2009 개정 초등 과학교과서의 과학사 도입 내용과 과학의 본성 분석 (Analysis of the Introduced Contents and the Nature of Science on the History of Science in Elementary School Science Textbooks according to the 2009 Revised Curriculum)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2009 개정 초등 과학교과서의 과학사 도입 내용과 이에 반영된 과학의 본성 요소를 분석하는 것이다. 분석을 위해 우선 2009 개정 초등 과학교과서 8종을 새롭게 도입된 학년군과 내용 영역에 따라 과학사의 도입 자료와 제시형태를 도출하고 보다 체계적이고 심층적인 분석을 위해 과학사와 관련된 내용을 박세기, 이기영, 이면우(2011)가 개발한 3차원 조합 분석틀을 이용하여 과학사의 도입 내용을 분석하고, Leite(2002)가 개발하고 최윤희(2005)와 정고은(2013)이 수정한 분석틀을 보완하여 과학의 본성 요소를 분석하였다. 이 연구의 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2009 개정 초등 과학교과서에 제시된 과학사 자료는 총 26개로 학년군 및 내용 영역별로 자료의 분포가 고르지 않았다. 둘째, 전체 48개의 3차원 조합 유형 가운데에서 오직 13개 유형만 사용되고 있어 특정 유형에 편중하여 과학사를 도입하고 있었다. 셋째, 과학사 자료에 반영된 과학의 본성 요소가 학년 및 영역별로 고르게 분포되지 않았다. 결론적으로 과학사를 통해 과학의 본성을 이해하고 과학적 소양을 함양하기 위해서는 2009 개정 초등 과학교과서에서의 학년군과 내용 영역을 고려하여 다양한 유형의 과학사 자료를 도입해야 하고, 과학의 본성 요소를 적절히 반영하도록 교과서 도입에 있어 보다 다차원적인 접근이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

지역 구술기록의 생산과 관리 현황 및 개선방안 - 부산지역을 중심으로 - (Creating and Managing Local Oral Records in Busan)

  • 국내 구술사 연구는 1980년대 중후반 현대사 진실 규명을 위해 시작되었다. 근 현대 주요 사건에 대한 구술기록이 다수 생산되다가 2000년대 후반부터 지역과 마을에 대한 구술 사업이 증가했다. 부산에서는 2009년 국립부산국악원의 예술가 구술생애사 사업을 시작으로 2016년까지 10개 공공기관에서 33건의 구술 사업이 진행되었다. 지역민의 기억을 통해 부산의 정체성을 찾고 도시개발로 사라져가는 마을을 기록하는데 구술사는 유용한 방법으로 자리매김하고 있다. 그러나 구술 사업에서 1차 자료가 제대로 생산되지 않고 사후 관리가 체계적으로 되지 않아 향후 연구자료로 재활용할 수 없는 문제가 있다. 본 연구는 2009년부터 2016년 사이 부산지역의 구술기록 생산과 관리 현황을 파악하고, 지역 구술기록을 지역 아카이브로 보존하고 활용할 수 있도록 하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

요추추간판탈출증환자 49례의 탈출양상에 따른 한방치료에 대한 임상적 고찰 (The clinical study on difference of sex, age, medical history, part, or type in patients with lumbar spine herniation of nucleus pulpous)

  • Objective : In treatment of lumbar spine herniation of nucleus pulpous, the different result in accordance with difference of sex, age, medical history, part, or type. Methods : After 49 patients who were diagnosed as HNP of L-spine were grouped by sex, age, medical history, part, or type, they were compared and analyzed on the basis of difference between measuring VAS and ODI as they were hospitalized and as they were discharged. Results : 1. In terms of differences by gender, males' average degree of VAS improvement was 63.92 and females' average degree of VAS improvement was 59.8. Also, Males' average ODI improvement index was 12.36 and females' average ODI improvement index was 12.5. 2. In terms of differences by age, Teens recorded highest degree of VAS improvement and ODI improvement index. 3. In terms of differences by medical history, Most acute or acute patients showed higher degree of VAS improvement and ODI improvement index than subacute or chronic patients. 4. There were no significant distinguishing markscomparing between one diseased part and other. 5. As the research that focused on different type, Extrusion type had better improvement by medical treatment than Protrusion type. Conclusion : This research drew the result as above, but recognizable statistical relation could not be found in the result. Therefore there needs much sustainable research to deduce meaningful result.

