수학과 교과역량으로서의 정보처리 능력의 해석과 적용: 2015 개정 중학교 수학 교과서를 중심으로 (Interpretation and application of information processing competency as mathematical competency: A case of middle school mathematics textbooks under the 2015 revised curriculum)

  • 본 연구는 수학과 교과역량으로서의 정보처리 능력이 어떻게 해석, 적용되고 있는지 교과서 분석을 통해 탐구하였다. 중학교 1-3학년 10종 30권 교과서의 191개 과제를 정보처리 능력 하위요소에 따라 분석한 결과, 하위요소별, 교과서별로 차이가 컸으며 공통적으로 '공학적 도구 및 교구 활용'에 매우 치우쳐 있었다. 과제 유형별로도 해석과 적용 방법의 다양성이 발견되었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 정보처리 능력 함양을 위한 개선 방향과 시사점을 논의하였다.

라쉬 모델을 사용한 본초학 시험의 학업역량 분석 연구 (Study on the Academic Competency Assessment of Herbology Test using Rasch Model)

  • Objectives: There should be an objective analysis on the academic competency for incorporating Computer-based Test (CBT) in the education of traditional Korean medicine (TKM). However, the Item Response Theory (IRT) for analyzing latent competency has not been introduced for its difficulty in calculation, interpretation and utilization. Methods: The current study analyzed responses of 390 students of 8 years to the herbology test with 14 items by utilizing Rasch model, and the characteristics of test and items were evaluated by using characteristic curve, information curve, difficulty, academic competency, and test score. The academic competency of the students across gender and years were presented with scale characteristic curve, Kernel density map, and Wright map, and examined based on T-test and ANOVA. Results: The estimated item, test, and ability parameters based on Rasch model provided reliable information on academic competency, and organized insights on students, test and items not available with test score calculated by the summation of item scores. The test showed acceptable validity for analyzing academic competency, but some of items revealed difficulty parameters to be modified with Wright map. The gender difference was not distinctive, however the differences between test years were obvious with Kernel density map. Conclusion: The current study analyzed the responses in the herbology test for measuring academic competency in the education of TKM using Rasch model, and structured analysis for competency-based Teaching in the e-learning era was suggested. It would provide the foundation for the learning analytics essential for self-directed learning and competency adaptive learning in TKM.

한국의 환자중심 의사 역량 연구 (Patient-Centered Doctor's Competency Framework in Korea)

  • With increasing demands for medical care by society, the medical system, and general citizens and rapid changes in doctor's awareness, the competencies required of doctors are also changing. The goal of this study was to develop a doctor's competency framework from the patient's perspective, and to make it the basis for the development of milestones and entrustable professional activities for each period of medical student education and resident training. To this end, a big data analysis using topic modeling was performed on domestic and international research papers (2011-2020), domestic newspaper articles (2016-2020), and domestic social networking service data (2016-2020) related to doctor's competencies. Delphi surveys were conducted twice with 28 medical education experts. In addition, a survey was conducted on doctor's competencies among 1,000 citizens, 407 nurses, 237 medical students, 361 majors, and 200 specialists. Through the above process, six core competencies, 16 sub-competencies, and 47 competencies were derived as subject-oriented doctor's competencies. The core competencies were: (1) competency related to disease and health as an expert; (2) competency related to patients as a communicator; (3) competency related to colleagues as a collaborator; (4) competency related to society as a health care leader (5) competency related to oneself as a professional, and (6) competency related to academics as a scholar who contributes to the development of medicine.

  • 본 연구는 IT 중소기업을 대상으로 조직원들의 경력을 개발하기 위해 이들에게 필요한 부문별 역량추출 및 이를 바탕으로 하는 개발시스템을 설계하고 개발하는 초안을 구성하기 위한 것이 목적이다. 우리나라 대기업 환경에서 조직원들의 경력개발 및 이들의 역량개발을 위한 교육 및 훈련, 업무배치 등은 이미 오래전부터 관심의 대상이고 많은 연구를 하고 있지만, 적은 수의 조직원들 대상으로 하는 중소기업의 환경에서 각 조직원들의 역량을 고려한 경력개발 시스템은 개발이 어려운 것이 현실이다. 본 연구는 이에 초점을 맞추어 IT 중소기업의 조직원들을 대상으로 이들의 직무와 역량에 대한 분석을 통하여 기술, 관리, 사업관리 영역의 경력개발 경로를 설정하고 이에 맞도록 역량을 개발하기 위한 설계안을 연구하였다. 중소기업의 특성상 기술과 이에 대한 관리, 그리고 기술을 상품화하기 위한 마케팅 역량은 기업경영의 핵심이 되며 조직원들은 자신의 역량을 교육과 훈련 및 보상과 승진으로 향상할 수 있다고 판단하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 통하여 중소기업의 조직원들이 본인의 업무와 맞는 역량을 개발하기 위해 시스템 안에서 이들의 적성과 경력개발 계획 그리고 그에 따른 교육훈련의 추천경로를 통해 자발적으로 자신의 경력을 진단하고 개발할 수 있는 환경을 제공하고자 하였다.

