AL6061-T4의 보링가공 시 절삭조건에 따른 직경 변화에 관한 연구 (A study on the Change of Diameter Based on Cutting Conditions in AL6061-T4 Boring Machining)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of the change in the spindle speed and the feed rate on the diameter change of a hole using a boring cutter for the internal boring process of AL6061-T4 alloys. The experimental results are quantitatively analyzed by applying the factor analysis and the response surface analysis of the experimental design method. The tendency of the diameter change according to the change in the spindle speed and feed level is also evaluated. During the internal boring process of AL6061-T4 alloys, the main factor affecting the diameter change is the spindle speed in which the diameter decreases as the number of revolutions increases. In addition, the diameter tends to increase as the feed is increased; however, as the number of spindle revolutions increases, the influence of the feed decreases.

  • Electric vehicle body has to be subjected to uniform load and requires auxiliary equipment such as air pipe and electric wire pipe. Especially, the cross beam supports the weight of passenger and electrical equipments. a lightweight vehicle body is salutary to save operating costs and fuel consumption. Therefore this study is to perform the size and the shape optimization of crossbeam for electric vehicle using the method of topology optimization to introduce the concept of homogenization based on optimality criteria method which is efficient for the problem having the number of design variables and a few boundary condition. this provides the method to determine the optimum position and shape of circular hole in the cross beam and then can achieve the optimal design to reduce weight.

  • The purpose of the thesis is to develop simulation program for forecasting of optical connector. So we can achieve the time and the money saving for making the optical connector. Optical performance (insertion loss) of optical connector mainly relies on 3 misalignment factors-ferrule factor due to mis-manufacture from design, auto-centering effect that is fiber behavior phenomena between hole and fiber, fiber misalignment factor. Simulation use experimental data with auto-centering effect and fiber factor and use pseudo data with ferrule through random number generation because it is developing stage. In this study we a, pp.y kernel density estimation method with experimental data in order to know whether it belong to or not specific parametric distribution family. And we simulate to forecast insertion loss of optical multifiber connector under specific design model using nonparametric bootstrap resampling data and parametric pseudo samples from uniform distribution. We obtain the tolerance specifications of misalignment factors satisfying not exceed in maximum 1.0dB and choose optimal hole diameter.

  • In this study, we attempted to characterize the physical meaning of the design parameters used for automobile passive dampers by considering the slit, disc, and hole, which influence the pressure characteristics. We also analyzed the change in the pressure characteristics when mixing various slits and discs. Finally, we used a computer simulation to implement lag according to nitrogen gas and analyzed the dependence of frequency on the nitrogen gas pressure.

  • In order to ensure the structural dynamic stability of moving liquid-storage containers, the flow motion of interior liquid should be appropriately suppressed by means of mechanical devices such as the disc-type elastic baffle. In practice, the design of a suitable baffle requires a priori the parametric dynamic characteristics of storage containers, with respect to the design parameters of baffle, such as the installation location and inner-hole size, the baffle number, and so on. In this paper, we intend to investigate the parametric effect of the baffle parameters on the transient dynamic behavior of a cylindrical fuel-storage tank in an abrupt vertical acceleration motion. For this goal, we employ the ALE (arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian) kinematic description method incorporated with the finite element method.

  • This paper describes a Chuck System developed for scaling PDP gas hole on PDP panel glass. There are lots of constraints for designing Chuck System: high temperature, high vacuum, precious motor control etc. A such constraints was considered by design of structure and by selecting of parts and material for Chuck System. The Chuck System was manufactured and assembled after the design process. It was applied on the PDP process unit. For sealing POP hole, precious control of a step motor was important in this system. For this experiment, a step motor, motor driver and micro controller(80196KC) were used.

  • The objective of this study is to find out the design data for gas burner with an axal and radial type nozzles. The design parameters are chosen as the stabilizer type, the jet hole size of gas nozzle, the distance between gas nozzle and stabilizer, the size of stabilizer and the hole size of stabilizer, the stabilizer type with or without air swirler, the angle of swirler. For the experimental test combustor sizing ${\phi}1.3m{\times}L4.5m$ is designed and manufactured, in which the set up of power diagram, the exhaust gas analysis, blow-off test, the flame temperature and the direct photography are performed.

  • The thermal stress have an effect on the frictional factor such as applied load, sliding speed, sliding distance and number of ventilated disk hole. However, it is difficult to know the mutual relation of these factors on thermal stress of motorcycle break disk. For this, temperature of motorcycle break disk is measured using a disk-on-pad type friction tester with full factorial design containing above 4 elements. and the thermal stress analysis of it was carried out using with ANSYS workbench. From this study, the result was shown that the regression equation which have a trust rate of 95% for thermal stress presumption of motorcycle break disk with frictional factor was composed. It is possible to apply for another automobile parts.

  • A column for streetlamp has been damaged by severe wind loads such as typhoon. The stress concentration around the inspection hole may cause the collapse of the column for streetlamp. In this paper, the effects due to the wind load of 60 m/s and the car crash to the column at the speed of 48 km/h were considered to examine the design stability analysis of the column for streetlamp. The maximum von Mises stress did not exceed the yield stress of the material. Considering the car crash, the column for streetlamp was not collapsed.