박판성형 공정 설계 및 해석의 발전 (Research History and Recent Trends in the Development of Sheet Metal-Forming Processes)

  • Sheet metal-forming processes such as stamping, deep drawing, bending, shearing, hydroforming, hydromechanical deep drawing, rubber forming, and incremental forming have been widely used in the automotive, aircraft, and ship-building industries. With the expansion of the automotive industry, research on these processes has been remarkably developed in Korea since the 1980s. Here, we review the history of this research as well as recent trends in sheet metal-forming processes. This overview focuses specifically on the results of research in Korea and on the works of Professor D.Y. Yang, in honor of his retirement.

티베트 의학과 한의학의 요진법에 대한 비교 고찰 (A Comparative Study on the Urinalysis of the Tibetan Medicine and the Traditional Korean Medicine)

  • This study focuses on the contents about the Urinalysis which is the most representative one of the Tibetan medicine. Also, this study compares it with the Urinalysis of Traditional Korean medicine. This study focuses on the simple history, the theoretical system, the diagnosis and the urinalysis mainly based on the documents related to the Tibetan medicine. Also, through the comparison with the contents of textbook of Traditional Korean Medicine and the urinalysis shown in the Dongeuibogam(東醫寶鑑) which is the representative Korean medical book, the difference between Tibetan Medicine and Traditional Korean Medicine will be observed. The contents related about the urinalysis of the Tibetan medicine are more specific than those of Traditional Korean Medicine. By observing the color, scent, vapor and sediment of one's urine together with periodic changes more thoroughly, it is possible to find out the cause of a certain disease. However, Traditional Korean Medicine examines the medical conditions mainly based on the state of discharge and fever, showing a clear difference. The Tibetan medicine has an extremely specific type of urinalysis in comparison with that of Traditional Korean Medicine. It is the only characteristic of the Tibet medicine, which cannot be found in any other traditional medicine. By applying the viewpoint of the doctor who diagnoses the patient by measuring his or her pulse, it is possible to make the diagnosing process more specific and accurate. It is expected that the follow-up study will be continuously executed with the introduction of the system for the urinalysis of the Tibetan medicine to Traditional Korean medicine.

데이터베이스를 이용한 『금궤요략』 처방(處方) 분석 연구 (Analysis of 『Jinguiyaolue』 Prescriptions using Database)

  • Objectives : The aim of this paper is to study the methodology for effectively analyzing the "Jinguiyaolue" prescriptions using database, and to explore possibilities of applying the data construction and query produced in the process to comparative research with other texts in the future. Methods : Using "Xinbianzhongjingquanshu(新編仲景全書)" as original script, the contents of "Jinguiyaolue" were entered into the database, in which one verse would be separated according to content for individual usage. Also, data with medicinal construction and disease pattern information of the previously constructed "Shanghanlun" database designed for comparison with other texts was applied for comparative analysis. Results : For input and analysis, 6 tables and 12 queries were made and used. Formulas were accessible by using herbal combinations, and applications of these formulas could be assembled for comparison. Formulas were also accessible by using disease pattern combinations, and combinations of herbs and disease pattern together were also applicable. In comparison with other texts, examples and frequency of usage of herbs could be relatively accurately compared, while disease patterns could not easily be compared. Conclusions : Herbal combinations, disease pattern combinations could yield related texts and herb/disease pattern combinations of the prescriptions in the "Jinguiyaolue", which shortened time needed for research among formulas in texts. However, standardization research for disease pattern is necessary for a more accurate comparative study that includes disease pattern information.

