This paper addresses the assessment of voltage sag costs based on the stochastic prediction of voltage sags. When voltage sags below a certain voltage threshold occur at sensitive industrial process, the industrial customer will experience financial damage. In order to mitigate voltage sag costs and devise efficient solutions to mitigate damage, a study on the financial loss assessment of voltage sags is basically needed. In order to assess the voltage sag costs, the expected sag frequency at a sensitive load point should be calculated by using the concept of the area of vulnerability and historical fault statistics. Then, financial loss due to voltage sags can be obtained by multiplying the expected sag frequency by the cost per sag event.

As the interest of environment was increased recently, the environment friendly propellants are required in space community, The hydrogen peroxide is the most suitable propellant for this because it requires very low development cost and has very low environmental impact. In this paper the chemical characteristics, advantage/disadvantage as a propellant, historical applications and recent developments were discussed.

Preventive maintenance can avail the generating unit to reduce cost and gain more profit in a competitive supply-side power market. so, it is necessary to perform reliability analysis on the systems in which reliability is essential. In this paper, FMECA assessment adopted using real historical failure data in Korean power plants for apply RCM analytical method. The stochastic FMECA is an engineering analysis and a core activity performed by reliability engineers to review the effects of probable failure modes of generating unit and assemblies of the power system on system performance. Optimal RCM schedule which is considered the severity level of each generating unit and failure probability from failure prediction of generating unit can be planned using proposed FMECA with IOE index.

The information material in the library or in the information service center is at once its own property and the national resources, so that every citizen in the country has the right to the equal use of it for the development of the country. Library co-operation enables every citizen to use easily and equally the materials in the library. In the informational society of today, owing to the information explosion, the increase in the various user's demand of the information, and the rise of the cost of information material, even the richest and highly advanced country cannot be self-sufficient. Under these circumstances, the international co-operation among libraries seems to be the best way to solve the difficulties of selfsufficiency. Therefore, this paper aims to study the background of IFLA founded in 1927 in order to promote the international library co-operation and its development up to 1970's since its establishment, and, by introducing IFLA's programs of UBC, ISBD, and UAP, to consider the significance of IFLA's contribution to the development of library and librarianship.

This paper intends to describe the concepts and historical development of electronic library, to examine some of information technologies such as CD-ROM, electronic books, multimedia and networks, and to analyze cases of electronic library. Electronic library is able to offer many services in digital form, ranging from bibliographic databases on CD-ROM running on standalone computers, to fully networked abstracts and texts, available inside and outside the library. For users, the electronic library is a means of improving the speed of access to library materials, of providing a simple means of the selecting materials amid the glut of information available, and of eliminating the need to visit a library for many information inquires. In summary, electronic library has the potential to give scholars better service than conventional libraries, at a lower cost. However, remember that, today, almost all these benefits are still potential.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the formative properties of fashion bag in contemporary fashion. Today fashion bags can be divided into spatial aesthetic, romantic aesthetic, conspicuous aesthetic, active aesthetic. Spatial aesthetic is a type of big bag which is suitable for women carrying lots of things on a daily basis. Romantic aesthetic is a symbol of femininity in respect for its handmade artistry, splendor, decoration, and impracticality by small size. Conspicuous aesthetic embodies human desire of high quality and being part of prestige of luxury brand regardless of its cost. Multi-functional aesthetic was coming form sports gear and are popular among young generation. In comtemporary fashion, bag take important role as the fashion good which make the clothes look better and additionally they are representative products which reflect the historical situation.

As the GPS(Global Positioning System) vulnerabilities were introduced, alternative systems to GPS backup have been studied for several years. Enhanced Loran(eLoran) as the worldwide ground-based supplementary radio navigation system was recommended as the cost effective alternative to GPS backup. Many efforts on adoption of eLoran as GPS backup have been presented. The US has been the leading role and announced that 70% enhancement for eLoran was established last year. However, the Obama administration cut off the eLoran budget on the fiscal year 2010 budget proposal while GAO's reports submitted that GPS service gap would be possible just some years later. Besides the US's condition, there are still many positive opinions on eLoran to GPS backup. This paper introduces the historical and technical aspects of eLoran and Korea's research topics.

The present study was aimed to estimate the urban sprawl in a historical city of India using series of satellite data between 1968 and 2005(37 years) and GIS. The total area of the Tiruchirappalli city was 1991.96 ha during 1968 and it was expanded into 4335.98 ha(117.67%) during 2005. The average growth rate per year was 63.35 ha. This 117.67% growth was at the cost of agriculture land(97.81%) and water body(2.19%). The satellite data used in this study were found to be good source of information for this kind of analysis and further studies are need to estimate the impact of this city expansion on agriculture yield and ground water.

Food irradiation is beginning to provide a safe, effective, and economical alternative treatment for many food products, especially for the raw food of animal origin. The historical background and wholesomeness of food irradiation were examined. The application and effect of the process were investigated. The cost and benefit of the irradiated poultry meat were evaluated. The effect of irradiation on the poultry meat, poultry products, and microorganisms were reviewed. With the safety of irradiated poultry meat and poultry products established, the future of the process is promissing.

So, it is necessary to perform reliability analysis on the power systems in which reliability is essential. Thus, to schedule optimal PM planning based on reliability that is defined RCM(Reliability-Centered Maintenance), FMECA(Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis) assessment is very important. Therefore, in this paper, the procedure of FMECA assessment for optimal RCM is proposed by probabilistic approach using real historical failure data of combustion-turbine generators in Korean power systems. The stochastic FMECA is performed based on the effects of probable failure modes of combustion-turbine generating unit.
