I introduce the field of gravitational microlensing that I have worked on for more than 2 decades. I describe how microlensing can be applied to various fields in astrophysics including dark matter, Galactic structure, binary objects, and extrasolar planets and present my scientific achievements in the individual fields. I start with a description of basic microlensing physics and state how microlensing can be applied to various fields. Finally, I briefly describe ongoing efforts and future projects in microlensing.

Rationality of strength models for structural concrete depends on how to treat loads on boundaries and load paths within members. Differentiation between strut-and-tie models and stress fields approaches for shear strength models is discussed in this paper for salient use of current design formula in design code provisions. How to model configuration of loads and stress states along the boundary for the regions under provides a key to realistic construction of stress fields together with STM.

The high TcY1Ba2Cu3Ox superconductor has recently gained widespread interest in the scientific community. The principal problems at the present time are how to densify this material and how to raise the critical current density. To date the majority of samples have had densities of 90%(of theoretical) or less. In this study we report that we obtained density of 96% by Hot-Pressing method.

A new method for the modeling of non-ideal dc-dc converters whose switching times are finite is proposed. The effects of finite turn-on, turn-off times, delay time, storage time, reverse recovery process on the system stability, dc transfer function and efficiency are investigated. It is verified how system poles are changed and how dc transfer function and efficiency are decreased by non-ideal switching.

This paper deals with the ways how the AUV can detect and treat possible emergency situations during the mission. The emergency situations can be divided into two parts according to the zones where the situations take place-inner zone, and outer zone. This paper explains how each element of emergency situation is detected and treated, and as a result, introduce the algorithm of this procedure for the autonomous cruising.

The purpose of this study is to found out that how well yield management, the element of Marketing mix possible to control, is composed and is conducted in strategic level in Italian Restaurant of domestic Hotel and that how much menu which is the element of Yield management contributes to growth of sales. As a result of this research, it is found out that all of three hotels have a different characteristic promotion hold by 10% in F/B. By that reason, out saucing is need to hotel management, but Restaurant should be activated continuously.

This paper provides a framework for evaluating business information systems. The framework identifies three evaluation domains: IS business value, IS expenses, and IS functionality. Discussions of each category encompass what to be measured, how to measure, and how to judge the measured value. Then, the framework classifies three categories of individual information systems based on IS life cycle: industry-common, industry-similar, and firm-specific. This categorization is used to match the role of an individual system with the focus of evaluation efforts. The framework can contribute to the systematic design of evaluation programs for business information systems.
