This study aims to investigate the major causes of conflict between clients and vendors in the outsourced IS development. A research model is established based on the prior research of IS outsourcing, system development and conflict. An empirical study was executed using 214 survey questionnaire of project teams composed of client and vendor with PASW 18.0. Research results using multiple regressions show that contract specificity, requirements certainty, objective alignment and client knowledge have negative effects on conflict. This research results will provide various implications for outsourcing project success.

The purpose of this paper is to examine IT governance mediated the effect of human resource capability on information systems outsourcing success. The survey method was used for this paper, and data from a total of 108 companies that were listed greater than $10 million were used for the analysis. And structural equation model was used to analyze the data. The results of this empirical study is summarized as followings. First, human resource capability do not have a direct effect on information systems outsourcing success but IT governance mediates the effect of human resource capability. Second, preparedness capability and relationship capability have positive effect on the IT governance. The findings have significant implications for IT governance in information systems outsourcing.

In this paper the Partnership's Influence on the Success of IT-Outsourcing is studied. Especially the role of "Partnership" as Intermediate is mainly researched. As the result we can see the fact that the economic factor does not affect the Partnership and the success of IT-Outsourcing, because the IT-Outsourcing can cause sometimes the increase of the cost. On the other hand strategic factor and technical factor affect directly the Success of IT-Outsourcing. This means that the Success of IT-Outsourcing depends on the close cooperation between customer and service provider, rather than on the following the contents of the Service Level Agreement(SLA). In consequences the Partnership based on the steady and fluent communication and the feeling of sharing the risk and benefit between two parties is the key factor for the Success of IT-Outsourcing.

The purpose of this study is to analyse factors affecting performance of Global Outsourcing of the Korean Export-Importing Companies. This study aims to confirm the cause and effect relationship between independent variables; Organization Competency, Flexibility, Information Sharing and Partnership and dependent variable; the performance of Global Outsourcing. Also, another objective of this study is to discover affecting levels for the performance and activation factors of global outsourcing and to contribute to diffusion of global sourcing. This paper examined the concept and features of global sourcing and the present situation of global outsourcing at the level of domestic and overseas. From precedent studies that based on empirical studies about the transaction theory and the resource-based theory, we have derived a model with hypothesis and scale items then we conducted a survey of the Korean Export-Importing companies and empirically analysed the data. Before hypothesis testing, we conducted a basic information analysis in order to discover implication level of Global Soucring and also did reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis using SPSS 18.0. Finally, the four hypothesis for the performance of Global Sourcing were tested with a regression model.

The critical strength of outsourcing system is to enhance the competitive power of the company by applying the centralization of management resources. This strategy has been used in library management and become the general method. The libraries in the U.S. stated to adopt the outsourcing system to organize the information of library works. Those in Korea also commence to use this method later on. The main reason of outsourcing the cataloging and classification works in the library was to reduce the budget; however, result were diverse. The efficiency on performing works was positive while the quality of bibliographic record was not guaranteed. Regardless of various opinions, The National Library of Korea decided to apply the method to cataloging and classification considered as a major work in maintaining library. This study is to analyze and criticize the decision made by The National Library of Korea.

This research is to find a way to improve level of management performance and power of competition against other competitors in the same field. especially, outsourcing closely related management performance has been studied. In this research, 250 questionnaires for super delux hotel were distributed and analyzed 236 with Path Analysis. finally, the most important things impacting financial performance have shown contract cost, skills, inner management skills, clarity of contract conditions, etc... controllable outsourcing factors and cooperation between outsourcing company and hotel as well is important to improve service quality based on work efficiency. In conclusion, hotel industry has to continue to work on building stronger relationship with outsourcing companies based on controllable outsourcing factors. it will bring positive effect to management performance through customer satisfaction.

Due to the recent advancement of cloud computing, the research on database outsourcing has been actively done. Moreover, the number of users who utilize Location-based Services(LBS) has been increasing with the development in w ireless communication technology and mobile devices. Therefore, LBS providers attempt to outsource their spatial database to service provider, in order to reduce costs for data storage and management. However, because unauthorized access to sensitive data is possible in spatial database outsourcing, it is necessary to study on the preservation of a user's privacy. Thus, we, in this paper, propose a spatial data encryption scheme to produce outsourced database from an original database. We also propose a k-Nearest Neighbor(k-NN) query processing algorithm that efficiently performs k-NN by using the outsourced database. Finally, we show from performance analysis that our algorithm outperforms the existing one.

Before economical crisis in 1997, domestic company focused on increasing the size of outward experience which including organization. The result of increasing outward experience without substance was economical crisis, so after that time, many companies have been changing their focus from insourcing to strengthen the core competence to secure global market. This is becoming a cause of following that companies are reducing their outward experience. Especially, to process tasks more effectively and to cope with rapid change of business environment, such as incoming raw material from overseas/high raising of salary/rising property prices, many companies decided outsourcing method. At most of hypothesis, the result was that outsourcing can affect positively to the business. First, introducing of outsourcing during focusing on core competence can be positive effect for company performance such as business management /productivity /procurement /administration /product competitiveness /technology. Second, the result that analyzed based on a point of view of population statics after outsourcing was positive effect at the most of research. Third, result of effectiveness for every outsourcing type classified by 4M was also can be positive at the most of research. Fourth, the characteristic of population statics can be positive effect at the most of category when select outsourcing companies. Research result of outsourcing was various based on the goal of outsourcing. It is revealed by investigation of domestic/overseas treatise that there are opposite two opinions. In this research, there is no consistent result that the outsourcing can give effects on business performance, but most of hypothesis indicates that outsourcing can give positive effect on the business performance.In this research, based on the outsourcing intensity, mutual relation was analyzed. The assumption of the reason of outsourcing is economical and organizational. First, sampling numbers of research was too small so it is too difficult to get significant business performance result. (Sampling : 150, Replied : 106, Rate of Reply : 71%) Second, tried to compare significant differences of outsourcing methods which were divided based on 4M, but the there is gaps between the number of Cell and too difficult to make replier understand. Third, it is tried to find the degrees of effect that the point of view of popular statics can effect on business performances and selection of outsourced companies.

This study uses the bibliometric analysis and author bibliographic coupling analysis (ABCA) to analyse the study of IT outsourcing in Korea and China by 2017 and determine the subject areas of the researcher and the intellectual structure which lays the foundation for future researchers in IT outsourcing area. For this study, through the National Digital Science Library (NDSL) of Korea and China Academic Journal network publishing Database (CAJD) of China, it collected the connected documents and found out authors whose work had been published more than twice. ABCA is utilized to visualize the author map which could find out the researchers and areas in meaningful way. The result show that the study of IT outsourcing in Korea came out earlier and developed further than that of China. The study in Korea has already come to the mature period. By contrast, China remains at somewhere between developing period and bottleneck period. The distribution of papers are still in the dispersed state. The author map shows a hot subject area in Korean researchers IT outsourcing strategy is and in chinese scholars IT outsourcing management.

The purpose of this paper is to recognize an importance of its practice by rightly understanding mindfulness, and to find one method to solve the success of Information Systems outsourcing through mindfulness practice. To do this, this paper proposes and analyzes a theoretical model consisting of factors such as contract completion, relationship strength, mindfulness practice, trust level and Information Systems outsourcing success. Data was collected using the survey method, and was analyzed using the PLS method. The results of this empirical study are summarized as followings. First, mindfulness practice has positive effects on Information Systems outsourcing success as well as trust level. Second, both contract completion and relationship strength have positive effects on mindfulness practice. The findings will provide basic data for understanding the role of mindfulness practice in Information Systems outsourcing success.
