Effects of the types of incentive system and individualism-collectivism on pay satisfaction (개인주의-집합주의 성향과 성과급 형태가 임금만족에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of individual tendency of individualismcollectivism and the type of incentive system on pay satisfaction. Data were collected from 243 workers employed in a variety of organizations and a hierarchical regression and MANOVA was conducted to test hypothesis. The results of regression indicated that the interaction between the type of incentive and tendency of collectivism has positive influence on pay satisfaction. In addition, the results of MANOVA indicated that the interaction between individual tendency of individualismcollectivism and the type of incentive system has significant effect on pay satisfaction Specifically, the tendency of individualism has positive influence on the pay satisfaction under the individual incentive condition. However, the tendency of collectivism has negative influence on the pay satisfaction partially under the individual incentive condition. In addition, the tendency of collectivism has positive influence on the pay satisfaction under the group incentive condition. These results suggest that careful consideration in the organization need to decide for the use of individual incentive system, when we regard the Korean culture as high tendency of collectivism. In other words, individual incentive system may could not provide pay satisfaction to the employees who have high level collectivism. However, to generalize these results, more studies were examined in the future.

A Study on the Predictability of Moist Convection during Summer based on CAPE and CIN (대류가용잠재에너지와 대류억제도에 입각한 여름철 습윤 대류 예측성에 대한 연구)

  • This study analyzed rawinsonde soundings observed during the summer and early fall seasons (June, July, August and September) on the Korean peninsula to examine the utility of the Convective Available Potential Energy (CAPE) and Convective Inhibition (CIN) in predicting the occurrence of deep moist convection and precipitation. Rawinsonde soundings are categorized into two groups based on thermodynamic criteria: high CAPE and low CIN represent a high potential for deep moist convection; low CAPE and high CIN indicate conditions unfavorable for deep convection. A statistical hypothesis test is conducted to determine whether the two groups are significantly different in terms of 12-hour cumulative precipitation, 12-hour mean cloud base, and 12-hour mean mid-level cloud cover. The results, in the case of no-precipitation, reveal statistically significant differences between the two groups, except for the 12-hour mean cloud base during the 21:01-09:00 KST time period. This suggests that the group characterized by high CAPE and low CIN is more conducive to the occurrence of deep moist convection and precipitation than the group with low CAPE and high CIN.

A Study on Attitudes and Acceptance of Port Digital Transformation (항만 디지털 전환에 대한 수용태도와 수용성에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to derive factors that affect the acceptance of digital transformation in ports and empirically analyze the impact of these factors on the acceptance of digital transformation through a survey of port workers. Additionally, we test whether acceptance attitude plays a mediating role in the relationship between these factors and digital transformation acceptance. The variables used in this study are as follows. First, knowledge, self-efficacy, and involvement were included as variables related to individual characteristics, relative advantages, complexity, observability were included as variables related to innovation characteristics, and government regulations and competitor pressure were included as variables relate to environmental characteristics, so that a total of eight latent variables were selected. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, two variables among individual characteristics, self-efficacy and involvement, were able to confirm a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, and knowledge initially expected a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, but the result was a negative(-) causal relationship, so that the hypothesis was rejected. Second, among the characteristics of innovation, complexity has a negative(-) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation, and relative advantages and technological innovation have a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation. Finally, among the environmental characteristics, government regulations and competitor pressure, confirmed a positive(+) causal relationship with the attitude of accepting digital transformation. In addition, it was found that the attitude of accepting digital transformation had a positive(+) causal relationship with personal acceptance and social acceptance of digital transformation.

The Effects of Internal Market Orientation on Service Providers' adaptive service behavior : Serial Multiple Mediation Effects of Person-Environment Fit and Work Engagement (내부시장 지향성이 서비스 제공자의 적응적 서비스 행동에 미치는 영향: 개인-환경 적합성과 직무열의의 연속다중매개효과)

  • This study sought to examine how internal market orientation of service organizations affects the service providers' adaptive service behavior and to determine what psychological processes go through for this purpose. To achieve this purpose, based on previous research, a research model was set up to predict that internal market orientation of service organizations will increase service providers' adaptive service behavior by continuously mediating the psychological processes of person-environment fit and work engagement. To test the hypothesis, a survey was conducted and data were collected from nutritionists at consignment catering companies located in Busan and Gyeongnam. As a result of testing the hypotheses proposed in this study's research model, internal market orientation increased person-job fit and person-organization fit, which are key elements of person-environment fit. And, it was confirmed that person-job fit and person-organization fit have a positive effect on work engagement. Additionally, work engagement improved service providers' adaptive service behavior. Lastly, this study confirmed that the influence of internal market orientation on adaptive service behavior is continuously mediated by person-environment fit and job enthusiasm.

