The study of leadership has been an important and central part of various organizations. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the literature on organizational leadership, with an emphasis on recent trends and developments likely to dominate the field through the turn of the century. Leadership has been studied in different ways, depending on the researcher's conception of leadership and methodological preferences. Most of the studies divide naturally into distinct lines of research and can be classified according to whether the primacy focus is on leader traits, behavior, influence, or situational factors. Charismatic and transformational, and self leadership, a subject that became popular in recent years, can be viewed as a hybrid approach that involves elements from each of the other approaches. Finally, it discussed implication of the present study and the research required in the future.

In this paper, we proposed leadership development instruction program for liberal arts class to develop university students' leadership skill using Flipped Learning methodology, and showed the results which were obtained from classes where we applied the program. Leadership ranks high in the skills of those employed by businesses. But it is not easy to develop and exercise leadership. There are many leadership classes for students in Universities, they focus on theoretic, not practical aspects. Flipped Learning could be an efficient instruction learning tool to develop leadership, and has gained much interest lately due to its process involving prior study(pre-class) followed by the students' classroom involvement(in-class). Most of the students taking a course recognize improvement of their leadership skill and have positive results by the proposed program.

The purpose of this study sought to determine the impact of shared leadership perceived by organizational members on team effectiveness and team learning behavior. For this purpose, the results of the empirical analysis of 206 organizational members are as follows. First, shared leadership was analyzed to improve team effectiveness. Second, shared leadership had a positive effect on team learning behavior. Third, team learning behavior was statistically significantly analyzed for team effectiveness. This study confirmed the importance of shared leadership, which has a positive impact on team effectiveness and team learning behavior. This may require building a new culture that can demonstrate the inherent leadership of organizational members in the influence relationship between shared leadership, team effectiveness, and team learning behavior. In other words, in order to systematically demonstrate and implement shared leadership, the execution ability of executives, managers, and working-level managers is important. To this end, it is necessary to build an organizational culture that matches the characteristics of the organization and develop and continuously implement human resource development systems and programs that can implement this.

