The import of cartography is spoke for surveying technique level of the country. Also, it is the implied expression means about international operations amount in the world of people in the country. Nowadays, various digital maps on a reduced scale were drawn in Korea including the topographic series of a nation. Though these digital maps are drawn and revised by using aerial photogrammetry or satellite image, there are some problems that it is difficult to revise or renew the topography and natural feature immediately which changes frequently. As the countermeasures of these problems we use 3D Laser Scanning accumbency method, which provides user with convenience and accumbency accuracy which is required to revise and renew digital maps.

Creative application in elaborate techniques can not only make design constructs productive but also can widen designers' figurative perspectives. There are many techniques applied in fashion design such as folds, patchworks, embroidery, dyeing, industrial treatment, etc. In particular, folds play a significant part in enlightening clothes uniqueness in contemporary fashion design. The primary purpose of this study was to make new suggestion for the production of high value-added fashion goods by reviewing and synthesizing fold expressions. Diverse fold designs were retrieved through a comprehensive literature review on topic-related books, fashion dictionaries, and fashion encyclopedias. Significant cases of fashion designs using folds were retrieved from fashion magazines uploaded from 2000. There are three types of folds applied in fashion design. (1) The folds by needlework like tucks, smocking, shirring, and trimming type folds(ruffle, frill, flounce, and ruche). (2) The folds by chemical or mechanical treatment like permanent pleats and crinkle. (3) The folds of formative dress like drape. From a comprehensive review of the folds design cases after 2000, the following characteristics of folds design were identified: (1) a highlighted role in the whole, (2) mixture and deformation of techniques and materials, (3) 3-D surface effect, (4) creation of a unique figurative beauty, and (5) expression of diverse fashion image.

Romanticism factors in fashion since the 1990s is more about feminine softness and grace, and suggests the image of a fantastic cute and lovable girl with dreams. This study examined romanticism in literature focusing on the 19th century, which is considered the time of romanticism, and examined romanticism in men's fashion since the 1990s based on the newly found characteristics of romanticism. Romanticism in men's fashion since the 1990s can be divided into three categories of individual sensitivity pursuing romanticism, romanticism with a desire to aspire, and resistance inclined romanticism. First, individual sensitivity pursuing romanticism is the type that places importance on expression of emotions based on the values on individuals, and was expressed as either romanticism with sexual charm or as romanticism with an extremely feminine taste. Second, romanticism with a desire to aspire was the most prominent romanticism fashion type in men's fashion since the 1990s and it can be divided into four categories of aspiration of nature and time, aspiration of the past and romanticism, aspiration of childhood and aspiration of new exotic cultures. Third, resistance inclined romanticism was expressed as romanticism that is inclined to resist against materialism and romanticism that resists against youth culture.

This study intended to analyze the grunge look as a mode of expression and as a characteristic of the fashion of the 21st century, arguing that the look expressed not only an outward appearance or sub-culture but also a change in our attitude and spirit about contemporary fashion. In the study, I carried out an empirical analysis focused on the collection from 2001S/S to 2010F/W and a literature review. In my results, I classified the grunge look into the following categories: 1. mix and match layering; 2. patchwork, collages, and assemblage using all objects as well as clothing materials; and 3. distressing techniques, such as bleaching and dyeing, unweaving, and tears and holes. I also classified the characteristics of grunge into the following categories: 1. conspicuous destitution, which is intentionally expressed by skillful techniques and craftsmanship, indicating that modern people want to attract attention and be distinguished from others, which reflects an attitude of superiority through ironic fashion choices; 2. high lighting the dissolution of decoration, where destruction, poverty and recombination shown in the grunge look emerged as an artificial and intentional ugly aesthetic in contrast to the existing elegant and sophisticated image; and 3. satire and playfulness, as grunge expresses alienation and conflict in modern society through satire and sarcasm, not attacking or avoiding, but through playful and sarcastic engagement so as to decrease poverty and give temporary freedom.

