  • Applying Information Technology (IT) in practical engineering has become one of the most important issues in the past few decades, especially on internal solitary wave, intelligent robot interaction, artificial intelligence, fuzzy Lyapunov, tension leg platform (TLP), consumer and service quality. Other than affecting the traditional teaching mode or increasing the inter-relation with users, IT can also be connected with the current society by collecting the latest information from the internet. It is apparently a fashion-catching-up technology. Therefore, the learning of how to use IT facilities is becoming one of engineers' skills nowadays. In addition to studying how well engineers learn to operate IT facilities and apply them into teaching, how engineers' general capacity of information effects the results of learning IT are also discussed. This research introduces the "Combined TAM and TPB mode," to understand the situation of engineers using IT facilities.

소기업에서 IT 사용 만족도에 대한 연구 (A study of the information technology satisfaction in a small business.)

  • In this study we tried to measure the user satisfaction with IT in small firms. Though the number of small firms is not negligible, most studies on the IT satisfaction focused on medium and large-sized firms. Using Palvia's model in 1999 we measured If satisfaction of the employee in small firms in the manufacturing and telecommunication industry. We included seven constructs such as S/W pertinence, information content and accuracy, information format, system usefulness, system continuance, and system support to measure IT satisfaction. The result suggests that the If users in small firms are generally dissatisfied with the information technology and the areas of deep dissatisfaction are system usefulness and system support. Type of business, the gender and education of the users are found to affect the level of satisfaction.

  • 유비쿼터스 기술의 결합을 통해 u-헬스케어라는 보건 의료의 새로운 패러다임을 탄생시켜가고 있으며, 원격에서 건강 상태를 검진하여 질병을 방지하거나 만성질환자의 건강상태를 장기적으로 관찰할 수 있는 IT 기술에 대한 연구가 진행되고 있으며 IT와 BT, NT 등의 관련 기술의 융합발전 등으로 U-헬스케어는 정보 네트워크로의 접근을 용이하게 하고 있다.

  • 미래 유망연구 및 기술과제의 선정을 위한 방법론의 개발과 이를 통한 구체적인 아이템 선정을 위한 연구가 추진되고 있다. 본 논문은 과학기술연구분야의 미래 유망분야를 선정하기 위한 조사로 과학계량학이라는 객관적인 지표를 이용한다. 스커퍼스(Scopus)라는 과학기술정보 데이터베이스를 이용하여 건설교통분야의 고인용 및 클러스터링 정보분석을 수행한다. 정보분석을 통하여 각 국가간의 기술동향을 비교하고, 건설교통분야의 유망연구 영역을 선정하였다.

  • In Competitive environment Information Technology applications have the potential to create competitive advantage. 노인부양활동에 있어 Information Technology의 보완 역할에 관한 탐색적 연구: 노인부양자의 욕구를 중심으로 (Complementary IT for Elderly Care Activities: From Family Caregivers' Perspectives)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 고령화현상에 따른 노인부양 문제에 초점을 맞추고 부양활동의 보완재 혹은 도구로써 Information Technology (IT)의 활용을 제안하며, 이의 실행가능성 파악에 있다. 조사방법으로 예비와 현재 노인부양자 대상의 Focus Group Interview (FGI)를 실시하여 부양활동에 대한 부양자들의 의견 및 욕구를 탐색적으로 조사하고, 노인부양활동에 실질적으로 도움이 되는 IT의 역할을 파악하고자 하였다. 조사결과 노인부양자는 노인을 부양할 때 시간과 장소의 제한 없이 노인의 건강, 안전, 위치를 확인하길 바라며, 이러한 욕구는 유비쿼터스 속성을 가진 IT의 부양활동 보완역할을 통해 충족이 가능한 것으로 나타났다. FGI 결과를 기반으로 본 연구는 노인부양문제 해결을 위한 IT의 활용 및 보완 방안을 보다 구체적으로 제언하여 IT의 부양활동 보완역할의 가능성을 긍정적으로 보았다. 결론적으로 IT는 기존 부양서비스와 접목되어 부양활동을 지원하고 보완하여 부양자의 부양부담을 감소시켜주는 역할에 초점이 맞춰져야 하며, 무조건적인 IT 적용 및 기술 강조는 오히려 부작용을 가져올 수 있음을 강조하였다.

Data Framework Design of EDISON 2.0 Digital Platform for Convergence Research

  • With improving computing performance, various digital platforms are being developed to enable easily utilization of high-performance computing environments. EDISON 1.0 is an online simulation platform widely used in computational science and engineering education. As the research paradigm changes, the demand for developing the EDISON 1.0 platform centered on simulation into the EDISON 2.0 platform centered on data and artificial intelligence is growing. Herein, a data framework, a core module for data-centric research on EDISON 2.0 digital platform, is proposed. The proposed data framework provides the following three functions. First, it provides a data repository suitable for the data lifecycle to increase research reproducibility. Second, it provides a new data model that can integrate, manage, search, and utilize heterogeneous data to support a data-driven interdisciplinary convergence research environment. Finally, it provides an exploratory data analysis (EDA) service and data enrichment using an AI model, both developed to strengthen data reliability and maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of research endeavors. Using the EDISON 2.0 data framework, researchers can conduct interdisciplinary convergence research using heterogeneous data and easily perform data pre-processing through the web-based UI. Further, it presents the opportunity to leverage the derived data obtained through AI technology to gain insights and create new research topics.

This paper includes a new cryptographic algorithm for safe route traversal for data of smart cities which is a contemporary, non-hash, non-straight, 3D encryption execution intended for having information securely scrambled in the interim having a subsequent theoretical layer of safety over it. Encryption generally takes an information string and creates encryption keys, which is the way to unscramble as well. In the interim in another strategy, on the off chance that one can sort out the encryption key, there are opportunities to unravel the information scrambled inside the information string. 서비스산업의 IT활용수준 평가모델 개발 (An Information Technology Usage Level Assessment Model for Service Industry)

  • The purpose of this research is to develop an information technology (IT) usage level assessment model for service industry. It is necessary to develop an assessment model for service industry's IT usage to improve service productivity. However, it is not easy to develop assessment models due to service industry's diversity. In this paper a generic IT usage assessment model for service industry has been developed and validated through a descriptive approach. Key factors affecting service productivity have been identified and analysed. A pilot test on IT usage level has been performed to investigate the relevance and importance of IT usage indicators (factors). As a result, a set of effective IT usage indicators for service industry have been found. A short-cut model and a full scale model have been proposed for efficient and effective usage. The results of this study can be used for enhancement of service industry productivity through the increase of IT usage level.
