고감성 의류용 직물의 수분이동특성 -섬유소재와 실 특성 및 실험방법에 따른 수분이동특성- (Moisture Transmission Characteristics of Fabric for High Emotional Garments -Moisture Transmission Characteristics according to Fiber Properties, Yarn Characteristics and Test Method-)

  • Moisture transfer characteristics of high emotional garments are important to evaluate wear comfort. Wicking and drying measurement methods are also critical for perspiration absorption and quick dry fabric made of high functional fibers. In this study, the wicking and drying properties of high emotional fabrics made from hybrid composite yarns using CoolMax, Tencel, Bamboo staple fibers and PP. PET CoolMax filaments were also measured and analyzed according to various measuring methods. The wicking property of hybrid composite yarn fabrics by Bireck method was mostly influenced by the structure of hybrid yarns than the absorption rate of constituent fibers; however, both the hygroscopicity of fibers and the composite yarn structure affected the wicking property of the fabrics in the drop method. Concerning drying properties, the KSK 0815B method measuring distilled moisture weight was more relevant to explain the drying characteristics of hybrid yarn fabrics than the KSK 0815A method measuring the time to drying. This study revealed that the drying properties of hybrid yarn fabrics were influenced by the hygroscopicity of constituent fibers, wicking properties of constituent yarns and structure of composite yarns.

고속 무선랜 시스템에서 콘볼루션 부호기 및 터보 부호기를 이용한 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison of Convolutional Coder and Turbo Coder in a High-Speed Wireless LAN System)

  • 무선랜 기술은 소규모 공간에서 적은 비용과 낮은 전력으로 고속 데이터 전송을 가능하게 한다. 고속 무선랜 관련 표준안인 IEEE 802.11a 및 ETSI HIPERLAN(High Performance Radio LAN) 규격은 5 ㎓대의 무선주파수를 사용하며 고속 데이터 전송에 적합하고 주파수 효율이 높은 OFDM 방식을 채택하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 SPW 시뮬레이션 플랫포옴을 이용하여 유럽의 무선랜 표준 방식인 HIPERLAN/2를 구현하여 표준안에 포함된 구속장의 길이가 7인 콘볼루션 부호기를 이용한 성능과 콘볼루션 부호기 대신에 샤논 한계에 근접하는 우수한 성능을 가진 코드율이 1/2, 1/3, 1/4인 터보 부호기를 적용하여, 다양한 데이터율을 가지는 HIPERLAN/2 무선랜 시스템의 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 시뮬레이션 결과에 의하면 데이터율이 12 Mbps에서는 터보 코드율이 1/3, 1/4 일 때 콘볼루션 부호기보다 약 3 ㏈ 이상의 우수한 성능 개선을 보였고, 데이터율이 36 Mbps 에서는 코드율이 1/4 일 때 기존의 콘볼루션 부호기보다 약 4 ㏈ 이상 성능이 더 개선됨을 알 수 있었다.

영상 품질 및 전송효율 최적화를 위한 심층신경망 기반 영상전송기법 (Video Transmission Technique based on Deep Neural Networks for Optimizing Image Quality and Transmission Efficiency)

  • 고품질 비디오 스트리밍 요구에 따라 제한된 대역폭에서 높은 전송률이 필요하고, 트래픽 혼재 상황이 더 발생한다. 특히 실시간 영상 서비스를 제공 시 패킷 손실 및 비트 오류 확률이 더 크게 증가한다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 실시간 서비스 품질향상을 위한 방법으로 FEC 기술의 한 종류인 랩터 코드가 어플리케이션 영역에서 활발히 사용되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 랩터 코드를 활용하여 유사한 수준의 화질에서 전송 효율을 높이기 위한 다양한 심층 신경망(Deep Neural Network, DNN) 기반 영상전송 파라미터를 결정하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 신경망은 패킷 손실율(Packet Loss Rate), 비디오 인코딩 속도 및 전송속도를 입력으로 사용하고 랩터 FEC 파라미터와 패킷 크기를 출력으로 한다. 제안한 방법은 기존 멀티미디어 전송 기법과 유사한 수준의 PSNR(Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio)에서 전송 효율을 최적화하여 평균 1.2% 높은 스루풋(throughput)을 보였다.

