The toxicity of environmental pollutants was measured between a image of the surface topography in HeLa cells using atomic force microscopy for the possibility of toxic effect measurement and environmental monitoring. A image of the surface topography by AFM were estimated as toxic endpoints. The surface topography by AFM was observed a change of the cell surface in the environmental pollutants, but the standard of the measurement requires for the dose-effect degree. The overall results indicate that the possibility of measurement using AFM were confirmed a dose-effect degree related toxic effects, but it requres correlation between more various biomarker and AFM's measurements if the possibility of the toxic effect measurement was established.

[ $Bi_{3.25}La_{0.75}Ti_3O_{12}$ ] (BLT) thin films were prepared by using metal organic decomposition method onto the $LaNiO_3$ (LNO) bottom electrode. Both the structure and morphology of the films were analyzed by x-ray diffraction (XRD) and atomic force microscope (AFM). Even at low temperatures ranging from 450 to $650^{\circ}C$, the BLT thinfilms were successfully deposited on LNO bottom electrode and exhibited (117) orientation. The BLT thin films annealed as low as $600^{\circ}C$ showed excellent ferroelectricity, higher remanent polarization and no significant degradation of switching charge at least up to $5{\times}10^9$ switching cycles at a frequency of 100 kHz and 5 V. For the annealing temperature of $600^{\circ}C$, the remanent polarization Pr and coercive field were $23.5\;C/cm^2$ and 120 kV/cm, respectively.

La situation de la $r{\acute{e}}gion$ rurale et maritime de la province de Jeollanam-do en $Cor{\acute{e}}e$ du sud se $caract{\acute{e}}rise$ par une relative $p{\acute{e}}nurie$ de population. Le projet 'Ces ${\hat{I}}les$ que l'on aime visiter', $g{\acute{e}}r{\acute{e}}$ par la province de Jeollanam-do, s'articule autour de villages insulaires lieux de bien- ${\hat{e}}tre$ pour viser une augmentation de la population. Il s'agit de $d{\acute{e}}velopper$ le tourisme durable en s'appuyant sur la $beaut{\acute{e}}$ des paysages naturels, l'histoire, la culture et les traditions de cette $r{\acute{e}}gion$ insulaire. Pour cela, la participation active des habitants est essentielle. Cette ${\acute{e}}tude$ a pour but de $r{\acute{e}}fl{\acute{e}}chir$ aux moyens de $d{\acute{e}}velopper$ la participation des habitants en se fondant sur une $enqu{\hat{e}}te$ $men{\acute{e}}e$ dans la campagne. Nous avons mutuellement $analys{\acute{e}}$ entre les moyens de la participation des habitants et l'apanage $d{\acute{e}}mographique$ ${\grave{a}}$ cause de leurs $r{\acute{e}}sultats$ $diff{\acute{e}}rentes$. Voici les moyens de la participation des habitants $fond{\acute{e}}s$ sur la $caract{\acute{e}}ristique$ communautaire: $l^{\prime}activit{\acute{e}}$ $r{\acute{e}}mun{\acute{e}}ratrice$ communautaire; $l^{\prime}am{\acute{e}}lioration$ de l'habitat; les loisirs dans la $r{\acute{e}}gion$. Nous proposons plusieurs exemples pour $d{\acute{e}}velopper$ des programmes $fond{\acute{e}}s$ sur la participation des habitants de $l^{\prime}{\hat{i}}le$ de Nangdo, d'un rite communautaire maritime et des programmes ${\acute{e}}ducationnels$ d'explication touristique.

