탄화수소 및 할로겐화탄화수소의 최소산소농도(MOC)의 예측 (Prediction of Minimum Oxygen Concentration(MOC) of Hydrocarbons and Halogenated Hydrocarbons)

  • 최소산소농도의 정확한 지식은 산업화재를 적절하게 예방하고, 제어하는데 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 Response Surface Methodology(RSM) 방법과 문헌자료를 사용하여 최소산소농도(MOC)를 예측하는 식을 제시하였다. 탄화수소에 대한 예측 식에 의해 계산된 최소산소농도와 문헌값의 A.A.P.E.(average absolute percent error)는 $3.48\%$, A.A.D.(average absolute deviation)는 $0.57vo1\%$ 그리고 상관계수는 0.919이다. 탄화수소와 할로겐화탄화수소를 포함한 경우 예측값과 문헌값의 A.A.P.E.는 $5.06\%$, A.A.D.는 $0.59vo1\%$, 상관계수는 0.938이다. 제시한 예측식에 의한 계산값은 문헌값과 일치하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제시된 식이 다른 가연성물질의 최소산소농도 연구에도 이용되기를 기대한다.

토양의 휘발성 염화 탄화수소 화합물 증발 (Evaporation of Volatile Chlorinated Hydrocarbons in Soils)

  • 독성 성질을 가진 휘발성 염소계 탄소수소류의 휘발특성에 대하여 실험실 규모의 토양컬럼실험을 진행하였다. 실트점토성 토양과 사질성의 양질 토양 2개 컬럼으로부터 $12^{\circ}C$, $21^{\circ}C$의 각각 다른 조건으로 실험한 결과 총 10가지의 휘발성염소계 화학물질이 검출되었다. 1,1,1-trichloroethane, trichloroethylene 그리고 chloroform은 초기 농도대비 36.7~54.6% 제거되었고 carbon tetrachloride, 1,2-dichlorobenzene, tetrachloroethylene, 1,3-dichlorobenzene, dichlorobromethane 그리고 dibromochloromethane는 초기 농도대비 15.3~39.3% 제거되었으며 특히 bromoform 물질의 경우 초기 농도대비 10%이하의 가장 낮은 저감 비율이 보였다. 염소계 탄화수소류 초기 농도값, 토양 성상은 휘발량에 큰 영향을 끼치지 않았다. 그러나, 온도비교에서 $12^{\circ}C$보다 $21^{\circ}C$에서 저감비율이 더 높았다.

  • Fischer-Tropsch 합성공정은 합성가스로부터 탄화수소를 합성하는 대표적인 방법이며, 주로 철(Fe)계와 코발트(Co)계 촉매로 알려져 있다. 현재 생성물에 따라 일부 기술(CTL, GTL 등)은 상용 규모로 운전되고 있으나, 경질탄화수소와 중간유분을 직접 생산하는 연구는 아직 상용화되지는 않았다. 그러므로, 본 연구에서는 국내에서 현재까지 경질탄화수소와 중간유분을 직접 생산하기 위한 연구들을 정리하였으며, 촉매의 제조법, 조촉매 첨가, 제올라이트의 조합과 같은 영향이 생성물의 선택도에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다.

  • Benzenoid 탄화수소의 발암성은 분자의 위상학적 성질에 크게 의존하며, 특히 benzenoid탄화수소가 발암성을 가질려면 그 구조상에 "bay region"이라고 알려진 부분이 존재하여야 한다는 것이 널리 알려져 있다. 81가지 benzenoid 탄화수소에 대하여 발암성 "bay region"을 molecular connectivity index의 크기는 그들 화합물 중에 단일결합을 가지는 화합물을 제외하고는 아주 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

다환방향족탄화수소류의 음식물을 통한 섭취량과 혈중농도 (Dietary Intake and Venous Blood Concentration of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Low-level Exposure)

  • Objectives: This study aims to evaluate the blood concentrations and dietary intake for 24-hour food duplicate of low level polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). Design: The geometric means of the blood concentrations and dietary intake of 16 PAHs in college student candidates were simply compared with instrumental detection. Methods: The concentrations of 16 PAHs in venous blood and 24-hour food duplicates were analyzed with head-space solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME) of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry. Results: Naphthalene, acenaphthylene, pyrene, benz(a)anthracene, chrysene, and acenaphthene among the 16 analyzed PAHs were simultaneously detected both in venous blood and 24-hour food duplicate samples. Conclusion: The main exposure source of the six PAHs is thought to be oral intake from food through low level non-occupational exposure.