Performance Analysis of Decode-and-Forward Relaying with Partial Relay Selection for Multihop Transmission over Rayleigh Fading Channels

  • Multihop transmission is a promising technique that helps in achieving broader coverage (excellent network connectivity) and preventing the impairment of wireless channels. This paper proposes a cluster-based multihop wireless network that makes use of the advantages of multihop relaying, i.e., path loss gain, and partial relay selection in each hop, i.e., spatial diversity. In this partial relay selection, the node with the maximum instantaneous channel gain will serve as the sender for the next hop. With the proposed protocol, the transmit power and spectral efficiency can be improved over those in the case of direct transmission and conventional multihop transmission. Moreover, at a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), the performance of the system with at least two nodes in each cluster is dependent only on the last hop and not on any of the intermediate hops. For a practically feasible decode-and-forward relay strategy, a compact expression for the probability density function of the end-to-end SNR at the destination is derived. This expression is then used to derive closed-form expressions for the outage probability, average symbol error rate, and average bit error rate for M-ary square quadrature amplitude modulation as well as to determine the spectral efficiency of the system. In addition, the probability of SNR gain over direct transmission is investigated for different environments. The mathematical analysis is verified by various simulation results for demonstrating the accuracy of the theoretical approach.

장거리 사물 인터넷 기기를 위한 간섭에 강인한 ACK 기술 (Robust Acknowledgement Transmission for Long Range Internet of Things)

  • 와이파이 기반의 사물인터넷 장치는 사회, 경제, 산업에 막대한 영향을 미치고 있다. 그러나 와이파이와 같은 비면허 대역에서 동작하는 무선 전송 기술은 간섭에 취약하다. 장거리의 밀집 네트워크에서 무선 연결을 시도하는 경우에는 동적으로 변하는 간섭 상황과 비대칭적인 간섭 조건 때문에 성능 열화가 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 장거리 사물인터넷을 위한 ACK 전송 방법을 제안한다. 본 연구 논문에서 제안한 방법에 따르면, 송신 장치와 수신 장치의 간섭 상황이 다른 비대칭적 간섭 환경에서 송신 장치가 간섭 레벨을 측정한 후 응답 프레임의 전송 속도를 추천해 응답 프레임의 전송 성공률을 향상시킨다. 그리고 고품질의 무선 채널 환경이 보장되는 경우에는 더 높은 전송 속도로 전송할 수 있다. 성능 평가 결과에 따르면 제안하는 방법에 의해 비대칭 간섭 상황에서 20 MHz 대역폭 전송 모드에서 스루풋이 최대 9 Mbps 향상됨을 알 수 있다.

생육 초기에 투광량 증가가 인삼생육 및 지상부 병 발생에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Enhanced Light Transmission Rate During the Early Growth Stage on Plant Growth, Photosynthetic Ability and Disease Incidence of Above Ground in Panax ginseng)

  • This study was performed to investigate the effects of enhanced light transmission on plant growth, photosynthetic ability, and disease tolerance to leaf blight, anthracnose in ginseng (Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer, Araliacease family) during the early growth stage (April to June). The photosynthetic ratio, stomatal conductance, and stem diameter of plants grown under a shade net with 15% light transmission rate showed an increasing trend compared to the control plants (5% light transmission rate) although the growth of the aerial parts were not influenced significantly. Plant height, stem length, and leaf length of treated plants were not significantly different from those of the control plants. Root parameters, such as root length, diameter, and weight of treated plants increased significantly compared to the control. Yield performance ($187.4kg{\cdot}10a^{-1}$) of treated plants was 55.5% higher than that of the control ($150.4kg{\cdot}10a^{-1}$). Additionally, disease severity scores of treated plants were lower than those of the control plants, revealing higher survival rates. To retain high yield potential and enhance the level of disease tolerance in ginseng, we suggest the increase of light transmission rate during the early growth stage.