  • The nature of work which is changing has increased the importance of HRD within organization. Also, these changes are making HRD shift its paradigm : from the segregated, closed, operational & administrative, dependent, utilitarian view to the integrative, open, strategic & facilitative, interdependent, generative view. The shifts of the perspective on HRD cause HRD professionals rethink the purpose and definition of HRD, and the role & competency needed to HRD in 21st century. The findings which are drawn through literature review and researcher’s intuition based on a long field experience are as follows. First, The function of HRD has recently been much more important then that of the past. Second, There is no consensus over the conceptual identity of HRD. Nonetheless, it is apparent that the preferred activities of the HRD function is performance improvement. Third, It is too difficult that we should define clearly the role & competency of HRD because of diverse perspectives on them. But we find much evidence converging to support the fact that the role & competency of HRD should be extended from the sole focus on training & development to adding the additional role & competency of change agent, who includes planning, implementing, and managing change.

외국 전공의 수련교육의 제도 및 시사점 (Overseas Residency Training Systems and Implications for Korea)

  • Medical education, competency, and outcome-based medical education started as part of the basic medical education curriculum in advanced countries 20 years ago, and such an approach was adopted in residency training. General competency training is at the core of residency training in advanced countries, and it goes beyond competency and outcome-based training to the extent that in a milestone training system, competency development is expected and measured with set competency achievements at each level. Recently, for the purpose of ensuring that doctors uphold patient safety and fulfill their obligations, entrustable professional activities (EPA) were applied at the beginning of residency when doctors move away from clinical trials and start actual care. The adoption of EPA in all residency training curriculum has spread very rapidly in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada. Presently, Korea lags behind other countries significantly as the adoption of competency and outcome-based medical education in residency training has just begun. It is time to identify the current state of the Korean residency training system, and then design and practice a well-established system with a long-term view based on cooperation across the whole medical industry.

사상체질의학 역량중심의 임상실기 내용 개발을 위한 제언 (Recommendation for Development of Clinical Skill Contents in the Competency-Based Sasang Constitutional Medicine Education)

  • An outcome-based curriculum or competency-based curriculum is regarded to be one of the mainstream curricula to make students centered. It is believed to be able to support a flexible, time-independent curriculum. However, it is not easy for the curriculum developers to convert from the traditional curriculum to an competency-based curriculum. Traditional medicines including Sasang constitutional medicine(SCM) have been on the verge of transforming their curricula. Considering the contents of the clinical skills in terms of an outcome-based curriculum in SCM, at least five categories needs to be covered. First, curriculum developers need to consider the understanding of relevant diseases concerning SCM although SCM could be used as the method to treat all kinds of diseases. Second, curriculum developers facilitate the students to diagnose patients' SCM types. Third, curriculum developers conduct the establishment of competencies to understand the patterns of SCM symptomology. Fourth, curriculum developers develop the diverse treatment methods and procedures to make students participate. Fifth, curriculum developers make students teach and consult their patients in terms of SCM regimen. Development of the clinical skill contents in detail depends on the situation of each colleges. Competency-based medical curriculum in SCM could influence on the management of the curriculum quality.

국립부산과학관 전시물과 2015 개정 교육과정과의 연계성 분석 - 핵심역량과 3~6학년을 중심으로 - (Analysis of the Relation between Exhibitions in Busan National Science Museum and 2015 Revised Curriculum - Focusing on the Key Competencies and the 3rd-6th Grades -)

  • With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, the educational innovation focusing on the key competencies is occurring in the whole world. In September 2015, the Ministry of Education suggested six key competencies such as self-management competency, knowledge/information processing competency, creative thinking competency, aesthetic sensibility competency, communication competency, and community competency for the 2015 revised national curriculum. Also, this era requires for diverse lessons like subject integrated/converged lesson and intramural/extramural education. Thus, the objective of this study is to research/analyze exhibitions of Busan National Science Museum as extramural educational institute and to relate between the 2015 revised curriculum and exhibitions of science museum. First, the exhibitions of permanent exhibition hall in Busan National Science Museum were researched/analyzed. It analyzed the current status, display type, and explained contents of exhibitions. Second, it analyzed the relations between contents of the exhibition and key competencies in the 2015 revised curriculum. Third, the 2015 revised curriculum for the 3rd and 6th grade related to the selected exhibition contents was analyzed. The analysis on the exhibition contents performed by this study would be helpful for follow-up researches connected to exhibitions of Busan National Science Museum.

응급실 간호사의 중증도 분류 역량에 대한 개념분석 (Concept Analysis of Triage Competency in Emergency Nursing)

  • Purpose : This concept analysis identified attributes and defined triage competency among emergency nurses. Method : Walker and Avant's approach was used to guide the concept analysis. A literature review was completed including 26 studies, 5 reports of related associations, and 5 books. Results : The concept of triage competency in emergency nurses was identified as five attributes: clinical judgment, expert assessment, management of medical resources, timely decision, and communication. Antecedents of the concept were triage education and emergency room experience. The consequences of the concept were efficiency of care, patient rating, and safety. Triage competency in emergency nurses was defined as the comprehensive ability to prioritize patients' urgency and allocate limited medical resources. Conclusion : This study is meaningful since it clarified triage competency among emergency nurses. The attributes and empirical indicators of this study will likely lay the foundation for development of triage competency metrics.

A Methodology for Measuring End-User e-Business Competency

  • In e-Business environment, end-user e-Business capability is necessitated for performing his or her given tasks and improving his or her business performance in an enterprise of e-Business environment. An instrument of an end-user e-Business competency is extracted from the major components of a general competency. Through a pilot test, this study performed factor analysis, and proposed a 16-item instrument that can measure an end-user e-Business competency in e-Business environment. The application of the instrument is confirmed by applying it to measuring e-Business competency of end-users in an enterprise of e-Business environment and by presenting the measurement results for them.
