New organic light-emitting diodes with structure of indium-tin-oxide[ITO]/N,N'-diphenyl-N, N'-bis-[4-(phenyl-m-tolvlamino)-phenyl]-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine[DNTPD]/1,1-bis-(di-4-poly-aminophenyl) cyclohexane[TAPC]/bis(10-hydroxy-benzo(h)quinolinato)beryllium[Bebq2]/Bebq2:iridium(III)bis(2-phenylquinoline-N,C2')acetylacetonate[(pq)2Ir(acac)]/ET-137[electron transport material from SFC Co]/LiF/Al using the selective doping of 5%-(pq)2Ir(acac) in a single Bebq2 host in the two wavelength (green, orange) emitter formation were proposed and characterized. In the experiments, with a 300${\AA}$-thick undoped emitter of Bebq2, two kinds of devices with the doped emitter thicknesses of 20${\AA}$ and 40${\AA}$ in the Bebq2:(pq)2Ir(acac) were fabricated. The device with a 20${\AA}$-thick doped emitter is referred to as "D-1" and the device with a 4${\AA}$-thick doped emitter is referred to as "D-2". Under an applied voltage of 9V, the luminance of D-1 and D-2 were 7780 $cd/m^2$ and 6620 $cd/m^2$, respectively. The electroluminescent spectrum of each fabricated device showed peak emissions at the same two wavelengths: 508 nm and 596 nm. However, the relative intensity of 596 nm to 508 nm at those wavelengths was higher in the D-2 than in the D-1. The D-1 and D-2 devices showed maximum current efficiencies of 5.2 cd/A and 6.0 cd/A, and color coordinates of (0.31, 0.50) and (0.37, 0.48) on the Commission Internationale de I'Eclairage[CIE] chart, respectively.

In this paper, a read-in integrated circuit (RIIC) for IR scene projectors (IRSPs) adopting a sub-frame control technique is proposed, which minimizes the reduction of the apparent temperature of the IR images projected from IRSPs operating at a frame rate of 30 Hz. The proposed sub-frame control technique significantly reduces the amount of scene data loss on capacitors, which is caused by leakage currents flowing through MOSFET switches during holding periods, by dividing a unit frame into 8 sub-frames and refreshing the same scene data for each sub-frame. A current-drive RIIC was designed for the higher apparent temperature of IR radiated from the emitter, and it receives the scene data as a form of analog voltages from an external DAC. A prototype chip with a $64{\times}32$ RIIC array was fabricated using Magnachip/SKhynix $0.35{\mu}m$ 2-poly 4-metal CMOS process, and the measured maximum output data current is $230.3{\mu}A$. This amount of current ensures the projection of IR images whose maximum apparent temperature is $366.2^{\circ}C$ in the mid-wavelength IR (MWIR) when applied to a prototype emitter having a resistance of $15k{\Omega}$.

Rapid thermal processing (RTP) abruptly decreases the time required to perform solar cell processes. RTP were used to form emitter of crystalline silicon solar cells. The emitter sheet resistance is studied as a function of time and temperature. The objective of this study is reduction of doping process time with same performance. Emitter difRapid thermal dfusion was carried out by using a spin on doping and a RTP. iffusion was performed in the temperature range of $700{\sim}750^{\circ}C$ for 1m 30s~15 m. Thermal budgets yielded a $50{\Omega}/sq$ emitter using a P509 source. To reduce process time and get high efficiency, rapid thermal diffusion by IR lamp was employed in air atmosphere at $700^{\circ}C$ for 15 m.

The internal quantum efficiency of organic light emitting devices(OLEDs) using fluorescent organic materials is limited within 25% because of the triplet excitons which can hardly emit light. So there has been considerable interest in finding ways to obtain light emission from triplet excitons. One approach has been to add phosphorescent compounds to one of the layers in OLEDs. Then triplet excitons can transfer to these phosphorescent molecules and emit light. In this study, multilayer OLEDs with phosphorescent emitter, Iridium complexes were prepared. The devices with a structure of ITO/TPD/Ir complex doped in the host material/Alq3/Li:Al/Al were fabricated, and its electrical and optical characteristics were studied. Using various Ir complexes and the host materials, we fabricated several devices and investigated the device characteristics.

