The study focuses on the ICT industry, which is considered future growth engine. Tthe main objective of the research is to examine the extent of the competitiveness of the Chinese ICT industry, which is rapidly emerging as a competitor of the ICT industry in Korea. The ICT items subject to primary analysis of this study were computer and peripherals items. Analysis methods used were MSI (Market Share Index), EBI (Export Bias Index), and MCA (Market Comparative Advantage). The analysis period was from 2008 to 2016, and the analysis dater used were the export-import data provided by KITA. According to the study, Korean market share of Chinese computers and peripherals items has continued to increase, exports concentrated on the Korean market are intensifying, though the degree of competitiveness gained by the Korean market is quite strong. In particular, 852851, 847160 items have the largest competitiveness in the Korean market compared to other items used in this study. The implications of this study for the Korean market are as follows: i) improvement of quality with price ii) convergence product development between computer and peripherals items and consumer -friendly design development, and iii) marketing efforts to improve product awareness so that consumers recognize Korean computer and peripherals products.

CEO's leadership is considered most important to cope with the rapidly changing ICT industry environment. Thus, this study attempted to investigate the impacts of the CEO's transformational leadership (referred to as "TL") on the organizational members' innovative/organizational citizenship behavior("IB/OCB") in the domestic ICT businesses. For this, this study conducted an on-line survey with the employees of businesses that belonged to the ICT industry, and received 417 valid responses. The analysis results by SPSS & Amos showed that the ICT business CEO's TL had a significantly positive impact on the members' self-efficacy; the members' self-efficacy not only had a positive impact on their own IB/OCB, but also had a mediating roles in the relationship between CEO's TL and IB/OCB. The Results indicated that the TL should be a CEO's core competency to arouse the members' IB/OCB through members' self-efficacy in the ICT industry.

In 2011, Government introduced "IT Convergence Technology Prediction Survey 2025". This report includes 10 ICT industries. Convergence was combined with a word 'digital'. Digital convergence means a service or new product which appeared through fusion of unit technologies in information and communication regions. The effects of convergence technologies and social phenomenons are visualized in overall regions of society such as economy, society, culture, etc. In this paper, we described a prospects and technologies needed in digital convergence environment. And we described IT-Building, IT-Car, IT-Medicine, IT-Textile which was related with our lives in today among 10 ICT industries.

Upon rapid growth of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Korea, the necessity of improved quality of official statistics in ICT is uprising. In order to improve the quality of ICT statistics, various factors such as survey quality, processing quality, output quality and reputation of statistical agency need to be considered together. We use a structural equation model to find a relationship among such factors which can influence the customer satisfaction. Furthermore, this study provides customer with characterized feedback information by comparing the satisfaction indices. It is expected that our model can be used to improve the quality of official ICT statistics.

본 연구는 산업조직이론과 자원기반관점을 통합하여 사업 다각화에 대한 산업환경요인과 기술역량의 결정요인들로 구성한 통합모형을 설계하고, 제안한 모형을 스마트공장 ICT융합기술(애플리케이션 및 플랫폼 분야) 특허 출원기업 272개사의 6개년(2010년~2015년) 특허 및 재무데이터를 이용하여 실증적으로 분석하였다. 고정효과 패널모형을 분석한 결과, 기업의 사업다각화 의사결정에 영향을 미치는 요인들 가운데 기술경쟁력은 사업다각화 수준을 높이는 긍정적 효과가 검증되었다. 추가적으로 2단계 최소자승 고정모형을 분석한 결과, 출원특허수 보다 특허의 기술융합수준이 기술경쟁력을 증대시키는 유의미한 긍정적 효과가 있음을 검증하였다. 본 연구 결과에 근거하여 기업의 ICT융합기술자원 및 역량을 바탕으로 한 사업 다각화 전략기획방향과 정부 R&D 정책과 관련하여 융합기술자원의 사업화 지원방안에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

The Korean government announced plans for the International Science Business Belt as a spatial area for promoting the linkage between scientific knowledge and commercialization in 2009. R&D and entrepreneurial activities are essential for the success of the International Science Business Belt. In particular, prioritizing the types of businesses is critical at the cluster establishment stage in that this largely affects the features and development of clusters comprising the International Science Business Belt. This research aims to predict the entry and growth of firms that specialize in four industrial clusters, including Big Science Cluster, Frontier Cluster, ICT Cluster, and Bio-Healthcare Cluster. For this purpose, we employ the Swann & Prevezer's industrial clustering model to identify sectors that affect the establishment and growth of industrial clusters in the International Science Business Belt, focusing on ICT, Bio-Healthcare and Frontier clusters. Data was collected from the 2014 Korean Innovation Survey (KIS) and University Alimi for the ICT cluster, 2014 National Bio Industry Survey and University Alimi for the Bio-Healthcare Cluster, and the 2015 National Nano Convergent Industry Survey and Annual Report of Nano Technology for the Frontier cluster. Empirical results show that the ICT service sector, bio process/equipment sector, and Nano electronic sector promote clustering in other sectors. Based on the analysis results, we discuss several policy implications and strategies that can attract relevant firms for the development of industrial clusters.
