  • Purpose: This study was to examine the relation of nurses' job stress and knowledge, attitude and care behavior for elderly patient in hospitals. Method: One hundred ninety one nurses caring the elderly patients in hospitals in Ilsan, Busan and Gyeongsangnam-do were subjects. The data was collected between Sept. 21 and 31, 2009. Data was analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation with SPSS/Win 17.0 and the fitness of pathway models with AMOS 5.0. Results: The mean scores of job stress and knowledge were in middle range, and attitude and care behavior were in a little higher range. The fitness of hypothetical model was excellent. Job stress had direct effects on attitude and care behavior, knowledge had direct effect on attitude and attitude had direct effect on care behavior. But the pathways related to job stress and attitude and job stress and care behavior were not significant. In modified model deleted the pathway between job stress and attitude, the pathway related to job stress and behavior also was not significant. Conclusion: Education related to the elderly for nurses to improve care behavior is needed continuously.

투석 전 만성 신부전 환자의 삶의 질 구조 모형 (Structural Equation Modeling on Quality of Life in Pre-dialysis Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to test structural equation modeling of the quality of life of pre-dialysis patients, in order to provide guidelines for the development of interventions and strategies to improve the quality of life of patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Methods: Participants were patients who visited the nephrology outpatient department of a tertiary hospital located in Seoul. Data on demographic factors, social support, nutritional status, physical factors and biobehavioral factors and quality of life were collected between March 4 and March 31, 2011. Results: In the final analysis 208 patients were included. Of the patients 42% were in a malnourished state. Anxious or depressed patients accounted for 62.0%, 72.6%, respectively. Model fit indices for the hypothetical model were in good agreement with the recommended levels (GFI=.94 and CFI=.99). Quality of life in pre-dialysis patients with CKD was significantly affected by demographic factors, social support, nutritional status, physical factors and biobehavioral factors. Biobehavioral factors had the strongest and most direct influence on quality of life of patients with CKD. Conclusion: In order to improve the quality of life in pre-dialysis patients with CKD, comprehensive interventions are necessary to assess and manage biobehavioral factors, physical factors and nutritional status.

간호사의 조직내 대인관계 역량에 관한 구조모형 (The Structural Modeling for Nurses' Interpersonal Competence within an Organization)

  • Purpose: This study was designed to identify a path model that anticipates the interpersonal competence of nurses by anticipating factors that explain interpersonal competence within an organization, and analyzing the effects of these factors. A hypothetical model was formulated based on a literature review of interpersonal competence. For the study, influential factors were divided into two variables: exogenous variables including communication style, coaching leadership, and social support, and endogenous variables of self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. Methods: The sample included 202 hospital nurses. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS and AMOS. Results: The overall fitness was good ($x^2=74.707$, p<.001), d.f=19, $x^2/df=3.932$, GFI=.940, AGFI=.826, RMR=.009). Social support, self-efficacy, horizontal communication and organizational commitment directly affected the interpersonal competence of the nurses, and informal type of communication, horizontal, upward communication and coaching leadership indirectly effected the interpersonal competence of the nurses. Horizontal communication, social support, self-efficacy, and organizational commitment explained 46.5% of the variance in interpersonal competence of nurses. Conclusion: Based on the study results, nurses in hospitals need informal types of communication, horizontal, upward communication and coaching leadership to increase their interpersonal competence.

병원간호사의 사회적 자본과 직무열의가 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향: 조직시민행동의 매개효과를 중심으로 (Effects of Nurses' Social Capital and Job Engagement on Nursing Performance: Focused on the Mediating effects of Organizational Citizenship Behavior)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the casual relationship between nurses' social capital, job engagement and nursing performance and to verify the goodness of fit between a hypothetical model and actual data in order to suggest the best model. Methods: This survey was conducted with 250 nurses working in 3 general hospitals in Seoul. Data were collected from June 20 to July 29, 2016 and analyzed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. Results: Nurses' social capital and job engagement were found to have no direct effect on increasing nursing performance. But, it was found that social capital and job engagement had indirect effects on nursing performance through mediating organizational citizenship behavior. Social capital had direct effects on increasing job engagement and indirect effects on organizational citizenship behavior. Conclusion: Results of this study indicate that nurse managers should concentrate efforts on increasing nurses's job engagement and preparing organization to increase social capital in order to improve nursing performance.

의류상품 구매고객과 판매원의 다차원 관계몰입 영향요인 (Influentional Factors on Multidimensional Relationship Commitment between Salesperson and Apparel Purchaser)

  • Today apparel finns make much effort to build a long-term relationship with their customers. The studies of salesperson-customer relationship emphasized the importance of customer's commitment on the formation of the continuous salesperson-consumer relationship. Therefore, the current study deals with the psychological relationship commitment development and from this prospective examines how consumers maintain the continuous relationship with a particular salesperson. The data were collected from January to February 2005 and analyzed by using SPSS 11.5 and Amos 5.0 with factor analysis, regression, ANOVA, path analysis. The results are as follows: First, the hypothetical model of multidimensional consumer commitment which showed a better fit of data than the rival model is unintentionally conceptualized. Second, the result showed that the affective commitment did the most effective role among the three dimensions of commitment consulted in this study. Especially the data indicated that for the establishment of the affective commitment in the salesperson-customer relationship. it is very important that a customer has deep trust in salesperson's ability, benevolence and honesty.

