Influencing Factors of the Organizational Commitment among Hospital Nurses (병원간호사의 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • Purpose: The study aimed to identify influencing factors associated with the organizational commitment (OC) among hospital nurses. Methods: A descriptive correlational design was utilized. The subjects of this study were 447 female nurses working for over 6 months in Seoul. The study was based on the data from a self-reported survey using structured questionnaires. The data were collected from September 10 to 30, 2009 and analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficients and stepwise multiple regression analysis. Results: The mean score of the OC was 2.45, slightly higher than the intermediate level. The mean score of the three-dimensional domain among the OC, affective commitment (AC) was 2.50, continuance commitment (CC) was 2.59, and normative commitment (NC) was 2.29. The influencing factors of nurses' AC were perceived organizational support (POS) (${\beta}$=.31, p<.001), supervisory trust, job burnout, nursing professionalism, and age, which accounted for 49.7%. The influencing factors of the CC were supervisory trust (${\beta}$=.20, p<.001), POS, and job burnout whereas the influencing factors of the NC were POS (${\beta}$=.40, p<.001), supervisory trust, nursing professionalism, and job burnout. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop supportive strategies that increase OC, which also improve the POS, nursing professionalism, and supervisory trust, and alleviate job burnout in hospital nurses.

Continued Usage with Attachment on Mobile Devices Influencing Perceived Value and Perceived Enjoyment (지각된 가치와 지각된 즐거움과 모바일 디바이스의 지속적인 사용)

  • The concept of attachment between users and Information Systems; specifically on mobile devices was examined in this study. Furthermore, the moderating effect of users' past experience also was investigated. The empirical study was done involving 240 university students; to investigate the participants' perceived value, perceived enjoyment, attachment and also continuous usage of mobile devices. Additionally, participants' past experience was also enquired to examine its moderating effects. The results show that attachment is mediating both perceived value and perceived enjoyment with continuous usage. Meanwhile, past experience negatively moderates perceived enjoyment with attachment and also negatively moderates attachment with continuous usage.

  • The previous researches on customer participation(CP) have examined the influences of CP on customer satisfaction and service quality focusing on the role of CP in the service encounters. However, this paper identifies the path relationships between CP and relationship commitment focusing on the impact of CP on the relational outcomes. By expanding the role of CP in the service encounter, this paper shows what relational variables can be influenced by CP in detail, which identifies that CP plays an important role in service encounter empirically. As results, CP has significant influences on the relationship commitment such as normative commitment, continuance commitment, and affective commitment respectively. Additionally, considering the characteristics of CP, CP is more impactful on normative commitment than affective commitment.

  • Trust has been identified as crucial to intention to continue to use e-commerce systems. Although trust is inherent in relationship-based practices, most studies on trust have focused on influences on customer trust. From the viewpoint of mutual trust, few empirical studies have examined the effect of users' perceived trust from an e-commerce website on customer trust in that website, despite the obvious importance of this issue, particularly in the field of e-commerce. This paper empirically examines the role of customer perception of trust in the customer on the part of e-commerce websites. In addition, this study explores the ability of e-commerce websites' trusting actions to transfer positive impressions that encourage trust in those sites. The results indicate that in the e-commerce context, a website's trusting actions are important to customer perception of being trusted by and trusting in e-commerce websites.

  • Today, the international community make every effort to suppress security crimes, to provide numerous institutional strategies and to prevent security crimes such as the terrorism and spy. Particularly, developed countries in the field of security are strengthening related legislation under new-security conditions. Things work a little differently about security crimes because the nation's benefit and protection of the law is the basis of individual benefit and protection of the law under investigation procedure of the security crimes. Therefore they have policy that permits major investigative agency under the arrest and detention procedure(e.g. security and communication monitoring ${\ldots}$). Criminal procedure's improvement and reinforcement are very important for events related security. But, The investigation procedure between criminal offense and security crimes makes no odds in the Korea. Continuance of such a national mood will accuse of not responding appropriately in preparation for new-security conditions recently. To revise with international best security legislation, We should institute a proper registration system in Korea's situation. This study have been discussing how to improve related legislation under new-security conditions through the cases analysis of the arrest and detention procedure in Korea.

