In this article, I studied how we can heal resentment (㝨) and regret (恨) in the present and future world that are deeply rooted in our society, and I sought out the theoretical and practical measures to realize peace and mental well-being of the Korean people. For this purpose, firstly, I reinterpreted the content of 'Hongik Ingan Humanitarianism (弘益人間)' as an idea and its practical methods into a critical perspective, and confirmed that it is the ideological and emotional root of the Korean people. And I looked at concrete action plans for the present and in the future. Next, I studied the contents of the 'Accompaniment Society (大同社會)' for studying abroad and how to realize its ideals. Through this process, it was confirmed that Accompaniment Society is also deeply rooted in the sentiments of the Korean people. I also found out that more active and practical theoretical methodological studies are necessary to heal the resentment and regret common in our society. Lastly, I studied the fundamental and essential meaning of 'The Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence (解冤相生),' the major, representative concept of 'The Truth of the Great Itineration (大巡眞理).' Through this process, I confirmed the possibility that the Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence could be transformed into a universal value and could be sublimated to a practical norm in the future. In particular, I found that the logic of "the Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence" is highly practical in resolving feelings of resentment in the Korean people. Through the above study, 'The Resolution of Grievances for Mutual Beneficence' of 'The Truth of the Great Itineration' can emerge as a 'win-win' system of ethics in the future through the synthetical comprehension of the ideals of 'Hongik Ingan Humanitarianism' and Accompaniment Society.

Modern and contemporary humanities and social sciences supported the freedom and abundance of people. Today, however, freedom and abundance do not support human dignity, and are not sustainable. Therefore, we must reflect again on the direction of today's life and civilization. As part of this project, this essay analyzes the modern and contemporary humanities and social sciences and examines the meaning of Korean traditional thoughts. The lines presented to us by Korean traditional thought can be summed up 'the Three Elements of the Universe(Heaven, Earth and Man)' and 'Perfect Harmony between the Soul and the Body' and 'true humanitarianism.' These lines can be a starting point to overcome the problems posed by the lines of freedom and abundance in two contexts : First, while the lines of freedom and abundance today were biased toward the elements of the Earth or the Body, the traditional Korean thoughts have been both elements of the Heaven and the Soul since the beginning, which can therefore serve as a true humanitarian. Second, the true humanitarian line is as much sustainable as it criticizes the uncontrolled freedom and abundance, and seeks the right moderation to become a man of dignity.

This thesis examined interpreting methodology of Do Won Lew Seung Kug(1923~2011) is based on the principle of Juhng-yaug. His lifelong academic aim was searching for the theory that enables global community to co-exist peacefully through humanitarianism that leads to reconciliation and mutual benefits. The research of the history of Korean thoughts provided him with the clue for his theory. According to Do Won, Korean thoughts pursue the Juhng-yaug's value of 'Yin and Yang accordance' rather than the I-Ching's value of 'suppress Yin and elevate Yang'. He furthermore asserts the concept of the middle (中), which harmonizes the two extremes by human beings as main agents, has been consistently observed from the action of divination during the ancient period through Juhng-yaug in the late 19th century. Do Won identifies 'human maturity that integrates the extremely conflicting insistences and values and seeks to be reconciled' as the basic character of Korean thoughts. He explains 'Hongikingan[弘益人間, becoming beneficial to the human world] is the idea that embraces the conflicting values symbolized by heaven and the earth. He also illuminates that Choe Chi Won(崔致遠)'s created Poongliu Do by integrating heterogeneity among Confucianism, Buddhim, and Daoism and it was attainable through the various works of mature human beings. Both Toe Gye' s philosophy of Ingeuk(人極, the Great Ultimate of Person) and the concept of Innaecheon(人乃天, Human Being right is Heaven) of Donghak are excellent examples of Humanitarianism that sublate two extremes. In Korea, the prototype of this thought has penetrated its entire history in the various circumstances of the period. The grand finale is Juhng-yaug of which the pursued values are 'Yin and Yang accordance' and mature humanitarianism revealed by the thoughts of the Person of the Central Ultimate (皇極人,至人) and Central Ultimate (皇極). Therefore, Humanitarianism in Korean thoughts clearly makes its appearance by the time of Juhng-yaug and it functions as a keyword to illuminate the entire history of Korean thoughts in reverse.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the residents' opinions about community mental health in the Taegu-Kyungpuk area for the future development of a community mental health program and model appropriate for Korea, The subjects were 152 residents in the Taegu - Kyungpuk area. In July 1999, the data was collected using a convenience sample technique. Mental health status was significantly different for the level of occupational advantage(x$^2$＝15.684, p＜.05) and physical health(x$^2$＝39.262, p＜.000). Factor structure for mental health problems with the percentage of variance was as follows. optimistic view(27.518), dark view(10.758), mastery(6.200), discomfiture(6.101) and life style(5.641). Most of the respondents(92.1%) took the mental health problems seriously. The serious aspects of the mental health problem were found to be epilepsy, mental retardation, neurosis and schizophrenia respectively. Concerning about the view of community mental health, most of the respondents answered that the a C.M.H.C. was ‘useful and urgent’ concerning the need for C.M.H,(77.6%). They answered positively on the utilization of C.M.H.C(75.7% ) and preferred the separately new community mental heath center. A psychiatrist was preferred as the key person in charge(44.1%). If community mental health centers were established in a community health center, they answered that the expected major problem would be quality control of care(44.7%). They preferred the psychiatrist's office as the recommended agency for the insane(44.7%). Opinions of the asylum system were found very negative in respect to psychiatric therapy and humanitarianism. The results of this study will help establish a relevant model for this community as the primary site for a community-based mental health model.

