Development of a Moving Monitor System for Growing Crops and Environmental Information in Green House (시설하우스 이동형 환경 및 생장 모니터링 시스템 개발)

  • In rural area, our farmers confront decreasing benefits owing to imported crops and increased cost. Recently, the government encourage the 6th Industry that merges farming, rural resources, and information and communication technology. Therefor the government makes an investment in supplying 'smart greenhouse' in which a farmer monitor growing crops and environment information to control growing condition. The objective of this study is developing an Moving Monitor and Control System for crops in green House. This system includes a movable sensing unit, a controlling unit, and a server PC unit. The movable sensing unit contains high resolution IP camera, temperature and humidity sensor and WiFi repeater. It rolls on a rail hanging beneath the ceiling of a green house. The controlling unit contains embedded PC, PLC module, WiFi router, and BLDC motor to drive the movable sensing unit. And the server PC unit contains a integrated farm management software and home pages and databases in which the images of crops and environment informations. The movable sensing unit moves widely in a green house and gathers lots of information. The server saves these informations and provides them to customers with the direct commercing web page. This system will help farmers to control house environment and sales their crops in online market. Eventually It will be helpful for farmers to increase their benefits.

A Study on the Development of IoT Inspection System for Gas Leakage Inspection in Kitchen Gas Range Built-in Method (주방 가스레인지 빌트인 방식에서 가스 누출검사를 위한 IoT 검사 시스템 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, an IoT inspection system that can be linked with a server was developed using a gas timer and ESP-01 Wi-Fi module installed on a gas valve in the home. The server environment of the gas leak IoT inspection system was installed with APM (Apache, PHP, MySQL) to collect gas pressure data by generation so that leakage checks could be performed. In order to control the gas leak IoT inspection system, the app inventory was used to manage the gas leak check value in real time. In addition, user convenience has been enhanced so that membership management, WiFi settings, and leakage check values can be checked through mobile apps. In order to manage subscribers by region, the user list was checked by logging in in in the administrator mode so that the information on whether or not the leak test was conducted and the results could be provided. In addition, when the user presses the gas leak check button, the pressure is automatically checked, and the measured value is stored in the server, and when a gas leak occurs, the leakage check is performed after alarm and repair so that it can be used if normal. In addition, in order to prevent overlapping membership, membership management can be performed based on MAC addresses.

  • Recently emphasizing the importance of security such as national major institutions' facilities or major industrial facilities for the maintenance of security/crime prevention due to specialization of the Green Information Technology(G-IT) and Green Ubiquitous Technology(G-UT) industry fields, The Security System Building linked high technology within the government-related organization, enterprise and army the military is urgently required. This paper is about the green USN intelligent an unmanned guard MUX system that receive the signals, from alarm device within surveillance area, with various ways of communication techniques and then transmit to local control center and remote control server trough TCP/IP network. This study enables the mutual senergy effect by realizing a total solution of an unmanned guard system and also significantly contributes to the global/domestic market expansion. That can be applied to the crime prevention/security fields in the Green Ubiquitous Environment Implemented Business(survalance-Home, Gu-City, Gu-Health, etc.), and will contribute to expand companies with international competitiveness that can provide the Green Ubiquitous Vision(Gu-Vision).

Analysis for Efficiency of Long Range Wireless IoT Network (장거리무선통신 IoT 네트워크 효율성 분석)

  • Recently, IoT technology has been applied to the control of appliances in the home, and information about temperature, humidity, etc. is collected and the application of the system to control the indoor environment automatically is increasing. Currently, the network configuration of IoT devices is mainly used to connect IoT devices to the Internet through wireless gateways. Since such a method is dependent on a gateway, there are limitations in providing various services. Therefore, this paper proposes an independent method of gateway by using IoT network without using gateway by applying long distance wireless communication technology. IoT devices using the proposed long distance wireless internet technology can connect to a remote server and provide mobility that can not be supported by existing methods, thereby providing more various services. The performance evaluation of the proposed network configuration method is compared with the delay time and the amount of data generated in the existing network method constituted by the gateway and the proposed network configuration method respectively. Experimental results show that the proposed method decreases the delay time and the amount of data generated by the gateway.

