Problem on the Governing Body of National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives (NFFC) - from the perspective of the Honorary Office of NFFC President - (수산업협동조합중앙회장의 명예직화에서 본 지배구조의 문제점)

  • The amendment of regulation affecting the Governing Body of NFFC (National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives) has been known to the public in May 2008. Its essential points are as follow: 1) the President of NFFC shall be a non-standing officer. 2) the Full-Time Directors shall have the authority to deal with all subjects except for those especially reserved for the General Meeting or Board of Directors, while minimizing the authority of NFFC President. By providing this amendment, the government seeks to make the Governing body becomes professionalized and the management functions carried out by full-time professional board members. However, the amendment seems to pay no attention to the co-operative's identity and principles. In this context, five issues will be discussed: 1) Strengthening the separation between ownership and control of NFFC. 2) Weakening the authority of General Meeting. 3) The bounds of Audit Committee. 4) Consolidating the management control of the Full-Time Directors. 5) The loss of NFFC's Identity, followed by a summary and conclusion.

  • Data for this study were collected from 293 cases including the middle school students and their parents(151), the high school students and their parents(142). The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the level of inner control and self identity of parents is higher than that of the adolescents. Second, the level of family cohesion and adaptability of parents is higher than that of the adolescents. Third, on the satisfaction with family resource, there is no significant difference between adolescents and their parents. Finally, influential variables on satisfaction with family resources of adolescent and their parents are self identity and family cohesion.

  • The uses of drones are increasing despite the fact that many of us are still skeptical. In the near future, the data that will be created and used by them will be very voluminous, hence the need to find an architecture that allows good identity management and access control in a decentralized way while guaranteeing security and privacy. In this article, we propose an architecture using hyperledger fabric blockchain platform which will manage the identity in a secure way starting with the registration of the drones on the network then an access control thanks to Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and membership service provider (MSP) to enable decision-making within the system.

  • This paper investigates the identity of technology management by taking a look at the evolution of the field in the United States. The discipline was established since the World War II when the big research organization was firstly formed in the country. Its focus has varied according to the role of technology in a corporation and the relation of technology and society in general. We identify three distinct stages of the field: R&D management, or project management, theoretical understanding of innovation in the 70s and 80s, and the diffusion of technology management and its education. The recent discussion on a standard curriculum of technology management illustrates the lack of a coherent identity of the field, however this phenomenon should not be considered as pathological and it demonstrates the widened interfaces between technology and society. Furthermore, it implies the possibility and need of diverse approaches in technology management.

  • Today, Internet users start off using heavily SNS(Social Network Site) such like, Facebook, Twitter. The reason of the growth of using SNS would be closely related to the various services of gaming, playing, entertainment items, sharing information etc., provided by the SNS, technically, the most important one out of the services provided would be behaving of sharing knowledge among people who connected and networked in the site. In sum, we assume that the users may communicate well each other and pay attention to build closely a social network using that kind of activities. However, nevertheless the new trends of communications and sharing knowledge become popular, researchers have just began the research issues in explaining why Internet user rush into SNS and enjoy the time in there. Therefore, we investigate on the reasons of posting knowledge voluntarily in the SNS and how others response to the posted information and actually affected by the behavior. We appled personal relation and social identity theory for this study, which personal relation in SNS may affect on social identity and make them produce knowledge generation. We found that social identity and involvement in SNS is closely related and influence knowledge creation and generation. This empirical study resulted in the importance of social relations in SNS, which leads to a sharing knowledge.

  • The rural tourism in Korea is expanding in scope including experience tours and integrating with dining industry these days. The Rural Development Administration in Korea has been supporting the farm restaurant project across the nation as part of its efforts to utilize local or rural food recipes as tourism resource for seven years. Over the years, however, case studies are rarely done or reported regarding physical environment of farm restaurants. This study offers an opportunity for farm restaurateurs and policy makers related to recognize the importance of developing brand identity and inner culture contents for the rural community by presenting a case of integrated design marketing. In the study, definitions of the "authentic food" in Korea and other countries are compared before farm restaurants at home and abroad are investigated. It also addresses the foundation on the significance of physical environment and design to build a brand identity of authentic food. The case presented is naming, designing and developing logos and design applicable to various product packages for "Hwanggeum Bori Aechan", which is the barley (main crop in Gimje)- dish development project for Gimje, North Jeolla Province in 2012.

