The purpose of this study was (1) to assess the level of financial management and financial goal attainment on housing purchase and children's educational expenditure, (2) to identify individual, family and environment variables which influence financial goal attainment, and (3) to investigate causal relation of variables which affect financial goal attainment. Data were collected from questionnaire with 772 married women who were residents of Jeonju. The major finding were as follows; (1) The levels of financial management and financial goal attainment on housing purchase and children's educational expenditure were middle. (2) The variables which exerted direct effects on financial goal attainment on housing purchase were time orientation of consumption life, asset, income stability, easiness in extending credit, financial planning, and financial implementing. the most powerful predictor of financial goal attainment on housing purchase was asset. (30 The variables which exerted direct effects on financial goal attainment on children's educational expenditure were time orientation of consumption life, asset, children's presence on the camp8us, easiness I extending credit, financial planning, and financial implementing. The most powerful predictor of financial goal attainment on children's educational expenditure was financial planning.

In the die casting process, the flow of liquid metal has significant influence on the quality of casting products and die life. For the optimal process design of front housing part of aircon compressor, various analyses were performed in this study by using computer simulation code, MAGMAsoft. The simulation has been focused on the molten metal behaviors during the filling and solidification stages for the sound casting products. Two cases of casting design that have different types of gating system are considered in the analysis. The potential sites where the casting defects may occur is examined by computer simulation and an improved design process is proposed. Also the effect of partial squeeze on the quality of casting products is considered and the optimal time lag after filling process is determined. For the die-stability, the effect of operational parameters such as die temperature, heat cycle and spot cooling on the die life has also been analyzed.

The structural stability of pressure housing of SMART CEDM forming pressure boundary must be evaluated. In this paper, the stress and thermal analyses of the upper pressure housing of CEDM are performed for design pressure, hydraulic test pressure and thermal loading. Finite element and boundary condition were generated from the model which is made by I-DEAS program and the stress and thermal analyses were performed by ANSYS Program. The upper Pressure housing was analysed using 2D axisymmetric model because it is symmetry about an axis. The stress values obtained by analysis were compared with the stress intensity limit of ASME and KEPIC MNB standard.

Gardens are known to provide relaxation, including psychological stability and mental rest. Recently, social interest in gardens has been growing in various ways, including the increase of groups sensitive to environmental pollution and a rising interest in the overall management of natural resources. In reality, however, the owners of housing gardens lack fundamental knowledge for creating and maintaining the gardens, directly and indirectly. This limitation presents a number of problems and challenges. Therefore, this study conducted an analysis of various aspects relating to the creation and maintenance of housing gardens, reflecting the sense of ownership. The study aimed to examine the current status, and based on this, it was intended to present improvement measures for practical and efficient creation of housing gardens and their maintenance in the future.

The amount of multi-aged housing more than 15 years since the completion has increased, and the real estate market caused by apartment remodeling has also increased. The domestic mortgage loan regulation on relocation expense caused by remodeling apply to same limit as that for mortgage loan newly-built apartment. The excessive government housing regulation could be an obstacle for the occupants residential stability of remodeling apartment. To suggest methods for government housing regulation of residential mortgage loan related to remodeling, examples for mortgage loan regulation and mortgage products were studied and compared. It is pointed out that regulation on occupants relocation expense caused by remodeling has to be relaxed and mortgage product development are needed to boost remodeling project.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the residential environment by indicators of internal and external conditions of Purchased Rental Housings (PRH). In this study, we conducted a field survey on 200 units of PRH to evaluate the residental environment located in Seoul, Incehon, Kyounggi, Daejeon, Busan and Daegu. As a result, the residential environment of PRH is managed as above average at most indicators. Partly parking areas and fire-fighting facilities are need to be improved for safety and health. It is considered that the political goal of PRH, such as housing safety and stability for low-income class, is achieved by decent housings and appropriate maintenance. However, it is still necessary to improve its management system for sustainable and safe residential environments.

Increasing construction costs are required due to increasing the supply of small type houses with changes in multi-family housing trends. However, a sharp rise in the construction cost of small type houses can raise the sale price, threatening the stability of national housing. Therefore, this study aims to estimate the change in the construction cost of small type houses from the basic construction cost of the sale price ceiling system and suggest an improvement plan.

This study is a preliminary study to develop design guidelines on shared spaces of apartment for healthy housing. It was tried to set the basic direction of the guideline development by comparing and analyzing related literatures based on the previously identified evaluation indicators of healthy housing of apartment. The major findings were as followings: 1) based on the research conducted before, the characters of shared spaces for healthy housing were classified as physical, mental and social dimensions. 2) According to the comparison and analysis of relevant standards and guidelines, focuses were mostly on the physical dimension, particularly on the human traffic lines of the convenience attributes. Other focuses were on the attractiveness of the apartment complex of the vitality attribute under the mental dimension, and community facilities of the residential stability attributes under the social dimension. Therefore, it was identified that it is required to take complementary measure regarding mental and social dimensions, and design concrete steps to include different attributes of each dimension, in order to develop comprehensive guidelines for shared space.

Between 1890-1914, the fundamental changes of the housing in United Sates of America were provoked to attempt the housing developments to adapt modern social system. The worthy of notice is that F L. Wright's Prairie House had been tested and built during the period as 'the first and second era' Despite the transition period in America, this represents that Wright's Prairie House series were developed. There are possibilities that some of the reformers assertion for Housing Development, on behalf of Arts & Crafts Movement, led to Wright's early house inner space design. For this reason, this study is to examine Ideologies that Wright has been accepted between the turning point of America's Arts & Crafts Movement and Hull House Circle. In terms of the ideologies acceptance, the study is also to examine how to be represented his inner space design characteristics. As the result, between'Simplification'housing development and the traditional housing In America, F L. Wright sublimated his own architectural aesthetic as accepting all functional elements to consider inevitability in this period, such as the association between economical and rational space, the plan to led on free plane, the spatial side and the stability of family life and the community, through the unification space having the consecutiveness.

In the modem society of Japan, specially before and after the World War II, one of the most important problem is socially to build housing of working classes. In those days, Ken Ichiura had been led the dwelling of modem Japanese architecture. He had worked in wide spheres of action like private residence, public housing, collective housing area and urban planning for about fifty years. But until now, because studies on public housing of Japan has been discussed only aspect of architectural design, there was almost no study about Ken Ichiura who acted in practical affairs. So this study aims to consider about the Ken Ichiura's research on dwelling and the relation with the then social circumstance. It was summarized as four details of Ken Ichiura's activities on Dwellings before the end of World War II. First, he proposed half-government-supervised system by economic reason on provision of dwellings. Second, he proposed dry construction system by material and structural reason on economic and stability supply. Third, he proposed standardization and industrialization by economic reason on industrialization form material to construction of industry. And the last, he also proposed standard plan and standard design by economical and mass production supply dwellings during the war.
