NCS proposal for industrial security (산업보안 분야에 대한 NCS 제안)

  • Modern society is developing rapidly and technologies that provide convenience in living are developing day by day. On the other hand, the development of cyber attacks that threaten cybersecurity is developing faster, and it still adversely affects the industrial environment, and industrial damage is steadily occurring every year. Industrial security is an activity that safely protects major assets or technologies of companies and organizations from these attacks. Therefore, it is a situation that requires professional manpower for security. Currently, the manpower situation for security is staffed, but knowledge of the understanding and concept of industrial security jobs is insufficient. In other words, there is a lack of professional manpower for industrial security. It is the NCS that came out to solve this problem. NCS is the state standardized ability (knowledge, attitude, skills, etc.) necessary to perform duties in the industrial field. NCS can systematically design the curriculum using NCS as well as help in hiring personnel, and NCS can be applied to the national qualification system. However, in the field of industrial security, NCS has not yet been developed and is still having difficulties in hiring personnel and curriculum. Although the NCS system in the field of industrial security has not been developed, this paper proposes the industrial security NCS to solve the problem of hiring professionals later and to help the field of industrial security NCS to be established later.

Educational Policy Proposals through Analysis of the Perception of Bigdata for University Students (학부생의 빅데이터 인식 분석을 통한 교육정책 제언)

  • In Korea, despite the increase in demand for Bigdata manpower, institutions and universities to educate and train Bigdata manpower are not yet much. Therefore, this study investigated the status regarding the recognition on Bigdata of universities students and presented a direction for educating Bigdata manpower at the university. In order to accomplish this purpose, this study surveyed and analyzed the students' understanding of Bigdata, the awareness of the students about the social impact of Bigdata, the learning intention of the students on Bigdata and presented Implications for Bigdata workforce development. As a result, despite of the somewhat difference in understanding for the Bigdata, it was found that their awareness about the impact of Bigdata is very positive. And this study showed the need of universities' and government' political effort for Bigdata workforce development, because it was investigated that students' intentions of learning for Bigdata is proportional to students' understanding levels and learning experience for Bigdata.

A Study of Activities and Demand on Welfare Nursing in Korea (사회복지분야의 간호활동실태 및 간호수요에 관한 연구)

  • Social security is concerned with ensuring all citizens maintain basic needs, community health nursing maintains and promotes health for all community members. Lately, This new area of community health nursing, concern social welfare has increased. The objectives of this study are, first, to analysis the activities of nurses at community social welfare institutes, second, to estimate nursing demand for social welfare areas. The study methods used were as literature review, an analysis of statistical data and case study etc. The analytical framework also included a demand analysis of nursing manpower in community social welfare areas. The major results are as follows; 1. Employees which work at social welfare institutes number 55,464, nursing manpower (including nurse aids) number 1,458 and this is 3% of the total employees. Within nursing manpower, nurses number 780, nurse aids number 670. 2. The rates of nurses among total employees were high in institutes for mental disorders and institutes for the age. 3. The salary level of nurses was lower than average and the rates of retirement showed a roughly middle level in welfare institutes. 4. The satisfaction level of nursing services was high, and it is the trend that nurses substitute for nurse aids which retire at social welfare institutes. 5. Nurse demand that follows legal criteria is 2,221, but only 35% are working. It is therefore insufficient from the minimum of 733 to a maximum 1433. 6. The sufficiency rates by institution were high at institutes for vagrants, aged and the handicapped. In conclusion, the conditions are of nurses which are working in with the social welfare institutes are poor. Also the number of nurses compared rates of demand were in surplus. But, the basic direction of welfare policy is universal-preventive and provision of the family and of community centered service, and nursing service demand in the social welfare institute will increase continuously, we predict. Therefore, we will need a positive plan such as the development of an inservice education program and the construction of an information collection system etc.

A Survey of Dentists and Dental Hygienists on Dental Team Composition and Work Assignments (치과의사 및 치과위생사의 치과팀 구성 및 업무 분장에 대한 견해)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the status and views on the dental team composition and works, the experience of a dental manpower shortage and opinions on the solution. The subjects were 313 dentists and dental hygienists. The mobile questionnaires were conducted on the status of dental team composition and works, the experience of a dental manpower shortage and opinions on the solution. There was no big difference between the current dental team composition and ideal composition ratio, and dentists answered that it would be more ideal to reduce dental hygiene and increase nurse assistant when the working dentist was 3~5. 85.6% of the dentists and 56.4% of the dental hygienists had difficulty in employing the dental auxiliary personnel. The difficulty level was 8 out of 10 points among dentists and 5.7 points among dental hygienists. 91.1% of the dentists and 95.5% of the dental hygienists agreed on the necessity of expanding the dental hygienist's work. The dental works were temporary crown making and setting, surgical operation assistance, and overall dental assistance. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to continuously make efforts to communicate with the dental personnel in Korea to solve a lot of problems such as the job assignment, the dental personnel policy and system, and the work environment.