대추나무 미친병에 관한 연구 3 (Withes Broom of Jujube Tree, Zizyphus jujube Mill, Var. inermis Rehd.(Part.3))

  • Over a period of 1962-64, a transmission-experiment of witchess' broom of jujube tree by stem-grafting was conducted. When stem-grafting of sound scions upon diseased roots or diseased scions upon sound roots were carried out, disease transmission of high rate was witnessed; 99% in the former and, in the latter, 62% of the stocks which saw union by callussing and had new shoots. Even when the diseased scions by stem-grafting or the diseased buds by budding upon sound stock died away, the transmission rate was 21% in stem-grafting and 14% in budding which seems to show that, when tissues of diseased plants and stocks are kept contacted over a certain period, the disease transmission occurs. And when the recovered scions taken from once diseased tree were grafted upon diseased roots, the transmission rate was 100 % and therefore it is presumed that the immunity could not be acquired even under the assumption of complete recovery from the disease. In stem-grafting of the diseased scions upon sound roots, 98% of the scions which were stored in the cellar, overwintered and grafted in spring was diseased, whereas the disease rate of the scions which were cut and grafted in spring was only 33%. It was particularly noteworthy that 90% of the scions in the former case and only 3% in the latter case were diseased as of June 18th approximately 2 months after the actual grafting and then the latter advanced to 33% with the passage of time. It appears that the pathogen in branches and shoots of the diseased trees standing outdoors become inactivated or diminished during winter. Through its symptom, pathological change in tissue, and easy transmission of the disease via stem-grafting, it seems certain that the pathogen of the witches broom disease in jujube tree is a virus.

  • IEEE 802.15.3 High-Rate WPAN(Wireless Personal Area Network)은 TDMA방식을 사용하며 10m내외에서 멀티미디어와 같은 실시간, 대용량 데이터의 전송을 목적으로 한 기술이다. TDMA방식을 사용하는 기술은 디바이스들이 통신을 하기 전에 미리 채널시간을 할당받아야 한다. IEEE 002.15.3 High-Rate WPAN 환경에서 TCP stream을 전송할 경우 TCP ACK을 전송하기 위해 새로운 채널시간을 할당받아야 한다 송신단은 전송할 데이터와 할당받은 채널시간이 남아있더라도 TCP ACK을 수신할 때까지 아무런 전송도 할 수 없게 된다. 본 논문에서는 High-rate WPAN환경에서 TCP stream을 효과적으로 지원하기 위해 송신단이 할당받은 채널시간동안 송신단과 수신단이 충돌없이 채널을 사용하며 네트워크의 성능을 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다.

  • Communication line used in the rail-road have different use from subscriber line in the public telecommunication. But, when an existing communication equipment is replaced, by applying new high-speed transfer technology, we can anticipate the increase of transmission rate and decrease of waiting time according to high-speed of communication line. cost reduction of infrastructure construction and maintenance/repair according to centralization of communication line and transmission equipment. In this study, the transmission scheme of several xDSL(Digital Subscriber Line) modems were compared and analyzed. The way of applying xDSL modem to the metal cable which is used in the JR(Japan Railroad) is analyzed. In addition, the result tested in railroad communication line was reviewed.

Multi transmission method of data among near smart devices using inaudible sound and wireless network

  • In this paper, we propose a new method for multi transmission method of data among near smart devices. Existing methods require the use of an extra application service where the operating system differs between smart devices. In contrast, the proposed method makes use of the smart device's inner speaker and microphone to confirm the transmission signal. Then, real sharing data is transmitted via WiFi or LTE. Therefore, the proposed method overcomes operating system issues with existing methods. Besides, BUMP technology works in a similar way to the method we propose, it only supports one-to-one transmission. To evaluate the efficacy of the new method, we tested one-to-many data transmission in an experiment: the results showed a 96% success rate. As a result, we believe that the proposed method is an effective multi transmission method of data among near smart devices.