Perceptions of social presence and aggressive behavior in cyberspace (사이버 공간에서 사회적 실재감의 지각과 공격행동)

  • This study investigated the effects of social presence as means of self-awareness and interpersonal-awareness on the cyber-aggressive behavior. The cyber-aggressive behavior (flaming and direct aggression use of character) should be differ from existence of social presence and type of social presence of internet users. To test hypothesis, an experiment was executed a field study on cyberspace, an on-line game, "fortress 2 blue forever". I made a chat-room in the game site to conduct an experiment to 107 person who entered the chat-room and blinded ignorance of this situation made by researchers. As the subjects enter the chat-room, he chats with 3 researchers who were waiting before he gets in. The social presence was operated with 3 phases by the contents of the chat (①control group; nothing, ②experimental group 1; reaction about other people ③experimental group 2; reaction about other people + self-exposure by an exchange information of their home region). The studies show that, subjects of the control group behaved more aggressively than other subjects of the experimental groups(both flaming and direct aggression use of character). Meantime, I compared experimental group 1 with experimental group 2 to investigate difference between the type of social presence. As the result, subjects of the experimental group 1 behaved more aggressively than experimental group 2 (only flaming, there's no difference in direct aggression use of character).

The Effects of Competence and Government Support Service of Micro and Small Business on Performance: Mediating Effects of Self Efficiency (소상공인의 역량과 정부지원 서비스가 성과에 미치는 영향: 자기효능감의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • Micro and small enterprises are businesses that absorb the most labor in Korea. The position of micro and small enterprises in the national economy has an important and strategic role because micro and small enterprises are quite dominant in the Korea economy. The purpose of this study is to look at the effect of the CEO' business experience, competency(job competency, money competency, digital competency), government support service(government support satisfaction, education support) on the performance. For this study, data was collected from 220 CEO by using questionnaires. The statistics analysis SPSS 24.0 was used, it is a factor analysis, reliability test and multiple regression analysis for hypothesis verification. The research results are as follows. First, as a result of examining the effect of the CEO competency on the performance, it was found that among the competency factors, money competency and digital competency had a significantly positive (+) effect on the performance. Second, as a result of examining the effect of government support service on the performance, government support satisfaction, education support had a positive (+) effect on the performance. Thirdly, in the relationship between CEO' business experience, competency, government support service and performance, the mediating effect of self efficiency was significant money competency→self efficiency→performance, digital competency→self efficiency→performance.

A Study on the Perceived Value and Intention of Use of Mobile Shopping Apps Using Value-Based Adoption Model (VAM) (가치기반수용모델(VAM)을 활용한 모바일 쇼핑 앱의 지각된 가치와 사용의도에 관한 연구)

  • As the spread of smartphones has become more common and the utilization rate has increased, the mobile shopping market is also growing and expectations for related industries are also increasing. Mobile shopping apps are converging with various industries such as fashion, beauty, and lifestyle, and competition among companies to increase the number of users is intensifying with the activation of non-face-to-face. Accordingly, in this study, a study on the perceived value and intention to use mobile shopping apps was conducted based on a VAM. In order to test the hypothesis of this study, a questionnaire was conducted on 266 people who had used a mobile shopping app and it was used for analysis. Looking at the results, it was confirmed that both usefulness and enjoyment among the perceived benefit of mobile shopping apps have a positive (+) effect on the perceived value. However, it was found that the technicality and perceived risk among the perceived sacrifices of mobile shopping apps did not significantly affect the perceived value. Finally, it was confirmed that the perceived value of the mobile shopping app had a positive (+) effect on the intention to use. Through this study, we would like to examine the factors that can affect perceived value and usage intention in the mobile shopping app industry, which is increasingly competitive among companies along with the rapid growth of mobile technology and market, and suggest practical implications for related companies and officials to establish efficient strategies to further increase mobile shopping app users.

