A Study on the Educational Applications of IPTV (IPTV(Internet Protocol Television)의 교육적 활용 방안 연구)

  • With the advent of convergence environment of broadcasting and communication, IPTV has been widely used. It provides services such as information, movie contents and broadcasting with TV through super-highway information networks. The purpose of this study is to suggest its educational applications to overcome the limits existing in the education. For this goal, we sought its concept and characteristic and drew educational implications by analyzing its contents. We also suggested what-if scenarios for its educational applications, considered its possibilities in educational applications and suggested the kinds of teaching-learning utilizing it and its educational applications for the various subjects. Finally, we examined problems which were considered before its applications in the education with the classification of legal, technical and educational problems.

교통정보 및 DGPS 보정신호의 효율적인 전송을 위한 FM 부반 송파시스템에 대한 연구

  • 교통정보와 DGPS(Differential GPS) 보정신호의 전송은 ITS(Intelligent Transport System)의 핵심 응용분야인 차량항법시스템(CNS : Car Navigation System)의 동적경로안내(Dynamic Routine Guidance System) 시스템의 핵심적인 요구사항이다. 이 정보들은 서비스 특성상 넓은 지역을 수신지역으로 하고 24시간 연속적으로 전송이 되어야 한다. 즉 주행주인 차량에서 자신의 위치 정확히 파악하기 위한 DGPS 보정신호 및 사고, 교통통제나 체증 등의 교통사항을 항상 수신할 수 있도록 항시 전송이 되어야 한다. FM 방송을 활용하여 이러한 요구사항을 충족시키는 전송채널로 활용될 수 있음을 확인하기 위해 FM 방송과 DARC 방식의 부반송파 시뮬레이터가 제작되었으며 이 시스템의 특성이 연구되었다. 또한 정보데이터를 현용 FM 방송설비를 이용하여 전송하기 위한 방송시스템을 제작하고 서울 및 경기도 지역을 수신지역으로 한 방송수신상태의 측정이 수행되었다. 이 결과들은 FM 부반송이 ITS를 위한 전송채널로서 활용될 수 있다는 것을 보여준다.

은행원의 Big5 성격이 창업 의도에 미치는 영향: 디지털미디어 활용역량을 매개 변수로

  • 본 연구의 목적은 금융기관 종사자의 Big5 성격요인에 따른 창업의도를 밝히는데 있다. 또한 디지털미디어 활용 역량이라는 매개 변수가 창업의도에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지 알아보고자 한다. 금융기관 중 제1 금융권에 재직중인 은행원으로 대상을 세분화하여 살펴볼 예정이다. 은행원의 창업의도에 관한 선행 연구가 적을 뿐만 아니라, 그 내용도 직장 내에서의 직무 만족이나 고용불안정에 따른 이직과 창업의도, 그리고 은퇴 후의 삶에 대한 논문이 다수이다. IT와 핀테크의 발달로 인해 은행의 구조조정은 꾸준히 진행되어 왔으며 앞으로도 지속적으로 실행되어질 것이다. 대상자의 확대로 정년과 상관없이 30대 이후의 모든 연령층에서 희망퇴직이 이루어지고 있는데, 30~40대의 희망퇴직자는 상당수 이직이나 창업에 뜻을 두고 있다. 은행원의 성격 특성을 분리하고 창업의 성장에 중요한 역할을 하고 있는 디지털미디어 활용역량을 분석하여 창업의도와 어떠한 관계가 있는지 살펴볼 예정이다. 은행원의 특성에 맞는 창업교육프로그램이 이루어진다면 창업의 성공적인 결과를 이루어내는데 기여할 것으로 예상된다.

  • 오늘날 운영체계와 미들웨어는 수많은 API를 제공하고 있다. 최종 사용자들이 사용하는 응용 프로그램들은 이러한 API를 활용하여 개발되어지고 있다. 기존의 문서와 같은 형태의 API에 대한 기술은 기계가 자동적으로 처리하기 힘들며 개발자 입장에서도 API를 이해하기 위해서 책을 직접 읽고 이해해야 한다는 단점이 있다. 이를 극복하기 위하여 docgen과 같은 도구들이 있으나 결국은 개발자 관점에서는 API를 직접 숙지하여야 하며 응용 프로그램 상에서 직접 운영체계에서 제공하는 API 호출 부분을 작성하여 개발하여야 한다는 부분은 동일하다. 또한 서로 다른 다양한 운영체계에서는 형식은 다르지만 유사한 기능을 제공을 하는 API들이 있으나 개발자는 특정 운영체계의 API에 맞추어서 각각의 운용체계에 맞는 응용 프로그램을 개발하여야 하는 문제점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 API에 대한 정보에 대한 규격을 정의하고 각각의 API의 기능 및 특성에 대하여 메타 기술언어를 사용하여 기술하여 저장소에 저장해두고 실행시에 이러한 API정보를 사용하여 응용 프로그램과 동적으로 바인딩시켜서 실행시키는 체계에 대해서 논의한다. 응용 프로그램에서 사용하려고 하는 API와 운영체계에서 제공하는 API를 동적으로 결합시키는 엔진에서는 운영체계별 API의 차이에 의한 부분을 상쇄시키는 역할을 담당한다. 이러한 체계를 활용하면 동적으로 재구성 가능한 응용을 개발하는데 있어서 하부 시스템으로 활용될 수 있다. 향후 표준 API를 기술하는데 있어서도 본 연구에서 제시하는 메타 방식의 API 기술표현을 활용하면 보다 정확한 표준 규약 준수 여부를 확인할 수 있는 방법을 제공할 수 있다.

