The purpose of this paper is to propose convergence education for creative manpower training between foreign language and Information technology department's students. Academia and industry, and government have attempted a number of changes and efforts for the employment of university graduated students and they have also promoted various projects and plans to suggest a better way. But the graduates employment rate is still left as serious social problem. To solve this problem, we seek to propose convergence education plan to enhance the employment rate of foreign language department that is relatively low unlike other departments. This proposal will make a new paradigm in education - Creativity, Difference, Locality, and Convergence. Based on these paradigms, it is expected to overcome the limitation of labor market.

These days a great mix of traditional and digital contents such as movie, broadcasting, advertisement, e-books, music, game, animation, cartoon, character, knowledge information, and art performance are widely available. Many more are yet to come, with improved quality and added features. It is expected that all these contents will be evolved into a new breed of convergence content through the process of consolidation, expansion, integration, and recreation. Across the digital ecosystem, a new formula is being added to the industrial structure : 'Information/Content-Platform/Device-Goods/Service.' In the near future, as a result of technological innovation and convergence, the business sector will lose its boundaries as well, as businesses will be forced to look beyond the product itself and focus more on multi-functionality. Especially, in the era of creative economy, more policies need to be crafted in order to procure a new growth engine for the future with the agenda for convergence between humanities and technology. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to analyze the concept, factors, elements, types, and cases of convergence, which are the essence of content convergence. This analysis, with its focus on the convergence process, will help identify the effects and limits of content convergence as well as the prospects for convergence contents in the smart ecosystem under the creative economic system.

The purpose of this paper is an analysis of the difference between convergence majors and single majors in the convergence core competency and educational performance. We used survey data for the analysis of the convergence core competencies, the results of the midterm and final exams for the education performance. Analysis targets are 10 students in big data business intelligence at Seokyeong University as convergence majors and 11 students in business administration as single majors. The target course was an analysis of economic data provided in the second semester of 2019. And the lecture contents were analysis of big data using R programming. The survey was conducted on December 5, 2019. The convergence core competences were creative thinking, critical thinking, understanding convergence knowledge, problem solving ability, communication skills, cooperation ability, use of convergence tools, consideration, and responsibility. As results of homogeneity tests, we found that there was no significant difference in all competencies, but there were very significant differences in the educational performance evaluated by the midterm and final exams. Therefore we can see willingness to convergence of single majors was no different from that of convergence majors, but had not led to practice. It is desirable to activate and support convergence courses.

The paradigm of convergence R&D is shifting from the convergence of technologies to the convergence of solutions to solve the complex problems of scientific and social development. On the other hand, it is prevalent that there is a lack of convergence in our research field. Although Korea has invested heavily in fusion research and development, Korea has mainly focused on the application and development of technology, so failed to plan convergence R&D in line with the new paradigm. Therefore, in this study, we searched for convergence R&D area that is being done to solve social problems, and tried to make use of data-driven objective methods. For this purpose, we used the investment information of global R&D projects that had no retrospective properties and derived the convergence R&D area related to coastal flooding.

The concept of lacunary statistical convergence of triple sequences with respect to gradual 2-normed linear spaces is introduced in this research. We learn about its link to some inclusion and fundamental properties. The notion of lacunary statistical Cauchy triple sequences is introduced in the conclusion, and it is demonstrated that it is equivalent to the idea of lacunary statistical convergence.

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector is undergoing a fundamental transformation. Determinant factors in this transformation process are deregulations and technological advancements. From the value chain perspective, industry convergence plays the most crucial role in the transformation of the established telecommunications and media industries. The objective of this paper is to validate the impact of convergence on the business performance using empirical data. To identify the various effects driven by industry convergence, we analyzed the relationships between firm's degree of convergence and the business performance using regression analysis. From the empirical result with the 2002-2005 data, it was found that the convergence across ICT sectors improves the business performance measured by Tobin's q significantly and this is only a recent phenomenon. These results are consistent with the conjecture that higher degree of convergence is becoming more associated with higher market value.

A novel bumping material, which is composed of a resin and Sn3Ag0.5Cu (SAC305) solder power, has been developed for the maskless solder-on-pad technology of the fine-pitch flip-chip bonding. The functions of the resin are carrying solder powder and deoxidizing the oxide layer on the solder power for the bumping on the pad on the substrate. At the same time, it was designed to have minimal chemical reactions within the resin so that the cleaning process after the bumping on the pad can be achieved. With this material, the solder bump array was successfully formed with pitch of 150 ${\mu}m$ in one direction.

In the age of full scale IoT, concept of "security convergence" has been popularized widely. However, it is not clear whether current "security convergence" concept reflects IoT characteristics and traits. In this thesis, a new concept, complementing "security convergence" concept researches up to date, has been suggested considering IoT characteristics. Required governance methodology and key technical factors are suggested for re-establishment of "security convergence" concept and for enterprise security strategy development.

While an increasing number of people across diverse audience groups are engaging in discussions about the onset of the 4th industrial revolution, it remains challenging to pinpoint the symptoms of this phenomenon. This research, recognizing this difficulty, employed a time-series data-tuned cluster analysis to uncover evidence of industrial and technological convergence among the United States, Japan, and Korea by using time-series industrial R&D data and industrial wage data as indirect measures of industrial competitiveness and technology convergence. The results showed that the recent U.S. case of 2010-2019 data clearly featured the" phenomenon Tesla", which shows the convergence of Aerospace, Transportation equipment, and software. Supporting evidence for that comes from the results from the previous periods in the three countries, which shows a high concentration of cor manufacturing sectors, but no symptoms of convergence.

In many cases, obesity is associated with metabolic disorders. Recently, natural compounds that may be beneficial for improving obesity have received increasing attention. Bitter melon has received attention as a diabetes treatment. $NAD^+$-dependent deacetylase (Sirtuin 1, SIRT1) has emerged as a novel therapeutic target for metabolic diseases. In this study, ethanol extract of bitter melon (BME) suppressed adipocyte differentiation and significantly increased the expression of SIRT1 in fully differentiated 3T3-L1 cells. Moreover, it enhanced the activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK). In high-fat diet (HFD)-fed induced-obesity mice, BME suppressed HFD-induced increases in body weight and white adipose tissue (WAT) weight. BME also increased the expression of SIRT1 and suppressed peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor and sterol regulatory element binding protein 1 expressions of WAT from HFD-fed mice. These findings suggest that BME prevents obesity by activating the SIRT1 and AMPK pathway and that it may be a useful dietary supplement for preventing obesity.
