The differences of Product Attitude and Purchase Intention of Mobile Convergence among Consumers (소비자 유형별 모바일 컨버전스의 제품태도 및 구매의도의 차이)

  • In this study, we present a new product strategy corresponding to the needs of the consumer segment in the mobile convergence industry, which is a field with a very high interest, and the implications are as follows. First, we believe that mobile convergence will lead the market for products that are regarded by consumers as innovative. Second, it can be seen that it is more attractive to consumers to dramatically improve existing functions than to add multiple functions that are not so important. Third, the type of convergence preferred by each type of consumer differs. For consumers who are less innovative, less professional and more technologically fatigued, it was shown that breakthrough improvements in existing technologies lead to better evaluations than adding multiple innovations. In addition, highly innovative consumers are more likely to appreciate the addition of a variety of mediocre features, such as less convergent innovations than the existing ones, as well as mobile convergence. Moreover, there was no significant difference in the product attitudes between the consumers with low technological fatigue and the highly innovate ones.

  • This study investigate the smart phone that is not included in the studies that test the effect of added functionalities to convergence products. There are several questions that PDA, MP3 players that are added a certain function can be good convergence product that consumers love and these are the products that has problem of decrease of sales volume because of the development of smart phone. It is a little bit strange to test these product for this study, so this study suggest a little different research tool compared to the past studies. The research implications are follows like theses. Brand awareness is important factor that decrease the uncertainties and risks specially when a innovative tech is added to smart phone. A situation that a innovative tech is added to smart phone is best to get the consumer's perceived innovativeness, value, and buying intention. And a situation that a innovative tech is added to smart phone in the context of low brand awareness is better than a situation that various normal teches are added to it.

  • 본고에서는 현재 활발하게 논의가 이루어지고 있는 IT융복합의 다양한 사례와 서비스를 소개한다. 디지털 컨버전스에 따른 융복합서비스는 지난 몇 년간 여러 방면의 시도를 통해 서비스의 기틀을 꾸준히 마련해 왔으며, 올해는 다양한 융복합서비스의 본격적인 개막을 알리는 도입 원년으로서 앞으로 실질적인 변화를 기대하고 있다. 즉, 말로만 요란했던 서비스가 현실화되어, 실제적인 서비스 형태로 실생활에서 구현될 것으로 예상되고 있는 것이다. 특히 과거 기술/제품간의 기능적 결합에서 최근에는 제품/서비스간의 결합과 함께 기존 산업에 IT를 접목하여 산업 고도화와 신 사업을 창출하고자 하는 방향으로 진전하고 있다. 이러한 다양한 서비스 출현으로 나타날 수 있는 문제점에 대해서도 알아보고자 한다.

  • The existing PMP contents have been usually providing moving picture services. However the rapid increasement by users of mobile equipment brought the need for multipurpose convergence, it is needed to develop the appropriate contents as these products appear. In this paper we designed the easy development environment for game contents that provide limited killer services. Game with the limited PMP input devices as a variety of portable input devices are developed and the equipment function of PMP itself is enhanced, its field of application will be further extended. So, we will design cross platform game development environment for PMP that is able to give friendly and valuable game contents to PMP users.

  • 유비쿼터스 환경 하에서 새로운 첨단 핵심기술 및 서비스가 하나의 제품 안에 집중되어가는 시대적 요구가 대두되고 있다. 이에 부응하여 탄생한 컨버전스 제품인 텔레매틱스의 전망 역시 두드러지고 있다. 본 연구는 Davis[14]가 제안한 기술수용모델(Technology Acceptance Model:TAM)을 통하여 텔레매틱스 사용의도에 관한 수용모형을 제시하였다. 기술수용모델의 내부 요인인 사용의도, 인지된 유용성과 인지된 이용용이성 외에도 업체 신뢰도, 정황 인식성, 자기 효능감의 외부 요인으로 확장하여 요인 간의 구조적 관계를 위한 모형을 개발하였다. 실증분석을 한 결과 정황 인식성, 자기 효능감이 각각 인지된 유용성과 이용용이성에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 텔레매틱스의 이용자에게 중요시 되는 특성에 대해 논의하였다.

  • u-IT Convergence appliances study and are developed in communication by development of u-IT technology, broadcasting, portal, contents, equipment and all fields of business such as solution. This treatise presents valuation basis of, economic performance, administration sex etc. by temperature, pressure, own, storehouse, gas, justice for humidity sensors and valuation basis that define u-IT Convergence, and sense information u-IT Convergence devices and terminal. Also, studied standardization standard of u-IT Convergence network appliance that follow in valuation basis for u-IT Convergence devices. Is going to contribute establish value as estimation product that equip stability and authoritativeness through correct certification assessment for technological development and appliances on Ubiquitous information-oriented society through this research and accomplish standardization.