In this study, we investigated the effects of linoleic acid (LA) treatment on Brucella abortus infection in professional phagocyte RAW264.7 cells, particularly during the pathogen's invasion and intracellular growth in these cells, as well as in murine model BALB/c mice focusing on bacterial splenic proliferation and immunoregulatory activities. LA inhibited the growth of Brucella in a dose- and time-dependent manner. The ability of the pathogen to enter the phagocytes was inhibited as was its survival within these cells. This was accompanied by increased nitrite accumulation in these cells at 24 h post-infection. The concentration of LA used in the present study did not affect the total body weight or liver function of the mice. During Brucella infection, the total splenic weight of these animals was not changed; rather, resistance to bacterial proliferation was enhanced in the spleen. Furthermore, mice treated with LA displayed elevated levels of IL-12 and IFN-γ but reduced levels of IL-10 during infection. The findings in this study showed the regulatory role of LA against B. abortus infection suggesting its potential use in designing intervention strategy for brucellosis.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the in vitro anti-inflammatory and utero-relaxant effect of ${\alpha}$-bisabolol on the pregnant human myometrium. Samples from the pregnant human myometrium were used in functional tests to evaluate the inhibitory effect of ${\alpha}$-bisabolol (560, 860, 1,200 and $1,860{\mu}M$) on spontaneous myometrial contractions. The intracellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels generated in response to ${\alpha}$-bisabolol in human myometrial homogenates were measured by ELISA. The anti-inflammatory effect of ${\alpha}$-bisabolol was determined through the measurement of two pro-inflammatory cytokines, tumor necrosis factor-${\alpha}$ ($TNF{\alpha}$) and interleukin $(IL)-1{\beta}$, and the anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10, in pregnant human myometrial explants stimulated with lipopolysaccharide (LPS). Forskolin was used as a positive control to evaluate the cAMP and cytokine levels. ${\alpha}$-Bisabolol was found to induce a significant inhibition of spontaneous myometrial contractions at the highest concentration level (p<0.05). ${\alpha}$-Bisabolol caused a concentration-dependent decrease in myometrial cAMP levels (p<0.05) and a concentration-dependent decrease in LPS-induced $TNF{\alpha}$ and $IL-1{\beta}$ production, while IL-10 production did not increase significantly (p>0.05). The anti-inflammatory and utero-relaxant effects induced by ${\alpha}$-bisabolol were not associated with an increase in cAMP levels in pregnant human myometrial samples. These properties place ${\alpha}$-bisabolol as a potentially safe and effective adjuvant agent in cases of preterm birth, an area of pharmacological treatment that requires urgent improvement.

In recent year, BLT($Bi_{3.25}La_{0.75}Ti_{3}O_{12}$) has been one of promising substitute materials at the ferroelectric random access memory applications. We manufactured $Bi_{3.25}La_{0.75}Ti_3O_{12}$ Target with a ceramic process. The BLT target was sintered at ${1100^{\circ}C}$ for 4 hours. Using RF magnetron sputtering, a deposited BLT thin films were estimated about ferroelectric properly as a functions of post annealing temperatures. The BLT thin films showed a promoted ferroelectric characteristics at the post annealied sample of ${700^{\circ}C}$. This sample exhibited the (117) preferred crystal orientation, current density of $3{\times}10^{-8}A/cm^2$, a remanent polarization of $8{\mu}C/cm^2$ and a coercive field of 42.1 KV/cm respectively.

La c$\hat{o}$te m$\acute{e}$ridionale de la Cor$\acute{e}$e du sud, et principalement la ville de Yeosu et ses environs pr$\acute{e}$sentent un int$\acute{e}$r$\hat{e}$t particulier puisque le paysage offre de nombreuses presqu'$\hat{i}$les, baies et $\hat{i}$les. Pour tirer profit de ces paysages naturels il est d'abord n$\acute{e}$ssaire de les prot$\acute{e}$ger. Malgr$\acute{e}$ la haute valeur de ces paysages naturels, ils demeurent peu connus et les analyses $\acute{e}$cotouristiques de la ville de Yeosu et ses environs sont encore incompl$\grave{e}$tes. Par ailleurs, la protection de ces paysages naturels est rendue difficile par la d$\acute{e}$sagr$\acute{e}$gation d$\hat{u}$e aux sels halo$\ddot{i}$des. Cette recherche a pour objet l'$\acute{e}$tude du tourisme physico-$\acute{e}$cologique et sa contribution au d$\acute{e}$veloppement $\acute{e}$conomique d'une r$\acute{e}$gion de Yeosu en Cor$\acute{e}$e du sud. Nous nous int$\acute{e}$ressons particuli$\grave{e}$rement au d$\acute{e}$veloppement d'une route $\acute{e}$cotouristique, aux crit$\grave{e}$res de s$\acute{e}$lection du lieu $\acute{e}$cotouristique et $\grave{a}$ la pr$\acute{e}$sentation des explications touristiques, en tenant compte de l'$\hat{i}$le de Sado et de ses paysages naturels sur le plan de l'$\acute{e}$cotourisme. Il y a plusieurs ressources $\acute{e}$cotouristiques sur l'$\hat{i}$le de Sado et dans ses environs: la plage de sable et la falaise de l'$\hat{i}$le de Sado; les traces fossiles de dinosaures, la ripple-mark et la crevasse dans le sol boueux de l'$\hat{i}$le de Joungdo; le tombolo, l'affleurement tufac$\acute{e}$ et le dyke de l'$\hat{i}$le de Silouseom; le trou provoqu$\acute{e}$ par les sels halo$\ddot{i}$des et le dyke de l'$\hat{i}$le de Jangsado; la mer ass$\acute{e}$ch$\acute{e}$e entre l'$\hat{i}$le de Naquek et l'$\hat{i}$le de Choudo. On a, g$\acute{e}$n$\acute{e}$ralement, d$\acute{e}$velopp$\acute{e}$ les reliefs li$\acute{e}$s $\grave{a}$ la couche s$\acute{e}$dimentaire et les fossiles de la derni$\grave{e}$re p$\acute{e}$riode du m$\acute{e}$sozo$\ddot{i}$que. La route $\acute{e}$cotouristique part de l'embarcad$\grave{e}$re de l'$\hat{i}$le de Sado et continue du Nord jusqu'au Sud.

