녹색도로 구현을 위한 기술 우선순위 결정에 관한 연구 (A Study on Technology Priorities for Green Highway)

  • 기후 변화로 인하여 발생하는 자연재해에 대한 뉴스는 더 이상 놀라운 일이 아니다. 우리나라 정부는 온실가스 특히 이산화탄소 저감에 대한 녹색기술 개발에 박차를 가하고 있다. 본 연구는 탄소 저감 및 에너지 효율화를 실현하고, 미래지향적인 녹색도로를 구현하기 위하여, 녹색도로기술을 정의하고, 기술의 우선순위를 결정하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 국내 도로와 교통 전문가 29인에게 AHP기법을 통하여 설문조사를 수행한 후에, Expert Choice 프로그램을 활용하여 선택의 가중치를 분석하였다. 생애주기 변화와 도로 건설 특성을 고려한 1계층 분야와 녹색도로기술을 통하여 달성하고자 하는 목표인 2계층 분야를 구분하여 전문가들의 선택을 분석한 결과, 탄소저감과 에너지 절감을 위해서는 1계층에서는 교통운영 인프라개선, 도로교통정책, 녹색교통 순으로 우선순위 가중치가 높으며, 2계층에서는 녹색도로 관련 기술 R&D투자 및 정책 지원, 녹색교통시설 설계 및 운영, 친환경 도로계획 순으로 우선순위 가중치가 높았다. 추가적으로 전문가들의 기술 우선순위와 국가 재정투자를 비교하기 위하여 2011년까지 5년간의 국토해양부 도로투자를 살펴보았다. 우리나라는 최근 도로건설에 대한 투자보다는 도로의 효율성을 강조하고 이용자의 편의를 도모하는 도로 관리로 전환하고 있는 추세다. 하지만 전문가들이 응답한 기술 목표를 달성하고 최종적으로 녹색도로 구현을 위한 핵심 및 요소기술 개발과 중소기업 기반 도로 산업 육성을 위한 투자는 아직 미진하다고 볼 수 있다. 따라서 녹색도로 건설 구현을 위하여 녹색도로기술 개발 R&D투자를 도모하고 상업화를 지원하는 풍토가 조성되는 것이 필요하다고 판단된다.

차량용 공조시스템의 현황 및 고속버스의 실내 공기 환경 측정 (The Assessing the HVAC system and Measurements of Indoor Air Quality of Highway Bus)

  • The current focus of domestic car industry is moving from technological development to reducing greenhouse gas. This study investigates and measures the HVAC system and indoor air condition of highway buses, which is conducted to develop a HVAC system using natural energy in the future. The measurements show that thermal balance is not fulfilled because heating sources are randomly placed, and relative humidity is in the 20 percent range both in HVAC and non-HVAC systems, which is far below 40%, or the highest thermal comfort level. CO2 concentration was found to be an average of 1500 ppm, but not more than 2522 ppm with 15 persons on board, and with 29 persons on board, an average of 2053 ppm, but not more than 3066 ppm, both of which far exceed allowed CO2 concentration level, or 1000 ppm. Generally, highway buses drop by rest stops and open doors for 15 to 20 minutes for getting in fresh air. But its air improvement effect is temporary, and it exacerbates indoor air condition.

고속도로 사고다발지점 개선사례 경제성 분석에 관한 연구(안전시설물 중심으로) (A Study on Economic Analysis of Improvement of High Accident Locations in Highway(Focused on Safety Facilities))

  • 우리나라의 급속한 경제성장은 여객과 물자의 수송수요 증가 및 도시집중화를 가져왔다. 여기에 국민소득수준의 향상과 더불어 자동차는 없어서는 안 될 생활필수품으로 각광을 받고 있다. 그러나 자동차의 도로 교통 활동으로 인한 교통정체와 교통사고로 인해 국민경제에 대한 평가를 절하시키거나 감소시키고 있다. 이에 우리나라에서는 교통안전개선사업의 필요성이 대두되기 시작하여 개선사업을 실행에 옮기고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 개선사업의 분석을 실시하여 첫째, 개선사업의 성공여부와 또한 성공적이었다면 그 효과의 정도를 분석하고 둘째, 개선사업의 효과에 관한 데이터를 공급과 개선사업의 개발의 필요성을 인식시켜주고 셋째, 정책입안자 또는 사업 관계자들에게 효과성이나 개선안에 대한 정보를 제공하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 사고다발지점 선정에 관한 연구를 통하여 종합지수법에 의하여 선정된 각각의 사고다발지점에 대한 개선사업 전 후의 사고건수와 사고율에 의한 효과성을 분석하였다. 다음으로 선정된 사고다발지점에 대한 개선 전과 개선 후의 사고비용과 개선사업비를 년차별로 산출하여 경제성 평가를 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과로 첫째, 개선사업 전 후의 사고선수와 사고율에 대한 효과성 분석을 통하여 개선사업 후에 사고가 상당히 감소하였음을 보였다. 둘째, 개선사업 전 후의 경제성 평가를 실시함으로써 안전시설물에 의한 사고다발지점의 개선사업의 경제적 타당성을 보였다.

