자도르노프 작품 속에 나라난 러시아 유머의 의미군조 (The semantic structure of the Russian humor in the works of Michael Zadornov)

  • In this article the structure of modern Russian humor is analyzed on the basis of some theories: bi-sociation theory (Koestler 1964), semantic script theory of verbal humor, using the concept of semantic presupposition, pragmatic felicity condition (Searle 1969; Levinson 1983) and grammatical rules (Chomsky 1965). Up to now the listed former theories were not examined and less analyzed by the semantic structure in the study of the structure of Russian humor(HcaeBa 1969; 3 $a_{OPHOB}$ 1991; 1992). Kreps (1981), who analyzed the works of Zoschenko, presented 21 types of humor, using the term 'humoreme'(Kpenc 1981, 36-37). These types are the list of the available means of humor that work not in the base of semantic criteria, but in the base of means of literary rhetoric. Kreps presented types of humor means, such as contradiction, antonymic substitution, macaronic speech and correlation of humoremes in the various types of humor. Apart from Kreps, Manakov (MaHaKOB 1986, 61-79) also studied these problems. He also set the system of the basic types of humor. Manakov introduced the linguistic means of humor of some Russian writers: Gogol, Tchechov. The means that Manakov showed with detailed examples, are trope, epithet, comic comparison, comic metaphor, comic periphrasis, euphemism, pun, zeugma, comic toponym, comic onomatopoeia, mania of foreign vocabulary, folk etymology, dialect etc. But these studies don't explain why these means make the works humorous. An, B.p tried to answer this question (안병팔 1997 a; b). An B.p. explains contexts of humor through the Release theory, the Superiority theory and the Incongruity theory. An, B.p. explained the process of deviation from the grammatical norms through morpho-syntactic and lexical means. But in these studies the humor was not analyzed by the semantic criteria. In order to linguistically evaluate various means of humor formation, it is necessary to elicit its deep structure, which makes it possible to research the formation and interpretation of humor. For this purpose this article, being based on the Incongruity theory, defined the structure of humor as negation of presupposition. Of course the former traditional studies also well shared the concept of 'contradiction' and 'contrast' of humor structure, but they didn't explain the structure by semantic differential features. This study, analyzing the works of' Zadornov, M., tried to note that through the negation of semantic presupposition the structure of contradiction is formed with semantic differential features on the semantic, syntactic or lexical dimensions.

유머중재 프로그램이 혈액투석환자의 불안, 우울과 유머대처에 미치는 효과 (Effects of Humor Intervention Program on Anxiety, Depression and Coping of Humor in Hemodialysis Patients)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of the humor intervention program, administred to the hemodialysis patient as an adaptive coping mechanism. The research design was non-equivalent control group non-synchronized design. The study method had been done by investigating the experimental group and control group through the questionnaire on 36 patients who had been out patient hemodialysis room at B hospital in Pusan from August 18 to September 15, 1998. The humor intervention program consisted of 1 TV comedy, 1 home video and 1 comedy film. The humor intervention program was provided to the experimental group for 20-30 minute 3 times every other day at hemodialysis room. Dependent variables were measured by Spielberger's State Anxiety Inventory, Zung's Self Rating Depression Scale, Lefcourt & s Humor Coping Scale. The analysis of the collected data had been done for the hemogeneity test in which general characteristics of the experimental group and the control group had been tested by $X^2$-test and the hemogeneity test had been tested by t-test before using the humor intervention program which is for anxiety, depression and coping of humor. To test the hypothesis the t-test had been given for the difference of anxiety, depression and coping of humor between the two groups. The result were summarized as follows : 1. Anxiety score in the experimental group and control group was not significant difference. 2. Depression score in the experimental group and control group was not significant difference. 3. Coping of humor score in the experimental group and control group was not significant difference. In conclusion, even though humor intervention program did not have any efficient effect on hemodialysis patients in reacting to anxiety, depression and coping humor, it caused very positive reactions from patients, and it also reducted anxiety of patients among the experimental group a little bit. If this program could be sufficiently applied ac cording to the character of every patients with a little bit different appliences such as selection of humor intervention program, frequency and period, it will be used as an efficient the humor intervention program.