  • While Korea became one of manufacturing powers in the world through a fast-follower strategy as well as implementing the approach of advancing manufacturing business focused on quantitative input, The advent of the fourth industrial revolution and demand becoming more complicated than ever both require a system that quickly detects the change of markets in advance and reflects it in the manufacturing strategy. Accordingly, the introduction of a smart factory is not optional but mandatory in order to strengthen the competitiveness of manufacturing business using ICT. This paper aims to investigate key factors having influence on the intention to continuously use a smart factory, the innovative IT device, on the basis of the technology acceptance model. This paper analyzed the influence of the leadership of CEO, organizational learning and perceived switching costs on the intention to continuously use a smart factory by the parameters of perceived ease of use and usefulness, the major belief valuables of the IT acceptance model.

A Research on the Present State of 'Reading Cheongju' Reading Promotion Campaign ('책 읽는 청주' 지역사회 독서운동의 현황에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to analyze the characteristics and problems of 'Reading Cheongju' which launched as 'One Book, One City' reading promotion campaign in 2006 and conducted 23 times for the past 15 years. The analysis of the selection criteria of 'one book', 31 selected books, and the activity of reading and discussion shows the strength of continuity and stability of 'Reading Cheongju'. However, the following weaknesses need to be improved on: the inadequate change in book selection criteria, selection of several books according to age groups instead of 'One Book', lack of consistency in themes of selected books, preference for best-sellers and popular works, difficulty in identifying the continuance of individual participation in reading and discussion, librarians' role limited to organizing programs, and lacking in direct participation in discussion and communication, and events and programs only led by Cheongju City Library without any cooperation from community members.

The Influencing Factors of SME's Acceptance Intention to Advance Smart Factory (중소기업의 스마트팩토리 고도화 수용의도에 미치는 영향요인)

  • This study analyzed the factors that influence the domestic SMEs that have introduced smart factories on their intention to accept at a higher level for qualitative advancement. 375 copies collected through an online survey were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS with UTAUT and the extended two-stage information system continuous model. Performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions have a statistically significant effect on user satisfaction and user satisfaction and CEO's will have an effect on the intention to accept the advancement. However, the suppliers' technology didn't have a direct effect on the advancement acceptance intention and user satisfaction has a mediating effect between performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions and the advancement acceptance intention. SME's advancement for smart factory, it is important to improve the satisfaction level and the CEO's will to become smart.

The Effect of Restaurant Owners' Perceived Benefits and Sacrifices on the Continuous Use Intention of Food Delivery App Services: Focusing on the Value-Based Adoption Model (외식업 점주의 배달앱 서비스 이용에 대한 지각된 혜택 및 희생이 지속이용의도에 미치는 영향: 가치기반수용모델을 중심으로)

  • Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of perceived value on the intention of continuous use of food delivery app services form the perspective of restaurant owners. We adopt the value-based acceptance model (VAM) in order to derive influential factors (i.e., perceived benefits and perceived sacrifices) that affect perceived value, which in turn leads to the continuous use of food delivery app services. In addition, the moderating role of restaurant type in the relationship between perceived benefits/sacrifices and perceived value. Design/methodology/approach An online survey was conducted on restaurant owners who are using domestic food delivery app services. Samples were collected using the quota sampling method in accordance with the current market share of food delivery app services. A total of 235 participants (restaurant owners) were identified as a valid sample and used for the final analysis. Findings Research findings of the study are as follows. First, sales increase and operational effort decrease among perceived benefits had a significant positive impact on perceived value. Second, perceived cost among perceived sacrifices had a significant negative impact on perceived value. Third, perceived value had a significant positive effect on the intention of continuous use. Finally, the moderating role of restaurant type was found only in the effect of operational effort decrease on perceived value.

Study on the Use of K-Pop Social Media in Indonesia based on Expectation-Confirmation Model (기대확신모형(ECM)에 의한 인도네시아에서 K-Pop 소셜 미디어의 사용 연구)

  • Korean Wave is now internationalized through the internet by social media, which have no space-time restrictions. This research examine the continuance use of K-Pop promotion using social media in Indonesia. In this study we apply the Expectation-Confirmation Model to analyze the effects of individual self-efficacy and perceived enjoyment on perceived usefulness, confirmation, and satisfaction of Social Media. As a research method for that purpose, the conformity of the model and the research hypothesis were verified using the structural equation model. As a result, it was found that the perceived enjoyment positively influences perceived usefulness, self-efficacy has a positive influence on perceived usefulness. We also found that confirmation positively affects both perceived usefulness and satisfaction, and that perceived usefulness positively affects satisfaction. Finally, satisfaction was found to always have a positive effect on intention to use.
