교과교실형 운영 중등학교 홈베이스 이용의식 분석 (An Analysis about Awareness of Use in Homebase on Variation Type in Middle and High Schools)

  • This study was carried out to observe awareness of students using homebase on variation type, about a thousand students in four middle and high schools participated in questionnaire. By the analysis of questionnaire, degree of awareness regarded homebase as a base was relatively high in respondents of the schools having easy accessibility of the homebase, and thus, proportions of assigned space for homeroom, using frequency of homebase and time to stay were also high in the group showing high awareness about homebase. Especially, it is noticeable use of homebase was frequent in the schools having subdivided space in itself. This result suggested that the function of homebase as a base of the students can be very important factor to plan schools of variation type.

교과교실형 운영 중등학교 홈베이스 운영실태 및 이용행태 분석 (An Analysis about Actual Condition and Behavior of Use in Homebase on Variation Type in Middle and High Schools)

  • This study is carried out to understand spacial characteristics, actual condition and behavior of use about homebase managed in variation type. Observation about moving line of students and questionnaire were tried to satisfy this purpose. As a result, classroom used as variation type for long time stay and homebase outside the classroom for short time stay were paralled managed in most schools. Density of school furniture in homebase of observed schools was about 36-37%, occupying area of each student was about $0.3-0.6m^2$. It was relatively low with the results of 45-54% and $0.94-1.15m^2$ observed in Japan schools, respectively. By the analysis about behavior of use through cross section of observation, the difference of staying time and personnel exchange between the students was higher at the school having homebase composed with various corners more than the school used it only as a locker room.

거점공간의 물리적 여건에 따른 휴식시간 학생거동 특성 분석 - 교과교실형 중학교 교실공간을 중심으로 - (An Analysis about Characteristics of Students' Movement within a Recess by Physical Conditions of Homebase - Concentrated on the Classroom in Middle School on Variation Type -)

  • This study was tried to find out characteristics of students' movement in classroom and homeroom. The object was the school whose homebase management was different by grade. Observation research was tried about middle school class that is simultaneously worked with different type of homeroom and the movement of students under various situations was analyzed. As a result, students in exclusive subject classroom moved in short time within one or two minutes after class. In case of exclusive homeroom, returning frequency of students was nearly about 85 to 100 percent within ten minutes in end of end. Behavioral characteristics of students in dual purpose homeroom was similar in exclusive subject classroom. The class using dual purpose homeroom showed high ratio in use of center homebase, therefore, returning frequency at short recess time was extremely low. In case of dual purpose homeroom at lunch time, next class students moved in early time and maximized within one or two minutes in end of end. These results are thought to be useful for planning spaces of variation type.

거점공간 운영방식 차이에 따른 교과교실형 중학교 공간 이용의식 분석 (An Analysis about Awareness of Use in Space on Variation Type in Middle School According to the Type of Management for Homebase)

  • In this study, moving awareness of students having different physical conditions in homebase and attitudes of students to spacial use in user's aspect were analyzed. As shown in the results, the dissatisfaction degree of the second grade using homebase type was higher than the first and the third grades using exclusive space for a class, homeroom type. The necessity of exclusive space for a class was highly shown in the second grade students. Students of the first and the third grades showed similar pattern in using frequency of homeroom. The results showed that behavior pattern of students was different with their physical conditions. Especially, factors showing obvious differences between the two groups were possession awareness of their belongings, tendency to route choice of high frequency, stay awareness of main stay in time to rest and point of time using restroom. These results will be useful to design various models in variation type of schools.

  • This study compared and analyzed middle and high school's homebase and media space which are installed along with the introduction of subject classroom system operation method, with regard to the position of arrangement, the type of arrangement, and the change of area, etc. which were changed and applied per the phase of project. For this, design competitions were implemented since 2006 targeting the cases which participated in design directly-indirectly in the researcher's architectural firm, present construction documents among the selected BTL(Build-Transfer-Lease) were completed, and the examples of 10 schools(design competitions 2 schools, BTL selected plans 8 schools) were analyzed, which were operating variation type.

저점도 액 통기 교반용 글라스라이닝 홈베이스 임펠러의 최적 형상 (Optimum Geometry of Glass Lined HOMEBASE Impeller for Gas-Liquid System of Low Viscosity Liquid)

  • 글라스 라이닝 임펠러는 강산을 포함한 대부분의 화학물질들에 대해 내부식성이 있고, 또한 평활하고 눌어붙지 않는 표면을 가지며 세정이 용이하고 프로세스에 불순물들을 유입하지 않는 강점을 갖고 있다. 글라스 라이닝 HOMEBASE 임펠러는 저점도 유체에서 고점도 유체까지 폭넓은 점도 범위의 액체를 교반할 수 있도록 개발된 다목적형 대형 교반 임펠러이나, 그중에서도 세포 배양이나 효모의 배양, 맥주 발효 솥 등은 저점도 액의 통기 교반에 많이 사용하며, 특히 공기-수계의 통기성 교반에 많이 적용한다. 구조가 간단하면서도 성능 면에서 경쟁력을 갖는 HOMEBASE 임펠러에 대한 글라스 라이닝은 제작상 임펠러와 샤프트의 접합 면적을 가능한 한 작게 할 수 있도록 상하 분할이 필수적이다. 임펠러의 상하 분할은 혼합 성능에는 거의 영향을 미치지 않지만, 통기 성능을 저하하였다. 본 연구에서는 Glass Lined HOMEBASE 임펠러 형상의 최적화를 위해, 상·하부로 분할된 임펠러 사이의 장착각도차와 임펠러 사이의 간격 및 방해판의 개수가 통기 동력에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 상·하부로 분할된 임펠러 사이의 장착각도차와 간격이 통기를 할 때의 동력 Pg와 통기가 없을 때의 동력 P0의 비인 Pg/P0를 저하시킨다는 연구 결과를 통해 Glass Lined HOMEBASE 임펠러 최적 형상과 방해판 조건을 도출하였다.