  • Daylight collapse have been occurred by about 5.0m deep at ground surface and collapse of the crown head part of the tunnel have connected to the ground surface during first step of shotcrete work after blasting of upper half section of the tunnel driving at two-way double track tunnel face section on highway construction. This study is for a successful illustration case for the earth improvement method through applying such strengthening methods as cement milk grouting, S.G.R grouting,, steel pipe reinforced multi-step grouting etc. for the purpose of earth strengthening of loosened earth block occurred by tunnel collapse.

건설CALS에서 고속도로인허가 시스템 구현 사례 (A Case Study on Implementing Highway Approval/Permission System in Construction CALS)

  • This paper is to analyze business activities of approval/permission (A/P) and to describe its problems. To conduct the A/P business activities currently, there are many problems such as complex business process and different business policies among the each organization. In order to solve the problems, this paper suggests the A/P system of highway construction CALS (Commerce at Light Speed). CALS, a top down vision of complete computing integration, promises to support electronic data exchange. The A/P system is designed to classified documents based on CALS standard and store them to database. The data register to the A/P system by the Internet, and each construction company can use the A/P system by Internet also. Benefits of the A/P system is reduction in junk documents for approval/permission actives, improvement in conduct and services life cycle support.

Stochastic Traffic Congestion Evaluation of Korean Highway Traffic Information System with Structural Changes

  • The stochastic phenomena of traffic network condition, such as traffic speed and density, are affected not only by exogenous traffic control but also by endogenous changes in service time during congestion. In this paper, we propose a mixed M/G/1 queuing model by introducing a condition-varying parameter of traffic congestion to reflect structural changes in the traffic network. We also develop congestion indices to evaluate network efficiency in terms of traffic flow and economic cost in traffic operating system using structure-changing queuing model, and perform scenario analysis according to various traffic network improvement policies. Empirical analysis using Korean highway traffic operating system shows that our suggested model better captures structural changes in the traffic queue. The scenario analysis also shows that occasional reversible lane operation during peak times can be more efficient and feasible than regular lane extension in Korea.

  • Recently, Korea Highway Corporation has attemped to improve the highway safety in accordance with minimizing user's imconveniences. Currently, the Anti Skidding Pavement(ASP) has been introduced as a safety countermeasure on the safety frailty sections. In this study, a series of field evaluations on pavement skid resistance have been conducted on the skid frailty sections to analyze the effects and problems of the Anti Skidding Pavement (ASP), and to understand the behavior of pavement skid resistance due to pavement type, section characteristics, vehicles' speed and traffec volume. Test results show the Anti Skidding Pavement (ASP) has the effects to induce vehicles' speed reduction. However, there are no effects to increase skid resistance. According to these results, it is demanded to improve the applying method of current Anti Skidding Pavement (ASP) to devise an effective safety countermeasure for pavement skid, and to increase pavement skid resistance.

지방부 도로의 양보차선 설계기준 정립을 위한 이론적 연구 (A Method for the Development of Design Guides for Passing Lenes on Rural Two-Lane Highways)

  • The effects of passing lanes on traffic flow on rural two-lane highways have been investigated in this research. Field study results were compared with the computer simulation model, TRARR, TRARR model appears to be in good agreement with field study results except that average speed and distribution of platoon sizes showed a small amount of discrepancy, which is believed to be caused by too large a headway definition of 6 second for a vehicle platoon. Using the TRARR model, 4 situations including the existing condition, installation of passing lanes, improvement of design speed, and expansion to a four lane highway were evaluated. Traffic volume levels of 500,1000, and 1500 vph and truck composition of 20 and 40% were also considered making a total of 24 computer runs. It is concluded in this research that the installation of passing lanes is the most effective method to improve traffic operation on two-lane high ways except the alternative of four lane highway expansion.

  • This paper is proposed a reasonable method for determining the dynamic properties, the impact factors caused by traffic loads on highway bridges. In addition, the impact factors obtained in previous inspection reports were classified by the span length of the bridge, kind of bridge and type of bridge and the result of the impact factor was adjusted by a statistical method and presented problems. Also, the method for determining the impact factor using traffic load is proposed and the proposed method is compared with the specification code. The method estimating the impact factors due to the traffic loads can efficiently recognize the response of the structure by providing the impact factors and help to save the investigation cost, and also it can be used for the maintenance of structures using the usual test of bridges.
