  • This paper proposes the system that automatically cognizes the external interface cards on control board. This system is proposed by this paper endows with ID to external interface card and cognizes a connection of external interface card. Also this system automatically executes a task for external interface card. This system has an extension of function according to cognize an external interface card and is fast the execution.

  • The dynamic photoelasticity with the aid of Cranz-Shardin type high speed camera system is utilized to record the dynamically propagating behavior of the interface crack. This paper investigates the effects of the stiffness of interface defect(exist along the path of the crack propagation) on the dynamic interface crack propagation behavior by comparing the experimental isochromatic fringes to the theoretical stress fields.

  • An unified measure of user interface efficiency and aesthetics for cyber museum is proposed. First, general structure of cyber museum is discussed and hierarchical analyses are done for sample sites. Usability tests based on the hierarchical analyses yield statistics of user access frequency and persistency for each page, on which access probability is deduced. Second, visual occupancy, a measure of efficiency of user interface element based on access probability is defined. The hierarchical statistics of visual occupancy can be an index for characterization and classification of cyber museums. Examples are provided.

An Extension Behavior of an Interface Kinked Crack by CED (CED에 의한 계면굴절균열의 진전거동)

  • The characteristics on the extension of the CED(Crack energy density) concept to the interface kinked crack problems in a dissimilar material are examined. Each mode contributions of CED are found by symmetric and antisymmetric components and domain independent integrals. Finite element calculation is carried out to simulate the Interface kinked crack growth on bimaterial. The focus is the establishment of fracture criterion with CED and finding the orientation of crack extension. From the results, a prediction about the extension behavior of an interface kinked crack can be done. And we show that CED can be a parameter to indicate fracture criterion at an Interface kinked crack.

We classify multimodal interface technologies into four classes: sequential, alternate, supplementary, and semantic multimodal interfaces. After introducing four types of multimodal interfaces, we explain standard activities currently being activated.