교과교실제 운영학교의 홈베이스 공간유형에 관한 연구 (A study on the Space type of Homebase in Schools that Operate Departmentalized Classrooms)

  • Since the introduction of the Departmentalized Classroom System in 2009, schools that operate the system experienced many changes in terms of school management, educational courses, and school environment. In particular, class-based classrooms changed into departmentalized classrooms and staff rooms became teachers' support centers and research rooms to create an environment that is apt for the management of departmentalized classrooms. Students have also come to move from departmentalized classrooms to departmentalized classrooms in which homebases were prepared as a space for students to rest and enjoy a stable school life. As such, homebases as a space for students to enjoy school life are indispensable and are becoming more important for the management of the Departmentalized Classroom System. Thus, it is necessary to investigate in detail the state of the establishment of homebases in schools that operate the system. In line with this, this paper sampled 59 schools that have managed the system as an advanced system for over 2 years and conducted school visits and held interviews to investigate and analyze the placement, function, and scale of homebases as well as to provide basic material on homebases.

학교 학습환경 변화에 따른 학생적응에 관한 연구 - 신축 교과교실제 중학교로의 이전경험을 중심으로 - (A Study on Students' Adaptation to Changes in Their Learning Environments at School - Focused on Students' Experience of Transition to the New Variation Type Middle School -)

  • Since the introduction of the new Variation Type school, few studies have focused on students' adaptation to the changes in their learning environments at school. This paper is based on the Stage-Environment Fit theory, which asserts that a successful school life(in terms of motivation to learn) is ensured only when the school environment meets the social and emotional needs of students. Focusing on the third-grade student's adaptation to a new Variation Type school during their middle school period, the following conclusions were drawn. First, the transition to a new Variation Type school during middle school is much more difficult than adjusting to a new Variatio Type school upon admission to middle school. Second, this difficulty in adaptation is caused by socio-emotional dissatisfaction in adolescent students, for whom deconstruction of previous friendships can hinder motivation to learn. Third, third-grade students who experienced stress due to spatial changes tended to have a negative attitude towards the new Variation Type itself as they feel more tired from failing to use the space properly. Fourth, to transition successfully to a new Variation Type school, socio-emotional problems must be solved through the reduction of scale of the homebase, and the provision of various choices increasing the number of homebase.

숀 옹의 『미국인의 무릎』 : 남성 중심주의 해체와 그 가능성 (Shawn Wong's American Knees: Deconstruction of Male-Centeredness and Its Possibility)

  • Considered as the first generation of the Chinese American male writers, Shawn Wong has often been tagged with the male-centered or cultural nationalistic writer for his first short novel Homebase since the 1970s. He has, however, shifted his own gender and cultural attitudes toward his male character in his second novel American Knees, published in 1995. By focusing on his second novel, this paper examines how Wong critically reconsiders the male-centeredness and cultural nationalism in a way to invalidate them in relationships among male and female characters in the formation of the Chinese American male's identity. Attempting to establish his own national and cultural identity as an American citizenship and the self-awareness of masculinity as a man, Rainsford Chan in Homebase believed that he could achieve his identity and masculinity with the chronological experiences related to his ancestors in American society. He even strictly erased the presence of female in his own identity formation. In doing so, he seemed to anchor his authorship at the discourse of the male-centeredness and cultural nationalist like other contemporary writers such as Frank Chin and Jeffrey Paul Chan who always strongly marked cultural tradition. By creating a non-conventional male character Raymond Ding with compromising and open-eared attitudes toward female characters, however, Wong dramatically changes the idea of representing the relationships between male and female characters in American Knees. In this novel, he suggests that the male character' identity can be properly formed not in the extreme reinforcement of masculinity or the ethnic-based cultural awareness but with the mutual understanding between male and female individuals regardless of ethnic and nationalistic biases. Consequently, Wong attempts to bail out of the male-centered images of the first generation of the Chinese American male writers through Raymond Ding.

농촌지역 고등학교의 교과교실제 적용에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of Departmentalized Classroom System in High School in the Rural Area)

  • The purpose of this study is to clarify the actual condition of the plan of high schools in the rural area. Recently, many high schools are remodeling the buildings and facilities based on the departmentalized classroom system. This study, through analyzing on 2 remodeling cases of small high schools in the rural area of gyeongnam. This article discuses about the basic characteristics of the plan composition and the education programs of 2 small high schools. This study is showing the variation before and after remodeling and space organization types. The results of this study are summarized as follows; 1) Most of them take horizontal zoning system in the department classrooms. 2) Number and area of teachers' laboratory ware increased in most of floors. 3) Sample schools took much more spaces of homebase than before. 4) Consideration is given to the main subject spaces before the other subject spaces.
