Obtaining delivery addresses from calls is one of the most important processes in TV home shopping business. By automating this process, the operational efficiency of TV home shopping can be increased. In this paper, a method of recognizing and validating road name address, which is the address system of South Korea, from speech oriented text is proposed. The speech oriented text has three challenges. The first is that the numbers are represented in the form of pronunciation. The second is that the recorded address has noises that are made from repeated pronunciation of the same address, or unordered address. The third is that the readability of the resulted address. For resolving these problems, the proposed method enhances the existing address databases provided by the Korea Post and Ministry of the Interior and Safety. Various types of pronouncing address are added, and heuristic rules for dividing ambiguous pronunciations are employed. And the processed address is validated by checking the existence in the official address database. Even though, this proposed method is for the STT result of the address pronunciation, this also can be used for any 3rd party services that need to validate road name address. The proposed method works robustly on noises such as positions change or omission of elements.

The study was to improve the right to the enjoyment of culture of persons with visual impairment by increasing the accessibility to art exhibitions and exploring assistive measures through needs assessment survey of persons with visual impairment on arts exhibition. We used total 83 responses collected through an online survey. The result are as follows. First, watching movies at a teather was the most frequent leisure activity among persons with visual impairment, while respondents reported attending art exhibitions as the least frequent activity. Yet, 71.1% included attending art exhibitions as one of their top 5 culture and leisure activities. Most of the respondents reported the purpose of attending art exhibitions as fun. However, a primarily visual atmosphere prevented them from visiting the exhibition. Second, persons with visual impairment preferred approaching the art to have a closer look. More than about 50% of the respondents used their residual vision. Most of the respondents reported to use more than two senses when appreciating the exhibits. Moreover, respondents reported that devices/services for multi-sensory experiences would be helpful to appreciate the art. The findings imply that the consideration of the characteristics and needs of persons with visual impairment is required for establishing the environment of art exhibitions. This could further contribute to the improvement of the right to the enjoyment of leisure and culture of persons with visual impairment and lead to the realization of social integration.
The recent medical treatment guidelines and the development of information technology make hospitals reduce the expense in surrounding environment and it requires improving the quality of medical treatment of the hospital. These changes and development of ubiquitous environment require fundamental change of medical information system. Mobile medical information system refers to construct wireless system of hospital which has constructed in existing environment. Through RFID development in existing system, anyone can log on easily to Internet whenever and wherever. RFID is one of the technologies for Automatic Identification and Data Capture(AIDC). It is the core technology to implement Automatic processing system. This paper provides a comprehensive basic review of RFID model in Korea and suggests the evolution direction for further advanced RFID application services. In addition, designed and implemented DB server's agent program and Client program of Mobile application that recognized RFID tag and patient data in the ubiquitous environments. This system implemented medical information system that performed patient data based EMR, HIS, PACS DB environments, and so reduced delay time of requisition, medical treatment, lab.
The purpose of this study is to investigate effects of management support for health and safety on workers' safety perception. Since the 1990s, Korea's national competitiveness has been rising rapidly, but efforts to prevent and cope with industrial accidents are still insufficient. Particularly there is a big movement to strengthen corporate responsibility for serious accidents in the 2020s. In this study structural equation model(SEM) was constructed and quantitatively analyzed in order to know how management's support affects the organization, system, and communication related to safety and health in the company, and ultimately how it has an effect on workers' safety perception. 4,169 questionnaires conducted by the Institute for Occupational Safety and Health were used as observation variables, and 5 hypotheses were established and were verified in SEM. As management support increases, organization & institution for a safe workplace, communication related with safety and health within the company become more active. Finally management support has a positive effect on workers' safety perception. The results of this study imply that management needs to increase awareness of the importance of safety and health before all measures such as organizations, institutions, and communication related to safety and health.

In recent years, public bicycle systems are widely spread over the world according to the development of ICT technology. Since the public bicycle systems in large cities need to secure both publicity and convenience for citizens, analysis of various their issues from introduction to operation is required. In addition, it is also necessary to prepare for various scenarios for coexistence with the PM business, which is recently in the spotlight as a last mile means and normally managed privately. This paper introduces modeling and simulation for efficient operations of public bicycle systems. In particular, the proposed method was developed in a form that can be easily used in other cities by modeling the general structure and behavior of the public bicycle system, and it was developed to facilitate modification and expansion of the future model with a component-based model configuration. This paper provides a case study of the propose method, which is the public bicycle simulation in Sejong City. The simulation results were derived by applying the data from the public bicycle system of Sejong City, and they were verified with the associated real data of Sejong City. Using the verified model, it is expected that it can be used as a tool to design and analyze various services on the public bicycle systems, which were especially suitable for Sejong City.
This study aimed to understand the current status of science and engineering university(SEU) R&D operations depending on the research project characteristics(e.g., stages and characteristics), then provide implications for future university R&D support systems and related policies. Hence, an online survey targeting SEU R&D recipients was conducted between October 4th to November 5th, 2021. Analyzing 445 valid data using the Apriori algorithm, 16 association rules for R&D operation according to the research project characteristics show that regardless of research characteristics, SEU's R&D projects, particularly in applied research, were funded or operated under the leadership of government or public institutions. For basic research, individual researchers had a higher level of autonomy in determining research topics; yet, they had a short duration (3 years) and a unit of evaluation period of more than 3 years. These findings can be empirical evidence for revealing the relationship among various variables in operating SEUs' R&D.