  • The purpose of this essay is to review family ethics and child rearing reflected in WonBuddism and to suggest hypothetical model of family ethics and child rearing appropriate to modern society. WonBuddist family ethics hasits roots in the concept of "Grace" specifically, the essence of all relationships in the world as characterized by "Grace". WonBuddist family ethics based on this world view emphasizes mutual support, harmony and service for the public. The purpose of WonBuddist child rearing is to bring up children who recognize the world order mention above while, at the same time, developing the capacity to support oneself, ultimately resulting in individuals who are balanced both morally and practically. A WonBuddist model of family ethics and child rearing appropriate to modern society includes: (1) the concept of "Grace as a principle" for the restoration of essential humanity, (2) the principle of "mutual support" and "essential humanity" for the restoration of the feeling of family community (i.e., the cohesion of the family), and (3) the moral principle, "capacity for self support and public service" as a way of moderating the family oriented value system.

한국 중년층 치주질환자의 건강관련 삶의 질 구조모형 (Structural Equation Modeling of Health-related Quality of Life in Periodontal Disease Patients for the Middle-aged Koreans)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to explore diverse factors of patients with periodontal diseases, make comprehensive and pluralistic assessment of relevant factors, construct a hypothetical model, including direct and indirect paths, and test goodness-of-fit of the model. Methods : TRaw data were used from the sixth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey for the first and second years which was conducted from January 2013 to December 2014. Excluding current patients with cancer which could severely affect the quality of life among patients with periodontal diseases who were between 40 and 64 years of age, a total of 1,555 patients were included and finally analyzed in this study. Results : Among the factors affecting the quality of life, health perception had total effects through direct effects and functions had indirect and total effects through the channel of health perception. Conclusions : In oral health programs for the middle-aged, it is necessary to have preventive interventions in oral health; in particular, it is necessary to provide intervention programs that can improve health perception and relieve functional restrictions.

복잡지형의 대기확산모델 비교 (Comparison of Complex Terrain Dispersion Models)

  • Six complex terrain dispersion models recommended by the U. S. Environmental Protection Agency were investigated using a hypothetical case in which a plume approaches complex terrain. The six models considered were Valley, CTSCREEN, COMPLEX 1, SHORTZ, RTDM, and CTDMPLUS, the latter four being closely studied. Highest concentrations were predicted for 48 receptors and plume behaviors were compared for stable and unstable meteorological conditions. Under stable conditions, ground-level concentrations were determined by the height of the plume centerline above the terrain. The concentrations estimated by SHORTZ and COMPLEX I were higher than those estimated by CTSCREEN, with CTDMPLUS predicting the lowest concentrations. In particular, the height of the lift midpoint, as well as the co.nterline of the plume, are important in the model calculation of CTDMPLUS. Under unstable conditions, the vertical dispersion plays a key role in determining ground -level concentrations. For this case, concentrations predicted by CTDMPLUS were the 'highest, whereas those predicted by SHORTZ were the lowest. Concentration distributions predicted by CTDMPLUS are quite similar to typical Gaussian distributions even on complex terrain, except for a slight shift of the plume centerline due to the of(tract of the geostrophic wind. In addition,24-hour average concentrations were estimated for comparison with results from the Valley model. Among the four models studied closely, CTDMPLUS predicted the lowest 24-hour average concentrations, but the concentrations estimated by Valley were lower than those estimated by CTDMPLUS.

교육행정공무원 상급자의 감성리더십, 임파워먼트, 직무만족 간의 구조 관계 (A Structural Relationship among Emotional Leadership of Educational Administrative Officials' Superiors, Empowerment, and Job Satisfaction)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine structural relations between the emotional leadership of educational administrative officials' superiors and subordinates' empowerment and job satisfaction. To attain the study goal, this researcher finally selected 368 educational administrative officials working in Gyeongsangbuk-do and conducted statistical analysis. Accordingly, this study has drawn the following detailed conclusions: First, there is statistically significant positive correlation among the subfactors of the emotional leadership of educational administrative officials' superiors and subordinates' empowerment and job satisfaction. Second, it has been found that the hypothetical path model to explain the emotional leadership of educational administrative officials' superiors and subordinates' empowerment and job satisfaction is appropriate. In other words, among the goodness-of-fit indexes of the final study model, ${\chi}^2=203.657$ (p<.001), RMR equals .030, RMSEA is .093, GFI equals .910, and AGFI is .900. About its relative goodness-of-fit indexes, TLI equals .930, NFI is .933, CFI equals .948, and IFI is .949; therefore, all indexes have been found to be allowable. Third, emotional leadership of educational administrative officials' superiors have had this influence directly on job satisfaction. But, the total influence of the emotional leadership of educational administrative officials' superiors on job satisfaction is smaller than that on job satisfaction with the mediation of subordinates' empowerment.

병원 통합물류시스템(SCM)이 물류 업무성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Hospital SCM on Logistics Performance)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the causal relationships among quality of hospital SCM (system quality, information quality, service quality), perceived usefulness, user satisfaction and logistics performance by hospital staff. Methods: A survey using a structured questionnaire was conducted with 276 hospital staff. Analysis of the data was with both SPSS Win 18.0 for descriptive statistics and AMOS 8.0 for the structural equation model. Results: The hypothetical model yielded Chi-square=8.121 (p=.087), df=4, $x^2$/df=2.030. GFI=.989, AGFI=.942, RMSEA=.066, NFI=.995, CFI=.997 TLI=.990 and showed good fit indices. Three dimensions of quality of SCM had significant direct effects on perceived usefulness. System and service of quality of SCM had significant direct effects on user satisfaction. Perceived usefulness had significant direct effects on user satisfaction. User satisfaction had significant direct effects on logistics performance. Conclusion: These results suggest that logistics performance can be enhanced by user satisfaction, user satisfaction can be enhanced by perceived usefulness, and perceived usefulness can be enhanced by quality of hospital SCM. Further study with various hospitals and various variables is necessary.
