웨이퍼 연삭 가공 기술의 동향 및 가공 정밀도 향상에 관한 연구 (The Trend of wafer Grinding Technology and Improvement of Machining Accuracy)

  • In silicon wafer manufacturing process, the grinding process has been adopted to improve the quality of wafer such as flatness, roughness and so on. This paper describes the effect of grinding process on the surface quality of wafer. The experiments are carried out by high precision in fred grinder with air bearing spindle. The relationship between the inclination of chuck table and the flatness of wafer is investigated, and the effect of grinding conditions including wheel speed, table speed, and feed rate on damage depth and roughness of wafer is also investigated. The experimental results show that there is close relationship between the inclination of the chuck table and the flatness of wafer, and the grinding conditions within this paper little affect the flatness of wafer and relatively high affect the damage depth of wafer.

  • A motor-integrated high-speed spindle system with .psi. 65*25, 000rpm is modeled for analytical and experimental studies related to the dynamic characteristics. And the systematic and rational identification processes for evaluating the material properties of spindle and built-in motor is introduced. The impulse excitation method is applied for the experimental model testing, and the dynamic characteristics of test model is theoretically analysed by using the finite element method based on Timoshenko theory. Especially, the experimental and theoetical results reveal that the test model under the required operational conditions has no critical problem for dynamic characteristics.

  • A case of the axle gear box which was one of tile power transmission components of high speed train was supported by the bearings installed in axle and the reaction arm connected in bogie frame. Structural analyses of this case were executed for investigation the application of aluminum for weight reduction. The evaluations of the material strength, the thermal strength and deformation, and the stability of natural vibration were carried out according to computer simulation. It was found out that the steel case was safe from the structural failure. For the aluminum case, there was no worry about the vibration resonance and the static failure, but some efforts to reduce tile deformation of the bearing mounting part.

  • Currently under development is an airborne auxiliary power unit with 100 Kw equivalent power, which is composed of a centrifugal compressor, a reverse annular combustor, and a radial turbine. Air-foil bearings are used in this power unit to eliminate the oil supplying system, which can reduce the system complexity and weight. The high speed generator is adopted as an electric power generation and engine starting system, which can also eliminate the reduction gear system. Not only electric power but also pneumatic power is provided by bleeding the compressed air This power unit is aimed for the multi-purpose use such as a primary power unit In the army weapon system, an auxiliary power and environmental control unit in a next-generation tank, and a smoke generating unit.

  • It is investigated character of the dynamic behavior at over excavation zone of roadbed using crushed stone instead of lean concrete. It is considered that behavior of roadbed using PENTAGON-3D and Baber's equation. Typical load of sine wave type using impact factor is compared to moving load system to examine relationship in using PENTAGON-3D case. Variations of this paper are material properties of roadbed, train velocity, subgrade bearing capacity. Using variations, safety of roadbed is estimated by dynamic behavior character.

  • This paper deal with problems of leakage current, shaft voltage, bearing current, and EMI, in valiable-speed AC drives. The originating mechanism is illustrated with a high-frequency equivalent circuit. Reduction methods are classified in to six categories based on the equivalent circuit. Some experimental results show that a common-mode transformer (CMT) and a common-noise canceler (ACC) can solve the problems, which have been proposed the authors.

  • Cooling characteristics of cooling jacket for spindle system with built-in motor are studied. For the analysis, three dimensional model for the cooling jacket is built by using finite volume method. The three dimensional model includes the estimation on the amount of heat generation of bearing and built-in motor and the thermal characteristic values such as heat flux on the boundary. Numerical results show that flow rate are important factors for cooling characteristics of cooling jacket.

  • Recently the geogrids are being used in some large projects such as Inchon International Airport construction, highway construction, and Korean High-Speed Railway construction with not only the merit of simple construction but also reinforcing efficiency for the soft ground. Main function of roadbed is to provide a stable foundation in terms of bearing capacity and settlement for the subballast and ballsat layers. Differential settlement of the railroad should be avoided. The cyclic laboratory model tests were performed to investigate the settlement behavior of geogrid reinforced railroadbed. The ratio of settlement of roadbed under cyclic loading with three layers of geogrid reinforced is less than 1/2 of the roadbed thickness without reinforcement.

  • 외부가압공기베어링중에서 Fig. 1과 같이 베어링 간극과 비슷항 크기의 간극을 갖는 슬롯을 통하여 공기를 공급하는 형태의 베어링을 슬롯 레스트릭터 공기베어링이라고 한다. 본 연구에서는 공기 윤활 외부가압 슬롯레스트릭터 저어널 베어링의 슬롯의 형상을 변화하는 방법을 이용하여 고속안정성이 우수한 또 다른 슬록의 형상을 제안하고 제안된 슬롯의 고속안정성을 해석하기로 한다.

  • In four cylinder engine, the second order inertia force occurs due to the reciprocating parts of the cylinder. Because the magnitude of the inertia force is proportional to a square of the angular velocity of crank shaft, engine gets suffered from vibration excited by unbalanced inertia force in high speed. This vibration excited by the unbalanced inertia force can be canceled by applying a balance shaft. Balance shaft has one or more unbalance mass and rotates twice quickly than the crank shaft. In this paper, an unbalanced force caused by the rotating of unbalance mass of balance shafts was calculated. The directional equivalent stiffness and damping coefficients of the journal bearing of balance shafts was calculated. Equations of rotational vibration modes were derived using directional stiffness and damping coefficients. The dynamic stability of balance shafts was analyzed and evaluated for two type models using the equivalent stiffness and damping coefficients. An efficient procedure to he able to evaluate dynamic stability and design optimal balance shaft was proposed.
