IR classified by wavelength three parts NIR, MIR. FIR. There is FIR which is radiated from healthy human body the wave length is 8-14m. The Sun's ray is composed of Infared(49%), Visible light(40%) and Ultra violet(11%), however the ray getting to the earth is FIR(60%), IR(20%), and UV(20%). Human beings has utilized FIR already from time immemorial. Hershel found out Infrared for the first time, in the Industrial Revolution the Infrared and FIR had been begun to use making products. FIR with low temperature can deeply penetrate on the human body composed things without troublesome, since FIR has effectively operated on the human body at low temperature (35-40 $^{\circ}$C). In this study, we experimented in the specific temperature FlR radiation intensity. water consumption rate, feed consumption rate. survival rate and mean of weight balance with FlR radiation instrument. According to the results, the FlR radiation to the mice assisted to increase the survival rate.
This is a widespread requirement for low cost lightweight thermal imaging sensors for both military and civilian applications. Today, a large number of uncooled infrared detector developments are under progress due to the availability of silicon technology that enables realization of low cost IR sensor. System prices are continuing to drop, and swelling production volume will soon drive process substantially lower. The feasibility of micromechanical optical and infrared (IR) detection using microcantilevers is demonstrated. Microcantilevers provide a simple Structurefor developing single- and multi-element sensors for visible and infrared radiation that are smaller, more sensitive and lower in cost than quantum or thermal detectors. Microcantilevers coated with a heat absorbing layer undergo bending due to the differential stress originating from the bimetallic effect. This paper reports a micromachined silicon uncooled thermal imager intended for applications in automated process control. This paper presents the design, fabrication, and the behavior of cantilever for thermomechanical sensing.

A three dimensional feed horn 10${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ wavelength infrared antenna has been suggested, fabricated and characterized. It was applied to an infrared detector for efficient collecting of IR radiation and for reducing background noise. The horn antenna size was designed for maximum antenna directivity. The 3D feed horn antenna mold was fabricated using rotating and tilted illumination while the antenna plate was constructed by way of electroplating. Antenna characteristics were measured by coupling with a microbolometer. Measurement results indicated that the directivity of the antenna is 16.1㏈ and the background noise is reduced by approximately two times.
According to a study on improving ship survivability, an IR signature represents the contrast radiance intensity between the radiation signature from a ship and the background signature. It was found from applying stealth techniques to the process of ship development that the IR signature is remarkably sensitive and dependent on the environment. In this study, marine climate data for the sea near the Korean Peninsula were collected, and the marine meteorological environment in Korean waters was defined. Based on this data, a study on the sensitivity of the IR signature of target objects was performed using analytical methods. The results of the research indicated that clouds have important effects on the infrared signature, but the velocity of the wind and the humidity have only slight effects on the IR signature. In addition, the air and seawater temperatures had hardly any effect on the IR signature, but it is judged that additional study is needed.

Infrared (IR) imaging has been researched for various applications such as surveillance. IR radiation has the capability to detect thermal characteristics of objects under low-light conditions. However, automatic segmentation for finding the object of interest would be challenging since the IR detector often provides the low spatial and contrast resolution image without color and texture information. Another hindrance is that the image can be degraded by noise and clutters. This paper proposes multi-level segmentation for extracting regions of interest (ROIs) and objects of interest (OOIs) in the IR scene. Each level of the multi-level segmentation is composed of a k-means clustering algorithm, an expectation-maximization (EM) algorithm, and a decision process. The k-means clustering initializes the parameters of the Gaussian mixture model (GMM), and the EM algorithm estimates those parameters iteratively. During the multi-level segmentation, the area extracted at one level becomes the input to the next level segmentation. Thus, the segmentation is consecutively performed narrowing the area to be processed. The foreground objects are individually extracted from the final ROI windows. In the experiments, the effectiveness of the proposed method is demonstrated using several IR images, in which human subjects are captured at a long distance. The average probability of error is shown to be lower than that obtained from other conventional methods such as Gonzalez, Otsu, k-means, and EM methods.
Infrared (lR) detectors are widely used for such applications as thermoelstic stress analysis, medical diagnostics and temperature measurement. Infrared detectors commonly need to be refrigerated below 80 K, and thus a cooling system should be equipped together with the detector system. The cooling load, which should be removed by the cooling system to maintain the nominal operating temperature of the detector, critically depends on the insulation efficiency of the cryochamber housing the detector. Cryochamber considers the conduction heat transfer through a cold finger, the gases conduction and radiation heat transfer. The thermal loads of an infrared detector Cryochamber with radiation shield are investigated experimentally in present study. Since the effect of radiation heat transfer on thermal loads is significant, radiation shields is installed in the cold finger part to protect heat input through radiation. It is found that the thermal load can be substantially reduced by increasing the number of radiation shield.
A flame detector responds either to radiant energy visible to the human eye or outside the range of human vision. Such a detector is sensitive to glowing embers, coals, or flames which radiate energy of sufficient intensity and spectral quality to actuate the alarm. An infra-red detectors can respond to the total IR component of the flame alone or in combination with flame flicker in the frequency range of 5 to 30 Hz. A major problem in the use of infrared detectors receiving total IR radiation is the possible interference of solar radiation in the infrared region. When detectors are located in places shielded from the sun, such as vaults, filtering or shielding the unit from the sun's rays is unnecessary. In this study, we proposed method for redue a false alarm with using filtering & sensor technology for distinguish of causes of raise a false alarm and pure flame.
C-SiC films with different content of SiC on stainless steel substrate were prepared with ion beam mixing. It was found that hydrogen concentrations in C-SiC coatings was higher than that in stainless steel after H$\^$+/ ion implantation followed by thermal annealing. Infrared (IR) transmission measurement was used to study the mechanism of hydrogen retention by C-SiC films. The vibrational features in the range between 400 and 3200 cm$\^$-1/ in IR transmission spectra show the Si-CH$_3$, Si-CH$_2$, Si-H, CH$_2$and CH$_3$bonds, which are responsible for retaining hydrogen.