백색부후균을 이용한 다환방향족 탄화수소(PAHs) 의 분해 (Biodegradation of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons by White Rot Fungi)

  • The white rot fungi Phanerochaete chrysosporium(IFO 31249) Trametes sp and Pleurotus sp. were studied for their ability to degrade Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons(PAHs) using anthracene and pyrene as model compounds. The disapperarance anthracene and pyrene of from cultures of wild type strains. P chrysosporium Trametes sp. and Pleurotus sp was observed However the activities of ligninolytic enzymes were not detected in P chrysosporium cultures during degradation while ligninolytic enzymes were detected in both culture of Trametes sp. and Pleurotus sp. Therefore our results showed that PAHs was degraded under ligninolytic as well as nonligninolytic conditions. The results also indicate that lignin peroxidase(LiP) mananese peroxidase(MnP) and laccase are not essential for the biodegradation of PAHs by white rot fungi.

Biodegradation of Hydrocarbons by an Organic Solvent-Tolerant Fungus, Cladosporium resinae NK-1

  • A kerosene fungus of Cladosporium resinae NK-1 was examined for its ability to degrade individual n-alkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, and its organic solvent-tolerance was investigated by making use of the water-organic solvent suspension culture method. It grew on a wide range of solvents of varying hydrophobicities and it was found to have tolerance to various kinds of toxic organic solvents (10%, v/v) such as n-alkanes, cyclohexane, xylene, styrene, and toluene. A hydrocarbon degradation experiment indicated that NK-1 had a greater n-alkane degrading ability compared to that of the other selected strains. C. resinae NK-1, which could utilize 8-16 carbon chain-length n-alkanes of medium chain-length as a carbon source, could not assimilate the shorter chain-length n-alkanes and aromatic hydrocarbons tested so far. The n-alkane degrading enzyme activity was found in the mycelial extract of the organism.

  • In this paper, the effects of oxygen component in blended fuel on the exhaust emissions have been investigated far direct injection diesel engine. It was tested to estimate change of engine performance and exhaust emission characteristics for th? commercial diesel fuel and oxygenated blended fuels which have three kinds of fuels and various mixed rates. And, it was tried to analyze not only total hydrocarbon but individual hydrocarbons(C$_1$∼ C$\_$6/) in exhaust gases using gas chromatography to seek the reason far remarkable reduction of smoke emission on various oxygenated fuels. This study carried out by comparing the chromatogram with diesel fuel and diesel fuel blended DGM(diethylene glycol dimethyl ether), MTBE(methyl tart-butyl ether) and EGBE(ethylene glycol mono-n-butyl ether). The results of this study show that individual hydrocarbons as well as total hydrocarbon of oxygenated fuel are reduced remarkably compared with commercial diesel fuel.

  • Moisture absorption rate of rice according to the soaking time was higher at $25^{\circ}C$ than 4$^{\circ}C$ and the op-timum soaking time was 1hr at $25^{\circ}C$. When the ratios of added water for rice cooking were 1.3 in an elec-tric cooker and pressure cooker and 1.7 in an Dookbaeki sensory an mechanically evaluation of cooked rice were highly evaluated. The total number of peak on gas chromatography profile were 89 in an press-ure cooker 56 in an electric cooker and 83 in an Dookbaeki and major volatile compounds of cooked rice were aliphatic hydrocarbons cyclic hydrocarbons aromatic hydrocarbons aldehydes alcohols ketones and thiourea. Furan that is in sweety was not detected in volatile components of cooked rice of electric cooker.

  • We evaluated natural attenuation of petroleum hydrocarbons in a shallow aquifer using a modeling study. The studied shallow aquifer was severely contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons, especially toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes (i.e, TEX). The exact spill history was not known. Therefor we used a contaminant level in May 1999 (the first sampling date of our integrated study) as an initial contaminant concentration. we calibrated required transport parameters using the contamination levels obtained from groundwater analyses in September of 1999. For fate and transport of the petroleum contaminants, five case 2 with sorption and degradation. case 3 with sorption and degradation (half decay constant compared with case 2), case 4 with degradation but no sorption, and case 5 with sorption but no degradation. For sorption and degradation, a linear sorption isotherm and first order irreversible decay was assumed, respectively and no additional contamination source to groundwater is also assumed.