수학사 연구 방향의 두 갈래와 '기하학적 대수학' (Two fundamental direction over historical research of mathematics and geometrical algebra)

  • 본고에서는 1970년대 이후로 전개된 수학사 연구의 기본 방향의 변화를 다룬다. 그 가운데서도 유클리드 <원론> II권의 내용인 이른바 '기하학적 대수학'에 대한 해석을 둘러싸고 벌어진 일련의 논쟁이 어떻게 전개되었는지를 소개하고, 그 논쟁이 수학사 연구의 방향 전환과 어떤 관련성을 띠는지를 밝히도록 한다.

"동의보감(東醫寶鑑)"과 "본초강목(本草綱目)"의 한국적 전유(專有)와 조선후기 의학 특징의 형성 -"본초유함(本草類函)"과 "본초유함요령(本草類函要領)"을 중심으로- (The Appropriation of Donguibogam and Bencao Gangmu and the Shaping of Distinctive Korean Medicine in the late Joseon Dynasty)

  • Bonchoyuham Nyoryeong(本草類函要領) shows how Donguibogam(東醫寶鑑) -Mirror of Eastern Medicine- is understood, digested into Korean medicine, and at the same time how it participated in the historical shaping of Korean medicine since the publishing in the early 17th century. The author, Hyeon Jae-deok, internalized the structure, content, and significance of Donguibogam and drew out a novel, concise, but comprehensive type of medical manual, while many other medical books since the 17century in Korea are estimated to have been an abridged edition of the Donguibogam. It may well be estimated as exemplar of the extent to which Donguibogam informed Korean medicine since the 17 century. The book shows as well how Bencao Gangmu(本草綱目) -Compendium of Materia Medica- and Donguibogam are merged and set a new medical stream in the 19th century Korea. Hyeon Jae-deok looked at the Bencao Gangmu from the lens of clinical treatment and prescription such that he focused on sections, elements, or parts of procedures, treatments, and prescriptions, not on the herbal taxonomic knowledge of the book. This perspective was embodied in Bonchoyuham(本草類函), which cited simple remedies, prescriptions, or treatments from Bencao Gangmu.

GROUPS OF GALAXIES IN HISTORY: EVOLUTION IN THE MILLENNIUM SIMULATION

  • We use the millennium simulation for studying the evolution of groups of galaxies over time. We find fossil and non-fossil groups as well as old and young groups at redshift z = 0 and follow them back in time to investigate the evolution of their parameters, such as mass assembly, luminosity gap and halo mass concentration. We find that fossils assemble a larger fraction of their mass at z = 0 than controls. The magnitude gaps between fossil and non-fossil groups are not the same because of major and minor mergers, in old and young groups as well. We also find that WMAP1 and WMAP7 cosmologies lead to the same evolutionary history for fossil and control groups.

Elasto-plastic time history analysis of a 117-story high structure

  • In Chinese Design Codes, for super high-rise buildings with complex structural distribution, which are regarded as code-exceeding buildings, elasto-plastic time history analysis is needed to validate the requirement of "no collapse under rare earthquake". In this paper, a 117-story super high-rise building is discussed. It has a height of 597 m and a height-width ratio of 9.5, which have both exceeded the limitations stipulated by the Chinese Design Codes. Mega columns adopted in this structure have cross section area of about $45m^2$ at the bottom, which is infrequent in practical projects. NosaCAD and Perform-3D, both widely used in nonlinear analyses, were chosen in this study, with which two model were established and analyzed, respectively. Elasto-plastic time history analysis was conducted to look into its seismic behavior, emphasizing on the stress state and deformation abilities under intensive seismic excitation.From the comparisons on the results under rare earthquake obtained from NosaCAD and Perform-3D, the overall responses such as roof displacement, inter story drift, base shear and damage pattern of the whole structure from each software show agreement to an extent. Besides, the deformation of the structure is below the limitation of the Chinese Codes, the time sequence and distribution of damages on core tubes are reasonable, and can dissipate certain inputted energy, which indicates that the structure can meet the requirement of "no collapse under rare earthquake".