Improvement Direction on the Assignment of Safety Managers in the Construction Site (건설안전관리자 선임기준의 개선방향 연구)

  • In consideration of current circumstances which management activities for safety performance on construction sites are mostly controlled by safety personnel, it is necessary to maintain qualified safety personnel those who are experienced and have adequate ability. This is a major factor in order to prevent any of work related incident in the construction site. However, the existing standard which enforces certain number of safety personnel in the construction site aligning with respective contract amount could lead to difficulties for proactive safety management. So, it is required to get improvement on the existing standard. In nominating the proper number of safety personnel, it would be more efficient to consider the level of risk for characteristic of work itself and the total number of manpower mobilized in respective construction work, rather than to follow the existing standard of manpower ratio as per the contract amount. Hence, this study aims to propose several plans which enable to improve the existing standard for assignment of safety personnel on construction sites.

  • A lot of B2C Internet shopping mall companies are establishing various strategies in order to make a result to be further better than it. But They are experiencing trouble by restriction like manpower or financial issue. Therefore, frying to grasp how an assistance degree of a company In B2C Internet shopping mall success factors affects will be important information in resources distribution of management strategic which is established by B2C Internet shopping mall company to survives in unlimited competition. In this paper, It is purpose to find which is success factors affecting to a finance and the other part of results in B2C Internet shopping mall companies. In order to achieve a study purpose, we make a model by literature study and inquiries and analysis the result data. Consequently for successful B2C Internet shopping mall operation, it needs a assistance of a company fully. But the company which shall get a maximum effect with resources limited is difficult to assistance fully. This study will be used to establish strategies of distribution of resources appropriately for the company which is not fully assist B2C Internet shopping mall operation because of restrictions of manpower, material and finance.

Implementation of Hydrological Survey Scheduling using Real-Time Water Level Information (실시간 수위정보를 활용한 수문조사 스케줄링 구현)

  • Hydrological survey measurement technology has improved due to the introduction of high-tech equipment and advances in technology, but hydrological survey still requires a lot of manpower and time, and the manpower invested is very limited compared to the size and scope of work. In addition, although automatic flow measurement facilities are in operation, it is difficult to expand them nationwide due to limited field conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the operating infrastructure and environment rather than the measurement technology itself for hydrological investigation. In addition, in terms of flow investigation, it is necessary to schedule an investigation using real-time water level information in order to inventory the accuracy of the water-flow relationship equation and improve work efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, research related to domestic hydrological surveys was analyzed and a hydrological survey scheduling system using real- time water level information based on Open API was implemented to increase the economic and efficiency of hydrological surveys.

A Study on the Safety Consciousness Survey of Old Workers (노령근로자의 안전의식 설문조사에 관한 연구)

  • Recently unemployed construction workers are increasing because of construction recession. But the lack of manpower occurs at the same time, in construction sites. So, the excess of workforce supply and demand exists in construction sites. Construction companies have a difficulty in seeking young skilled workers due to this problem. In this study, construction accidents reported by Korean Occupational Safety and Health Agency from 2007 to 2010 were analyzed. It has shown that 50-54, 45-49 and 55-59 year old workers formed 22%, 18% and 17% respectively. This means that old workers becomes a real problem in construction. This research has shown that old workers didn't have much more accidents than young workers, construction accidents related to the employment period of workers.

  • The Korean economic condition needs continuous development of the marine product industries basically, and for this purpose a study on the education and training system of the technical manpower for this field is required. Moreover, the sea and its resources are not only to be utilized these days but also to be conserved for our descendants. To achieve this goal, the national support and the people's understanding on the marine product industries are very important at the first, and also the fisheries education must be activated to educate and train the technical manpower who will engage in this industrial field in the future. Especially it is necessary to develop and operate the most appropriate curricula drawn up inconsideration of each local characteristics for the fisheries education at the middle schools and high schools in Korea.

  • In this study, it was accomplished to analyze the productivity and manpower through the activity of rebar work for the application of rational construction cost in apartment house. And the rebar work is very important in the view of the expense and safety, and durability in the construction of R/C structure. Also the rebar work is very affected with productivity owing to the lack of manpower and materials cost rise.