Engineering Characteristics of Crushed Rock for Foundation and Backfill Materials of a Conduit (관거의 기초 및 뒷채움재로 활용하기 위한 석분의 공학적 특성)

  • In this study, basic physical tests and mechanical tests of crushed rock were performed in order to investigate the field application of crushed rock as substitute materials of sand that is commonly being used as foundation and backfill materials of sewer conduit. Particle-size distribution curve of crushed rock is similar to sand and also it is well-graded soil than common sand. Maximum dry unit weight in proctor compaction test for crushed rock is higher than the values of common sand. So we can estimate that the crushed rock has advantages in workability than sand for the backfill compaction after construction of sewer conduit. When we investigate the results of direct shear test and triaxial compression test on the crushed rock, it has a similar value of shear strength parameters to sand at the same stress state and as time goes by, it tends to increase the unconfined compression strength. But, because the strength reaches at the constant value after 6~7 days, we expect that it can absorb the lateral strain of flexible conduit well. All the above experimental results just proves that crushed rock can substitute for sand as backfill materials and foundation of sewer conduit.

Study of Population Dynamics of Birds Using Unmanned Monitoring System in Rice Paddy (무인모니터링 시스템을 활용한 논습지에 도래하는 조류 개체군 동태 연구)

  • This study was conducted to identify the characteristics of bird population dynamics using unmanned monitoring system in rice paddy. We compared the similarity of population dynamics of birds between unmanned monitoring system and field survey, and evaluated the spatial and temporal patterns of population dynamics of birds using the unmanned monitoring system. The monitoring using the system was conducted from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2016 in Cheolwon, Dangjin, Buan, and Heanam. The images from the system were obtained at 10-min intervals from 6:00 to 20:00. The field survey was conducted once a month in Dangjin from January to December 2016. Total 91,980 images were obtained from the unmanned monitoring system. We extracted the number of individuals for herons, shorebirds, and waterfowl from the images. The population dynamics of waterbirds using the unmanned monitoring system were similar to that in field survey. Especially, population dynamics of herons was more similar than other waterbirds. It was identified that the population dynamics of herons using the unmanned monitoring system was different among the Cheolwon, Dangjin, Buan, and Heanam. Furthermore, the unmanned monitoring system was available on various time scale such as month, day, and minute. It is expected that long-term data storage using the unmanned monitoring system can be used to identify in detail and forecast the population dynamics of birds in rice paddy.

A Study on Measuring Soil-Water Characteristic Curve Using a Suction Control Technique (흡입력 조절 기법을 이용한 함수특성곡선 측정에 관한 연구)

  • Determination of the soil-water characteristic curve is one of the most important things to solve geotechnical engineering problems. Expecially, convenient and reliable method to measure the soil-water characteristic curve during drying and wetting cycles is required with lower labor input, more independence from operator experience, and shorter testing time than other available methods. Many measurement methods including the flow pump system have been developed to characterize the soil-water characteristic curve for the several decades. This study measured the soil-water characteristic curve during drying and wetting cycles using a suction control technique with the flow pump system. Two test materials were used for determination of the soil-water characteristic curve, and it is concluded that suction control technique is suitable for determination of the soil-water characteristic curve and characterization of the hydraulic hysteresis with varying test conditions. Especially, the suction control technique can reduce error of measurement and save time in measuring the soil-water characteristic curve due to automated system and high degree of precision.

  • The plastic furniture made of new materials has enriched and broadened our everyday life not only through development of manufacture but also through consumptions since 1960's. In relation as well to the need of reducing energy consumption and contributing to environment, the weight of plastic materials has raised concerns in recently. Our rapidly changing lifestyle demands a new design that meet recognition of inflection. In conclusion, as we are preparing to enter into the 21st Century, we should go forward with hope and do so with dispatch-dazzling all of us with boldness, thinking imaginatively, transform indifference into action, moving things to the next level in plastic industries. From this study we have found that it would be useful to understand that the development of technological plastic materials for seat furniture has enabled designers to create more and more sophisticated design in our millennium life.

Analysis of Viscosity and Bleeding Characteristics of Grouting Materials according to the Proportion of Bentonite (벤토나이트 함량에 따른 지반 그라우팅 재료의 점성 및 블리딩 특성 분석)

  • Grouting has been widely used to enhance the strength of the ground and prevent waterflow into the underground space in the geotechnical engineering field. Cement with bentonite can be considered a helpful grouting material because the bentonite has a swelling ability with water. Therefore, it is essential to evaluate the characteristics of grouting materials according to the mixing ratio for a successful grouting process. In this regard, the study investigated the viscosity and bleeding characteristics of grouting materials according to the mixing ratio (i.e., water/cement ratio and bentonite/cement ratio). In the experimental result, the viscosity increases with decreasing water/cement ratio and rising proportion of bentonite by weight of cement. However, the results of the bleeding ratio show the tendency is inversely proportional to the viscosity results. Bentonite was explored in terms of the viscosity and bleeding criterion. This result is expected to be meaningful to determine the optimized mixing ratio of bentonite-cement in the grouting field.