  • Far-talking recognition and distributed speech recognition networking techniques are essential to control various and complex home services conveniently with voices. It is possible to control devices everywhere at home by using only voices. In this paper, we have developed the server-client DSP module for distributed speech recognition network system and proposed a new decision rule to decide intelligently whether to accept the recognition results or not by the transferred confidence rate. Simulation results show that the proposed decision rule delivers better performances than the conventional decision by majority rule or decision by first-arrival. Also, we have proposed the new interrupt-polling technique to remedy the defect of existing delay technique which always has to wait several clients' results for a few seconds. The proposed technique queries all client's status after first-arrival and decides whether to wait or not. It can remove unnecessary delay-time without any performance degradation.

  • The "intelligent internet power outlets" realized in this study use Internet environment to connect electrical and electronic products to the Net as well as to enable remote monitoring and control. They also have temperature and light sensors, and even offer scheduling options by means of a universal calendar run by an inner real-time timer. Furthermore, they control 4 outlets handling 4 external input conditions and infrared remote control with easy-to-use functions for home automation control. The user interface is equipped with an embedded Web server and UDP protocol handler, and which also allows special control programs be used with the Web browser. Thus, installing this real-time power control function with optimal scheduling and various communication functions will provide you with energy-efficient power outlets outfitted with the increasingly popular "standby power" electric power efficiency.

  • With developed countries, nationally the supply and development of electric vehicle(EV) has been going at a rapid pace. Now, the charger specifications, charging methods and standardization of communication protocols is going in each country and a lot of company are involved in the business about those. To popularize it as existing car, it is required to build the network and infrastructure which is proper for domestic environment. It should also need to be able to develop standardized protocols can be beyond the construction of the protocol of the upper stage server and charger, and is used in a residential environment actually applied to related industries. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a home network model of EV that raised the need for a study of the charging system for EV, using M2M technology and multi-charging system tailored to the residential environment of our country.

Therefore, in this paper it can inquire state of electronic, furniture devices through apartment complex web server and gear that control groove network at smart phone, and control, and confirms home state prevention of crimes state, and video inquiry of position that CCTV is placed in apartment complex was available. And it proposed integrated smart apartment with parking system and medical system using RFID system in ubiquitous environment.

  • Social needs of smart work have been increasing throughout the worldwide and several developed countries have been developing enabled framework for smart work's coming proceed for a long time. The government is leading the smart work in Korea to devise a more efficient and competitiveness. Design of public collaboration solution has been proposed to provide the integration among a variety of smart environments and the interoperability between end-to-end. This paper takes a objective to develop a universal solution applicable to between traditional PC and mobile devices, such as a home station, and to built smart workplace linking workplace, outside space and the home. In particular, this paper offer entry-level advantages of public collaboration solution in conjunction with collaboration platform and phone platform owned by mobile communication platform company are mutually interfaced and aimed at small and medium-sized businesses and public.

  • An ubiquitous healthcare system for the home care of elderly persons was designed and implemented using wireless sensor network technology. The wireless technology for home-care purpose gives new possibilities for monitoring of vital parameter with wearable biomedical sensors, and will give the patient the freedom to be mobile and still be under continuously monitoring and thereby to better quality of patient care. Emphasis is placed on recent advances in wireless ECG system for cardiac event monitoring with particular attention to arrhythmia detection in patient. This paper presents a diagnostic system for cardiac arrhythmias from ECG data, using wireless sensor technology. The system also provides an application for recording activities, events and potentially important medical symptoms. The hardware allows data to be transmitted wirelessly from on-body sensor to the base station and then to PC/PDA. Data is also transmitted to a back-end server for analysis using wireless internet connection. Experiments were conducted using the system for activity monitoring, exercise monitoring and medical screening tests and present preliminary data and results.