모 윌렘스의 그림책에 나타난 유머 분석 (Analysis of Humor in the Picture Books of Mo Willems)

  • 유머는 유아의 삶에서 중요한 능력 중 하나이다. 유아의 인지발달과도 관련된 유머는 유아의 양육자와의 애착, 사회적 관계 형성, 긍정적인 자아개념에도 중요한 요인이기 때문이다. 최근 국내에 소개되고 있는 칼데콧 아너상 수상자인 모 윌렘스의 그림책에는 다양한 형태의 유머들이 등장한다. 본 연구에서는 베르그송의 희극성 유형을 기초로 모 윌렘스의 수상작 5권에 나타난 유머 요소들을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 모윌렘스 작품의 글과 그림에서 형태의 희극성, 움직임의 희극성, 상황의 희극성, 언어의 희극성, 성격의 희극성이 드러났다. 이러한 결과는 순응적 유머를 담은 모 윌렘스의 그림책이 유아, 부모, 교사의 유머 발달에도 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있다는 교육적 시사점을 제안하였다.

간호사의 유머감각, 자존감과 간호업무성과와의 관계 (Relationship among Sense of Humor, Self-esteem, and Performance in Nurses)

  • Purpose: The study was done to identify relations among sense of humor, self-esteem, and performance in nurses. Methods: Data were collected by questionnaires from 198 nurses in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. Measures were sense of humor, self-esteem, and performance. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients, t-test, ANOVA, and stepwise multiple regression with SPSS/WIN 13.0 version. Results: This study shows that performance of nurses has significant difference according to age, marriage, education level, income and clinical experience. The performance of nurses has positive correlation with their sense of humor and self-esteem. The higher clinical experience, sense of humor, and self-esteem they have, the better performance they make. The factors that affect performance of nurses are clinical experience, sense of humor and self-esteem. The degree of explanation is 36.5%. Conclusion: Knowing that sense of humor and self-esteem of nurse are significant factors which can cause nurses' better performance, we suggest an education program that can help nurses to develop and manage their sense of humor.

임상간호사의 유머, 직무만족, 직무스트레스 및 이직의도에 대한 구조모형 (Structural Equation Modeling for Humor, Job Satisfaction, Job Stress and Intention to Turnover)

  • Purpose: This study was done to identify the effects and relationships of humor, job satisfaction, job stress and intent to turnover for nurses and suggest a theoretical structural path diagram among the variables. Methods: Data were collected at 6 hospitals located in Seoul, and Gyeonggi Province, from June to September, 2010. Participants were 275 nurses. Data were analyzed using Amos 19.0 for Structural Equation Modeling. Results: Humor had significant effects on job satisfaction (${\beta}$=.15, t=2.29, p=.022) and indirect effects on the intent to turnover in this model ($X^2$=44.18, df=23, RMSEA=0.05, TLI=0.97). But humor did not affect job stress unlike results of previous studies (t=-.02, p=.771). Conclusion: Humor may not affect job stress under the very stressful conditions of the health care environment. The model showed the effect of humor contributed to increases in job satisfaction but did not decrease job stress. Higher levels of job satisfaction could decrease the intent to turnover. Consequently, humor would be helpful in increasing job satisfaction to diminish nurse turnover. Further studies are suggested to investigate causal relationships among humor, burnout, and other emotional and organizational variables.

임상치과위생사의 유머감각이 직무만족과 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of humor sense on job satisfaction and turnover intention in clinical dental hygienists)

  • Objectives: The purpose of the study was to investigate the influence of humor sense on job satisfaction and turnover intention in clinical dental hygienists. Methods: A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 277 dental hygienists in Chungnam from May to June, 2014. The instrument for humor sense was adapted from Thorson and Powell instrument by Lee and 20 questions. Each question included humor making and preference for humor and scored by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach's alpha in the study was 0.869. Job satisfaction was adapted from Smith Job Description Index and included task requirement, collaborate support, manager support, promotion, and wages and score by Likert 5 scale. Cronbach's alpha in the study was 0.827. Turnover intention was developed by Lee and 5 questions was score by Likert 5 scale. Crobach's alpha was 0.712 in the study. Results: The average of humor sense was 3.33, average of job satisfaction was 3.20, and average of turnover intention was 3.05. The sense of humor had a positive effect on turnover intention. Conclusions: This result will provide the high productivity and high quality of life in clinical dental hygienists. Humor sense is the important factor that support the job satisfaction and decrease the turnover intention.