Paying attention to the notable social problem occured by the confusion of values in the modern industrialized society changed rapidly, this study aimed to examine the values of nurses which lie at the heart of the diverse universe of their behavior considering their activities and professionalism influencing the applicants directly. The applicants for this study were 173 nurses selected randomly from both hospitals of rKJ located in Inchon and ry J located in Seoul. $\ulcorner$K$lrcorner$ The findings from this study were as follows; 1) Values of nurses In the Spranger's six personality category of values, the religious value was found to be the most important for the nurses, and followed by social value. These facts are thought to be disirable and hopeful very much reflecting the philosophical basis of nursing, that is, humanitarianism. But the theoretical value marked the lowest point that probably mean the lack of nurse's theoretical conditions which should be essential for the nursing professionalism. Thus it is suggested that the measures for encouraging the nurses or nursing students to have more interest in the educational training courses and schooling. 2) Analysis of relationship between the nurse's general characteristics and their values CD There were no differences statistically in values relating to the professional career and occupation. The nurses without religion placed, naturally, the lower religious value (t= 4.28. p=.000) than the nurses with religion. but placed higher aesthetic value(t=-2.82. p=.006) showing significant statistical differences. (3) Nurses from the 3-year program got the higher aesthetic value(t=3.07, p=.003) than those from the diploma program. but got the lower religious value (t = -2.05. p =.041) showing significant statistical differences. (4) The singles placed the higher aesthetic value (t= 2.21. p =.028) than those married in significant statistically.

There are so many study on Heumheum Sinseo as a lawbook. But the study on Heumheum Sinseo as investigation and forensic manual is uncommon. So this study was performed to find the value of Heumheum Sinseo as investigation and forensic manual. In Heumheum Sinseo, we could find the basic ideology of a sense of justice on humanitarianism and rationalism, and democratic thoughts on criminal law such as the presumption of innocence, speedy investigation clause and Limiting the admissibility of the confession. And so many scientific method on crime investigation are described in Heumheum Sinseo. We expect that this study serve as moment for us to be able to find it have 'practical' value to us.

ODA (Official Development Assistance) aims for practicing international humanitarianism in developing countries. However, ODA donors also seek to find convincing evidence meeting the national economic & political interests in the international community. In this regards, precise & unbiased estimation of the policy effects of ODA aid on the donors' exports to the recipient countries has recently become one of the primary concerns of the ODA donors, especially developing countries including Korea of which economy structure heavily relies on exports for economic growth. Based on the basic gravity model, this study empirically analyzes the effects of technical cooperation ODA delivering skills, knowledge and technical know-how on Korea's exports to the ODA recipient countries using 10-year panel data from 2007 to 2016. Specifically, by incorporating major variables affecting trade such as GDP, distance, FDI etc, the effect of technical cooperation ODA on Korea's exports to the ODA recipient countries is estimated with various kinds of panel models. As a result, technical cooperation ODA has a statistically significant impact on Korea's exports to ODA recipient countries, especially in the exports of intermediate goods. And the detail process of this black-boxed mechanism is scrutinized through case studies on Uzbekistan, The Philippines, and Morocco.

