This study establishes key factors on ISM (Internet Shopping Mall) performance in Korea. The four factors are derived from the relevant literature and clarified the concept of ISM characteristics, customer characteristics, ISM evaluation level. and perceived risks by distinguishing between its components and determinants. ISM performance indicators were derived from the previous studios classifying by ISM attitude and ISM usage. We examine on the impact of ISM characteristics and customer characteristics on the ISM evaluation level, then its level and perceived risks on the ISM performance. Hypotheses on four factors of ISM performance were tested for 172 respondents. Results indicate that four factors may partially serve as key predictors on ISM performance. ISM characteristics and customer characteristics was found to be positively influenced on ISM evaluation level, and its level also positively affected on ISM performance while perceived risks negatively affected on ISM performance.

"International Safety Management(ISM) Code" means the International Management Code for the Safe Operation of Ships and for Pollution Prevention as adopted by the Assembly, as may be amended by the International Maritime Organization. This Code have brought into force internationally since 1th July, 1998 by incorporated to the new Chapter Ⅸ in the SOLAS Convention. Accordingly those States which give effect to the SOLAS Convention will have to ensure that rules giving effect to the Code are introduced into their domestic legislation. The purpose of this Code is to provide an international standard for the safe management and operation of ships and for pollution prevention, by this to reduce the maritime casualty which could caused by neglect of person. To achieve this purpose the ISM Code specifies a number of broad 'safety management objectives' for owning or operation companies, and it requires that such companies should establish, implementing and maintain a written Safety Management System(SMS) covering a whole range of safety environmental and related matters. These requirements of the Code could effect on the carrier in some points such as duty of due diligence to care for cargo, due diligence to make the vessel seaworthy and burden of proof etc. In this respect, We should know that the ISM Code could effect on the carrier advantageously or disadvantageously subject to whether the carrier observed the requirement of the ISM Code. Although it does not add cause of liability or increase limitation of liability imposed to the carrier.

According to the higher dependence of contemporary firms on data digitalization and the information technology, the role and importance of Information Security Management (ISM) is getting higher. Thus, there is a need to arrange proper procedure and a series of device within the organization in order to reduce diverse security risks, which take place from the inside and the outside of firm. In other words, prior examination for reinforcing recognition of ISM, and of a systematic performance method in the refined form is important. This study investigate the key variables influencing the ISM. Thus, this study suggests firm environmental factors that include four exogenous variables, market volatility, task interdependence, perceived benefits, and coordination mechanism affecting awareness of ISM. In addition, it proposes a concept of the ISM process with awareness, development, and performance, and examines the moderating effects of regulatory influence. The research model was tested by using Structural Equation Modeling, via SmartPLS 2.0 analysis on a sample collected from 186 employees in various industries. The research results provide the evidence that supports the tested hypotheses except significance of coordination mechanism. The implications of the findings suggest a new theoretical framework of the ISM and offers important solutions for the practical application guidelines.

This paper is to construct the integrated sustainable management (ISM) system. This research focuses on the intergration of two concepts - balanced scorecard management system and the three pillars of sustainability. The system certification, product certification, innovation and participation tools are considered in constitutional elements for ISM system. Finally, this paper proposes the causal analysis, the third assessment, reporting for ISM system.

In particular, the significant of this study is that it established AHP operation evaluation analysis process, the design of questionnaire, and the hierarchical structure of operation evaluation model standard, focusing on the development of ISM Code operation evaluation module. Also, this study has its value in the point that it attempted to apply AHP scheme, which is part of the main decision-making in management science field, to develop operation evaluation module.

Recently, ISM(Industrial, Scientific and Medical) equipments that exceed 50 watts were expended at home, medical institutions and industrial sites. Therefore, the equipments that are subject to permission have been significantly increased. So, the present permission system that individually permits each equipment and inspects all equipments has a limitation. Thus, it is also difficult to reflect the environmental changes. In this paper, we reviewed the ISM management system in major foreign countries and domestic, and then proposed an improvement scheme of ISM management system for domestic environment. These results will be useful for revitalization of domestic industry related to ISM equipment and an efficient management of ISM equipments in the future.

In those day, the Busan local government had instituted a rule to support and enhance competition as well as improve respect for the ship management industry. This study aims to extract the cause factors to enhance such competition using intuitionistic decision making trial and evaluation laboratory (DEMATEL) and interpretive structural modeling (ISM) methods. First, eight factors were extracted from the specifications in the Ship Management Industry Development Act. Second, the intuitionistic fuzzy number was converted to a crisp number using the standard fuzzy number. Third, the influence relationship was analyzed using DEMATEL, and the priority ranks for the factors are determined using ISM. From the results of the impact relationship analysis, the three main cause factors were determined as improvement of technical ship management capability, improvement of expertise of manpower for onshore management, and improvement of the quality of the Korean seafarer. The priorities under the ISM method, in descending order, were as follows: improvement of the quality of Korean seafarers, improvement of professionalism among the manpower for shore management, improvement of technical ship management capability, improvement of commercial ship management capability, establishment of a comprehensive information system, improvement of the working conditions and employment environment for seafarers, financial support such as overseas orders, and strengthening the availability of foreign seafarers. Therefore, it is necessary to prioritize policy promotion based on these factors, especially the top three, as these have the highest impact.

According to ISM Code, from July 1, 1998 relevant shipping company and ships should establish, implement and maintain safety management system(SMS) both on ships as well as shore. Nonetheless the SMS has not yet been settled. This paper is prepared to seek for the problems occurred in relation to the implementation of SMS onboard and propose ideas to improve the system.