Recently, PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) Projects, which private companies invest in, plan, design, construct and operate, have become more popular around the world. The construction industry environment is becoming increasingly competitive. The PPP project is composed of various organizations, so it is very difficult to carry out the project successfully. In this environment, the construction companies are trying hard to secure a competitive advantage. In this study, we tried to identify the role of project manager's leadership and project citizenship behavior as a precedent for creating performance in PPP (Private-Public-Partnership) project. We examine the impact of PM's transformational leadership and transactional leadership on project citizen behavior and examine the impact of project citizen action on project management performance and completion performance. For this study, we conducted a questionnaire survey on PPP project participants. As a result, the following results were obtained. First, transformational leadership and transactional leadership had a significant influence on project citizenship behavior. Second, project citizen behavior had a significant impact on both project management performance and project completion performance. The idealized influence of transformational leadership and the Active management by exception of transactional leadership were found to be very important in shaping PPP team's project citizenship behavior. Therefore, this study has academic implications in studying the effects of PM leadership and project citizenship behavior on the performance of PPP project. And it is expected that it will help selection and training of PM to secure a competitive advantage for construction companies that implement PPP projects practically.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of supervisor's coaching leadership on positive psychological capital and organizational commitment of organizational members in order to investigate the effect of supervisor's coaching leadership on organizational effectiveness in modern organizations. Methods: In this study, a survey was conducted on members of the organization in the company, and the hypothesis was verified using statistical analysis methods. Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that promotion and guide as coaching leadership of supervisors had a positive effect on positive psychological capital. Second, it was found that the supervisor's guide had a positive effect on the employee's organizational commitment. Third, it was found that positive psychological capital had a positive effect on organizational commitment. Finally, it was found that the guide had a significant effect on organizational commitment through positive psychological capital. Conclusion: This study suggested that it is necessary to enhance organizational effectiveness by effectively demonstrating the coaching leadership of superiors at the organizational level.
The relationship between buyers and sellers is changing into a long-term relationship. A number of distribution channel researchers have determined that the behavior of distribution channel members can be characterized by relational exchanges. The members of relational distribution channels may be perceived as strategic partners; however, even within these arrangements, member asymmetries may exist, which can create unequal distributions of power and dependence. Thus, as all distribution channel members may not be equal in power, it is possible that a less-dependent channel leader may emerge. Therefore, leadership in distribution channels is a very important variable. Distribution channel leadership can be defined as the activities undertaken by the distribution channel leader to influence the marketing programs and strategies of channel members. A distribution channel's performance is influenced by the leadership style of the channel leader. Although research on channel leadership styles can be broadly categorized, many researchers have dealt with analyzing distribution channel leadership by using the power-influence approach, which includes looking at variables, such as power, power base, and influence strategies. Moreover, they have examined the direct relationship between leadership styles and performance. Many distribution channel scholars have attempted to justify the application of leadership styles identified in alternative leadership theories to the inter-organizational context of distribution channels. They have made suggestions regarding how great the usefulness of leadership style as a strategy is to secure the compliance of distribution channel members and have conceptually and empirically linked it to channel-related phenomena, such as manifest conflict, cooperation, channel efficiency, and effectiveness. However, as few empirical studies have examined the antecedents and consequences of leadership styles, research on leadership style can be considered nascent. Thus, it is required to investigate the antecedents and consequences of the leadership style of a distribution channel leader. This study aims to empirically identify whether there are influences of the antecedents of leadership on two different leadership styles, and to reveal whether these leadership styles induce any consequences. The research subjects were 220 franchisees. Research findings are as follows: First, the results show a positive effect of technological capability on transformational relationships. However, it does not have a significant effect on transactional leadership. Second, innovation-oriented organizational culture has negatively influenced both leaderships. However, task-oriented organizational culture positively and significantly influenced both forms of leadership. Third, the ethics of leaders has influenced both leadership styles positively and significantly. Fourth, regarding consequences, transformational leadership strengthens financial performances, whereas it weakens relational citizenship behaviors. However, transactional leadership positively influences relational citizenship behavior whilst negatively affecting financial performance.
Purpose: This study investigates the degree of self-leadership and self-care in primigravida and multigravida. Method: For this study, the questionnaires were given to 90 primigravida, 95 multigravida who visit woman hospital in Taegu and collected during the period from 16th February to 26th March, 2004. Data were analyzed by SPSS Wins. Result: The degree of self-leadership and self-care in primigravida was higher than multigravida. The comparison of self-leadership and self-care by the demographic characteristics between primigravida and multigravida were as follows; there was statistically significant difference according to education in self-leadership; age, education, religion, occupation, economic status and type of family in thought self-leadership; age, religion and occupation in self-care. The comparison of self-leadership and self-care by the obstetric characteristics between primigravida and multigravida were as follows; there was statistically significant difference according to frequency of abortion in self-leadership, self-management and natural reward; frequency of abortion, period of pregnancy and attending of childbirth education in thought self-leadership; frequency of abortion and period of pregnancy in self-care. Conclusion: Primigravida in self-leadership and self-care would have higher than those of multigravida. Further study needs to be done to identify in primigravida and multigravida. Also it should be developed self-leadership promoting programs for multigravida.
This study incorporates the structural relationships between leadership styles (LS), affect climate (AC), and organizational performance (OP) in Korean export manufacturing companies with three or more overseas subsidiaries. A theoretical model is suggested with the following empirical results. First, the positive effect of engaging leadership (EL) on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB), as well as of engaging leadership, involving leadership (IL), and goal-oriented leadership (GL) on team performance (TP), proved to be significant. Second, both engaging leadership and goal-oriented leadership have significant positive effects on optimism, while involving leadership has significant negative effects on pessimism. Third, only optimism has a positive (+) effect on OCB and TP. The mediating effects were proved to be significant in two paths: one in EL->optimism->OCB and the other in EL->optimism->TP. Finally, in responding to rapid changes in the external environment of exporting companies, the engaging leadership is a key source of organizational performance by forming a favorable affect climate. Therefore, top management should recognize the role of team leaders and strengthen their leadership training. In addition, it was confirmed that leaders with emotional intelligence that can respond to the affects of members play a more important role in forming an optimistic climate in Korea export manufacturing enterprises with foreign subsidiaries.

This is a group pretest-posttest design study that aim to evaluate the effect of problem-based learning using flipped learning to self leadership, nursing leadership, and confidence of nursing students. The subjects were 87 4th nursing students who took nursing management from March 15 to April 26, 2021. A questionnaire was used to measure self leadership, nursing leadership, and confidence. The measurement of self leadership is a 5-point Likert scale that employs a questionnaire. Flipped learning uploaded a 5-8 minute lecture video, and the subjects learned on learning management system, using smart device. PBL teaching was developed about personal growth, cooperation, nursing excellence, creative problem solving, influence. As a result of the study, self leadership was significantly improved after education than before education(t=-6.27, p<.001). Nursing leadership and confidence were significantly changed before and after education(t=-16.10, p<.001; t=-2.37, p<.001). According to the results of this study, the PBL teaching method using flipped learning is an effective teaching and learning strategy for improving leadership, and confidence. In future studies, it will be necessary to develope and verify specific teaching and learning methods by applying nursing experts in consideration of the type of leadership.

The study aims to identify the role of transformational leadership toward work performance through intrinsic motivation in pharmaceutical field by a survey of 220 pharmacists in Vietnam. The pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam is experiencing rapid growth, accompanied by the need for a change in leadership for managers. The transformational leadership creates a proactive, positive attitude, passion, interest or an increase in intrinsic motivation of employees, thereby affecting work performance. This study performed reliable verification by Cronbach's Alpha coefficient, then the factors are analyzed by EFA before conducting multivariate regression analysis. The results showed that the transformational leadership style includes such factors as: idealized influence (attributed and behavior), inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, individualized consideration have a positive impact on intrinsic motivation and thereby positively affecting work performance. It confirms that employees will have a higher intrinsic motivation level when working under transformational leadership from their leaders. It makes employees work more efficiently. According to the research results, the pharmacist has an intrinsic motivation to work hard on tasks that contribute to the group overall goal of. That requires managers to have a task assignment strategy to connect the goals of the members together as well as of the members to the group.