In this paper, a novel fast response NDIR analyzer (FRNDIR), which uses an electrically pulsed semiconductor emitter and dual type PbSe detector for the PPM-level detection of carbon dioxide (CO$_2$) at a wavelength of 4.28 $\mu\textrm{m}$, is described. Modulation of conventional NDIR energy typically occurs at 1 to 20 Hz. To achieve real time high-speed measurement, the new analyzer employs a semiconductor light emitter that can be modulated by electrical chopping. Updated measurements are obtained every one millisecond. The detector has two independent lead selenide (PbSe) with IR band pass filters. Both the emitter accuracy and the detector sensitivity are increased by thermoelectric cooling of up to -20 degrees C in all semiconductor devices. Here we report the use of semiconductor devices to achieve improved performance such that these devices have potential application to CO$_2$ gas measurement and, in particular, the measurement of fast response CO$_2$ concentration at millisecond level.
Color stable and efficient two wavelength white organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) were fabricated using a iridium(III)[bis(4,6-difluorophenyl)-pyridinato-N,$C^2$'] picolinate (FIrpic) as a blue phosphorescent emitter and a bis(1-phenylisoquinolinato-$C^2$,N)iridium (acetylacetonate) ((piq)$_2$Ir(acac)) as a red phosphorescent emitter. The emitting layers consist of two blue emitting layers and one red emitting layer which is between the two blue layers. The device reaches the peak efficiencies of 7.84 % and 10.3 cd/A at 0.6 mA/$cm^2$. Furthermore, there was little change of EL spectra according to current density change in the device.

In the past, brachytherapy was carried out mostly with radium or radon sources. Currently. use of artificially produced radionuclially produced radionuclides such as $^{137}Cs,\;^{192}Ir,\;^{198}Au,\;and\;^{125}I$ is rapidly increasing. Although electrons are often used as an alternative to interstitial implants, brachytherapy continues to remain an important mode of therapy, either alone or combined with external beam. The National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements(NCRP) recommends that the strength of any ${\gamma}$ emitter should be specified directly in terms of exposure rate in air at a specified distance such as 1m. The air kerma strength is defined as the product of air kerma rate in 'free space' and the square of the disrance of the calibration point from the source center along the perpendicular bisector, i. e., $S_k=K_L{\times}L^2$. Where $S_K$ is the the air kerma strength and K is the air kerma rate at a specified distance L. (usually 1m). Recommended units for all kerma strength are ${\mu}Gym^{2}h^{-1}$.

In this paper, we design and implement KITNESS, a windows application that feeds back the accuracy of fitness motions based on Kinect sensors. The feature of this application is to use Kinect's camera and joint recognition sensor to give feedback to the user to exercise in the correct fitness position. At this time, the distance between the user and the Kinect is measured using Kinect's IR Emitter and IR Depth Sensor, and the joint, which is the user's joint position, and the Skeleton data of each joint are measured. Using this data, a certain distance is calculated for each joint position and posture of the user, and the accuracy of the posture is determined. And it is implemented so that users can check their posture through Kinect's RGB camera. That is, if the user's posture is correct, the skeleton information is displayed as a green line, and if it is not correct, the inaccurate part is displayed as a red line to inform intuitively. Through this application, the user receives feedback on the accuracy of the exercise position, so he can exercise himself in the correct position. This application classifies the exercise area into three areas: neck, waist, and leg, and increases the recognition rate of Kinect by excluding positions that Kinect does not recognize due to overlapping joints in the position of each exercise area. And at the end of the application, the last exercise is shown as an image for 5 seconds to inspire a sense of accomplishment and to continuously exercise.
