신재생에너지를 이용한 철도역사용 복합형 가로등 설계 (Design of Hybrid Type Streetlight for Railway Station with Renewable Energy)

  • Energy saving is as important as developments of green energy and alternative energy. This paper describes design of hybrid type streetlight for railway station with renewable energy as photovoltaic, wind, secondary battery. In designing hybrid type streetlight for railway station, generation energy with renewable energy and reliability is strongly needed to meet the demand of railway station. In order to achieve the high performance of a streetlight, photovoltaic, wind and secondary battery system, PV tracker, monitoring and GUI system with logging function are designed. To verify of performance of hybrid type streetlight for railway station, we have demonstration test to get of generation energy and flow of energy and the results are present in this paper.

  • This paper demonstrates that hybrid neural-genetic multimodel parameter estimation algorithm can be applied to structured system Identification of electro-hydraulic servo system. This algorithm are consist of a recurrent incremental credit assignment (ICRA) neural network and a genetic algorithm. The ICRA neural network evaluates each member of a generation of model and genetic algorithm produces new generation of model. We manufactured electro-hydraulic servo system and the hybrid neural-genetic multimodel parameter estimation algorithm is applied to the task to find the parameter values(mass, damping coefficient, bulk modulus, spring coefficient) which minimize total square error.

  • Output power in photovoltaic systems changes steeply with the change of the sun intensity. The change of output power has influence on the electric power quality of the system. This paper proposes a residential distributed generation system using photovoltaic power generation and polymer electrolyte fuel cells(hybrid systems). In order to level the output power which changes steeply the polymer electrolyte fuel cells are connected to the photovoltaic power generation system in parallel. Thus the generated power of all the system can be leveled. However, the steep generated power in the photovoltaic power generation system can not be leveled. Therefore, the electric double layer capacitor(EDLC) is connected in parallel with the hybrid systems. It is confirmed by the simulation that the proposed distributed generation system is available for a residential supply.

  • Research on the solar thermal hybrid power generation technology which uses solar thermal chemical reaction has been carried out in KIER, The research covers development of solar concentration system and solar reactor for methane steam reforming reaction. This paper introduces a brief review and prospects of oversea's researches in similar areas and KIER's research progresses up to now.

  • 본 논문에서는 복합발전시스템을 구성하는 각 단위 구성품의 교체비용이 변화할 때 각 단위 구성품의 용량 및 전체시스템의 경제성이 얼마나 변화하는지를 나타내는 민감도 분석을 수행하는 방법을 제시한다. 민감도 분석에는 복합발전시스템 경제 분석용 툴인 HOMER를 이용한다. 민감도 분석을 통해 교체비용 변화에 대해 민감도가 높은 구성품의 비중이 최소화 되게 설계하거나 예상되는 가격변동을 사전에 고려함으로써 복합발전시스템의 경제성을 최적화할 수 있으며, 민감도가 높은 구성품의 비중을 낮추기 위한 다른 조합의 복합 발전시스템 구성에 대한 정보도 제공할 수 있다. 민감도 분석의 예로서 주택용 부하 모델에 대해 HOMER에서 제공되는 일반적인 데이터를 사용하여 각 구성품 교체비용에 대한 용량 및 경제성 민감도를 정량적으로 분석하였다.

  • This study is to develop a 1kW-class small wind turbine blade which will be applicable to relatively low speed regions. For this blade, a high efficiency wind turbine blade is designed and a light and low cost composite structure blade is adopted considering fatigue life. In this study, shape design of 1kW-class small wind turbine blade for hybrid power generation system is carried out by BEMT(blade element momentum theory). X-FOIL open software was used to acquire lift and drag coefficients of the 2D airfoils used in power prediction procedure. Moreover, pressure and velocity distributions are investigated according to TSR by CFD analysis.

  • Recently, hybrid generation systems combine multiple energy sources or storage components to optimize the characteristics of the individual energy sources. In this paper, a battery integrated PV power optimizer for PV-battery hybrid power generation system is proposed. PV system using proposed topology can easily increase battery capacity and remove high power bidirectional converter to control bulky battery bank.

  • Marine facilities like buoy, lighthouse are operated with stand alone power supply system. This power system can consist of a stand-alone type power system such as PV(Photovoltaic) system, wave system or hybrid system which is not cooperated with a commercial power system. Generally, PV power system for marine facilities can not supply a sufficient power to buoy, because it is so influenced from weather condition. For solving this problem the hybrid power system with PV and wave is studied on a various area, that is why a hybrid power system is requires to overcome these problems. This paper will describe a generation characteristic of WEC(Wave Energy Converter) for buoy, and an AFS(Anti-Fouling System) influence on WEC.