The theory of embodied cognition assumes that behaviors, senses and cognitions are closely connected, and there is a growing interest in investigating the significance of embodied cognition in the field of mathematics education. This study aims to applicate the embodied turtle metaphor and expressions when students visualize three-dimensional objects. We used MRT(Verdenberg & Kuse, 1978) & SVT for this research and both tests turned out that turtle schemes are useful to the students in a low level group. In addition, students found turtle schemes more useful in SVT which requires constructing three-dimensional objects, than in MRT which requires just rotating the image of three-dimensional objects in their mind. These results suggest that providing students who are less capable of spatial visualizing with the embodied schemes like turtle metaphor and expressions can be an alternative to improve their spatial visualization ability.

This paper analyzes two films on the theme of love, and , which were released in 2002 and 2015 respectively, directed by Tod Haynes. Both movies have similar narratives of obstacles and overcoming of love, and deal with love that is not accepted by society. Two films conclude differently under similar situations, where the author's change can be observed. The purpose of this study is to examine the author's arguments and the process of change through comparison with the original novels and image expression method used in the films, especially focusing on the variations of characters in the original novels and Mise-en-scene and framing methods that visually depict the obstacles to the mind and love of lovers.

The purpose of this study is to express imagination which is not limited to the description of the facts and reproduce the photos as a media to explore the new possibilities for creative expression and the experience of the day-to-day operations for the implementation of the scheme of art genre. The art work for this study using digital images in Autodesk Combustion Workspace as the upper and lower layers were synthesized using the Transfer Mode feature. This study proposed a new photomontage production model, and challenged for the Possibility of a variety of visual representations of media art. Especially the production presents in this study can be applied to various video.

This paper proposes visual-feature extraction for each band in wavelet domain with both spatial frequency features and multi resolution features, and the combination of visual features using fuzzy integral. In addition, it uses color feature expression method taking advantage of the frequency of the same color after color quantization for reducing quantization error, a disadvantage of the existing color histogram intersection method. Also, it is found that the final similarity can be represented in a linear combination of the respective factors(Homogram, color, energy) when each factor is independent one another. With respect to the combination patterns the fuzzy measurement is defined and the fuzzy integral is taken. Experiments are peformed on a database containing 1,000 color images. The proposed method gives better performance than the conventional method in both objective and subjective performance evaluation.

In this paper, it is designed a processor using embedded system so that moving picture can be expressed on LED electric sign board which has been expressed a simple message only like as a character or graphic. It has been fabricated a moving picture LED electric sign board which is composed to a video processor and LED display panel, in order to be able to express a digital moving picture of 24 bits that is transmitted from embedded system. It includes gamma adjustment, brightness, color contrast control, a schedule function, expression image conversion by the Internet and memory device. Also, an application program based Windows CE is designed so that a character, graphic, and moving picture can be expressed on a small LED electric sign board.

This study focuses on the application of collage techniques to contemporary fashion and intends to show that collage techniques have a significant influence on contemporary fashion, leading to a more creative design aesthetic through the combination of fashion and art. The author carried out an empirical analysis focusing on domestic and global fashion collections from 2000S/S to 2010F/W, fashion publications, and internet data, along with a literature review. As a result, the papier-colle approach, as represented by cubism, showed a creative surface effect through the texture of the paper itself by applying real paper and other materials directly to the clothing items. Second, Dadaist ready-made expressed a distortion of the material and freedom of expression by creating a collage with ready-made fashion items and daily necessities. Third, a photomontage expressed unique images by printing various images of photos that contrasted in perspective. In addition to this, beauty in dissonance and a new sense of space by a collage of disparate material. Fourth, decalcomanie was expressed by printing methods, giving a stable image of the symmetry of the perfect landscape as well as the unintended effect of coincidence in abstract images and particular textures. Fifth, assemblage as the representative collage technique of pop art introduced the overall object itself or modified form by combining it with fashion to express three-dimensional aggregate structures.