보육교사의 직무스트레스와 행복감 간의 관계에 대한 유머감각의 중재효과 (The Moderating Effect of Childcare Teachers' Sense of Humor in the Relation Between Their Job Stress and Happiness)

  • Objective: The purpose of the present study was to examine the moderating role of childcare teachers' sense of humor in the relationship between their job stress and happiness Methods: Participants were 294 childcare teachers working at 83 childcare centers located in Busan and Gyeongnam. Teachers completed a rating scale in order to examine their demographic variables, job stress, sense of humor, and happiness. The collected data were analyzed using product-moment correlation and hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Childcare teachers' job stress was negatively correlated with their happiness. And childcare teachers' sense of humor had a positive relationship with their happiness. Hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the interaction of childcare teachers' job stress and sense of humor predicted their happiness. Childcare teachers' job stress was significantly associated with their happiness among those who demonstrated the lowest level of sense of humor. Childcare teachers' job stress had no relationship with their happiness, especially for those with the highest level of sense of humor Conclusion/Implications: We suggested that having a sense of humor might be valuable for childcare teachers in order to buffer the link between their job stress and happiness.

애니메이션에서의 유머 유형구분에 관한 연구 -드림웍스의 <슈렉(Shrek)>을 중심으로- (Categorization of Humor types in Animations)

  • 문화콘텐츠 산업은 고부가가치 산업으로서 전 세계를 대상으로 하는 큰 시장을 갖고 있다. 또한 첨단 기술 산업과 함께, 한 국가의 산업 경쟁력을 선도하는 중요한 산업으로 인정받고 있는데, 특히 애니메이션은 문화콘텐츠 산업에서 가장 핵심적인 위치를 차지하고 있다. 이러한 애니메이션의 중요성에 비해 국내의 애니메이션산업은 활성화되지 못하고 있는 것이 현재의 실정이다. 이것의 가장 중요한 원인 중의 하나가 바로 재미의 부족으로 판단된다. 문화콘텐츠는 대중적인 인기를 획득하여 그 콘텐츠가 소비되어야만 수익을 발생시킬 수 있으며, 일정 수준 이상의 경제적 파급 효과가 있어야 의미있는 산업이라고 이야기 할 수 있을 것이다. 이를 위해서는 문화콘텐츠에 반드시 대중적 관심을 불러 일으킬만한 '재미'의 요소가 있어야하는데, 이 '재미' 요소의 핵심이 유머 효과에 있다. 이에 본고에서는 유머일반의 유형구분을 위해 내용별 유형구분으로 (1) 해학, (2) 기지, (3) 기지, (4) 아이러니로 구분하였다. 유머의 생산 방법으로 (1) 펀 (2) 패러디, (3) 패러독스로 나누었고 디자인 요소에 따른 유머 발생유형으로서 (1) 시각적 요소, (2) 상관적 요소, (3) 실제적 요소로 구분하였다. 그리고 수용자의 반응의 구분을 위하여 심리학적 연구 결과를 크게 (1) 부조화 이론, (2) 우월성 이론, (3) 완화 이론으로 나누었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 근거로 하여 유머 유형 분석표(Humor Types Analysis Checklist)를 제시하였다. 그리고 유머 유형 분석표를 기준으로 PDI사의 <슈렉(Shrek)> 에서 유머효과가 두드러진 장면을 선별하여 유머효과를 분석하였다. 이러한 영상이나 애니메이션에서의 유머 유형 분류법은 수용자들이 어떤 유형의 유머를 선호하는지 조사 분석할 수 있는 기본적인 틀이 될 수 있으며, 이것은 영상 및 애니메이션 제작시 제작자들이 참고할 수 있는 유용한 수단이 될 수 있다.

임상치과위생사의 유머감각과 임파워먼트와의 관계 (The relationship between humor and empowerment in clinical dental hygienist)

  • Objectives : The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship between humor and empowerment in clinical dental hygienist. Methods : Subjects were 374 clinical dental hygienist in Jeollabuk-do from April 20 to June 4, 2013. Data were analyzed using the statistical package SPSS WIN 12.0 for frequency, mean and standard deviation analysis, one-way ANOVA and linear regression. Results : The mean score or the clinical dental hygienist of humor was 2.55 out of 4 each of the sub-dimensions including emotional expressiveness, message sensitivity and preference of humor. Empowerment was 3.50 out of 5 and each of the sub-dimensions including meaning, competence, self-determination and impact. There was a significantly positive correlation between the sense of humor and the empowerment. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop the empowerment combined with humor sense in the curricula of dental hygiene education and leadership management in the clinical dental hygienist.