The war that broke out on October 7, 2023 is prolonging and expanding into the Middle East. Although the damage from war is increasing, humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip has been halted due to UNRWA's deviant actions. Powerful countries have suspended support, and the UN is appealing for support for the Gaza Strip. All damage is borne by civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially women, children, and the elderly. Israel has selected an evacuation zone and evacuation route in the Gaza Strip and established a humanitarian aid route in the border area. However, Hamas's resistance in underground tunnels, using civilian-dense areas and civilian facilities such as hospitals and schools as shields, further amplified civilian casualties. This Israel-Hamas war requires the international community to approach it from a human security perspective. We must strengthen the UN's functions and roles to ensure that humanitarian supplies reach the field and humanitarian intervention forces ensure human dignity and basic rights. We must restore the credibility of the UN's role through the Israel-Hamas war. In addition, Korea should urge the introduction of humanitarian aid and goods, and provide humanitarian goods such as daily necessities and medicine. We must also prepare for deployment as a member of the UN peacekeeping force in the future. These activities will help Korea develop into a model country that fulfills its role as a 'global pivotal nation' and will have a virtuous cycle of international support in the event of a future crisis on the Korean Peninsula.

This paper aims to define the leadership of Gunja (君子, translated into prince, gentleman, or ideal man) based on Confucian Classics which offer the general values and norms of individuals' virtue and social virtuous acts. Thus, humanitarianism is regarded as true value, and the values of a virtuous person who properly practices social human relationships are discussed. The real worth of Gunja image is discussed as a true human image of "self-completion and completion of all things" (成己成物) which involves the convergence of truth, good and beauty where there is a sense of harmony and balance, where there is stern self discipline and self cultivation and where win-win values of human relationships are created. Confucian saint (聖人), wise man (賢人), great man (大人), and gentleman (君子) mean social leaders. They practice human morals, enlighten and beautify society with teachings, and are indicated as equipped with mental and material harmony, good character and competence, and economic power and morality. People today pursue their own personal growth according to their material preferences rather than pure intellectual cultural values, and are engrossed in visually beautiful external unlimited competition. In this digital age, we are supposed to demonstrate our individuality, but many people are obsessed with appearance, go on severe diet, and lose their health beauty, and consequently suffer mental stress. This trend fuels obsession with appearance and the sick practice of valuing appearance. As an alternative method to overcome this phenomenon, we need a leader image with the convergence of truth, good and beauty, which is characterized by internal self cultivation, external professionalism, and handsome and solid character. Confucian thoughts consist in practicing the Way of disciplining oneself for governing others (修己治人). Self discipline involves developing personal virtuous ability for cultivating a virtuous character, and governing others involves interacting to work together in society and to have right human relationships. Thus, leaders should impress not only themselves but also others. Self discipline for governing others means cultivating virtue for oneself and leading others. A true leader has self introspection and establishes himself through self discipline so that he can govern others or reach the realm of settling others where people live together. As all things have a value and a virtue, humans endeavor to cultivate character and virtue by learning and studying for securing their professionalism, reliability, character and ability, so as to create their own brand value. Personal character does not come from a high position, wealth and power. Character is a personal virtue, and is cultivated as immaculate and fresh through self discipline. As such, it well matches with a clean and clear spirit. This offers the ideal leader as the Guja image who has an extremely humane character, as well as being equipped with inherent virtues of intellect, benevolence and courage. Self development can foster virtue and self management through self leadership and self discipline. The leader in the relationship area can practice his virtue through virtuous acts, in other words, even think from another person's perspective. Such leader is mentioned as the principle of measuring square in the Great Learning. In our viewpoint, the beauty of character can breed the seed of virtue through intellect, benevolence and courage, the beauty of win-win can realize the right virtue by showing exemplary acts to others through considerateness, and the beauty of harmony can love and care for others like me through the principle of measuring square, thereby realizing the universal principle of virtue and harmony, which is like my mind. As such, the ideal leader, when his virtue and mind of being considerate of others all blending well, can exercise his ability to the full, can live together and coexist with many people, and can grow again into a triumphant relationship.
