녹화 공간영역의 적용 가능성을 제안하였다. 요인분석 결과 관람자들은 자극물에 대해 '쾌적한, 멋진, 풍요로운'의 3가지 차원으로 구분하여 인지하고, 선호도와 상관관계가 높은 형용사 이미지 언어는 '시원한, 깔끔한, 자연스러운, 편안한, 아름다운' 이다. 자극물에 대한 선호디자인 요소의 공통되는 중요도는 색채>구성요소>이미지 형태 식물특성 순으로 나타났으며, 구체적인 디자인 수준별 요소는 대비조>가구>모던 중심형 넝쿨성 관엽식물 순으로 선호되는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 본 연구는 실내 벽면녹화디자인의 정량적 측정에 관련한 프로세스를 제안함으로써 새로운 디자인방향제시의 기회를 갖는데 의의를 두고 있으며, 신뢰도를 높이기 위한 지속적인 검증 연구가 필요하다고 본다.

직물 소재와 색상, 톤에 따른 감성 이미지 평가 - 한산모시와 면을 중심으로 - (The Effects of Color, Tones values on Image Perception of natural dyeing of Han-san Mosi and cotton)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of color, tone, perceiver's gender on image perception of natural dyeing of cotton and mosi. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimuli and response scale(The 7-point semantic). The stimuli was 20 fabrics manipulated with two kinds of fabrics(cotton, mosi), five colors(red, yellow, blue, green, purple) and two tone variations. The subjects were 412 adults in Daejeon and Kongju. The results were as follows: The perceived image of the stimulus material consisted of 4 dimensions (attractive, conspicuous, hand, weight) colors, tons, materials as well as perceiver's gender affected on some selected image dimensions color affected on the four image dimensions, tone affected on the conspicuous, hand and weight images, materials affected on the attractive and hand image and perceiver's gender affected on the weight image. Interaction effects existed among colors, tons and materials on the conspicuous image. In conclusion the results support gestalt theory in which the sum of the parts is bigger than the whole and design strategies for the Mosi fabrics should be developed on the basis of persuited design image as well as target consumers.

옷차림에 영향을 미치는 디자인 특성 연구 - 성인여성의 외출복을 중심으로 - (A Study on Design Properties Affecting in Wearing - Focused on Adult Women's Town Wear -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate design properties affecting in evaluated image by adult women's town wear in un-limited circumstance. The stimulus, adult women's town wear, were collected from shopping mall, department stores and churches and evaluated by 20's 150 people. Through the estimations, the 76 pictures of 'good image' and 65 pictures of 'bad image', were selected and analyzed by classification categories. The results were as follows : 1) 'Good Image' is classified 6 groups which are like active casual, feminine casual, adult casual, modern, sporty casual, and elegance. 2) "Bad Image' is classified 5 groups which are like easy casual, active casual, soft casual, modern casual, and feminine casual. 3) Central code of adult women's town wear from 'Good Image' are simple, bright, and harmony and 'Bad Image' are complicate, heavy, and inharmony. The coordination, how to wear, is very important to evaluate image of women's town wear with other properties. Also, body shape appeared by important variable in evaluation.