  • This research used the sales information of the optician's shop located in Dadgu Dongseongro from January 2013 to October 2013. We used the sales information including the sale of glass frame, lens, sunglass, sale price, weekly sale and monthly sale generated in an optician's shop. It is difficult to direct expression for product sales quantity or amount. The sales ratio of the glass frame and sunglasses was very higher than a domestic about the imports. But the sales ratio of the lens was a little bit higher than a domestic about the imports. The glasses price in which it is sold the most was 500,000 won betweens in 300,000 won. The sale was concentrated than a weekday on weekend. While a summer became close, a sale increased and after decreased gradually.

  • As various convergency products have been actively developed, the study on user interface has been conducted a lot, and for more specific direction, users' experience-oriented user interface from user-oriented studies is recently developed. Such a tendency aiming to focus on product development to express users' emotion, the next step in the user-oriented development had difficulties in an objective approach, so the data based on previous users' experiences were presented as the basic data to establish user interface design process with grounds and design direction, and therefore it is available to show more specific and objective grounds. From this perspective, such psychological variables showing users' experiences like age and job are studied through surveys of users at the development of products, and products according to the variables are released. On the other hand, the products considering psychological difference distinguishing users' experiences as the cultural cap are not progressed yet. Despite the understanding of cultural difference, its decisive grounds are hard to distinguish like age, and job. Therefore, the cognitive concept about how to design menu information structure according to accident types that can be considered regarding user interface design among theoretical backgrounds about cultural difference. As the category according to the range of things among accident types, it is divided into analytical type and relational type to conduct a test on similarity and relations about the representative digital TV's menu information of the convergency product. As the result, analytical type and relational type showed difference and this study aims to use menu information concept considering this difference as explanatory variables of the users' experience-oriented development.

Consumer Satisfaction Model for Digital Convergence Products (디지털컨버전스 제품에 대한 소비자만족모델)

  • This study examines the actual state of using digital convergence products by consumers, and analyzes the expectation that consumers have regarding digital convergence products and the actual satisfaction of the digital convergence products. In addition, it analyzes factors affecting the satisfaction with digital convergence products. First, mobile phones, which 99.4% of those surveyed had, cameras, which 90.6% had, and mp3s, which 71.8% had, were found to be necessities. Second, the ratio of owning digital convergence products was 79.5%, 48.1%, and 52.4%, respectively. In the case of a mobile phones, a digital convergence type is already common. Third, regarding the reason for purchasing digital convergence products, they chose convergence products because there was no product with a simple function that they wanted to have: 38.2% in terms of a mobile phone, 47.2% for a camera, and 28.2% for an mp3. This shows that a consumer's choice was infringed in a great deal at the back of remarkable quantitative growth in digital convergence products. Fourth, the analysis of the factor regarding the consumer's expectation on digital convergence products showed 3 kinds of factors, i.e., expectation of benefit, expectation of risk, and expectation of situation. Fifth, as a result of analyzing the structural model regarding the effect on satisfaction by a consumer's expectation and the outcome on digital convergence products, all the expectations and outcomes of benefit, risk, and situation did not have a direct effect on satisfaction. Only an indirect effect through inconsistency showed a statistical significance.

Framework for Developing Mobile Embedded Convergence Software using CBD (컴포넌트 기반 모바일 임베디드 컨버전스 소프트웨어 개발 프레임워크)

  • Computing systems in the modern era are expanding rapidly to include mobile-based businesses that make us of the various convergence distributed business process. This has lead to growing interest in the field of mobile embedded software development methodology, which has in turn lead to the proliferation of the embedded mobility. The use of CBD (Component Based Development) provides reusability, maintainability and portability, all of which are very important and focus issues to the business process. It also comes with the inherent productivity, quality and reliability of CBD. To make efficient use of CBD, though, clarified interface definitions for component integration are necessary. These definitions should be made up of collaborative hierarchical and horizontal architecture layers. Successful definitions should apply an effective framework made up of the architecture and process. In this paper, we describe an interface specification for small grained mobile embedded components(MEC) for the mobile embedded domain to meet maximum user requirements. We build and deploy the reconfigurable design patterns and components (in business domain categories) to make a component hierarchy and business logics for mobile embedded software. Proposed components specification plays a major role in development of the software for handling inconsistency in existing specification. It also includes plenty of specification information, using semantics and modeling based mechanisms to support business processes. We propose a development model of mobile embedded software using CBD for very complex and dynamic mobile business. We can apply it in a plug and play manner to develop the software. We verify that our framework supports very good productivity, quality and maintainability to meet the user's requirements in mobile business.