A Study on the Use of Retailtech and Intention to Accept Technology based on Experiential Marketing (체험마케팅에 기반한 리테일테크 활용과 기술수용의도에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to determine how the use of retailtech technology affects consumers' purchase intention. Furthermore, this study aims to investigate the mediating effects of technology usefulness and ease of use on this influence relationship and whether experiential marketing moderates consumers' purchase intention. The survey was conducted from August 1, 2023 to September 30, 2023, and a total of 257 people participated in the study. For statistical analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, three-stage mediation regression analysis, and hierarchical three-stage controlled regression analysis were conducted to test the hypothesis. The results of the study are as follows. First, it was confirmed that big data-AI utilization, mobile-SNS utilization, live commerce utilization, and IoT utilization affect purchase intention in retail technology utilization. Second, technology usefulness has a mediating effect on IoT utilization, mobile-SNS utilization, and big data-AI utilization. Third, perceived ease of use of technology mediated the effects of IoT utilization, mobile-SNS utilization, live-commerce utilization, and big data-AI utilization. Fourth, escapist experience has a moderating effect on mobile SNS utilization and live commerce utilization. Fifth, esthetic experience has a moderating effect on mobile-SNS utilization and big data-AI utilization. Through this study, we hope that the domestic distribution industry will contribute to national competitiveness by securing the competitive advantage of companies by utilizing new technologies in entering the global market.

A Study on the Relationship between Enterprise RFID Capability and Strategic Supply Chain Capability and Firm Performance: Focusing on Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain Enterprises in China (기업의 RFID 역량과 전략적 공급사슬역량 및 기업성과 간 관계에 관한 연구: 중국 내 물류, 유통, 공급망 기업을 중심으로)

  • This study reviews previous studies about the effects of RFID capabilities on strategic supply chain competence and business performance in the Chinese context. This study introduces a new perspective that measures the degree to which RFID capability levels contribute to business performance. Such an assumption is based on the fact that companies build their own capabilities through RFID capabilities and that these capabilities provide a competitive advantage for enterprises. Data on all sorts of logistics, distribution, and manufacturing companies that introduced RFID system in China were collected for data analysis. This study analyzes the structural equation modeling using Smart-PLS 2.0 program. This study confirms that internal reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity are satisfied. The hypothesis test result on the relationship between RFID capacity and strategic supply chain competence and strategic supply chain competence and company results is partially adopted. This study aids in establishing a RFID system construction strategy to enhance supply chain competence by suggesting guidelines for the successful introduction of RFID system through identifying the causal relationship between RFID capacity and strategic supply chain competence. This study also suggests the influence of RFID competency on visibility, agility, flexibility, and collaborations.

A Preliminary Study of The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory for the Korean Version (싱어 루미스 심리 유형 검사의 한국판 제작을 위한 예비연구)

  • Psychological typology in analytic psychology is used not only for ascertaining the attitude or function of the conscious ego, but also as one blueprint for the individuation process. We all know the need to emphasize an awareness of the deployment and development of the superior function, the secondary function, the third function and the inferior function for the individuation process. This study has the goal of refining our awareness of this deployment and development of typological functions. The questionnaires of the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Gray Wheelwrights Jungian Type Survey use the method of a forced-choice questionnaire, on the assumption of a bi-polarity hypothesis. But the questionnaire of the Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory uses the Likert scale. It is able to show the deployment of the superior function, the secondary function, the third function and the inferior function visibly. It allows us to test the subject at stated periods for his/her development or change of psychological typology. The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory is a statistically superior method for showing Jung's psychological typology relative to both the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory and the Gray Wheelwrights Jungian Type Survey. I have studied how the original authors of The Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory understood Jung's psychological typology. I produced the reliability and the item-discrimination power of the Korean Version of the Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory. On the basis of this study, I produced the revised Korean version 1 of Singer-Loomis Type Deployment Inventory.
