This paper presents an operation and planning model of integrated energy systems which consist of small scale cogeneration systems, thermal accumulator, ice storage and electrical energy storage systems. In the proposed planning model, an optimization of total cost which contains investment, operation, thermal shortage and salvage costs has carried out with the maximum principle based on the lifetime of each system component and unit price per capacity. From this model, optimal investment capacity per annum can be determined during the studied periods using the marginal costs according to the operation characteristics of each system component.

Recently, the analysis of power systems is transfering from analytical techniques to simulation because it is difficult to analyze accurately the phenomena occured in complicated and huge power systems. Digital computers are used popularly to analyze the phenomena of power systems. But real-time simulators were used due to the limitation of digital computer - real time analysis, non-linearity and so on - and rapid development of digital technologies. In this paper, we discuss the advanced foreign power system simulators and the conceptual designs for the KEPCO power system simulator have been drawn for the domestic development.

An artificial neural network(ANN) modeling is presented using the Input-output power characteristics of SMES. When using the ANN which functions as a model-free system, network construction and determination of learning parameters are carefully chosen to represent the complicated nonlinear input-output relation from the black-boxed SMES system. The proposed ANN-based SMES model is applied to analyse the power system stability and the simulation results provide the property of this approach.

Load models for the analysis and simulation of power system are often introduced when the more accurate result is required. This work presents a single expressed load model as T-equivalent circuit of induction motor, for the composite characteristics of various loads. The parameters of the proposed load model are identified based on the system identification method as Recursive Least Square identification method. Case study results show the accuracy of proposed load model, and compared with some field measurements.

The simulation of reactive power compensation in 5-bus and 25-bus system was conducted using transmission-line loss system identification method. Sensitivities of maximum load-power with respect to reactive power compensation was identified by the simulation. With sufficient reactive power compensation at the first voltage-collapsing load-bus, the first voltage collapse could be prevented until the next voltage-collapsing load-bus lost its voltage stability. And the total compensated reactive power at the first voltage-collapsing bus means reactive power margin of voltage collapse or distance to voltage collapse. This quantity can be useful for determining the size of compensating devices or the site to compensate.

오늘날 영화, 애니메이션, CF, 모션 그래픽, 게임 등 모든 영상 분야의 필수 tool로 3D 소프트웨어들이 자리 잡게 된 가장 큰 이유는, 각종 영상물을 제작하는데 있어서 여타 전통적인 방법(미니어처, 매트 페인팅, 실제 엑스트라 인원 동원 등)에 비해 적은 가격으로 훨씬 더 뛰어난 효과를 낼 수 있고, 시간 절약 및 공간의 제약을 받지 않는 다는 장점 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 현재 게임, 애니메이션, 영화 등 각종 콘텐츠에서 거의 필수 요소로 여겨지는 3D 어플리케이션 중, 특히 많이 사용되는 3D 캐릭터 애니메이션의 효율적인 교육을 위하여 Inverse Kinematics 시스템의 특성을 분석하였다. 수많은 Inverse kinematics tool 중, 실무에서 가장 많이 쓰이는 시스템인 Bone, Character studio, Character Animation Toolkit을 중심으로 각 tool의 장단점을 비교 분석함으로써 한정된 시간에 많은 양을 가르쳐야 하는 대학교에 있어서 효율적인 교육을 위해 위 세 가지 Inverse Kinematics tool중 어떤 것을 취사, 선택하여 교육하는 것이 학생들에게 유리한지에 대한 분석결과를 제안하였다.

Consumption of fossil fuel has been increasing steadily, and it has seriously affected environment. Due to this situation, UN establish ed UNFCC (United rations Framework Convention on Climate Change), and since Feb. 2005, Kyoto Protocol has come into effect for UNFCC obligation. In Korean power system, coal and oil thermal generation emitting large CO2 form about 46% of total generation. Moreover since electricity dem and has been increasing continuously, various alternatives should be designed to comply with Kyoto Protocol. In this paper, we analyze changes of each GENCO's generation pattern and resource planning under CO2 emission constraints. For this analysis, we incorporate CO2 emission constraints and the emission trading mechanism into the conventional OPF model.

As UNFCC(United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change) is enhanced, Korea will perform a CO2 reduction duty. The CO2 reduction duty will effect Korea power system because coal and oil thermal generations emit large CO2 form about 46% of total CO2 emission. Moreover various alternatives should be designed to comply with CO2 reduction duty. In this paper, we analysis resource planning considering CO2 emission constraints and emission trading. And we analysis resource planning under using LP(Linear Programing) and MIP(Mixed Integer Programing).

본 논문에서는 고령 휠체어 사용자를 대상으로 능동적인 이동을 위한 보도 탐지와 낙상 사고 감지의 기능을 담은 어플리케이션을 제안하고자 한다. 보도 파손 데이터를 담은 데이터베이스 지도를 형성함으로써, 다른 사용자의 2차 사고 방지도 예방할 수 있을 것이다.

This paper proposes a value-based pricing suitable for deregulation situation in electricity market, where the value is measured based on the service quality such as system reliability. The proposed approach makes it possible to maximize social welfare, in that diversified service can produce the optimal combination set of demand and supply. The proposed pricing can also be applied to a direct load control.