1950-meter-tall goddess is Seolmundae Grandmother with the head of the 1950m Hallasan Mountain Baengnokdam and the body of the mountain ridgeline. Seolmundae Grandmother in Jeju is a folk belief that has been passed down from generation to generation in Jeju. Unlike inland, Seolmundae Grandmother, which had femininity in the customs of Jeju, which was a matrilineal society, developed into an absolute faith in Jeju, metaphorizing that in some way it was inevitable. Seolmundae Grandmother was the only subject that could mentally solve the biggest problem for Jeju residents, even if they were disconnected from the mainland. In other words, Seolmundae Grandmother was unable to make underwear for Seolmundae Grandmother because it was short of 100 bottles of silk, the god of Hallasan, a huge being and a physical symbol. Therefore, Semyungju Grandmother gave up the bridge connecting the mainland and Jeju. In this paper, focusing on the fact that Mt. Halla, covered with snow in winter, is like a skein of silk thread that we usually use in our daily lives, the etymology of Seolmundae has been changed to Saengmyeongju, - Semyungju, which is a skein of fine silk. As a basis for this, there is a custom of tying a thread of silk in 'Semyungju', a shrine to Semyeongju in Halmangdang, 'Hanmosal' along the coast of Pyoseon-myeon. The silk thread is the core of the Packing DNA gene. The summit of Mt. This study predicts the paradigm shift that the development of artificial intelligence technology will bring to the production of music content, and suggests that works created through collaboration between artificial intelligence and humans can have artistic value as finished products. Anyone can easily produce music content using artificial intelligence composition programs, and it has become an opportunity to inspire artists with various attempts and creative ideas. Although artificial intelligence technology provides convenience in human life and benefits a lot in the efficient aspect of work, it is difficult to escape the perception of data-based pattern music in the art field so far. Pattern music with many quantitative elements is not recognized as a complete creation due to the absence of abstract symbolism or meaning pursued by art. However, it predicts that if qualitative elements such as emotions and creativity are given to artificial intelligence music through human collaboration, it can be recognized as a complete work of art. The development of artificial intelligence technology increases access to culture and art from the public, and it can be expected that anyone can enjoy it as well as aesthetic experiences. In addition, various contents can be produced by improving individual digital literacy, and it is an opportunity to share and communicate with others. As such, artificial intelligence technology serves as a medium connecting the public with culture and art, and is narrowing the gap between humans and technology through art activities. Along with this cultural phenomenon, we predict the possibility of research on the production of artificial intelligence music contents with artistic value and the development of various convergence and complex art contents using artificial intelligence technology in the future.
Since the first sale of a banner advertisement in 1995, electronic commerce has become a new transaction channel for consumers. With more than 20 years of its history, electronic commerce has become an important consumption channel for everyone and inexperience is no more a reason that discourages the consumption through this channel. The great expansion of this channel is now a formidable thereat to traditional channels. However, products with high asset specificity and complexity are still having difficulty to be traded over the online channel where the experience of the products for a consumer is limited. Especially, variations of the same product's quality depending on how pre-owners used the product and high complexity to describe the quality of the products prevent used goods from being traded over e-channels. Added to that, the information asymmetry between sellers and buyers for used goods makes the establishment of market transaction difficult. Considering the challenges, the current case study discusses thredUP, a clothing resale platform company. In this paper, we study how the company could overcome those limitations in this toughest resale market through the use of AI for dynamic pricing and standarized product quality ratings. In addition, we also hope to provide readers with the opportunity to understand the secondhand industries and its market, and see where it is heading for in the future.
Purpose: This study examined the effect of VR safety education content quality on behavioral intention and collect operational opinions through interview. Method: Based on the survey data of 93 former and current officers, the hypothesis was verified. In addition, 15 fire safety experience centers were visited to conduct interview. Result: For the quality of VR safety education contents, immersion and convenience had a significant effect on usage satisfaction, recommendation intention, and field application intention. In addition, convenience and aesthetic experience had a significant effect on the educational effect, but immersion and diversity did not significant. In the interview, they suggested that VR education has high user satisfaction and good educational effects. The quality of content(particularly immersion and convenience) is an important factor in VR education. In the long-term persepective, it is necessary to prepare a standard teaching plan for each disaster, in addition, manpower, expertise, maintenance problems, and etc. Conclusion: Through these results, it was confirmed that VR experience content quality affects behavioral intention and educational effect and that efforts and investments to improve content quality are needed to enhance the effectiveness of VR experience education. And the contents derived from the interview will be helpful in the operation of an effective fire safety experience center.