Objective : The application of Sam So Eum (蔘蘇飮, SSE) as a herbal medicine to treat asthma in mice has been studied and the mechanism of cytokine production in asthmatic mice was discussed. Recently, SSE was known to have anti-allergic activity. However, its therapeutic mechanisms are unclear. Methods : So, we investigated the effects of SSE on levels of several cytokines in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) using flow cytometric analysis in allergen-induced asthma. Results : In this experiment, SSE decreased levels of IL-la, IL-17 and GM-CSF respectively. Contrary, SSE restored level of IFN-g toward naive level in BALF. Conclusion : In conclusion, we demonstrate that SSE is useful to treat asthma and it's therapeutic mechanisms are involved in Thl skewing reaction.

란타늄 산화물 ($La_2O_3$) 박막은 하프늄 산화물 ($HfO_2$) 박막보다 높은 유전 상수와 높은 밴드 오프셋으로 인해 dynamic random access memory(DRAM)에서 유전체 재료로써 연구되어 왔다. 그리고 Lanthanum이 도핑된 HfO2이 더 높은 유전 상수와 낮은 누설 전류 밀도를 갖는 다는 사실이 이전에 보고 된 바 있다. 본 연구에서 우리는 ALD를 이용하여, TiN 하부 전극 위에 $La_2O_3$의 위치를 달리하는 $La_2O_3/HfO_2$의 나노 층상조직 구조(두께 10 nm)를 금속 - 절연체 - 금속 (MIM) 구조로 제작 하였다. ALD는 좋은 comformality와 넓은 지역 균일성을 가지며, 원자수준의 두께를 조절할 수 있다는 장점을 갖고 있다. 또한, 다양한 화학 물질들을 이용한 복합적 계층구조를 만들 수 있는 점과 $HfO_2$ 및 $La_2O_3$ 계층의 수직 위치를 정확하게 조절할 수 있는 점으로 본 연구에 적합한 증착 방법이다. HfO2 속에 $La_2O_3$ 층을 깊이에 따라 삽입함으로써 $HfO_2$ 계층에 La 도핑의 효과와 더불어 TiN 하부 전극 위의 $La_2O_3$과 $HfO_2$의 차이점을 확인 하였다. $HfO_2$은 $250^{\circ}C$에서 TDMAH와 물을 사용하여, $La_2O_3$은 동일한 온도에서 $La(iPrCp)_3$와 물을 사용하여 제작되었다. 화학적 구성 및 binding 구조는 X선 광전자 분광법 (XPS)을 통해 분석하였다. 전기적 특성(유전 상수 및 누설 전류)은 Capacitance-Voltage (CV)와 Current-Voltage (IV) 측정으로 확인하였다. 결과적으로, $La_2O_3$ 또는 $HfO_2$을 한 종류만 사용한 절연층의 전기적 특성보다, $La_2O_3/HfO_2$의 나노 층상조직 구조가 더 나은 특성 (누설 전류 밀도 : $5.5{\times}10^{-7}\;A/cm^2$ @-1MV/cm, EOT : 14.6)을 갖는다는 것을 확인했고, 더불어 $La_2O_3$의 흡습 성질로 인한 화학 구조와 전기적 특성의 일부 차이를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 $HfO_2$ 속에 $La_2O_3$층이 TiN 하부 전극 바로 위에 위치할 때, 즉, 공기 중에 노출되지 않은 $La_2O_3/HfO_2$ 구조에서 가장 좋은 특성의 MIM capacitor를 얻을 수 있었다.