A Study on Improvement of Personal Identity Proofing Service(PIPS) Based on Alternative Methods of Resident Registration Number (온라인에서 주민등록번호 대체수단 기반의 본인확인서비스의 개선 방안 연구)

  • As online services become more and more popular due to the development of IT, non-face-to-face transactions are continuously increasing rather than face-to-face transactions. The personal identity proofing service(PIPS) based on the alternative method of the resident registration number is used for the purpose of confirming the identity of the other party on the Internet. However, in the case of the current PIPS, the personal information of the PIPS user is excessively provided to the online service provider. As a result, privacy problems of online users, shortage of choice of information providing options, and lack of differentiation of authentication methods are becoming problems. Therefore, this paper proposes a method to improve the PIPS based on the current resident registration number alternative method and to provide a method to differentiate the provision of excessive personal information. In the proposed method, we analyze trends and current status of overseas online PIPS in order to provide a method of providing differentiation of personal information and proposes an effective improvement method applicable to domestic.

The Impact of the Personality on the Adjustment in Mid-Life (성격특성에 따른 중년기의 적응에 관한 연구 -성역할 정체감과 내외통제적 성격을 중심으로-)

  • This study investigated the relationship between personality characteristics of individual and adjustment in the mid-life. The subjects of the study consisted of 374 married persons(185 men and 189 women) who live in Seoul and are 40 to 50 years old and whose last child is in middle school. Bem's short form BSRI, Rotter(1966)'s Internal-External Scale and Hayes & Stinnett(1977)'s MYLSS were used as measurements tools. The major results of the study were summarized as follows ; 1) While sex-role identity of middle aged men appeared in the follwing order ; Androgynous, masculine, undifferentiated, feminine, sec-role identity of middle aged women appeared in the following order ; Undifferentiated, androgynous, feminine, masculine. Both men and women had the moderate scores on the locus of control. The middle aged expressed a moderate level of life satisfaction with middle aged men reporting significantly a higher life satisfaction than did women. 2) Socio-demographic variables such as age, education, occuption and income have turned out to be significant on the life satisfaction of middle aged men. As for the life satisfacton of middle aged women, age, education, husband's occuption and religon had significant influences However, employment status of women, family structure, marital duration, number of child, status of last child, status of first child had no significant influences on Mid-life satisfaction. 3) Mid-life satisfaction of men and women was influenced significantly by sex-role identity and internal-external locus of control. Those men described as masculine and those women androgynous in the sex-role identity had the highest life satisfaction. On the other hand those of undifferentiated in the sex-role identity had the lowest life satisfaction. High levels of internal control were associated with high levels of life satisfaction. 4) The variables affecting the life satisfaction of middle aged men and women were education, income, sex-role identity, internal control. These 4 variables explained 27% of the life satisfaction of middle aged men and 24% of the life satisfaction of middle aged women.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of brand identity of coffee specialty stores on customer 's brand trust of customers, brand attachment, revisit intention, and word of mouth intention. A survey was conducted and 342 copies were used in the analysis of the structural equation model. As a result of the study, the brand identity was proved to have a positive effect on brand trust. In addition, brand trust has a positive effect on brand attachment, indicating that it affects affection on the brand depending on the degree of trust on the brand. Brand attachment had a positive influence on revisit intention and positive influence on word of mouth intention. Therefore, the proper construction of brand identity is linked to the acquisition of fixed customers by linking with the intention of repurchase, and it affects the profit generation of brand, so the brand manager can confirm that proper establishment of brand identity and marketing strategy should be set up.

Secure De-identification and Data Sovereignty Management of Decentralized SSI using Restructured ZKP (재구성된 영지식 증명을 활용한 탈중앙형 자기 주권 신원의 안전한 비식별화 및 데이터 주권 관리)

  • Decentralized SSI(Self Sovereign Identity) has become an alternative to a new digital identity solution, but an efficient de-identification technique has not been proposed due to the unique algorithmic characteristics of data transactions. In this study, to ensure the decentralized operation of SSI, we propose a de-identification technique that does not remove identifiers by restructuring the verification results of ZKP (Zero Knowledge Proof) into a form that can be provided to the outside by the verifier. In addition, it is possible to provide restructured de-identification data without the consent of data subject by proposing the concept of differential sovereignty management for each entity participating in verification. As a result, the proposed model satisfies the domestic personal information protection law in a decnetralized SSI, in addition provides secure and efficient de-identification processing and sovereignty management.
